Candle decorating

Hello again,

I didn't realize how easy it is to decorate a candle.

Stamp your image onto a piece of white tissue paper. Cut around the image to remove the excess tissue paper, but you don't have to be too fussy. Place the stamped tissue paper onto the candle, then wrap a piece of waxed paper around the candle and hold firmly. This keeps the image in the correct position as well as being able to hold the candle. Using the heat gun, heat till the white colour of the tissue paper disappears. It doesn't take long. Remove the waxed paper, and the image is on the candle. How simple is that!!! I will be making lots more of these. What a great easy gift.

I used Rich Razzleberry (#126950) and Gumball Green inks (#126861). To decorate around the base I used the Rich Razzleberry from the Brights Colour Collection DSP Stack (#130134) with the Scallop Trim Border punch (#118402). I then added a piece of Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain ribbon (#126876). The stamp set is Everything Eleanor (#124164).

Thought for the day-

That's all for today,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Papillon Potpourri and Bitty Butterfly punch

Hi,

I have stamped the small butterfly onto the card then attached another butterfly on top for a 3D effect.

The Cardstock is Whisper White (#106549), Bermuda Bay (#131286) and the Brights DSP Stack (#130134). The ink is Bermuda Bay (#131171). The sentiment is from Petite Pairs (#122497) and punched with the Postage Stamp (#122344). The Bitty Butterfly punch is used for the butterflies. These were then attached using Stampin' Dimensionals in the centre of the butterfly so the wings can be lifted. I added Dazzling Details (#124117) to the body of the butterflies.

Washi Tape and Papillon Potpourri

Welcome again,

Yes, I have used the Washi Tape again today. I hadn't used it for some time, but after using it on yesterday's card, thought I would continue with it today.

I love these bright colours of Pacific Point (#116202), Daffodil Delight (#121680) and Melon Mambo (#119980) along with Whisper White card (#106549).
The inks are also Pacific Point (#126951), Daffodil Delight (#126944) and Melon Mambo (#126948). The stamp sets are Papillon Potpourri (#123759) and Sketched Birthday (#130426). I used the Bitty Banners Framelits, as well as the Scallop Trim Border Punch and Elegant Butterfly punch (#127526). The ribbon is Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain (#126872). The Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) were added to the butterflies.

I spent this morning cooking for Christmas. I made a fruit cake, which I guess I should have made a few weeks ago, and lots of nibblies. These included apricot balls, apricot slice, macadamia slice, ginger coated in chocolate, apricot and chocolate and triple layer fudge. Yum!!!
Here's a sample of these delicious goodies which I will have to try to resist till Christmas Day.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Thinlits label card

Hello stampers,

I need an engagement card for my niece and her fiance, and I love this Thinlits Label card (#133479) with the extension.

I cut the Shimmery White card (#121717) 13.9cm x 22cm. This fits in nicely to the Framelit as shown.

There will be a bit of a score line at the egde of the Framelit, which is where you will fold the card, as well as the normal score lines.

I embossed the front with the Perfect Polka dots folder (#117335). Polka Dot Parade DSP (#126902) and Champagne Glimmer Paper (#127885) are used on the card. Congratulations and Best Wishes are from Express Yourself stamp set, with "&" from Fabulous Phrases (#120501). The ink used is Real Red (#106578). The hearts are from the Hearts A Flutter set (#129252), using the coordinating Hearts A Flutter Framelits (#130159) to cut them. I used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch on the Glimmer Paper.

Thought for the day-

Still lots to do,
So till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Snowflake Christmas Decoration

Hello,

Today's beautiful Christmas decoration uses Season Of Style DSP Stack (#132181).

This looks complicated but thanks to a really great tutorial video it is quite easy. For the tutorial go to - Big 3-D snowflake frenchiestamps.com

This was one of the decorations we made in today's class. I also did one in the yellow DSP from the Brights DSP Stacks (#130134)

The finished size of these are about 29cm (11-1/2") starting with 4-1/2" square paper. All the info is on the tutorial, so I don't need to elaborate.

