Flower Shop and Fancy Foil Designer Vellum

Hello,

After a busy day (making cards of course) here is a quick and easy card.

The Whisper White (#106549) base card was cut with the Large Scallop Edgelits (#127019), then embossed with the Delicate Design folder (#127023). I added a piece of Brushed Gold cardstock (#124917) to the edge. The Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum (#133363) was attached to the card with Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (#120805). The flowers from Flower Shop stamp set (#130942) were stamped with Versamark (#102283) and heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder (#122949). The pearls are the Large Pearl Basic Jewels (#125577).

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.

Hexagon Hive Thinlits dies

Hi and welcome,

When using the Hexagon Hive Thinlits dies (#132965) it's worthwhile using a waxed paper between the die and the card to make it easier to remove the card from the dies. This is best for most of the Thinlits.

I cut the Hexagon Hive with Basic Black card (#121688) with Daffodil Delight (#121680) for the base card. The sentiment and images from Peaceful Petals (#133107) were stamped on Whisper White (#106549) Happy Birthday is from the Petite Pairs stamp set (#122497). The punch used for this is the Hexagon (#130919). The inks are Basic Black (#126980) and Gumball Green (#126861). I added some Candy dots (#130931 - brights, and 130934 - neutrals) to the flower.
The Peaceful Petals and Hexagon Hive Thinlits are both available from the Occasions catalogue.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.

On Film Framelits Dies

Hello again,

My husband needed a Thank You card for someone in his photography class so just had to use the On Film Framelits dies (#132969).

The Cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550), Island Indigo (#124390) and Cherry Cobbler (#121681), with the DSP from Venetian Romance (#130144). The ship is from The Open Sea (#123032) and heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder (#122949). Thank you is from Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (#126257) and cut with the Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267). For the camera, and using a brayer, I inked the Framelit with Crumb cake (#126975) before putting through the Big Shot (#113439). This gives some colour to the embossed areas of the image. The film strip and camera are from the On Film Framelits dies. The embossing folder used on the Island Indigo card is the Square Lattice (#119976). I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the camera and sentiment to the card.

Have a great day,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Scalloped Tag Topper punch

Hi to all,

I used the Scalloped Tag Topper punch (#133324) for the tag on this card. This is available from the Occasions catalogue.

Cardstock used is Whisper White (#106549), Melon Mambo (#119980) and Pink Pirouette (#116203). I used the Decorative Dots embossing folder (#133520) from Sale-a-bration on the Melon Mambo card. The Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch is used on the Pink Pirouette card. I stamped with the Off The Grid stamp (#130736) using Pink Pirouette ink (#126956) on the tag. The hearts are from Hearts a Flutter stamp set (#129252) and cut with the Hearts a Flutter Framelits (#130159). The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set (#122497). The butterfly is from the Papillon Potpourri set (#123759) and punched with the Bitty Butterfly punch (#129406). Melon Mambo ink (#126948) is the ink used for the butterfly and hearts. I added a Candy Dot from the Brights collection (#130931) and Candy Dots Brad Base (#132293) to the top of the tag. I used the Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) for the larger heart and butterfly.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Secret Garden and Hardwood

Hello friends,

Today's card uses the inside piece cut from the 2nd card I made yesterday with the Hardwood background stamp (#133035) and had embossed with Gold embossing powder - I certainly couldn't let this go to waste!!

The base card is Very Vanilla (#106550), with the other Cardstock being Wisteria Wonder (#124389), Elegant Eggplant (#108614) and Brushed Gold (#124917). I heat embossed 2 flowers with Versamark (#102283) and Gold embossing powder (#109129). The flower on the Very Vanilla card was stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink (#126969) and Clear embossing powder (#109130) and heat set. The flowers are from the Secret Garden stamp set (#129144) and the Secret Garden Framelits (#129372) cut these. The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set (#122497) and punched with the Modern Label punch (#119849). I used the Honeycomb embossing folder (#129378) to emboss the Elegant Eggplant card.
To attach the flowers I taped the Very Vanilla flower on to the card, then used Stamping' Dimensionals (#104430) on the Elegant Eggplant flower. For the gold flower I put 2 Dimensionals on top of each other to lift it up higher again.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Hardwood background

Hello,

I used the Hardwood background stamp on this card to represent a photo frame.

I stamped the Hardwood stamp (#133035) with Baked Brown Sugar (#131174) onto Very Vanilla card (#106550). I then cut a rectangle from the middle to create a "frame". I have stamped the Giraffe from Zoo Review (#122199). The "frame" was then taped to the Early Espresso card. The sentiment from Express Yourself (#130339) and the giraffe were stamped with Pumpkin Pie (#126945). The punch used for the sentiment is the Modern Label (#119849).

After making this card I decided to jazz it up and made the following card.

