Trucking Along

 Hello friends,

As tomorrow is Father’s Day in Australia, I thought I would make a Father’s Day card for hubby. He loves his cars, and when we first met he owned a ute, so decided the truck from the Trucking Along stamp set (#162299) would be great for him.

I stamped the truck with VersaMark (#102283) onto one of the designs of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393). This gives a bit of an old rusty look. I used the Copper from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). The Trucking Along Builder Punch (#162305) was used to punch the truck.

I dry embossed the Basic White card (#159228) with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder  (#154317). I then added some colour with a Blending Brush (#153611) and Pecan Pie ink (#161665), just behind where I was attaching the truck. This card and the DSP also from the Country Woods DSP, was partly matted with Pecan Pie card (#161726). These were taped to the Basic White base card.

“Happiest Father’s Day” is from the Adventurous Sky stamp set (#163439) and also Copper embossed. A Something Fancy die (#160424) was used to cut the sentiment. I used a Stylish Shapes die (#159183) to cut the Pecan Pie card which I attached to the sentiment. The sentiment and the truck were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The retired Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds were added to the card.

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads!!

Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper

 Hello friends,

I always say that you can make a beautiful quick and easy card when you have beautiful DSP like the Thoughtful Journey 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#163303).

I have used 2 of the designs from this DSP and they were matted with Night Of Navy card (#106577), then attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

I cut the trees with a die from the Encircled In Nature dies (#162628) from Night Of Navy card backed with Adhesive Sheets (#152334). The trees were attached to the card.

The sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set (#162283) was stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110). This was cut with a Nested Essentials die (#161597). After cutting this, I re-positioned the die to cut the top off to make it smaller. Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the sentiment to the card. The birds from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743).

Shepherd’s Care

 Hi & welcome,

I can’t believe I have already made some Christmas cards using products from the Mini catalogue which is available to order from on 4th September, so not long to wait. Today I have used the Shepherd's Care Stamp set (#164300).

I stamped the image of the shepherd with VersaMark (#102283) on Very Vanilla card (#106550). I then embossed it with the Gold powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then fussy cut the image.

I dry embossed a piece of Very Vanilla card with the Timeworn Type embossing folder which I have just realised is retired. I attached a piece of the Season Of Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper (#164144) to the Very Vanilla card and matted it with Pretty Peacock card (#150886).

The sentiment from the Sentimental Wishes stamp set (#164210) was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink (#150083). The Bethlehem scene also from the Shepherd’s Care stamp set, was stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#147116). The sentiment and the Pretty Peacock card under this were cut with a Greetings Of The Season die (#164112) and taped to the card. The shepherd was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Inspirational Sketches

 Welcome everyone,

The bird & flowers on today’s card are from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set (#162684).

The bird was stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110) and the flowers with Crushed Curry ink (#147087). Both these images were fussy cut (there aren’t any dies to cut them).

I dry embossed Basic White card (#159228) with the Eyelet Embossing Folder (#163414), then cut 1.5” squares and attached them to the Silver Foil card (#163387). This was matted with Night Of Navy card (#106577) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The flowers were taped to the card and I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the bird.

“Happy Birthday” from the Translucent Florals Stamp set (#162243) was stamped with Night Of Navy ink. The sentiment and the Night Of Navy card under the sentiment were cut with Stylish Shapes dies (#159183) and attached to the card with Mini Stampn’ Dimensionals (#144108). The embellishments are Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems (#161288).

Winterly Tree Tops Bundle

 Hi friends,

Here is a sneak peek of one of the new products in the upcoming mini catalogue. I have used the Winterly Tree Tops Bundle (#164066) which includes the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set (#164184) and the Winterly Tree Tops Dies (#164065).

The birds from the stamp set were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). The Stampin’ Blends to colour this image are Daffodil Delight (#154883), Crumb Cake (#154882), Poppy Parade (#154958), Pecan Pie (#161674) & Pumpkin Pie (#154897). I added some glimmer to parts of the birds using the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).

The birds and the leafy border were cut with the Winterly Tree Tops dies. I used Garden Green card (#108605) for the border and this was attached to the Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) which was dry embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder (#156406). The card front was then attached to the Basic White base card.

