Stylish Stems Framelits Dies

Hello,

I'll be disappointed when these beautiful Stylish Stems Framelits Dies (#142750) are retired, but we always have to make room for more exciting products. The flower is cut with these framelits.

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Watermelon Wonder (#138341). I embossed the cardfront with the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#141493). The 2 scalloped squares were cut with the Layering Squares Framelits (#141708). Happy Birthday and the banner is from the Birthday Banners stamp set (#p141506) and stamped with Watermelon Wonder ink (#138323). The co-ordinating framelit to cut this banner is in the Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488). I attached the banner and the white scalloped card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).
So the retiring products here are the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies and the Watermelon Wonder card and ink.

Have a great weekend.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Layering Squares Framelits Scrapbook page

Hello,

Here's a very simple scrapbook page using the Layering Squares Framelits (#141708).

The base page is Smokey Slate from the 12x12" Neutrals Collection (#131187). The other cardstock used is Basic Black (#121688), Real Red (#106578) and Whisper White (#106549). The Real Red card and the photos were cut with the Layering Square Framelits. The black squares were cut with the trimmer. The hardest part of this page is probably lining up all the squares and getting the correct distance between each square. I found an easy way to do this. I measured the 3 squares together (240mm), then took this measurement from the 304mm base size which left 64mm. I then divided this amount by 4 which is 16mm to give me equal spacing. I cut strips this size, then placed them on the page to easily arrange the squares as shown below. This makes it very easy to ensure everything is in line.

This is a great way to use photos that have a lot of background that can be cut from the photo and highlight the subject.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Grateful Bunch

Hi and welcome,

These flowers from the Grateful Bunch stamp set (#p140691) are cut with the co-ordinating Blossom Punch (#140612).

All the images were stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#131171). Happy Birthday is from the Big On Birthdays stamp set (#p142877). The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Bermuda Bay (#131286). I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372) to cut the 2 circles. The Whisper White card front has been embossed with the Elegant Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#138287). The ribbon is Silver 1/8" Ribbon and I added White Perfect Accents (#138416)to the flower centres. I added a bit of sparkle to the larger flower using the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897).
The Grateful Bunch stamp set and the Blossoms Punch are retiring, as well as the Elegant Dots Embossing folder.

Have a great day.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Guy Greetings

Hello,

It's a while since I made a masculine card, so here is one today using the Guy Greetings stamp set (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178).

The cardstock is Early Espresso (#121686) and Very Vanilla (#106550). Happy Birthday is from the Big On Birthdays stamp set (#p142877). The car and "to a classic" is from the Guy Greetings stamp set. These were all stamped with Early Espresso ink (#126974). The background was stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#126975) and these images are from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (#c130517, #w130514). The Early Espresso card behind the car and the square of Very Vanilla with the splotches were both cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (#145372).

The only product retiring here is the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Paisley stamp set

Hello friends,

This beautiful Paisley stamp set (#142196) and matching Paisley Framelits Dies (#141849 will be returning in the new catalogue which is great news.

I have used Very Vanilla card (#106550) as well as Gold Foil Sheets (#132622). All the stamping has been heat embossed with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109129). The Paisley Framelits were used to cut all the paisley images except the leaves. These were cut by hand as there is only a framelit for the smaller leaf in the set. I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372) to cut the Very Vanilla oval and the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706) to cut the scalloped gold foil. Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the greeting and the larger paisley.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Flourishing Phrases

Hi everyone,

When I first saw the retiring list I thought the Flourishing Phrases stamp set was retiring, but then realised it was the bundle that is retiring so the stamp set and framelits will still be available in the next catalogue. You will find this with a number of the bundles that the products will be still be available but not as a bundle. I have used the Flourishing Phrases Bundle (#c142323, #w142322) for this card.

