Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape

 Hi again,

These flowers & leaves are from the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape (#165269).

There are 2 colours of flowers on this Washi tape. For this card I used the purple colours and attached it to Fresh Freesia card (#155614) so it gives a purple edge which I wanted. This was cut with the Extraordinary Flora die (#165244). This one die cuts the flowers & leaves all at one time.

The Gold edged label is from the Foiled Frames & Labels Ephemera Pack (#165616). The sentiment is from the Extraordinary Flora stamp set (#165243) and I stamped it with Petunia Pop ink (#163811). I cut it with the More Messages die (#165472).

The Fresh Freesia card for the card front was dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (#161600), then matted with Petunia Pop card (#163802). This was attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The flowers & leaves were attached to the label with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used for the sentiment.

The beautiful gold Flower Accents (#165171) were added to the card. I added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the flowers.

Party Alphabet dies

 Hi friends,

Another easy card using the Party Alphabet dies (#165263). These dies are quite large - 7.5cm (2-15/16”) high. I am loving them for both cards & scrapbooking. They do come separately or in a bundle with the Party Banners dies (165264) and the bundle is the Party Dies Bundle (#165265).

I cut the letters from Real Red card (#106578). I dry embossed them with the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder (#165496). I actually used the waves part of the folder but rather than have the waves horizontal on the letters I had them vertical, and they don't look like waves.

The Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393) was double matted with Secret Sea card (#165296) and Real Red card. This was then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

“You” is from the Layered Thoughts stamp set (#165346). This was stamped with Real Red ink (#147084) then cut with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183).

The letters were taped to the card and “you” was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) were added to the card. I arranged the letters so they would fit a normal size card.

Sunrise Sailing Bundle

 Hi & welcome,

A masculine card today using the Sunrise Sailing Bundle (#165497). This bundle consists of the Sunrise Sailing stamp set (#165491) and the Sunrise Sailing dies (#165496).

I stamped the yacht with VersaMark (#102283) and added the silver powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). I then stamped Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138) to the sails, using the stamping off method to achieve a lighter colour. A Sunrise Sailing die was used to cut the yacht.

The DSP is from the Splendid Autumn 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#164173). The strips were attached to a piece of Silver Foil Sheet (#163387). This was attached to the Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) that was dry embossed with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder (#164695) and attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

“Best Wishes” is also from the stamp set and I used a die from the Textured Notes (#1655555) to cut the sentiment. The yacht and sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The birds were cut with a die from the Sunrise Sailing dies using Silver Foil backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

Party Alphabet dies

 Hello again,

This card would be a great masculine card but easily changed to a feminine card by using different colours & Designer Series Papers.

I cut the letters with the Party Alphabet Dies (#165263) using Basic Black card (#121688) and Real Red card (#106578). I taped the black letters to the red letters with a slight offset to give a shadow effect.

A design from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393) was matted wth Real Red card then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

Below the “H” & “A”, I have used a design from the Metallic Textures Rub-Ons (#165270). The pack of  Rub-Ons includes both Silver & Gold. I used silver.

“Birthday” is from the Layered Thoughts stamp set (#165346). This stamp does include “Happy” but I only wanted “Birthday”. So when I inked the stamp with Real Red ink (#147084), I covered Happy with a post it note, added the ink, removed the post it note and stamped “Birthday” onto Basic White card.

I used a Textured Notes Die (#165555) to cut the sentiment. To cut this the correct size I used a larger die to cut 2 sides, then repositioned the die to cut the other 2 sides.

The letters & “birthday” were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Nests Of Winter Designer Series Paper

 Hi friends,

I fussy cut these birds from the Nests Of Winter Specialty Designer Series Paper (#164183).

The card front is the Cloud Cover from the Flower Garden Foils 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#165511). This pack includes Pretty In Pink & Strawberry Slush colours with 2 different designs in each colour. I wrapped the retired Metallic Edge Ribbon around the card front, then attached it to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I used 2 of the smaller banners from the Party Banners dies (#165264) to cut the Strawberry Slush Foil and Basic White card. I dry embossed the white banners with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder (#165614). I taped the white banners to the Strawberry Slush banners, then these were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The birds were attached on top with Mini Stampin’ Dimensioanls (#144108).

The sentiment is from the Blooming Phrases stamp set (#165523). These are 2 separate stamps, each with the “tail”. So when I inked “Happy” I avoided inking the tail, then I stamped “birthday” so it looked like one stamp. This was stamped with Strawberry Slush ink (#165286). A Beautiful Butterflies die (#164614) was used to cut the sentiment. This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Embellishemnts are from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems (#165615).

Mixed Florals

 Hello & welcome,

I have used the Mixed Florals Bundle (#164642) for these flowers. The bundle consists of the Mixed Florals stamp set (#164639) and the Mixed Florals dies (#164641).

I stamped the flowers with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#166781). I coloured this with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883), Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends (#154958), Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends (#161682) and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends (#154882). This was cut with the dies.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front with the Joined Together 3D Embossing Folders (#165170), then matted it with the Poppy Parade card 121694). This was attached to the Basic White base card. A strip of the Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper (#165524) was attached to the card front. The circles of  Poppy Parade card and Basic White card were cut with the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580).

“Happy Birthday” from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) was stamped with Poppy Parade ink (#147050) and also cut with a Spotlight On Nature die.

