Confetti Celebration DSP

Hello,

There are so many beautiful designs in the Designer Series Papers and today I have used one of the papers from Confetti Celebration (#133692) for the background of this card.

I have often mentioned one of the things I love about Stampin' Up! is how everything coordinates. This card is a great example with Cherry Cobbler card (#121681), Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966), Cherry Cobbler Stampin Write Marker (#119681) and Cherry Cobbler 1" Sheer Linen Ribbon (#135839). Whisper White card (#106549) was also used. The stamp sets are Embellished Events (#c 226497, #w131984) and Label Love (#c130622, #w130619). I used the Banners Framelits (#132173) for the flowers and the punch for the Happy Birthday is the Artisan Label (#130920). Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker (#100079) was used for the stems and leaves, then Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to the card. As usual I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment and Banners to the card.

That's all today,
Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Striped Scallop Thinlits

Welcome,

The butterfly from Papillon Potpourri (#c123759, #w132058) was heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129) on Blackberry Bliss card (#133682) then punched with the coordinating Elegant Butterfly punch (#127526).

The DSP is Park Lane (#133694) which coordinates with the Blackberry Bliss card, Daffodil Delight (#121680) and Whisper White (#106549). I used the Striped Scallop Thinlits on the Whisper White card and I glued this to the DSP with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I embossed the Blackberry Bliss card with the Perfect Polka Dots folder (#117335). Happy birthday is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (#c126257, #w132022) and stamped with Backberry Bliss ink (#133642) and cut with the Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267). Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the butterfly and the sentiment.

This ends another busy week. So till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Christmas tree decoration

Hello,

I needed some Christmas decorations in blue and silver for a Christmas function for some senior citizens so I made this tree.

I used a variety of DSP in various blue tones. The Designer Rosette Bigz XL was used to make each of the rosettes. For the first 3 layers I joined 3 pieces together and the other layers I used 2 pieces for each rosette. The bottom layer was the full depth or radius of the rosette, then the next one was 9.5cm and each rosette was 1 cm smaller than the last till the top one which was 2.5cm. I assembled each layer using hot melt glue. I cut thin pieces of card and rolled in a circle and glued them between each layer. I cut 2 stars with the Star Framelits (#133723) and hot glued them together with a toothpick in the middle and glued it into the top rosette. The Silver Glimmer Paper (#135314) was used for the stars.

The punch for the leaves is the Bird Builder (#117191) using Garden Green card (#108605). The Rose Red Cardstock (#108613) was cut with the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits (#135707) as was the sentiment. I also embossed the Rose Red card with the Fancy Fan folder (#127751) then I wrapped some Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine (#123125) around the Rose Red card. Beautiful Wings Embosslits

Hello all,

The Beautiful Wings Embosslits (#118138) have 5 different butterflies which emboss and cut at the same time. I used the largest and smallest butterflies.

Park Lane DSP (#133694) has been used with Basic Black card (#121688) and Whisper White (#106549). Congratulations from Sassy Salutations stamp set (#c126707, #w132070) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The butterfly was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). World of Dreams birthday card

Hello ladies,

I usually choose a stamp set first when deciding what card to make, but today I chose the DSP first which determined the colours and then the stamp set.

The DSP is Lullaby (#133695) and the Cardstock is Whisper White (#106549), Coastal Cabana (#131302) and Crushed Curry (#131288). The inks are Baked Brown Sugar (#131174), Crushed Curry (#131173) and Coastal Cabana (#131175). I used the Woodgrain embossing folder (#127821) on the Coastal Cabana card. The stamp sets used are World of Dreams (#c134186, #w134183) and Label Love (#c130622, #w130619). Happy birthday is punched with the Artisan Label punch (#130920) and the ovals were cut with the Ovals Collection Framelits (#129381).

It's a very hot day today so I'm taking advantage of the air conditioning in my craft room. Hopefully will start making my Christmas cards today.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Embellished Events wedding card

Hi again,

I used the Circle Collection Framelits (#130911) for this wedding card.

I cut a circle from Night Of Navy card (#106577) using the scallop circle. Then using another piece of card for the base card, I had scored and folded in half I cut again using the scallop circle but placing the scallop so it formed a hinge as shown below.