The base card is Rose Red (#108613), then I have used Wisteria Wonder (#124389), Whisper White (#106549), Garden Green (#108605) and Pink Pirouette card (#116203). I used Rose Red ink (#126954) to stamp the flower and sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set (#c141534, #w141531). The sentiment was cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706) and as usual I attached this with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The flowers and leaves which were cut with the Flourish Thinlits (#141478) were glued using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). I added some Metallic Enamel Shapes (#141678) to finish the card.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Butterfly Thinlits

Hello ladies & guys,

I can't believe the weekend is here already. Where do the weeks go? On todays card I have used Mint Macaron card (#138344) and ink (#138326), which are in the In Colours that are retiring.

I have stamped on the Whisper White card (#106549) using the splotch from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set (#p137167) using the Mint Macaron ink. I stamped this image twice. Then I using the crosshatch image from Best Birds stamp set (#p141525), I heat embossed with VersaMark (#102283) and White Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109132) over the splotches. I also did  the same on the Mint Macaron card for the piece across the bottom of the card. The butterfly was cut with a framelit from the Butterfly Thinlits (#137360) from Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) and attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Thank You is from the Rose Wonder stamp set (#p140697) and this was heat embossed with VersaMark and Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109129). One of the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706) was used to cut the sentiment. This was also attached with Dimensionals.
The Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set is also retiring.

Have a great weekend.

Happy Stamping!

Grateful Bunch

Hello,

After colouring the Doilie for yesterdays card, I realised when I looked at the scrap paper I was using under the Doilie, that it would make a great background, so that's how I did the background on this card.

I placed 4 Lace Doilies (#142793) on the piece of Whisper White card (#106549), then used a Sponge Brayer (#141714) with Wisteria Wonder ink (#126985) to apply the colour. Thinking Of You from the Time Of Year stamp set (#p141790) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Wisteria Wonder ink (#126985), then I added Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109130) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056), The flower from Grateful Bunch (#p140691) was stamped twice. 1flower was cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (#145372) and this was attached to the Wisteria Wonder card (#124389) which was cut with the same set of framelits. The 2nd flower was cut by hand and attached over the first flower with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). A White Perfect Accent (#138416) was added to the centre of the flower. The Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) was used to add sparkle to the flower.
The retiring products here are Grateful Bunch stamp set, Time Of Year stamp set and the Lace Doilies.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Love and Affection

Hello and welcome again,

More retiring products have been used here on this card.

The Love and Affection stamp set (#p141545) was used for all the stamped images. The Very Vanilla card (#106550) was embossed with the Floral Affection Textured Impressions Embossing folder (#141713) which co-ordinates with the stamp set. The flower was stamped with the Emerald Envy ink (#141396), and the centre of the flower was stamped with So Saffron ink (#126957).  I then handcut the flower and attached it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves were also stamped with Emerald Envy ink but using the stamping off method for a lighter image. The DSP is from the Moroccan Designer Series Paper (#141645). A Pearl Basic Jewel (#119247) was added to the flower.
The retiring products from this card are the Moroccan DSP, Love and Affection stamp set, Floral Affection Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and Pearl Basic Jewels.

Have a great day.

Falling Flowers Scrapbook page

Hello,

I hope you all had a lovely relaxing Easter. I was planning on scrapbooking all day today but didn't get into the craft room till later in the day. However I did get this double page done.

The base pages are from the Irresisitably Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper (#141644). The white on white floral design on this paper is the same as the images in the Falling Flowers stamp set (#c139556, #w139553), so I have stamped these flowers on Night Of Navy card, using VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109131). The co-ordinating framelits to cut these flowers are the May Flowers Framelits (#140276). The framelit to cut the Silver Foil was from the Flourish Thinlits (#141478) as well as the border piece in Night Of Navy. The silver doilies are Metallic Foil Doilies (#138392). Night Of Navy card and Silver Foil Sheets were used to mat the photos.
All of the products used on these pages are remaining in the next catalogue which is good news.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Special Reason Bundle

Hello again,

I was very saddened to see that the Special Reason stamp set (#c142902, #w142899) and the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies (#142750) are being retired. I loved this set. So today I have used these and some other retiring products.

