Luxe Foliage Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hi friends,

A pretty card with lots of gold including the Luxe Foliage Specialty Designer Series Paper (#168599) which is September’s Product Of The Month.

For the Basic White card front (#166781) I used the now retired Eyelet Blooms Die, the added the strip of the DSP to the left side.

The Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) were used for the leaves, and cut with a Nature’s Symphony Die (#166925). I attached these to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

“Happy Birthday” is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042) and I used the Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170066). This is using the Reverse Plate (#170043), then cut with the co-ordinating cutting die. The sentiment was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The gold Flower Accents (#165171) were added to finish the card.

The card front was matted with Peaceful Pine card (#167692) and attached to the Basic White base card.

 Hello & welcome,

I have used the Lily Of The Valley Bundle (#167943) on today’s card.

These were cut with the Lily Of The Valley dies (#167942).

The 2 detailed die cut pieces were also cut with the Lily Of The Valley dies using Blackberry Bliss card (#133682) which was backed with Adhesive Sheets (#152334).

“Happy Birthday” is from the same stamp set, stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink (#147092) and cut with a Scalloped Blooms Die (#167646).

The card front is from the Valley In Bloom Designer Series Paper (#167935) and matted with Blackberry Bliss card, then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

Aspens Of Gratitude Paper Pumpkin Kit

 Hi again friends,

Each month there is a new Paper Pumpkin Kit available and this month it is the Aspens Of Gratitude. I have made the 2 cards from this kit with a slight variation on each. The beauty of these kits is that you can assemble the cards exactly as shown in the instructions of the kit or change them to suit you.

The card fronts are printed with the trees, then the other elements are added.

I stamped the leaves from the stamp set which is included in the kit with the Early Espresso ink, also included in the kit. I then fussy cut the leaves and coloured them with the Golden Glow Shimmer Brush (#167662).

The sentiments are stamped with the Early Espresso ink. “Best Wishes” is from the Elegantly Wrapped stamp set (#168474) and the “Thank you so much” is from the kit.

The sentiments, leaves and brown die cut pieces were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots, all from the kit. The embellishments are also from the kit.

Pretty Poinsettia Dies

 Hello again friends,

I love the poinsettia from the Pretty Poinsettia dies (#168146) so have made the flowers white for this Birthday card for something different.

The flower and leaves from these dies are impressions dies, which means to get a deeper emboss, you use an Impressions plate (#167767) after cutting with the dies. I used Basic White card (#166781) and Soft Sea Foam card (#147012). I daubered some Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102) around the edges of the Soft Sea Foam leavesThe layers were attached together with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the flower and leaves.

The silver leaves were cut with a Beautifully Celebrated die (#166974) from Silver Foil Sheet (#163387) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

The sentiments are from the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies (#170052). These dies include the cutting dies to cut the sentiments. I used Silver Stampin’ Hot foil (#170067).

I matted the Basic White card front with Soft Sea Foam card and attached it to the Basic White base card. I cut strips of the Luxe White Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167947) and taped them to the card front. The flower was attached with a Stampin’ Dimensional (#104430) and the sentiments with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108), which were cut in half. The adhesive backed leaves were attached to the card.

Echos Of Details Hot Foil Dies

 Hi friends,

I have used the Echos Of Details Hot Foil Dies (#170048) with the Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil (#170066) for the background of this lovely subtle coloured card.

I have used Very Vanilla card (#166785). I cut the card front with a die from the Beautifully Celebrated dies (#166974), then dry embossed this with the Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder (#168220). This was attached to the card with the Hot Foil bricks.

The flower & leaves are from the now retired Beautifully Adorned Ephemera Pack. I coloured the flower with Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends (#161675) and the leaf with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885). The flower was attached to the card with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional (#144108) and the leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

“Thinking Of You” is from the Friendly Foliage stamp set (#167021). This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I added the Gold Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). A Stylish Shapes Die (#159183) was used to cut the sentiment and this was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are the Gold Adhesive Backed Dots (#168467).

Radiant Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hello,

I fussy cut the sunflowers from the Radiant Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (#168362) for this card.

I dry embossed the Golden Glow card front (#167686) with the Rustic Check Embossing Folder (#168442) and attached it to the Very Vanilla base card (#166785).

The leaves are from the Pretty Poinsettia dies (#168146). These dies are impressions dies, so when you use the Impressions Plate (#167767) it gives extra embossed image. These leaves were cut from Garden green card (#108605) and I added extra colour around the edges with a dauber and Garden Green ink (#147087). I cut the leaves apart so I had individual leaves.

“Happy Birthday” from the Framed & Fabulous stamp set (#170573) was stamped with Early Espresso ink (#147114), then cut with a Scalloped Blooms die (#167646).

The sentiment was taped to the card and I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach the leaves. The flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue Dots. The Gold Adhesive-Backed Dots (#168467) were added to finish the card.

Tile Garden Dies

 Welcome friends,

The Tile Garden Dies (#168573) includes 12 square dies with 3 different designs around the edges. These designs are the same as the circle dies from the Spotlight In Nature (#163580).

I used the Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil Roll (#170066) with the Echos Of Detail Hot Foil Die (#170048), then I cut this with the Tile Garden Dies.

The Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) was also cut with these dies and I taped these together.

“For You” and the leaves are from the Words & Wishes dies (#167894). I used the gold from the Timeless Metallic Specialty Paper (#168548) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The background for  “For you” is Gorgeous Grape card.

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Softly Woven Embossing Folder (#168466) and matted with Gorgeous Grape card. The base card is Basic White.

