Baby Prints

Here are two sweet cards for baby girls using Baby Prints stamp set.

I embossed the whisper white card with the Fancy Fan folder - I love this design as it's great on all types of cards and looks very elegant. On the second card I also lightly brayered over the embossing to highlight the embossing, using Pink Pirouette ink but it doesn' really show up on the photo. It's only subtle on the card. Of course either of these cards would be suitable for a boy with the correct colour!!

Supplies are all Stampin Up.
Card stock: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette
Stamp set: Baby Prints, Petite Pairs
Accessories and tools: Fancy Fan embossing folder, Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, scallop trim border punch, circle punches, Label Collection Framelits, dimensionals and pearls.

Happy stamping
Lesley.

Build a blossom

I have used the build a blossom stamp set and blossom petals builder for these cards. There is an endless variety of flowers you can make with these petals. The first card I stamped on very vanilla card, and to give a different look on the next flower I stamped on pacific point for the larger petals.

I used the Adorning Accent Edgelits and embossing folder for the cherry cobbler and very vanilla. When I use the Edgelits I put the two card stocks together and cut them at the same time - this gives an exact match when putting them on the base card.
A bone folder was used to shape the petals - looks great but would flatten out if being posted. Base card and ink is Pacific point. A rhinestone jewel and a gold glimmer brad were used in the middle of the flowers. Also used Boho Blossom punch for the first card.
That all for today, I'll be back soon.

Embossing Vellum

Hello

The first card today is done by embossing vellum card using the Manhattan Flower Folder, then cut around the embossed area to show the Concorde Crush card(now retired). The Butterflies...yes more butterflies... Are made using Beautiful Wings Embosslits.

Recently we had a granddaughter and grandson both Christened and this is the card I made. Of course I made a blue one as well. You can find how to make the cross by going to www.frenchiestamps.com. It uses both the Scallop Trim Corner and Border. You can use DSP for the cross, but not card stock as when it is folded it is too thick to go through the punch.

Papillon potpourri and fancy fan embossing folder

Hello

More butterflies again today using the new Stampin' Up In-Colour cards and inks. Don't these colours just look great together. The background of each card was embossed with the new Fancy Fan folder.
This first card, I punched out the butterflies in the Primrose Petals card then put that on top of the Midnight Muse card. I used the Illuminate glimmer watermark to stamp the butterflies on the Raspberry Ripple card. This gives a lovely shimmer, especially on darker colours. I added some silver sparkle to the body and the wing tips of the butterfly and glued the butterflies allowing the wings to stand up.

On the second card I used Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green, Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple on Very Vanilla card. I used Stampin Dimensionals to lift the butterflies away from the background

Papillon Potpourri

Hi

I have had a great day in my craft room all day today so have got lots of projects finished. Here is my latest scrapbook page. I love butterflies so this beautiful Stampin' Up Papillon Potpourri stamp set was a must, especially when it has a co-ordinating punch, which saves all that cutting by hand. Also used the new Dazzling Details Silver Sparkle on the body of the butterfly. (who doesn't like a bit of bling on their pages). Also used the Build a Blossom stamp set and the Blossom Petals Builder punch for the flower

Creative elements

Hi again

This scrapbooking page features Stampin' Up's Creative Elements stamp set which I think really suits a heritage page. I also used the Very Vintage wheel on the crumb cake card but not sure if this shows up in the photo. I find this combination of colours of crumb cake, bravo burgundy and garden green suits this sepia photo.
I don't like to over embellish my pages and I think this is very elegant. Hope you like it too.

Core'dinations card stock and woodgrain embossing folders

Hello

Today I have been playing with the Woodgrain Textured Embossing Folder and the Core'dinations Early Espresso card stock from the latest Stampin' Up holiday catalogue.
The first card I used the Woodgrain texture on both the Crumb Cake card and the Very Vanilla card. Then I brayered using crumb cake ink on the Very Vanilla to highlight the woodgrain. Looks great with the owl, using the Owl builder punch and the Bird builder punch for the leaves.

For the next card I used the Core'dinations card stock and the Woodgrain embossing folder, then highlighting the Woodgrain using sand paper to reveal the lighter colour inside the core'dinations card stock. I really like this new card stock. I am sure I will use it on lots of cards.

Framelits and Edgelits

Hi everyone
I use my big shot for so many of my cards, as I love to use texture, so the embossing folders are always in use. Also the new Stampin' Up framelits are so versatile and I just love the way that they co-ordinate with the stamps sets.
These two cards use the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, adorning Accents embossing folder, Adorning Accents Edgelits, the Labels Collection Framelits, and the co-ordinations stamp set Apothercary Art.

This card uses the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and the flower from Creative Elements Stamp Set.

Happy Stamping
Lesley.