“Happy Birthday” from the Translucent Florals stamp set (#162243) was stamped with Poppy Parade ink (#147050), then cut with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183). The sentiment and birds were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The Nests Of Winter Designer Series Paper (#164183) also co-ordinates with this bundle. Some of the dies will cut some images from the DSP (which I love).

Sketched Butterflies

 Hello friends,

I have used 2 of my favourites today - butterflies and purple. I hope you can see this photo ok, as I had a lot of trouble trying to photograph it.

I stamped the 3 butterflies from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set (#163490) using VersaMark (#102283) and embossed them with Silver from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678). I used Gorgeous Grape card (#147011), Highland Heather card (#147010) and Fresh Freesia card (#155614) for the butterflies. These were set with the Heat Tool (#129056). These 3 butterflies and the Silver Foil (163387) butterfly were cut with the Sketched Butterflies dies (#163491). This stamp set & dies are also available in a bundle - the Sketched Butterflies Bundle (#163492). All bundles have a 10% saving.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099). The labels for the sentiment were cut with Something Fancy dies (#160424). I punched the slots in the white label from the retired Very Best Trio punch to allow me to thread the ribbon and trim through. I have used the Silver from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack (#161633) and the Silver from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766). I attached the sentiment to the Gorgeous Grape card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430)

Using a Blending Brush (#153611) with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611), I added some colour to the background on the Basic White card front (#159228). This was dry embossed with the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder (#164049). This folder will be available from 4th September in the upcoming Mini Catalogue, along with a great variety of new products, especially Christmas products. The white card front was matted with Gorgeous Grape card and attached to the Basic White base card.

The stamped butterflies were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The silver foil butterfly was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). I couldn’t go past the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems (#162611) to finish this card.

Inspirational Sketches

 Hi again,

We have birds building a nest in a tree just outside our kitchen window so that was my inspiration for today’s card.

I cut the circle with a die from the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580). I used a retired decorative mask and applied Crumb Cake ink (#147116) with a Blending Brush (#153611). I then stamped the nest from the Everyday Details stamp set (#162861) with Early Espresso ink (#147114).

The bird from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set (#162684) was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). The bird was then fussy cut.

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing folder (#156406). The strip of DSP from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393) was taped to the card front, then this was matted with Early Espresso card (#121686).

“Happy Birthday” from the Garden Meadow stamp set (#162736) was stamped with Early Espresso ink and cut with a Something Fancy die (#160424).

The circle & bird were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

 Hello & welcome,

I am back from my short holiday and straight back into classes, so very busy again. For today’s card I have used the Wild Ferns stamp set (#162648) and Wild Ferns dies (#162654).

I used a retired decorative mask and Blending Brush (#153611) with Pecan Pie ink (#161665) to create the  background on the Very Vanilla card (#106550). I then stamped a fern from the Wild Ferns stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink (#147111). I dry embossed this card with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406). I attached this to a piece of Mossy Meadow card (#133683). I wrapped a piece of retired ribbon around the card.

I dry embossed another piece of Very Vanilla card with the So Swirly Embossing Folder (#163791), daubered the edges with Mossy Meadow ink and attached it to the Very Vanilla base card.

I attached the smaller card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). “Just For You” from the So Sincere stamp set (#162283) was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and cut with a Deckled Circles die (#162286).

The leaves from the Wild Ferns stamp set were stamped with Old Olive ink (#147090) and cut with a co-ordinating Wild Ferns die. The leaves & sentiment were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The DSP and the Mossy Meadow card (#133683) were cut with the Countryside Corners dies (#161471).

The Mossy Meadow card was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set (#163305) were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and coloured with Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends (#154890) and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883). The co-ordinating Thoughtful Wishes die (#163313) was used to cut the leaves. I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach it to the card.

“Happy Birthday” from Garden Meadow stamp set (#162736) was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111), then cut with a Happy Little Things die (#163709). Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) were used to attach this to the card. The Opal Rounds Assortment (#163298) were added to the card.

