ABC-123 Alphabet and Numbers

Hi everyone,

These ABC - 123 Outline and Sketch Alphabet and Numbers stamp sets (# 130568 and #130565) will be very versatile for both cards and scrapbooking, as they will be able to be used alone or together, and this is when the Stamp-a-ma-jig (#101049) will be very useful to line up the images. I used them for "LOVE" with Melon Mambo ink (#126948) for the outline and Daffodil Delight (#126944) for the inside.

The colours for the card stock are Island Indigo (#124390), Daffodil Delight (#121680), Melon Mambo (#119980) and Very Vanilla (#106550). I chose these colours as I was wanting to use the Gingham Garden Designer Washi tape (#129324) and they are the colours in this design. I used the lovely Scalloped edge embossing folder from the Delicate Designs (#127023) on the Very Vanilla card, after cutting the edge with the Large Scallop Edgelits (#127019). I also pierced above the scallop using the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack (#126187) and Paper Piercing tool (#126189).
The hearts are cut using the 2 hearts from Hearts a Flutter Framelits (#130159). The larger heart was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder(#117335). The 2 smaller hearts were attached using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I also sponged the edges of the Very Vanilla with Daffodil Delight ink.

Thought for the day-

Enjoy your day,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Happy Birthday

Hello

I have used 2 different embossing folders on this card, the Woodgrain (#137821) for the base card and the Fancy Fan (#127751) for the top card.

The base card is Calypso Coral (#124392),Basic Black (#121688)for the next layer and Crisp Cantaloupe (#131303)for the top. As I was ready to put this card together, the Basic Black and Crisp cantaloupe cards were positioned offset on the table and I liked the look for something different, instead of the usual with the bottom card being evenly positioned, so that's how I put them together on the card. I sponged the edges of the Crisp Cantaloupe with the same coloured ink (#131176).
The stamp sets used are Flowering Flourishes (#126367),Papillon Potpourri (#123759) and Petite Pairs (#122497)for the sentiment and the ink is Basic Black (#126980). The heart is from the Hearts Collection Framelits (#125599) with the Elegant Butterfly punch (# 127526) to cut the butterfly.

Thought for the day -

Have a great day, doing what you love,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.

Clockworks and The Open Sea

Hello again,

It's been a couple of weeks since my last blog, but I have been away on holidays and unfortunately haven't had a chance to make cards till today so here is today's card.

I have used 3 stamp sets for the card - Clockworks, The Open Sea and Gorgeous Grunge plus Label Love for the sentiment. Using the Baked Brown Sugar stamp pad, I stamped directly onto Naturals White card, then stamped the image from clockworks with the Smokey Slate ink on top. I mounted this onto a piece of Island Indigo. On the base card I stamped with the Gorgeous Grunge using Crushed Curry and Smokey Slate inks. The Baked Brown Sugar ink was used to stamp the gears from the Clockworks set onto the base card. The old watch is stamped using Island Indigo, Baked Brown Sugar and Crushed Curry. The Stamp-a-ma-jig is a great tool to line up the images for the clock. It helps position your images just where you want it without the guesswork - a very useful tool I couldn't stamp without it. Smokey Slate ink was used to stamp the world from The Open Sea set. The sentiment uses the Label Love stamp set and punched with the coordinating Artisan Label.

Sketched Birthday

Hi everyone

I have used the Sketched Birthday stamp set for today's card, with Rich Razzleberry, Gumball Green, and Very Vanilla card stock.

The Gumball Green card was embossed using the Needlepoint Border folder, as well as the very Vanilla card which was stamped with the piece of cake. Your Invited uses Gumball Green and Rich Razzleberry inks and cut with the co-ordinating Apothecary Framelits.

Ovals Collection Framelits

Hello today

I love the fresh, bright colours on today's card. I used Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White.

The white oval is embossed with the Lacy Brocade folder. The flowers are punched with the Boho Blossoms punch, the leaves with the Bird Builder punch and the butterfly with the Elegant Butterfly punch. I love the Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape on the bottom of the card.
The butterfly is from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set. I have added rhinestones to the butterfly and flowers. "For You" is from the Itty Bitty Banners set and matching Bitty Banners Framelits to cut it.

Hello again

I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set for the background on the Very Vanilla card, using Baked Brown Sugar and Crushed Curry inks.

The other card colours are Early Espresso and Crushed Curry. The owls eyes are Real Red, Very Vanilla and Basic Black. The Woodgrain folder was used to emboss the Crushed Curry.
The Owl Builder punch is used to make the owl and the branches are punched from the Bird Builder. Label Love is where you will find this Happy Birthday stamp, and it is punched with the co-ordinating Artisan Label. The Decorative Label was used to punch the pieces under the sentiment.

Gorgeous Grunge and Washi Tape

Hello

I used the scallop folder from the Needlepoint Border on this card. As its only a narrow folder it is possible to emboss in 2 areas as I have done ( without flattening out the first one.

I used one of the images from Gorgeous Grunge, stamping with Pacific Point ink on Whisper White card. The floral Washi Tape is from the Gingham Garden Designer tape and the Pacific Point ribbon is the Stitched Grosgrain. The bow is attached with a glue dot. Happy Birthday is from the Sketched Birthday stamp set and using the Bitty Banners Framelits to cut it. This was attached to the card with Dimensionals. The flower uses the 2 smaller Floral Frames Framelits, with the centre flower punched with the Boho Blossoms.

Flowering Flourishes and Papillon Potpourri

Hello

In my last blog I said the Open sea was one of my favourite stamp sets. Because I love butterflies, Papillon Potpourri is another of my favourite sets, as well as Flowering Flourishes, and I have used both of these on this card.

The colours used are Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White. The larger butterfly was stamped with Real Red ink onto real Red card, then a smaller butterfly was mounted on top with a Stampin' Dimensional. The punches used for the butterflies are the Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly. The ribbon is Real Red Stitched Grosgrain. Happy Birthday Wishes is from the Petite Pairs stamp set.

The Open Sea

Hi

My masculine card today uses the Open Seas stamp set - one of my favourites at the moment - with Cherry Cobbler, Island Indigo and Very Vanilla card.

The base card is embossed with the Chevron Folder. The ship was stamped with versamark and heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder. The background for this is stamped with Crumb Cake ink. The 3 little tags were also stamped with Crumb Cake and sponged the edges with Cherry Cobbler ink. The sentiment from Label Love set was also embossed with Cherry Cobbler powder and punched with the new Artisan Label punch. This was mounted onto a tag cut using the Apothecary Accents Framelits. It was embossed using the Perfect Polka Dots folder. The ribbon was ruffled and attached before attaching the sentiment.