The flowers & sentiment were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The dragonfly embellishments from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743) were added to finish the card.

Lifetime Of Love

 Hello again friends,

These flowers & leaves are from the Lifetime Of Love stamp set (#162574).

I stamped the flowers & leaves with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#166781). The Stampin’ Blends to colour these are Daffodil Delight (#154883), Granny Apple Green (#154885) and Crumb Cake (#154882). These were cut with the co-ordinating Lifetime Of Love dies (#162583).

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with one of the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folders (#165597). There are 2 folders in this set and are the smaller ones that fit through the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Embossing Machine (#150673). This card was matted with Crushed Curry card (#131288) and then attached to the Basic White base card.

The leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#152334) and then flowers with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Happy Birthday” from Simply Said stamp set (#163756) was stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#147087) and cut with a Beautiful Butterflies die (#164614). This was also attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The butterflies are from the Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136).

Peace On Earth Bundle

 Hi friends,

Today, demonstrators around the world joined together for “Creativity Now”, an online cardmaking day. We used products which will be available in the Mini Catalogue in September. (I can’t believe we are already talking about September).

This card today is made from some of the products. I needed a Sympathy card and the Peace On Earth Bundle (#165925) and Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder (#165928) were perfect for it.

For this card I used a full size A4 size Basic White card (#166781) and folded it in half. I dry embossed another piece of Basic White card with the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder (#165928). This card was matted with Silver Foil Sheet (#163387) and taped to the base card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Peace On Earth stamp set (#165918) with VersaMark (#102283) and used the Silver from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The sentiment and the silver foil were cut with the label dies from the Peace On Earth dies (#165924). I taped these labels together and attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The dove is also cut with a die from the same die set using Silver Foil. The cross is cut from long retired Cross Of Hope dies.

This card is simple but elegant, just what I like for a sympathy card.

Another Simple Scrapbook Layout

 Hello crafty friends,

Here’s another simple double page Scrapbook layout with more photos from our recent short get away.

I used the Cloud Cover Two Tone cardstock (#166708) for the base pages. I cut a piece of DSP from the Everyday You & Me Scrapbooking Workshop kit (#166628) and attached it to the sides of the base pages. I also cut this same DSP with Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580). I cut smaller circles with the Spotlight On Nature dies using Cloud Cover card (#165293) and Misty Moonlight card (#153086). These were taped to the pages.

The photos were matted with Basic Black card (#121688).

The die cut leaves are also from the Everyday You & Me Scrapbooking Workshop kit. I attached these with Mini Glue Dots (#152334). I used a Happy Little Things die (retired) and a Beautiful Butterflies die (#164614) for the small titles.

This card was then dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (#161600), then matted with Pecan Pie card (#161726) and attached to the Basic White base card.

Double scrapbook layout

 Hello friends,

I have made a double scrapbook layout with photos from a recent short holiday. I like to include lots of photos and limit the embellishments for simple pages on my scrapbooking.

The base pages are from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393). I dry embossed the Cajun Craze card (#121683) with the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder (#164069). This was attached to the base pages.

The other DSP is from the Memories In Bloom Scrapbooking Workshop kit (#166713).

I matted the photos with Basic Black card (#121688), and some of the photos were double matted with Granny Apple Green card (#147014).

The leaves were cut with an Autumn Leaves die (#162185). These are retiring and are on the Last Chance products, while stocks last. I used Cherry Cobbler card (#121681), Daffodil Delight card (#121680) and Crumb Cake card (#121685) for the leaves.

Terrific Toadstools

 Hello & welcome,

Before I put the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper (#165196) from yesterday’s card, I thought I would use it again on this card with a totally different look.

Again I matted the DSP with Mossy Meadow card (#133683). This was attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I used the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580) to cut the circles. “Best Of Luck” is from the Unbounded Love stamp set (#163378) and stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111).

The toadstools are from the Terrific Toadstools stamp set (#164783). These were stamped with Pecan Pie ink (#161665) and Timid Tiger ink (#165278). The stalks were stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) and the Terrific Toadstools Builder Punch (#164789) was used to punch the toadstools & stalks.

I used a die from the Mixed Labels dies (#164652) to cut the small leaves from Old Olive card (#106576).

The mossy meadow circle was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) were used to attach the sentiment and toadstools. Mini Glue Dots were used to attach the leaves. The Holographic Resin Dots (#165598) were added to the card.

Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper

 Hi again everyone,

The Beautiful Gallery 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#165196) has a lovely range of “old world” designs from florals to landscapes. The plainer piece of DSP on the left is the back of the floral design.

I used a die from the Fancy Borders (#165380) to cut the leaves in the DSP. The 2 pieces of DSP were attached to the Mossy Meadow card (#133683). This was attached to the Basic Beige base card (#164512).

I cut 2 flowers with a die from the Charming Day dies (#166135). I daubered the edges with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111) and added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897). I attached these together with Mini Glue Dots (#103683), slightly offsetting them. These were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I cut the small leaves from Mossy Meadow card, using a Mixed Labels die (#164652). This card was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), making it easy to attach them to the card.

I also used Clear Wink Of Stella on these die cut leaves and the leaves cut from the Fancy Borders die.

“Thinking Of You” from Beautiful Motifs stamp set (#165198) was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and cut with a Beautiful Butterflies die (#164614), then attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