For the frame I used Versa mark (#102283) and Gold embossing powder (#109129) and heat set it. The flower from Secret Garden (#129144) was also heat embossed with Gold onto Brushed Gold card (#124917, and cut with the Secret Garden Framelits (#129372). The flourish from Everything Eleanor (#124164) is stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#126975). Basic Black card (#121688) is used behind the frame. I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to lift the frame.

That's all today,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.

Fancy Foil Designer Vellum

Hello and welcome,

I have always found it difficult to attach vellum to Cardstock without the tape showing through, but today I think I found the solution. I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (#120805). I wanted to use the Silver Foil Designer Vellum (#133364) so I used the adhesive sheet on the vellum, then attached it to the card - so easy and looks great!!

The Cardstock is Brushed Silver (#124918) and Whisper White (#106549). I stamped the sentiments from Petite Pairs stamp set (#122497) using the Silver Metallic Encore ink (#132142). These were then cut with the Circle Collection Framelits (#130911). The flowers from the Secret Garden stamp set (#129144) are heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Silver Embossing Powder (#109131) and cut with the coordinating Secret Garden Framelits (#129372).

That's all for now,

Mixed Bunch

Hello,

One of the things that I love about Stampin' Up! is how everything coordinates. This card has 3 different stamps sets all with coordinating punches.

Of course the Cardstock and inks all coordinate as well.
The Cardstock used is Elegant Eggplant (#108614), Rose Red (#108613), Wisteria Wonder (#124389) and Very Vanilla (#106550). The inks are Elegant Eggplant (#126969) and Rose Red (#126954). I also used Versamark (#102283) to stamp the background on the Rose Red card with the En Francais stamp (#127790). The Wisteria Wonder was embossed with the Chevron folder (#127749). The stamp sets used are Mixed Bunch (#125537), Petite Petals (#133155) and Label Love (#130622). The punches coordinating with these are the Blossom (#125603), Petite Petals (#133322) and Artisan Label (#130920). I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the flowers and sentiment to the card. Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#129324) were added to the flower centres. The ribbon is the Very Vanilla Seam Binding (#120999).

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Tasteful Trim Bigz XL

Hi,

I was doing a scrapbook page today using the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL (#120893) and had some pieces left over so have used them on today's card - the scallops and zigzag pieces.

The Cardstock used is Very Vanilla (#106550), Gumball Green (#127543), Calypso Coral (#124392) and Basic Black (#121688). The DSP is from the Epic Day This and That (#130814). The flower is from the Peaceful Petals set (#133107), and stamped and heat set using Versamark (#102283) and Black Embossing powder (#109133). I added some Dazzling Details Silver Sparkle (#127845) to the flower centres. Happy Birthday is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (#126257) and cut with the Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267). Black embossing powder was also used for the sentiment.

Enjoy your day,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Mother's Day card with Petite Petals

Hello again,

As I said yesterday, I was asked to make some Mother's Day cards. This is the next design.

Using Whisper White card (#106549) for the base card, I embossed this with the Stripes folder (#123128). The other Cardstock is Pacific Point (#116202). The square with the butterfly was punched with the postage stamp punch (#122344). The butterfly is from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set (#123759) and punched with the Bitty Butterly punch (#129406). The flowers are from the Petite Petals stamp set (#133155) and Petite Petals punch (#133322) - buy both in a bundle with a 15% saving (#134822). The sentiment ( Wonderful Mother) is a retired set. The inks used are Pacific Point (#126951) and Crushed Curry (#131173). Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) were added to the flowers and butterfly.

Have a great day,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Harvest Blessings

Hello,

This month we have several birthdays, so I have been busy with cards for family members. Here is the one for my husband.

Cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and Early Espresso (#121686). The DSP is from Venetian Romance (#130144). I embossed the Early Espresso card with the Woodgrain embossing folder (#127821). The tractor from Harvest Blessings (#126452) was heat embossed using Versamark (#102283), Early Espresso ink (#126974) and Clear embossing powder (#109130). I sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink then distressed the edges with the Stampin' Distressed Tool (#127562). The sentiment is from the Label Love stamp set (#130622) and punched with the coordinating Artisan Label punch (#130920). The Banner Punch (#133519) was used for the 3 little banners. This punch is available from the Sale-a-bration which is only available for another couple of weeks. Then I added the Candy Dots from the Neutrals collection (#130934). As usual I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment and the tractor to the card.

If you would like anything from Sale-a-bration, just contact me now with your order. You only need to order $90 of products to get a free product. This offer is only available till 31st March.

Hardwood background and Peaceful Petals

Welcome friends,

I do like the Hardwood background stamp (#133035) from the Holiday catalogue and I find it suits both male and female cards.

