Ornate Garden Suite

Hello Ladies & Guys,

Over the last few weeks I have made some cards using the Ornate Garden Suite. This is now available to purchase and is a sneak peek from the Annual catalogue which will be available in the next couple of months. You can purchase the whole suite or individual products. Today’s card is using some of the beautiful products from this suite.

I embossed the card front with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (#152725), then attached this to the Whisper White base card (#106549). The Designer Series Paper is Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper (#152488). Some of the sheets have Gold Foil Designs like this one on the card. The sentiment is from the Painted Glass stamp set (#c148220) and stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was then punched with the Label Me Lovely punch (#151296). After punching the top of the sentiment I then re-inserted the sentiment into the punch to punch the bottom part to make the punched piece smaller. A Gilded Gem (#152478) was placed under the sentiment.

Sea Of Textures with Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack

Welcome friends,

I have used one of the beautiful laser-cut cards from the Come Sail Away Memories & More (#149552) for the card front.

I attached this to the Seaside Spray base card (#150889) using the Fine -Tip Glue Pen (#138309). I stamped the octopus from the Sea Of Textures stamp set (#c151267) using Night Of Navy ink (#147110). This was then cut with the co-ordinating die from Under The Sea Dies (#146334), then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). “Happy Birthday” is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set (#c151240) and also stamped with Night Of Navy ink on Whisper White card (#106549). I cut this with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#148551). I used Night Of Navy card (#106577) for the banners under the sentiment.

With beautiful products it doesn’t take a lot of work to get a lovely card like this one.

Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack

Hi again,

Another quick and easy card this time using the Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack (#149552).

This card pack consists of double sided printed cards - 2 each of 25 designs in 2 sizes. There are also single sided laser-cut specialty cards and 4 sticker sheets. This pack is very convenient for a great masculine card as well as scrapbooking.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549). I attached 2 of the smaller design cards to Night Of Navy card (#106577) before attaching to the base card. “Celebrate”, the anchor, compass and the chevrons are all stickers from the pack, so you couldn’t make an easier card than this.

Double Z Fold card

Hello friends,

Today’s card is the same style as yesterday’s but using different Designer Series Paper and dies for the card front, so all the measurements are the same, so check out yesterday’s post for these

The cardstock is Night Of  Navy (#106577), So Saffron (#108611), Whisper White (#106549) and the Designer Series Paper is Pressed Petals Specialty DSP (#149500). I embossed the So Saffron card front with the Stone 3D Embossing Folder which is part of the Power Of Hope Bundle (#152318) from Sale-a-bration. The sentiment is from Woven Heirlooms stamp set (#c149306) and stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110). This was cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (#151690) and attached to the Night Of Navy card which was cut with a die from the Ornate Layers dies (#152726). I attached this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

3 years ago I started painting our house (inside) and never finished it as I didn't have time. Well I no longer have that excuse with self isolation, so today I started painting again. That is only the first job on a very long list of jobs to do during these “quieter” times. Cards & scrapbooking will also be a priority, so a good mix of things to keep my mind active, which is very important.

Butterfly Beauty Dies

Hi & welcome friends,

I was asked to design a card using the Butterfly Beauty Dies (#148536) with Night Of Navy, silver and white, so decided the double Z fold card would work well.

I cut the Night Of Navy card (#106577) 28cm x 21cm and scored on the long side at 7cm and 14 cm. The Designer Series Paper is from the Flowering Foils Specialty DSP (#152312). 2 pieces were cut 20cm x 6cm and the 3rd piece is 20 x 13cm. The size of the Whisper White card (#106549) is 23.5cm x 16cm and scored along the long side also at 7cm and 14cm. Notice that the larger piece is on the right for the base card and on the left for the Whisper White card. The butterflies were cut using the Butterfly Beauty dies and I used Night Of Navy card and Silver Foil Sheet (#132178). These were glued with the Fine-Tip Glue pen (#138309). Happy Birthday is from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set (#152729) and I stamped this with Night Of Navy ink (#147110). The circles were cut with the Layering Circles Dies (#141705) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The stamped butterfly is from the Beauty Abounds stamp set (#c148726) and also stamped with Night Of Navy ink.

Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack

Welcome,

Today I wanted to show you how easy it is to make a quick and easy card with the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack (#149554). This pack includes 50 (total) double sided cards (2 each of 25 designs) in 2 different sizes, 6 - single sided printed vellum specialty cards and 4 sticker sheets which include sentiments, flowers, leaves, borders and tags.