Full Of Life Designer Series Paper

 Hello again my friends,

For this bright & cheery card I have used the Full Of Life 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#163357).

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with a Fun Patterns Embossing Folder (#163790). I attached a piece of the Full Of Fun DSP on the side, then matted the card front with Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) and attached it to the Basic White base card.

I cut the square from the same DSP with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183), then matted this with Blueberry Bushel card.

“ Celebrate” was cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594) using Blueberry Bushel card for the background and the white Glimmer from the Berry Burst, Old Olive & White Glimmer Paper (#163769). The embellishments are from the Tinsel Gems 4 Pack (#161623).

Thoughtful Journey

 Hello friends,

So Swirly Embossing Folder

 Welcome again,

I have made my own “designer paper” for the background of this card, using the So Swirly Embossing Folder (#163791) and heat embossing with Gold Wow! Embossing powder (#165678).

I added VersaMark (#102283) to the inside of the front of the embossing folder, then embossed a piece of Very Vanilla card (#106550). I added the Gold embossing powder to the card and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). As this is a large embossing folder I used a piece of card the same size as the folder so I had plenty of area to punch the pieces with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch (#162888).

I attached the punched pieces to a piece of Basic Black card (#121688) measuring 9x13.4cm. The hexagons overlapping the edges were cut off level to the black card. I then used another piece of Basic Black card measuring 9.5cmx13.9cm to matt the card. I found this the easiest way to get the edges cut evenly and still have the black all the way around the outside. The cardfront was then attached to the Very Vanilla base card.

The flower from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set (#161140) and the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set (#161290) were stamped with Real Red ink (#147084). I did this with the Stamparatus. After cleaning the stamp and not moving the card or stamp, I re-inked with VersaMark, then added Clear Wow! Embossing Powder (#165679). This was set with the Heat Tool.

The leaves from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set were stamped and embossed in the same way, using Pretty Peacock ink (#150083) and Lost Lagoon ink (#161678). The flower and leaves were cut with the Irresistible Blooms dies (#161149).

The sentiment was cut with a Cheerful Daisies die (#161296). The flower, sentiment and Pretty Peacock leaves were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach the Lost Lagoon leaves.

Layers Of Beauty

 Hi again friends,

The Layers Of Beauty Bundle (#163519) consists of the Layers Of Beauty stamp set (#163514), Layers Of Beauty dies (#163518) and the Layers Of Beauty Decorative Masks (#163517) and are all used for todays card.

The floral image was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Very Vanilla card (#106550). I added the colour using the masks and Blending Brushes (#153611). The inks are Peach Pie (#163810), Coastal Cabana (#147097) and Daffodil Delight (#147094). I very lightly coloured the first layer for the lighter shade then added more colour of same ink to get the darker colour. The image was then cut with the co-ordinating die.

For the card front I attached a piece of the white patterned vellum from the Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper (#164118) to the Peach Pie card (#163800). I wrapped the Peach Pie 3/8” Bordered Ribbon (#163783) around the card front, then attached it to the Very Vanilla base card.

The sentiment from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set (#163490) was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097) and cut with a Nested Essentials die (#161597).

The floral image and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the flowers. The small leaves cut with the Layers Of Beauty Dies and using Coastal Cabana card (#131302), backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) were attached to the card. The embellishments are Adhesive-Backed Dappled Dots (#163353).

Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes

 Hello friends,

The Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes (#162177) are perfect for a special card.

The bird from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set (#162684) was stamped with Poppy Parade ink (#147050) onto Basic White card (#159228). This was cut with a die from the Nested Essentials dies (#161597). I used Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) for the gold frame using 2 sizes of the Nested Essentials dies. I taped the frame to the bird image.

The beautiful leaf was cut from the white from the Berry Burst, Old Olive and White Glimmer Paper (163769), using a Thoughtful Wishes Die (#163313). I attached this to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The sentiment is from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) and I used Poppy Parade ink. A Nested Essentials die was used to cut this.

I used Gold Foil Sheet for the 85 which was cut with an electronic cutter. The sentiment, bird & numbers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) & Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The Iridescent Faceted Gems (#163368) were added to finish the card.