Thought for the day-

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Paper Cone Wreath

Hello

Last night my daughter, a friend and I spent a great time together making these beautiful Paper Cone Wreaths.

We were really pleased with the finished results. We used a 24cm styrofoam wreath for the base. The paper is from the Season Of Style DSP (#132340) from the holiday catalogue. I used the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle punch (#119854) to make the cones. I stapled the bottom of the cones, then attached them to the styrofoam with hot melt glue. The Merry is from the Expressions Thinlits Dies (#132171) using Cherry Cobbler card (#121681) and glued to a piece of Whisper White (#106549). The ribbon is retired - scallop tulle.

I then decided to add another bow, using the Gift Bow Bigz L Die (#129977) with Cherry Cobbler card.

I found this tutorial but made a few changes -

Thought for the day-

Time to organise (clean) my craft room before starting on some more cards.

The embossing folder on the red card is Fancy Fan (#127751) which match nicely with the DSP. The Needlepoint Border (#129383) was used on the white card. The Mosaic punch (#131267) was used to cut out the white card, then the DSP was taped behind. The ribbon is Real Red 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain (#126875).

Baby Prints

Hello,

I make and donate cards to our local church, so this is one of the baby boy cards I made today.

Using Whisper White (#106549) and Tempting Turquoise card (#108598), I stamped using Tempting Turquoise ink (#126952). The embossing folder used is Alphabet Press (#130916). I stamped the feet from the Baby Prints stamp set (#125472) and used the Chalk Talk Framelits (#129983) to make the tag. The "welcome baby" is from the Petite Pairs stamp set (#122497) and " boy" is out of the Baby Prints set. The sentiment was then cut using the Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267). The ribbon for the bow is Whisper White Stitched Grosgrain (#126877) and attached using Glue dots (#103683). The tag and sentiment are attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430)

Hearts a Flutter with Hearts Framelits

Hi and welcome,

Hearts a Flutter stamp set (#129252) with Hearts a Flutter Framelits (#130159) and Hearts Collection Framelits (#125599) were used for this card.

To cut the base card with the Framelits, fold the card in half and place the Framelit on the card as shown below. This allows the card to have a piece at the top that isn't cut through.

The Cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Real Red (#106578). The embossing folders used are Pretty Print (132175) and Fancy Fan (#127751).
Love You is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (#126257) and I used the coordinating Bitty Banners Framelits. Real Red ink (#126949) was used to stamp all the images.

This was also a great opportunity to make the correct size envelope using the Envelope Punch Board.

It is so easy to make any size envelope. I just stamped some hearts to decorate the envelope. It's nice to really personalize the envelope and match it with the card.

Thought for the day-

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Feel better male card

Hello again,

The Circles collection Framelits (#130911) were used and the punch is the Owl Builder (#118074). I also used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder (#117335) for the front of the owl. Secret Garden stamp set and Framelits

Hello,

It's great to have Framelits and punches that coordinate with the stamp sets.
The flowers for this card are from the Secret Garden Stamp set (#129144).

The card stock is Bermuda Bay (#131286), Crushed Curry (#131288) and Whisper White (#106549). I embossed on part of the white card with the Honeycomb folder (#129378. The Flowers were heat embossed with Clear embossing powder (#109130). With the new ink pads, because they stay wet for a bit longer, you can just stamp the image and quickly add the embossing powder, then heat set. The inks used are Bermuda Bay (#131171), Crushed Curry (#131173) and Soft Suede (#126978). Gorgeous Grunge (#130517) and Label Love (#130622) are the other stamp sets used. The punch for the sentiment is the Artisan Label (#130920), and the Secret Garden Framelits (#129372) cut the flowers and leaves. For a bit of sparkle I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) and Dazzling Details (#124117) to the flower centres.

Thought for the day-

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
