Timeless talk

Hi,

I have used both dry embossing and heat embossing on this card.

The Alphabet Press folder (#130916) was used on the Whisper White card (#106549) and the Stripes folder (#123128) on the Midnight Muse card (#127546). The phone from Timeless Talk stamp set (#126607) was heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder (#122949). Using a Brayer (102395) I applied Crumb Cake ink (#126975) to the embossed white card. The Framelits used are the Labels Collection (#125598) and Bitty Banners (#129267). Using the Paper Piercing Tool (126189) and the Festive Paper Piercing Pack (#126187) I pierced around the Cherry Cobbler Card (#121681). The ribbon used are Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding (#120992) under the Midnight Muse Stitched Satin Ribbon (#126847). Happy Birthday is in the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (#126257) and stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966).

Thought for the day-

Have a great day.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.

Hi and welcome,

Flower Shop Stamp set (#130942) is where you will find these Pansies which I have used on today's card.

Card stock are Very Vanilla (#106550), Basic Black (#121688) and Crushed Curry (#131288). I embossed the Very Vanilla card with the Pretty Print folder (#132175). The ink used is Crushed Curry (#131173). The flowers are punched with the coordinating Pansy Punch (#130698), then I added black Candy Dots (#130934) from the Neutrals collection and Bases (#132293) for the centres. Everything Eleanor Birthday

Hello again,

I love the flourish from the Everything Eleanor stamp set (#124164) which I stamped using Gumball Green ink (#126861) and works well as the stems for the flowers.

I used Very Vanilla (#106550) and Crushed Curry (#131288) card stock. The En Francais background stamp (#127790) was stamped using Crumb Cake ink (#126975). The flowers from the Everything Eleanor set were heat embossed using versamark (#102283), Crushed Curry ink (#131173) and clear embossing powder (#109130). As the new inks stay wet a bit longer, it is possible to use this ink for heat embossing along with versamark. Put the versamark on the stamp first then the coloured ink, then stamp onto the card and add clear embossing powder and heat with the heat tool (#129056). These flowers were cut by hand then attached using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I added Dazzling Details (#124117) to the stamens.
Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon (#126848) was taped to the card. Happy Birthday is from Label Love stamp set (#130622 and the coordinating punch is the Artisan Label (#130920).

Thought for the day-

Have a great day,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Sassy Salutations - Merry Christmas

Hello,

Yes, it's another Christmas card - a very quick and easy one.

Card stock are Whisper White (#106549), Cherry Cobbler (#121681) and Season of Style DSP Stack (#132181). I used the flower from the Joyful Christmas stamp set (#131805) using the Gold Metallic Encore ink pad (#132141), for the background on the white card. Merry Christmas from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (#126707) was heat embossed with versamark (#102283) and Gold embossing powder (#109129). I used the scalloped oval from the Ovals Collection Framelits for the sentiment. The ribbon is Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding (#120992) with a beautiful Frosted Finishes embellishment (#132150) added.

Thought for the day-

Till next time,

Calm Christmas

Welcome,

This beautiful dove from the Calm Christmas stamp set (#132739) is heat embossed with Versa mark (#102283) and Gold embossing powder (#109129).

Don't forget to use the Embossing Buddy (#103083) anytime you heat emboss. This prevents the embossing powder sticking to your project where you don't want it. Simply rub the embossing buddy over your card before stamping.
The card stock used are Whisper White (#106549), Cherry Cobbler (#121681), Gumball Green (#127543) and Season of Style DSP stack (#132181). Peace on Earth - from the Calm Christmas set - is heat embossed with Versamark and Cherry Cobbler powder (#122949) and I used a die from the Chalk Talk Framelits (#129983) to cut it out. It was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The Cherry Cobbler was punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border (#119275). Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon (#126848) was used for the bow and attached with Glue dots (#103683). A Candy Dot from the Neutrals collection (#130934) was added to the tag for the sentiment.

Thought for the day-

There is no telling how many miles you will have to run while chasing a dream.

I appreciate your support and positive comments.

Till next time ,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Chalk talk Framelits and Dasher

Hi again,

Well, it is just 8 weeks till Christmas (where has this year gone).
And yes, Dasher is back - in the Best of Christmas stamps (#134384) and available now. I have stamped Dasher using Raspberry Ripple ink (#126859) on Whisper White card (#106549) and cut out with the Chalk Talk Framelits (#139983).