I stamped the background with the Silver Metallic Encore ink pad (#132142) onto Whisper White card (#106549). Other cardstock used is Real Red (#106578) and Basic Black (#121688). The DSP at the bottom of the card is from the Brights DSP stack (#130134). The flower is from the Peaceful Petals set (#133107) also in the Holiday catalogue. I stamped this with Versamark (#102283) and used White embossing powder (#109132) and heat set it. I then hand cut the flower and attached it to the black card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).
"Thinking of you" is from the Sassy Salutations set (#126707) and stamped with Real Red ink (#126949). The circles are all cut with the Circles Collection Framelits (#130911). I used the Real Red Candy dots from the Brights collection (#130931).

Hope you all have a great day, doing what you love,

Till next time,

Blossom Punch

Hi,

I have never really done any punch art but was wanting to do something different for my grandson's birthday card, so this is my version of a lion. I hope he likes it.

The cardstock is Crushed Curry (#131288), Basic Black (#121688), Whisper White (#106549) and Real Red (#106578). I embossed the back ground with the Woodgrain folder (#127821). The sentiment is from Express Yourself set (#130339), which is one of the Hostess products. The Word Bubbles Framelits (#132968) were also used for the sentiment. The ink is Basic Black (#126980)
For the lion's mane I punched 2 Blossoms (#125603). I sponged the edges with Crushed Curry ink, then cut the edges. I attached these with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I then cut 3 circles with the Circles Collection Framelits (#130911). The eyes and heart for the nose are from the Owl Builder punch (#118074). The whiskers are drawn using the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker (#100082).

That's all for today,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Flowering Flourishes and Bitty Butterfly punch

Hello and Welcome,

There are some tools I just find invaluable when making cards, and the Colour Coach is one I use regularly, and have used again for this card. It often suggests colours that you may not have thought to use together, so can add variety to your cards.

Bermuda Bay (#131286), Melon Mambo (#119980) and Whisper White are the cardstock used. The Flowering Flourishes stamp (#126367) was stamped using Versamark (#102283) and Clear embossed (#108130) and heat set. The sentiment is from Label Love (#130622) with the coordinating Artisan Label punch (#130920). The DSP is from the Brights Stack (#130134). I punched the butterflies with the Bitty Butterfly Punch (#129406) using the Champagne Glimmer Paper (#127885), and added Rhinestone Basic Jewels. The butterflies and sentiment were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Thought for the day-

Bye for now,

Secret Garden

Hi again,

The Colour Coach (#130118) is such a great tool to help with choosing colour combinations. I used it for today's card. I was wanting to use Soft Sky so I consulted the colour coach and Island Indigo was the dynamic duo colour so that's how I decided on these colours, and don't they look great together.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549), and I stamped on this with Soft Sky ink (#131181) for a subtle background using the flower from the Secret Garden stamp set (#129144). I stamped on the Soft Sky card (#131181) using Versa mark (#102283), again giving a very subtle image. The single flower on the White card was stamped with Island Indigo ink (#126986). The Secret Garden Framelits were used to cut the flower. I then used Dazzling Details (#124117) on the flower centre for a bit of sparkle.
The Finishing Touches Edgelits (#127010) were used on Island Indigo card (#124390) and attached to the side of the Soft Sky card. Happy Birthday is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (#126257) and I used the coordinating Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267).

Have a great day.
😊Happy Stamping😊

Peaceful Petals and Watercolour Wonder DSP

Hello everyone,

The Four Frames stamp set (#123442) is another set I haven't used for a long time, so I have used it on this card today with the sentiment.

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Pacific Point (#116202) with Watercolour Wonder DSP (#132994). I stamped with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp (#130527) using Crushed Curry ink (#131173) for the background. The flower is from the Peaceful Petals stamp set (#133107) and stamped with Pacific Point ink (#126951). "Thank you" is also from the Peaceful Petals set.
The punch for the sentiment is the Decorative Label (#120907). The Ribbon is Pacific Point Stitched Grosgrain (#126878). The sentiment and flower were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The scallops were punched with the Scallop Edge Border punch (#119882).

Hope you have a great day,

Create a Cupcake

Hello,

I haven't used the Create A Cupcake stamp set(#121982) for so long, so here is a very easy card I made with it. I added a couple of balloons so perhaps would be a good kids card.

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549), Basic Black (#121688), Real Red (#106578) and Pacific Point (#116202). The inks used are Real Red (#126949) and Pacific Point (#126951). The balloons are from the Sketched Birthday stamp set (#130426) and the sentiment is from Label Love (#130622). The punch is the Artisan Label punch (#130920). I used the Hardwood background stamp (#133035) on the Pacific Point and Real Red card. The punch for the cupcake is the Cupcake Builder (#121807). I used the Silver Glimmer paper (#124005) for the icing for the cupcake which gives a nice sparkle.

Love what you do, and share what you love.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Everything Eleanor

Hello,

This is the card we made at today's card class.