The card base is Delightful Dijon (#138345) and the DSP is Moroccan Designer Series Paper (#141645). Both of these are retiring. The other cardstock I have used which is not retiring is Very Vanilla (#106550) and Cajun Craze (#121683). The leaves are stamped with Mint Macaron ink (#138326) and the sentiment with Delightful Dijon ink (#138327) - both retiring. The Very Vanilla card front was embosssed with the retiring Elegant Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#138287), another one of my favourite products. Yes, I seem to have a lot of favourites - don't I!!! The flower and leaves were glued using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309) and the sentiment attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I also stamped the inside of the card. It's convenient when there is a greeting for the outside of the card and one which follows on to the inside.

I hope you all have a Happy and safe Easter.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Papillon Potpourri

Hi,

The retiring list is out for the Annual catalogue and Occasions catalogue which both end on 31st May. So over the next few week I will make cards featuring some of the retiring products. Some of the retiring products are already sold out so don't waste time if you would like to grab a bargain as some of the products are at discounted prices. Check out the retiring list here. Let me know if you would like to place an order.

Most of the products on this card are retiring. It's sad to see some of my favourite products going, but of course they have to make way for lots of new exciting products in the new catalogue.

The 2015-2017 In Colours are retiring which includes Watermelon Wonder card (#138341) which I used for the base card. Also the Watermelon Wonder ink (#138323) which was used for the butterflies, flowers and sentiment. The flowers and small butterfly were stamped using the stamping off method to give a lighter colour. The flowers are from the Petite Petals stamp set (#c133155,#w133152) and the butterflies are from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set (#c123759, #w132058). Happy birthday is from the Circle of Spring stamp set (#p138964) and this was cut with the Tags & Labels Framelits (#138282). I added the Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to the flowers and butterfies. The background was stamped using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (#130514) with Mint Macaron ink (#138326) and Cucumber Crush ink (#138324). All these products are retiring. The card front is Very Vanilla (#106550) and the flowers, butterflies and the sentiment were all attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The Very Vanilla card and Dimensionals are NOT retiring.

I hope you are all having a great Easter weekend.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Big On Birthdays

Hello again,

I've had a very busy week and didn't get a chance to make cards the last couple of days so apologies if you were looking for my cards. Today's card uses the Big On Birthdays stamp set (#p142877) for the flowers and sentiment.

The base card and label are Whisper White (#106549). I stamped on the Real Red card (#106578) using VersaMark (#102283) and Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109130) which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). Happy Birthday was stamped with Real Red ink (#126949) and the flowers were stamped with VersaMark and Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109129). As this image is one stamp, I used the masking method to stamp the sentiment and flowers separately. The label was cut with the largest Lots Of Labels Framelits (#138281) and the edges were sponged with Real red ink. I use a Sponge Dauber (#133773) for all my sponging. The Real Red ribbon is 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon (#141693) and the white ribbon is a retired one. The Gold 5/8" Satin Ribbon (#134547) would work well instead of the white ribbon. I attached the label to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

So Detailed Thinlits Dies

Hello to everyone,

The So Detailed Thinlits Dies (#142751) were used to cut the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) to create this delicate cutout.

Firstly, I stamped the sentiment from the So In Love stamp set (#c143216, #w143112) using StazOn ink (#101406). This is a permanent ink and suitable for non-porous surfaces like the Gold Foil. Then I cut this piece with the framelit. The Wisteria Wonder cardfront (#124389) was embossed with the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#141493). The base card is Elegant Eggplant (#108614). The flowers are from the Special Reason stamp set (#c142902, #w142899) and stamped with Wisteria Wonder ink (#126985) and Elegant Eggplant (#126969) on Whisper White card (#106549). These flowers have been cut with one of the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies (#142750). I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) to the flowers and the darker flower was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Birthday Blossoms

Welcome,

Not sure if you can see from the photo, but all the images on this card are heat embossed.