The base card is Raspberry Ripple (#127545). I stamped Merry Christmas from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (#126707) on Whisper White using Gumball Green ink (#126861). Then I embossed it with the Pretty Print folder (#132175) from the holiday catalogue. A piece of the Season of Style DSP (#132181), also in the holiday catalogue, was added to the white card. I punched some Gumball Green card using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border (#119275) and taped that to the bottom of the DSP. I Sponged around the edges of the white card with Gumball green ink. The "tag" was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). A small bow using Raspberry Ripple Stitched Satin Ribbon (#126845) was attached with Glue dots (#103683)

Framelits

Hello,

This technique is the same as the Secret Garden Stamp and Framelits from a couple of days ago but using Brushed Silver card and Black embossing powder.

The Brushed Silver card (#124918), was heat embossed with Versa mark (#102283) and Black embossing powder (#108133). I used Melon Mambo Stampin' Write marker from the Brights Collection (#131259) to colour the flowers, as well as Summer Starfruit from the In Colours (#126856) for the centre of the larger flower. Happy Birthday is from the Sassy Salutations (#126707) stamp set and is heat embossed in Black. The Framelits used are Secret Garden (#129372), Ovals Collection (#129381) and Labels Collection (#125598). Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) add a bit of bling to the card. Stampin' Dimensionals were used to raise 2 of the flowers. Basic Black card (#121688) was used behind the sentiment.

Calm Christmas

Hi again.

This is a very quick and easy card, using the beautiful Calm Christmas stamp set (#132739) from the Holiday Catalogue.

Card stock are Whisper White (#106549) and Cherry Cobbler (#121681). I have heat embossed the sentiment with Versa mark (#102283) and Cherry Cobbler powder (#122949), and the dove with Gold embossing powder (#109129). I used the Woodgrain embossing folder (#127821) on the Cherry Cobbler card. Secret Garden stamp and Framelits

Hello and welcome,

I love these beautiful flowers from Secret Garden stamp set (#129144) and coordinating Secret Garden Framelits (#129372). This is another card we made at my card class this week.

Using the Secret Garden stamp set on Brushed Gold Cardstock (#124917), I heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129). Then using a Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Marker (#130034), I coloured parts of the flowers. As I coloured each section I dabbed gently with a tissue to dry the ink. It will dry itself, but drying with a tissue also removes the ink from the gold embossing if you happen to colour over that. This method gives a lovely subtle colour. The middle of the larger flower was coloured using More Mustard (now retired). Real Red Marker (#100052) was used for the centres of the other flowers. The leaves were stamped using Calypso coral stamp pad (#126983).

The other card stock are Very Vanilla (#106550) and Calypso Coral (#124392). The base card was stamped with the flourish from Everything Eleanor (#124164) using Crumb Cake ink (#126975). En Francais background stamp (#127790) was used on the panel behind the flowers, also using Crumb Cake ink. Happy Birthday is from Express Yourself set (#130339) and the punches are Word Window (#119857) and Modern Label (#119849).

I made a second card using Baked Brown Sugar (#131301) for the base card for a slightly different look. Get well is also from the Express Yourself set and Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267) used.

That's all for today,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Wonderful Blessing

Hello,

Wonderful Blessing stamp (#134779) is one of the beautiful individual stamps which is currently available. This is one of the cards we did in this weeks card class.

The Very Vanilla base card (#106550) was cut at 15cm x 24 cm, then scored at 5cm and 15.5cm. The Adorning Accents Framelits (#125595) were used on the larger flap, then this was embossed with the Pretty Print Textured Impressions folder (#132175) from the holiday catalogue.
I have heat embossed the Wonderful Blessing image using Versamark (#102283) and Gold embossing powder (#109129) on Very Vanilla card and cut with the Circles Collection Framelits (#130911). A larger circle was cut on Real Red card (#106578). The DSP is Polka Dot Parade (#126902)
I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (#119246) to the star.

Here are different views as the card opens-

Everything Eleanor

Hi,

As you probably realize by looking at my cards, I love to add dimension and texture, which I have done once again on this card.

On Very Vanilla Card (#106550), I embossed using the Pretty Print Textured Impressions folder (#132175). Using Crumb Cake ink (#126975) I brayered over the embossed card to highlight the "writing". Baked Brown Sugar card was cut with a Framelit from Apothecary Accents (#127003) then embossed with Perfect Polka Dots (#117335). The "label" from Everything Eleanor was stamped using Crumb Cake ink, then Happy Birthday from Sassy Salutations (#126707) was stamped with StazOn Jet Black ink (#101406). I cut this label by hand and attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The flowers were also stamped with the StazOn ink on Real Red card (#106578). I cut each of the flowers by hand. I cut the inside petals of the small flower and placed in the centre of the larger flower with a dimensional. Pearls (#119247) were added to the centre of the flowers.

