Animal Outing Bundle

Hello again friends,

Another very cute card using the Animal Outing Bundle (#c148324, #w148323). 

The base card is Lovely Lipstick (#146993) and the other cardstock is Gray Granite (#147008), Shaded Spruce (#147006) and Whisper White (#106549). The hippo is from the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper (#146902) and cut with the co-ordinating die from the Animal Friends Thinlits Dies (#146823). This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves under the hippo are also cut with a die from the same set. Happy Birthday is from the Detailed With Love stamp set (#c146606, #w146603) and stamped with Shaded Spruce ink (#147088). I stamped the leaves from the Animal Outing stamp set (#c146600, #w146597) and there is also a die to cut this. The banner is cut with the Banner Triple punch (#138292). 

I used the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897) to add some glitter to the shaded areas of the Hippo. Don’t think it has shown up very much on the photo.

Animal Outing

Hello again,

The Animal Outing stamp set (#c146600, #w146597) is so cute. It includes a kangaroo and koala, as well as a giraffe and hippo. However, the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper (#146902) has the same images on some of the papers which can be cut with the Animal Friends Thinlits Dies (#146823), and that’s what I have used here for the kangaroo and koala.

The base card is Grapefruit Grove (#146995). The Soft Sea Foam card front (#147012) has been embossed with the Subtle 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#143706). This gives a lovely subtle texture to the card. The Designer Series Paper with the leaves is also from the Animal Expedition DSP. The Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372) were used to cut the circle then attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Happy Birthday is from the Birthday Banners stamp set (#p141506) and stamped with Grapefruit Grove ink (#147142) and cut with a die from the Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488). The beautiful Copper accent strip is from the Tea Room Copper Vinyl Stickers (#146314). I added some glitter to the Kangaroo & Koala using the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897).

Big Shot Embossing Mat

Hello,

 I am just loving the new Big Shot Embossing Mat (#146327) as it allows you to turn any detailed framelit into embossing, and don’t you love it when you have multiple uses for a product?

I used the Detailed Floral Thinlits (#141482) to emboss the Petal Pink card (#147009). The other cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Calypso Coral (#124392). The strip down the left side is from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (#146907) and the Doilie is a Pearlised Doilie (#146936). On top of this is a piece of Calypso Coral card punched with the Starburst punch (#143717). The sentiment is from the Painted Glass stamp set (#c147461, #w147458) and stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#147101). This was punched with the Everyday Label punch (#144668). The ribbon is Whisper White 5/8” Polka Dot Tulle ribbon (#146912). 

Due to other commitments over the next 6 weeks, I won’t be able to show you a card everyday, but will do as often as possible.

Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper

Hello everyone,

The Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper (#146907) is just gorgeous. These are delicately detailed laser cut sheets which are Very Vanilla on one side and White on the other. There are various designs great for both cards and scrapbooking.

I glued this to the Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I find the best way to add the glue to these very detailed pieces is the use the glue on a sponge and dab onto the back of the paper. The sentiment, butterfly and flower are all images from the Painted Glass stamp set (#c147461, #w147458) and stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). I coloured the flower and butterfly with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Combo pack (#144603), Light Old Olive (#144574) and Dark Crumb Cake (#144581). I punched the sentiment with the Pretty Label punch (#143715), as well as the Crushed Curry card (#131288) which I cut in half and attached to the back of the sentiment. The sentiment, butterfly and flower were all attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper

Hello and welcome,

I love this beautiful Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper (#146338) but I decided I would jazz it up by heat embossing some extra leaves on it to add some texture and glimmer.

I embossed the leaves with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#141636) using the leaves from the Rooted In Nature stamp set (#c146482, #w146479). Thinking of you is also from this stamp set and also used the Copper Emboss Powder. I cut this and the scalloped circle using dies from the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705). The cardstock used is Grapefruit Grove (#146995), Mint Macaron (#138344) and Whisper White (#106549). The Mint Macaron from Nature’s Twine (#146342) was wrapped around the cardfront and tied into a bow. There are 4 colours included in this set - Blackberry Bliss, Crumb Cake, Grapefruit Grove and Mint Macaron. I attached the cardfront with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and also attached the sentiment with Dimensionals. 

I always say, you don’t need to do a lot when you have such beautiful Designer Series Paper to use, and don’t you just love the new colours!!

Accented Blooms

There are some stamp sets which as soon as you see them you just know you want them. The Accented Blooms (#c146681, #w146678) is one of those for me, as well as many others in the new catalogue.

The embossing on the Calypso Coral base card (#124392) is done with the Big Shot Embossing Mat (#146327) - yes, I do love this mat. I used the die from the Petals & More Thinlits (#145655) - yes another favourite. The floral image was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I coloured this with Stampin’ Blends - Calypso Coral Combo Pack (#144045), Daffodil Delight Combo Pack (#144603), Rich Razzleberry Combo Pack (#144602), Pink Pirouette (now retired) and Old Olive Combo Pack (#144597). You can purchase the blends individually or the Combo packs include light and dark of each colour. The sentiment is stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#147101) and punched with the Tailored Tag punch (#145667). I also punched a piece of Old Olive card (#106576) and placed it under the sentiment and attached this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I also cut 2 square using a die from the Layering Squares Framelits (#141708) and placed this under the Whisper White square and attached this to the base card. I coloured the silver leaf from the Leaves Trinkets (#146343) using the Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. Unfortunately this doesn’t show very well in this photo. I attached this with a Mini Glue Dot (#103683).