To be able to heat emboss with any colour, all you need to do is ink the image with VersaMark (#102283) then ink the image with the desired coloured ink, then stamp onto the card, add Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109130) and heat set as usual with the Heat Tool (#129056). Here I have used Pink Pirouette ink (#126956) for the small cluster of flowers, Pear Pizzaz ink (#131180) for the leaves and Rich Razzleberry ink (#126950) for the larger flower and sentiment. The flower was punched with the Pansy Punch (#130698) and attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The framelit from the Botanical Builder Framelits (#140625) was used for the leaves on the left side of the Whisper White card (#106549). The base card is Rich Razzleberry (#119981). All the images are from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167).

Have a great week.

Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper

Hi again,

The Designer Series Paper here is from the Floral Boutique DSP (#141663). All the papers in this set are in Navy Of Navy & Whisper White with a beautiful range of designs.

The cardstock is Night Of Navy (#106577) and Whisper White (#106549). I used Silver Foil Sheet (#132178) for the base of the flower. The flowers were cut with the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies (#142750) and glued together with the Fine-Tip Glue pen (#138309). The greeting is from the So In Love stamp set (#c143216, #w143112) and stamped with Night Of Navy Ink (#126970). A piece of DSP, a stamp and Framelit makes a quick and easy card.

Have a great day.

Falling Flowers & May Flowers Framelits Dies

Hi,

Another stamp set I haven't used for a while is the Falling Flowers stamp set (#c139556, #w139553) and the co-ordinating May Flowers Framelits Dies (#140276), which are also available in a bundle (#c142329, #w142328). This is a pretty card using pastel colours.

Firstly I embossed the Whisper White card front (#106549) with VersaMark (#102283) and White Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109132) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056).  I also stamped the flowers and leaves with VersaMark & White emboss powder on Vellum cardstock (#106584). The flowers and leaves were coloured using a Blender pen (#102845) and ink, colouring on the back of the vellum. This gives a lovely soft colour. I used Flirty Flamingo (#141397), Sweet Sugarplum (#141395) and Rose Red inks (#126954) for the larger flowers, Crushed Curry ink (#131173) for the smaller flowers and Wild Wasbi ink (#126959) for the leaves. Flirty Flamingo card (#141421) is the coloured card. The circles were cut with the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705) and the sentiment from Circle Of Spring stamp set (#p138964) was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink. I glued the leaves to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309), the pink flowers were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#103340) and the yellow flowers with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The White Perfect Accents (#138416) were added to the centre of each flower.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Birds & Blooms Thinlits

Hello again,

Framelits makes it very easy to make a beautiful card with very little effort, like this one.

I have used Whisper White card (#106549), Red Glimmer Paper (#121790) and Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate (#141653). "Birthday" is from the Number Of Years stamp set (#p140653) and stamped with Real Red ink (#126949).  I embossed the card front with the Elegant Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#138287). The circle was cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (#145372) and the bird was cut with Birds & Blooms Thinlits (#141477). "Wish" is cut with one of the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits (#141474). The circle was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) and the bird and wish were glued using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).
Have a great day.

Happy Stamping!

Butterfly Basics

Hello and welcome everyone,

Another stamp set I have dusted off today is the Butterfly Basics (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154). I often use this set for the sentiment but haven't used the other images for quite a while.

I embossed the Whisper White base card (#106549) with the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#141493). The pink card is Pink Pirouette (#116203) and the DSP is from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack (#138437). I stamped the background on the larger piece of Whisper White using an image from the Touches of Texture stamp set (#141934). All other images are from the Butterfly Basics stamp set except for the flowers which are from the Petite Petals stamp set (#c133155, #w133152). The flowers were punched with the Petite Petals punch (#133322) and the butterfly was cut with the Butterflies Thinlits (#137360). The inks used are Pink Pirouette (#126956) and Melon Mambo (#126948). The butterfly and flowers were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) and I added Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to finish the card.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Hello,

The Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#143231) has been used for the background.