“For You” was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the squares were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Echos Of Detail Hot Foil Dies

 Hello friends,

Whenever possible when doing the Hot Foiling, I use the reverse image while the machine is still hot, so I am getting a stock of images waiting to be used. Today I have used the reverse image from yesterday’s card. I used the brick from the Echos Of Detail Hot Foil Dies (#170048) with the Reverse Hot Foils Die (#170043) on Very Vanilla card (#166785). I had used the Copper Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170553).

I cut the arch using a die from the Everyday Arches (#164629) from Pretty Peacock card (#150886), then dry embossed this with the (retired) Birch Wood Embossing Folder. The bricks and Pretty Peacock card were attached to the Very Vanilla Base Card.

The leaves were cut using a die from the Nature’s Symphony dies (#166925) from Lost Lagoon card (#133686) and Pool Party card (#124391), then were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). For the Pool Party leaves, I cut some of the leaves from the larger die cut, rather than using the full image.

“Have A Great Birthday” is from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set (#167922) and stamped with Pretty Peacock ink (#150083) and cut with a Nested Essentials die (#161597). Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the sentiment.

The “embellishments” were cut with a “berry” die from the Noel Tidings dies (#168457) using some “leftover” copper from the Hot Foiling of the bricks. These were attached with Mini Glue Dots.

Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Bundle

 Hello & welcome again,

I think my favourite Hot Foil dies currently are the Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Bundle (#170559). This bundle includes the hot foil dies, cutting dies and masks for colouring so gives you many options.

I hot foiled the leaves as well as the brickwork from the Echos Of Detail Hot Foil Dies (#170048) with the Copper Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170553).

The leaves were coloured with a variety of inks using Blending Brushes (#153611). The colours used are Crushed Curry (#147087), Cajun Craze (#147085), Old Olive (#147090), Mossy Meadow (#147111). Cherry Cobbler (#147083), Pecan Pie (#161665) and Crumb Cake (#147116). After colouring, the leaves were cut with the cutting die.

The card front was matted with Pecan Pie card (#161726) and attached to the Very Vanilla card (#166785).

The sentiment is from the Framed & Fabulous stamp set (#170573) and stamped with Pecan Pie ink. This was cut with a Nested Essentials die (#161597).

The leaves and sentiment were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

 Hello,

We all have left over designer paper which we just can’t throw away, so why not use it, like I have on this easy card.

Using the Tile Garden Dies (#168573), I cut a variety of pieces from the Scenic Coast Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167773).

I taped each of the squares to the Lunar Lustre Specialty Paper (#167199). This paper is in the Last Chance products, so available while stocks last. The card front was matted with Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) and attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The sentiment is from the Framed & Fabulous stamp set (#170573). This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was also cut with one of the dies and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The embellishments are from the retired Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments.

Country Woods Designer Series Paper

 Hello everyone,

I have used a mix of current and retired products on today’s card. I needed a card for an 18 year old apprentice carpenter so the retired Trusty Tools Bundle is perfect along with the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393).

I matted the 2 pieces of DSP with Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper (#165901). This is available from the Last Chance products while stocks last. The base card is Basic White (#166781).

I stamped the tools from the Trusty Tools stamp set, on Smoky Slate card (#131291) using VersaMark (#102283) with Black Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The tools were cut with co-ordinating Trusty Tools dies. I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add some glimmer to the tools. I added some colour to the paint brush bristles using the Golden Glow Shimmer Brush (#167662).

“Happy Birthday” is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042) and I used the Copper Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170553), on Basic White card.

The sentiment, 18 and tools were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The screws and washers also cut from Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper were glued with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

This is a larger card, using a full sheet of A4 and scored in half.

Elegantly Wrapped Bundle

 Hello everyone,

The latest catalogue is now available so I have used some of the products on today’s card.

I stamped the bow from the Elegantly Wrapped stamp set (#168474) using VersaMark (#102283) and Gold powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) on Poppy Parade card (#121694). This was cut with a die from the Elegantly Wrapped dies (#168480).

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Swirls Of Magic Embossing Folder (#168179), then matted with Poppy Parade card and attached to the Basic White base card.

The 2 squares are cut with the Tile Garden dies (#168573) from Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper (#167113). These were taped together.

I used a die from the Bordered In Beauty dies (#167550) to cut the Gold Foil (#132622) “ribbons” and these were attached to the “present” with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

“Happy Birthday” is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042) using Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170066). This is using the Negative foil with the Reverse Hot Foil Dies (#170043). When I do any hot foiling, I then do the negative image so I will always have lots of spare foiled pieces ready to use. “Happy Birthday was cut with the co-ordinating cutting die from the set.

I find when using the reverse image, I get the best results using smoother papers. Basic White, White Willow and Two-Tone card all give great results. The shine on the foil made this hard to photograph but the gold foiling is not mottled as it appears on this photo.

The ribbon and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I made my own embellishments using the excess gold hot foil from around the sentiment. These were cut with a die from the Noel Tidings dies (#168457) and attached with Mini Glue Dots.

August Paper Pumpkin Kit variation

 Hello friends,

After using the laser cut piece from the August Paper Pumpkin kit as a mask on yesterday’s card, I have now used the same piece for the card front on this card.

I had applied the Soft Sea Foam ink (#147012) and Pool Party ink (#147107) with Blending Brushes (#153611), so this was ready to be attached to the base card from the kit.

The sentiment and frames are from the Exciting Times stamp set (#167875). I used VersaMark (#102283) and the Gold Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) for the sentiment and radiating frame, and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was punched with the Rounded Rectangle punch (#167880). The outer frame was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The flowers are from the Detailed Flora Dies (#168664) and I used Coastal Cabana card (#131302) and Gold Foil sheet (#132622) and attached them to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).