Hello,

Isn't it exciting when your package arrives from Stampin' Up. What products do I use first? I have had the Secret Garden stamp set (#129144) on my wish list for soooo long, so just couldn't wait to use it. This is one of many cards I have made today using this set.

I couldn't resist the beautiful Venetian Romance DSP (#130144), and have teamed it up with Tangerine Tango card (#116206). I heat embossed the flowers using Versamark (#102283), Tangerine Tango ink (#116206) and Clear embossing powder (#109130) on Tangerine Tango card, Then I used the Secret Garden Framelits (#129372) to cut them. The leaf was stamped with Pistachio Pudding ink (#131177) on the same colour card (#131299). Best wishes is from the Express Yourself stamp set (#130339) - one of the Hostess sets - and stamped on Very Vanilla card (#106550) with Tangerine Tango ink.The Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267) were also used for the sentiment.

Hi and Welcome,

The Core'dinations Cardstock is great to achieve a distressed look.

I embossed the Cherry Cobbler Core'dinations card (#129955) - from the Regals collection - with the Honeycomb folder (#129379). Then using the Stampin' Sanding System (#129367), I sanded the card to reveal the inside lighter colour. The sanding system includes a Sanding Block and sandpaper with 2 different grits.
The other card stock are Naturals Ivory (#108630) and Midnight Muse (#127546). The tractor from the Harvest Blessings stamp set (#126452) was heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder (#122949). Merry Christmas with Daydream Medallions

Hello,

I used the largest of the Floral Frames Framelits for the base card for these cards.

Firstly, fold the card in half, then position the Framelit as shown below, so that the card doesn't cut along the top of the fold except for a little peak in the middle. Move the framelit up if you don't want this little piece taken out.

The card stock used for these 2 cards are Real Red (#106578) and Whisper White (#106549). The Daydream Medallions stamp set (#126467) was used with Versamark (#102283) and Gold Embossing Powder (#109129) and heat set. The Floral Frames Collection Framelits (#127012) cut each image, and each layer was attached using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Merry Christmas is from Petite Pairs stamp set (#122497) and cut with Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267).

I find this stamp set and Framelits so versatile, and could be used for a variety of occasions. I will also make some beautiful Christmas decorations with them as well.

Thought for the day -

Enjoy your day,
Till next time,

😊Happy Stamping😊

Flower Shop

Hi everyone,

Using a flower from the Flower Shop stamp set (#130942) I again used the masking technique on this card.

I stamped the middle flower using Versamark (#102283) and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder (#122949), then using the masking technique I stamped the other images using the Gold embossing powder (#109129). The Best Wishes from the Petite Pairs stamp set (#122497) is also heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler.
The card stock used is Whisper White (#106549), Baked Brown Sugar (#131301) and Cherry Cobbler (#121681). The embossing folders are Fancy Fan (#127751) and Delicate Designs (#127023). I used the Circles Collection Framelits for the sentiment as well as the Modern Label punch (#119849), then added a Pearl Basic Jewel (#119247).

Then with a slight change, I stamped and punched the flower and then added them to the card.

The coloured card used are Elegant Eggplant (#108614) and Wisteria Wonder(#124389) and the ink is also Elegant Eggplant (#126969) and Wisteria Wonder (#126985). The punch is the Pansy punch (#130698).

Joyful Christmas

Hello Stampers,

I used the masking technique for the background for today's Christmas Card.

For this technique, stamp the image on your card stock. I used the Joyful Christmas stamp set (#131805). Then stamp it again on a piece of note or scrap paper. Using Post- it note paper ensures your mask stays in place. If using scrap paper you can use a temporary tape to position the mask. Cut around the image and this is your mask. Place the mask over the image on the card stock. Stamp another image on the card stock. Repeat as required. Because I used the Iridescent Ice embossing powder (#101930) and versamark (#102283),I heat set each image before stamping the next. I needed 3 masks for this card so the images didn't overlap.
I then embossed another piece of Whisper White card (#106549) using Versa Mark and Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder (#122949), again with the flower from Joyful Christmas, then fussy cut and attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) to the flower centre.
"Merry" is from the Expressions Thinlits Dies (#132171) from the Holiday Catalogue. "Christmas" is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments (#120024), but as I didn't want "merry" from this stamp I inked only "Christmas" with the Cherry Cobbler marker (#119681). The Word Window punch (#119857) was used to punch this.
See below how to make the punched area smaller. Punch as normal, then place the punched card back into the punch to cut off the unwanted end.

The card stock used for this card is Whisper White (#106549) and Cherry Cobbler (#121681).

Have a great day.