I have combined these with the Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (#149487). These Kraft cards have white foil accents as well as a liner for the envelope, so these products combined make cardmaking so easy. The Memories & More cards are also great for scrapbooking pages.

The background card is 6”x4” so fits perfectly on the base card and the smaller card is 3”x4”. This card has the sentiment and the brown images printed on it. I added the other 2 leaf images which are stickers. The border along the bottom of the card is also a sticker.

Of course you could add your own stamped images or embellishments, but I just wanted to use the products provided in the pack.

Well Dressed

Hello,

Time for a masculine card using the Well Dressed stamp set (#152300) which is a free product from Sale-A-Bration, and ends on 31st March.

The Designer Series Paper is from the Country Club DSP (#151314) and that was attached to Real Red card (#106578). The base card is Night Of Navy (#106577). I cut the Whisper White card (#106549) with a Stitched So Sweetly Die (#151690). Happy Birthday is from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set (#145729) and stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110). The umbrellas were stamped with Smokey Slate ink (#147113) and Real Red ink (#147084) and these were fussy cut. The hat was stamped with Night Of Navy (#147110) and this was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I added the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) to the card.

Stampin’ Blends with Designer Series Paper

Hi again everyone,

I have another variation for colouring the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (#152312) from Sale-A-Bration.

I have decided on this card just to highlight one flower, so have coloured it with the Light Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends (#147026) and added a Noble Peacock Rhinestone (#149494) to the flower centre. The DSP was attached to the Lovely Lipstick base card (#146993). I also cut the fancy border under the sentiment with an Ornate Borders Die (#152724). The sentiment which is from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set (#151490) was stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink (#147140) and cut with a die from the Stitched Rectangles (#148551). This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

More Colouring of Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hi Ladies & Guys,

On today’s card I have coloured the flowers from the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (#152312), which gives a different look to when the background was coloured in a card a few days ago.

I coloured the flowers with a variety of Stampin’ Blends. The colours include Light Blackberry Bliss (#147909), Light Highland Heather (#146881), Dark So Saffron (#149556), Dark Mango Melody (#147944), Dark Petal Pink (#146871), Dark Flirty Flamingo (#147032) and Light Poppy Parade (#146878). The sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set (#151497) was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink (#147092). The Whisper White card and the Blackberry Bliss card were cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (#151690). These were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The ribbon under the sentiment is Purple Posy 1/2” Scalloped Linen Ribbon (#149708), and I added some of the Rose Metallic Thread (#146915) near the sentiment.

So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hello and welcome,

Another gorgeous paper from Sale-A-Bration is the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper (#152313). There are 3 different colours of vellum - Pool Party, Purple Posy and Soft Sea Foam- all with an embossed design. I have used Purple Posy on this card.

I attached the vellum to the Purple Posy base card (#150887). I stamped the daisies with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Whisper White card (#106549), then fussy cut the flowers. These flowers are from the Ornate Style stamp set (#c152572). I coloured the flowers with Stampin’ Blends - Highland Heather combo (#147276), Dark Soft Sea Foam (#148058), Dark Mango Melody (#147944). The sentiment is from Grace’s Garden stamp set (#151513) and I used Highland Heather ink (#147103). The die to cut this is from the Stitched So Sweetly dies (#151690). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment and flowers to the card. The leaves from Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) were cut with the Birthday Dies (#153590). The Highland Heather card (#147010) swirl was cut with a Butterfly Beauty Die (#148536). Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) were added to the sentiment.

Colouring Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper

Welcome friends,

Today I am colouring the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (#152312) from Sale-A-Bration using Stampin’ Blends.

On this beautiful paper with the small flowers I have coloured the white background with Light Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blend (#149567) and have left the flowers without colouring. This was then attached to the Seaside Spray card (#150889). I cut another piece of the Seaside Spray card using one of the borders from the Ornate Borders Dies (#152724), then turned it around and cut it a second time to make the strip. I then attached the Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon (#150446) to this. The sentiment is from the Timeless Tropical stamp set (#c151497) and stamped with Seaside Spray ink (#150085). This Whisper White card (#106549) and the Seaside Spray card were both cut with Stitched So Sweetly dies (#151690), then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#151193).

A lovely simple card, and even the colouring with the Stampin’ Blends is simple.

Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper

The Designer Series Paper is the beautiful Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (#152312) which is part of the 2nd release of Sale-A-Bration.