I did the tarnished foil technique using the Silver Foil Sheets (#132178) which was embossed with the Hexagons TIEF. Then I rubbed the Jet Black StazOn ink (#101406) over the embossed card. Then rub with VersaMark (#102283) and add Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109131), remove excess powder, and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). Rub the card again with StazOn ink, VersaMark and this time Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder (#141636) and again heat set this. Rub again with StazOn ink. You don't need to be too fussy with this process, as its not meant to be perfect. You will get a different finish each time and depending on which way you put the foil in the embossing folder, so its fun to experiment. This was attached to Basic Black card (#121688).
The Daffodil Delight card (#121680) was cut with the Flourish Thinlits (#141478) and glued to the card front with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The flowers are stamped with Pacific Point ink (#126951) and these flowers are from the Petite Petals stamp set (#133152). The punch to co-ordinate with these flowers is the Petite Petals (#133322). The banner and Happy Birthday are from the Birthday Banners stamp set (#p141506) and stamped with Pacific Point (#126951) and Daffodil Delight ink (#126944). Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the banner and flowers to the card. I finished the card by adding silver Metallic Enamel Shapes (#141678) to the flowers and banner.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Time Of Year

Welcome to you all,

Time to dust off some products that I haven't used for a while. Thinking Of You is from the Time Of The Year stamp set (#p141790) which is one of the Hostess sets.

This was stamped with Watermelon Wonder ink (#138341) on Whisper White card (#106549). The base card is Watermelon Wonder (#138341) and I stamped on this card with VersaMark (#102283) to give just a subtle image on the card. This stamp is from the Falling Flower stamp set (#c139556, #w139553). The flower and leaves were cut with the May Flowers Framelits Dies (#140276) and I used Flirty Flamingo card (#141421) and Pool Party card (#124391). Island Indigo card (#124390) was used to mat the sentiment. The flower and leaves were glued using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309), then added the White Perfect Accents (#138416) to finish the card.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Lesley.

Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate, Glimmer Paper & Foil Sheets

Hi,

We all love a bit of glitter and sparkle don't we! I have used Glimmer Paper, Foil Sheets and Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate on today's card. The butterflies and border piece were left overs from another project, so makes it a quick and easy card. I think you know I love butterflies and always seem to have some extras around.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and I attached the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate to this. This acetate sheet has gold on one side and silver on the reverse, so very versatile. I used the silver side. I added small dots of glue from the Fine Tip Glue Pen (#138309) on the dots around the edge of the acetate so there is no obvious signs of tape or glue. The larger butterfly was cut from Silver Foil Sheets (#132178) using the Butterflies Thinlits (#137360) and I used Silver Glimmer Paper (#135314) for the smaller butterfly and this was cut with the Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135). These were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I added 2 Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) to the butterfly. The framelit to cut the border piece was from the Flourish Thinlits (#141478). Thanks To You is from the Beautiful Banners stamp set (#c141894) and heat embossed with VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109131). One of the framelits from Tags & Labels Framelits (#138282) was used to cut the greeting and I sponged the edges with Smokey Slate ink (#131179), then used Stampin' Dimensionals (104430) to attach this to the card.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Inside The Lines DSP

Hello,

I hope you all got the Inside the Lines DSP from Sale-a-ration which has now finished. That's what I have used on this card, howerever any Designer Series Paper would be suitable.

The base card is Basic Black (#121688) and I taped the DSP onto the Crushed Curry card (#131288). I cut the DSP with one of the squares from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (#145372). The sentiment is from the Avant Garden stamp set (also from SAB) and stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#131173). I stamped the bee from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set (#p142924) on Crushed Curry card using Jet Black StazOn ink (#101406), then cut the bee with the framelit from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies (#142749). The square with the sentiment and the bee were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

I also decorated inside the card. Must do this more often. The sentiment and flowers are also from the Avant Garden set. The sentiment was stamped with Crushed Curry ink and the flowers with So Saffron (#126957). The bees were stamped with Jet Black StazOn and using the stamping off method. The finished size for this card is 13x13cm.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!