I then taped the first circle onto the base card.
Then I heat embossed the images from the Embellished Events stamp set (#c126497, #w131984) on a piece of Whisper White card (#106549) which I had cut with the largest plain circle Framelit. The heat embossing was done with Silver Metallic Encore ink (#132142) and Silver Embossing powder (#109131). I then cut the circle into 3 and placed them on the Night of Navy card as shown on the card. Congratulations is stamped with Night of Navy ink (#126970) and punched with the Modern Label punch (#119849). I attached this with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) to each of the images.

That's all for today,
Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Welcome,

I have punched the butterflies from Red Glimmer Paper (#121790) and Champagne Glimmer Paper (#127885) which gives a lovely sparkle to this card.

Endless Wishes

The Endless Wishes stamp set (#136829) has a great range of sentiments for Christmas and with this set being photopolymer, it makes it very easy to position the words and images exactly where you want them.

The base card is Smokey Slate (#131291), with Real Red (#106578) and Whisper White (#106549). The snowflakes were heat embossed with Silver Metallic Encore ink (#132142) and Silver Embossing powder (#109131). I used Crushed Curry ink (#131173) and Real Red (#126949) for the sentiment.

I usually have all my Christmas cards made by now but this year I haven't started the ones I send to family and friends, so will have to start thinking about that soon.

That's all today,

Happy Stamping!

Thank you

Hi ladies,

It's been very hectic around here and unfortunately haven't been able to ge into my craft room very much. However I was asked to make a Thank You card for the Archbishop who was visiting our church to celebrate the church's 50th Anniversary. So I will share the card I made - sorry I have used retired stamps but they were appropriate for this card.

I didn't want anything fancy so was pleased with this simple design. I used Shimmery White card (#121717), Brushed Gold (#124917) and Basic Black (#121688). I like to use these white and gold cardstock for special cards. I heat embossed the Praying Hands and Thank You using Versamark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129).

Well that's all today,
Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Trim The Tree DSP Stack

Hello,

The Trim the Tree DSP stack ( 5135824) has a nice variety of Christmas designs and I have used the snowflakes and stars on this card.

I also used Whisper White (#106549) and Garden Green card (#108605) with Garden Green ink (#126973) and Crumb Cake ink (#126975). The snowflakes are from the Many Merry Stars stamp set (#138105). This set is available in the photopolymer stamps so makes it easy to do 2 step stamping. Merry Christmas is from the Good Greetings stamp set (#c135017).

This is another quick and easy card which is what many of us need at this busy time of the year.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Bright and Beautiful with Confetti Stars

Hi and welcome,

I'm loving all the stars available in the Holiday catalogue and the Extra Special Christmas supplement, so here is another Christmas card using stars.

Cherry Cobbler (#121681) and Whisper White card (#106549) were used. The Confetti Stars punch (#135861) was used to punch all the little stars. Bright and Beautiful stamp set (#c135029, #w135026) was used for the large star using Versamark (#102283) and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder (#122949) and heat set. The stars were cut with the Stars Framelits (#133723). The sentiment is also from the Bright and Beautiful set using Cherry Cobbler Ink (#126966).

It's been another very busy day.

Confetti Stars punch

Hi,

I cut a piece of Whisper White card (#106549) 5.5cm x15cm and punched with the Confetti Stars Punch (#135861) along the top and bottom to get a deeper piece of the punched stars.

This was then attached to some Real Red card (#106578) then to the Whisper White base card. The stars on the left are cut with The Stars Framelits (#133723). The photopolymer stamp set - Many Merry Stars (#138105) was used for the stars, sentiment and the words using Real Red ink (#126949). The stars were put together with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) and the Rhinestone Basic Jewel gave a finishing touch to the stars.

Happy Stamping!

Christmas wreath

Hello again,

I held a Christmas workshop today where we made this beautiful Christmas Wreath. I made one last year and the ladies who attend my card classes all wanted to make one.

The paper used is Trim The Tree DSP Paper stack (135824) from the holiday catalogue. This was punched using the 1-3/4" Scallop circle punch (#119854), then formed a cone shape and stapled the base. After making lots of these, they were then attached to a styrofoam wreath with hot melt glue. The bow was made using the Gift Bow Bigz L (#129977) with Cherry Cobbler card (#121681). Merry Christmas and the ribbon are retired products.

One of the ladies didn't want to use the traditional Christmas colours so this is what she made. Very pretty too.

It is a little time consuming but is really worth it. We had a fun day.

Well that's all today,
Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