I brayered the DSP using Seaside Spray ink (#150889), Balmy Blue ink (#147007) and Blueberry Bushel ink (#146991). This was then attached to the Blueberry Bushel card (#147138) and then attached to the Whisper White base card (#106549). “Thanks” is from the Ornate Thanks Stamp set (#p149471) and stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink. I used a die from the Ornate Layers Dies (#152726) to cut the sentiment and attached this to a piece of Blueberry Bushel card which was cut with an Ornate Border Die (#152724). The butterflies are cut with a die from the Butterfly Beauty Dies (#148536) using Blueberry Bushel card and Whisper White card. Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) were used to attach the butterfly to the card, then I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) to the butterfly and sentiment.

Ornate Garden Suite

Again I am using products from the Ornate Garden Suite. There are so many to choose from.

The base card is Blueberry Bushel (#146991) and the card front is Whisper White (#106549). The Ornate Borders Dies (#152724) was used to cut the right side of the white card. I then embossed the rest of the card with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (#152725). The ribbon is Seaside Spray 1/4” Metallic Ribbon (#150446). The sentiment is from Painted Glass stamp set (#147461) and stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). This was cut with a Stitched So Sweetly Die (#151690) and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I stamped 3 small flowers from the Ornate Style stamp set (#152572) and fussy cut them and added Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) to the centre of the flowers.

Ornate Style stamp set

These gorgeous flowers are from the Ornate Style stamp set (#c152572) which will be available in April, as a pre-release from the Annual catalogue.

I stamped the flowers with VersaMark (#102283) onto Whisper White card (#106549). Then I embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). The Whisper White card, the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and the sentiment were cut with Stitched Rectangles Dies (#148551). The Designer Series Paper is from the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper (#152488). “Your amazing” is from the Ornate Thanks stamp set (#149471) and stamped with Old Olive ink (#147090). The ribbon is from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo pack (#152479) and the embellishments are Gilded Gems (#152478). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment and also to attach the Gold Foil to the DSP.

Ornate Thanks Bundle

It’s been a bit hectic around here recently and haven’t had time to do any crafting, but was excited today when I received my order with some gorgeous new products to play with. The Ornate Garden Suite is an early release from the new Annual catalogue coming out in the next couple of months. This suite will be available to purchase from 1st April.

I have used one of the beautiful borders from the Ornate Borders Dies (#152724) to cut the Whisper White card front (#106549). I stamped “for everything” from the Ornate Thanks stamp set (#p149471) with Mint Macaron ink (#147106). Then I embossed this with the Subtle 3D embossing folder (#151775). “Thanks” from the same set was stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#147101) and cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#148551), then attached with Stampin Dimensionals (#104430). The flowers are from the gorgeous Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (#152312) which is a free product from the second release Sale-a-bration. I fussy cut the flowers then coloured them using sponge daubers (#133773) with Mint Macaron ink and Coral Calypso ink. This DSP has Rose Gold Foil and Silver Foil in 4 different designs and it is easy to colour with your favourite colouring tools. The base card is Mint Macaron (#138344).

Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper

I love the elegance of the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper (#151192) which I have used on today’s  card.

This designer paper also co-ordinates beautifully with the Forever Blossoms stamp set (#151457). The stamped flowers and leaves are from this stamp set. I stamped the flowers & leaves with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and coloured them with Stampin’ Blends. I used Petal Pink Combo (#147272) for the flowers and Pool Party Combo (#144605) for the leaves. I cut the Petal Pink card (#147009) and the designer paper with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (#151690). I wrapped the Whisper White 1/4” Crinkled Seam Binding (#151326) around the cut rectangles. “Happy Birthday” from the By The Dock stamp set (#151622) was also stamped with the Tuxedo Black Memento ink, on Whisper White card (#106549), then cut with a Stitched So Sweetly Die. The edges were sponged with Petal Pink ink (#147108). The flowers were cut with dies from the Cherry Blossoms Dies (#151456). The flowers and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I used Mini Glue Dots  (#103683) for the leaves. The base card is Whisper White and the embellishments I added are from the Iridescent Sequins Assortment ((#144212).

Natures Thoughts Dies

Hello & Welcome,

A very simple card using the beautiful feathers cut with a die from the Natures Thoughts Dies (#153586).

The feathers were cut from Seaside Spray card (#150889) and I sponged the edges with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). “Best Wishes” is from the Botanical Bliss stamp set (#c151284) and stamped with Blueberry Bliss ink. This was cut with a Layering Ovals Die (#141708) The Silver Foil Sheet was embossed with the Stone 3D Embossing Folder. This is part of the Power Of Hope Bundle (152318) from Sale-A-Bration. The Blueberry Bushel card was cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#148551). The base card is Whisper White (#106549).
