Cottage Rose

Hello stamping friends,

Again I have used the gorgeous flower from the Cottage Rose stamp set (#159040). As I said previously, this is my favourite stamp set from this current catalogue.

The floral image and the extra leaves were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). The flower was coloured with Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends (#159224) for the darker areas, then I lightly coloured it with a Blending Brush (#153611) and Sweet Sorbet ink (#159216). The leaves were coloured with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885). I used Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883) for the tiny flowers. These were cut with the Cottage Flowers dies (#159047).

I backed the Gold paper from the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper (#156844) with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), then cut this with the die from the Organic Beauty Dies (#158983). I used the diamonds from this instead of the outline of the “trellis”. To place these diamonds, I placed the outline onto the white card with out it sticking to the card, and adhered the diamonds in place, so they were all attached uniformly.

The top of the card front was dry embossed with one of the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folders (#159170). The floral image was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) & Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The small gold die-cut leaves & flowers are cut with dies from the Cottage Flowers dies and the piece under the sentiment is cut with a Painted Labels Die (#151605). I also used the Gold Metallic Specialty Paper for these. The sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink and cut with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183). Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to attach this to the card.

“Love what you do and share what you love.”

  1. Beautiful card. Love the Cottage Rose set and your colored the image beautifully. I like the way you used the gold diamond cutouts from the trellis die. TFS