The cardstock used is Basic Black (#121688), Whisper White (#106549) and Cherry Cobbler (#121681). The stamp sets are Everything Eleanor (#124164) and Bring on the Cake (#121958). The flourish was stamped using the Silver Metallic Encore ink pad (#132142). The flower was embossed using Versamark (#102193) and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder (#122949). Dazzling Details (#124117) were used to add some sparkle to the flower. The flowers on the Cherry Cobbler card were embossed with Silver embossing powder (#109131). The flap was cut using the labels collection Framelits. I scored this in half and taped it to the back of the card. The Cherry Cobbler flower was positioned on the card so that the flap tucked under, so the flower will hold it in place. The flower was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

I decorated inside with the flowers using Cherry Cobbler Ink (#126966). On the inside of the flap I stamped using a sentiment from the Petite Pairs stamp set (#122497) and the Silver Metallic ink pad.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Hearts Collection Framelits

Hello,

I saw a similar card to this some time ago on Song of my Hearts Stampers blog so this is my version. The Hearts collection Framelits (#125599) are used.

The largest heart is used for the base card, and the Framelit is placed on the folded card to give a hinge for the card. Cardstock is Whisper White (#106549). I then embossed with the Fancy fan folder (#127751). By placing 3 of the hearts as shown below, gives you the 2 hearts which I interlocked.

I embossed the hearts with the Perfect a Polka Dot folder (#117335). When I decided were I wanted to place the hearts I cut the smaller heart, and this cut is hidden under the larger heart. The hearts were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The smaller solid heart, the 4 tiny hearts and the label under the sentiment uses the Silver Glimmer Paper (#124005). The tiny hearts are from the Owl Builder punch (#118074). The Modern Label punch (#119849) and Word Window punch (#119857) were used for the sentiment. "For the Newlyweds" is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments (#120024) and stamped with the Silver Metallic Encore ink pad (#132142).

That's all for today,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Glimmer Paper Butterflies

Hello again,

We arrived back home a few days ago after a lovely relaxing holiday, but I haven't had a chance to make a card for the blog till now. We had a water leak when we arrived home. Luckily we can turn off the water when we are away. So when we turned on the pump we realised we had a problem. We eventually found a broken pipe, but it meant I had to remove everything from my large and very heavy cupboard in my craft room to be able to fix the problem. Anyway it's all fixed, so thankfully it's back to making cards again.

I started with the base card using Smokey Slate (#131291). The other Cardstock are Whisper White (#106549) and Real Red (#106578). I stamped the flourish from Everything Eleanor (#124164) using the Silver Metallic Encore ink pad (#132142). I then embossed with the Pretty Print folder (now retired from the Holiday catalogue). The Real Red card was cut with the Adorning Accents Edgelits (#125595) and embossed with the coordinating Adorning Accents folder (#125601). The butterflies are punched with the Elegant Butterfly (#127526) and Bitty Butterfly (#129406) punches, using Red Glimmer Paper (#121790) and Silver Glimmer paper (#124005). The Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) were added to the butterfly centres. Happy Birthday is from the Sketched Birthday set (#130426), stamped with Real Red ink (#126949) and cut with the Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267).

Don't forget that Sale-a-bration is still continuing so if you would like any info, just contact me. For every $90 you spend, you receive a free Sale-a-bration gift.

Peaceful Petals birthday

Hello again,

With being away from home with limited supplies for card making, it is still possible to make some simple but nice cards.

I used the Hardwood background stamp (#133035) on the Very Vanilla card.
I did bring my big shot, so I have used the Stripes folder (#123128) to emboss both the Elegant Eggplant (#108614) and Very Vanilla (#106549) cards. The base card is Wisteria Wonder (#124389). The flourish is from Everything Eleanor stamp set (#124164) and the flower from the Peaceful Petals (#133107) which you can find in the Occasions Catalogue. The inks used are Gumball Green (#126861) and Elegant Eggplant (#126969). Happy Birthday is from the Sassy salutations stamp set (#126707) and I used the Chalk Talk Framelits (#129983) for the sentiment. As usual I attached the flower and sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.

Petite Petals and Flower Shop

Hi,

These 2 stamp sets go so well together - Petite Petals (#133155) and Flower Shop (#130942) and I think I have said before are some of my favourite sets.

Cardstock used for this card are Very Vanilla (#106550), Basic Black (#121688), and Cherry Cobbler (#121681). I stamped with the En Francais background stamp (#127790) using the Silver Metallic Encore ink pad (#132142) on the Cherry Cobbler card. I also used this silver ink for the label for the sentiment. This is from the Everything Eleanor stamp set (#124164). Thinking of you is from the Sassy Salutations set and stamped with Basic Black ink (#126980). The flowers are stamped with Cherry Cobbler (#126996) and Basic Black. The larger flower is attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104045), and I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) to the centre of each of the flowers.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.
