Daydream Medallions

Hello again

I am using the Daydream Medallions again today. After stamping with versamark, I embossed with Gold Embossing powder and set with the heat tool, then cut with the co-ordinating Floral Frames Framelits then layered them using Dimensionals. The base card was embossed with Fancy Fan folder.

For the Happy Birthday I stamped the sentiment then cut it 27mm high. The length was longer than needed so I could punch the ends. The photo below shows how I did this with the Decorative Label punch. I punched one end at a time.

Elegant Eggplant card stock - # 108614 - p 155
Whisper White card stock - # 106549 - p 156

Hello
Today's card I decided to have a bit of a vintage look, so I used the Very Vintage wheel for the base card, and the clock from Forever Young which I stamped separately and cut out by hand and attached with Dimensionals. Scrapbook page

Hi everyone
Today I have made a scrapbook page of my son and one of our beautiful grand daughters. The red card stock and DSP is no longer available but I liked it with this layout. Also the brads are retired but we have to use these things, don't we.

Midnight Muse and Summer Starfruit card was also used. Punches are Boho Blossoms, Elegant Butterfly, Scallop Trim Corner and Scallop Trim Border. The large flower was cut from the Fun Flowers Bigz L. The layers of the flower were embossed with Fancy Fan, Perfect Polka Dots, and Vintage Wallpaper. Top note Bigz was used to cut the red embellishment on the right.
The butterflies were stamped with versa mark and poppy parade and midnight muse inks, then added iridescent ice emboss powder and set with heat gun, then mounted on top of the corresponding colour card. Stamp sets used are Papillon Potpourri, Flowering Flourishes and Language of Friendship.

Hope to get some more scrapbooking done soon.
Till next time
😄Happy Stamping😄

Swallowtail

Hi
Yesterday I went to a card class with Susan Luke and we made this beautiful card using the very large butterfly from the seasonal catalogue. I love butterflies but wasn't sure how I would use this as it it quite large, but just love this card. Thanks Susan.
I stamped the butterfly so it went onto the back as well, as shown below, and added stamped images from the French Foliage set.
A second butterfly was embossed with gold, then sponged Cajun Craze and More Mustard ink to colour the wing, then cut out and mounted with Dimensionals over the original one. The flower was coloured by adding a couple of drops of Cajun Craze ink to water and swirling the flower in it. Once dried it was then sponged with Cajun Craze to highlight the edges.

Then the finished card folded

Button Buddies

Hello again

Making this card took me back to many years ago when I made a dress in yellow and black. It was very striking and I had lots of compliments with it.

Now back to the card. The vase of flowers was stamped with versa mark and white embossing powder used, and set with the heat gun. I cut the oval out of the front of the card and attached the image on the black card with Dimensionals underneath the front of the card. I then cut a bigger oval in black and glued to the front. Very easy. I used black embossing powder for the Happy birthday.

Zoo review

Hi
A very simple card but I love the black with Pumpkin pie.

I don't think I make a card that I don't use my Big shot. Here I have used two different Framelits - the ovals and adorning accents. They are so quick and easy to use. It is easier the stamp the image first, then cut with the Framelits as its easier to line up the image and cut exactly where you want.

Dress up dies

Hello
This is the 2nd card we made at the team meeting (thanks Kim Gavarra).

The scallop oval from the Ovals Collection Framelits was used to cut the base card and the largest plain oval was used for the whisper white. Place the die on the red folded card as shown below, before putting through the big shot. Looks great with the dress from the Dress Up Framelits. The white background was embossed with Lacy Brocade Embossing folder, then sponged with shimmer paint.

Chalkboard technique

Hi

I attended a team meeting where we did this chalkboard technique, (demonstrated by Tina White) which is very effective - really does look like a blackboard. With clear stamps it is easy to put all these sentiments onto a clear block so you can stamp them at one time. Of course you can use a single image as well. Versa mark was used with white embossing powder. After being heat set we used a slightly damp sponge and dabbing onto white craft ink, then lightly rubbing over the black card.

Shimmer Paint

Hi
Today's card uses Frost White Shimmer Paint sprayed onto Rich Razzleberry card using a Stampin' Spritzer to give a beautiful shimmer. Add some isocol to the spritzer then add a small amount of shimmer paint. It's best to start with a small quantity and add more if necessary depending on the look you want. It doesn't take long to dry before being able to stamp on it. I used versa mark and black embossing powder for the happy birthday.

The 1 3/4" scallop circle punch co-ordinates with the flower from the Button Buddies. The great thing with Stampin' Up is that so many things co-ordinate - card, inks, accessories, stamps, punches, Framelits etc, so it makes it so easy to make cards that look so great.

Very vintage

Hi everyone

A very easy way to create a background is with the wheels, as shown on this card using the very vintage jumbo wheel. I had embossed with the Fancy fan folder before using the wheel. To add to the vintage look I used the crochet trim.
