Kinda Eclectic

Hello,

Kinda Eclectic stamp set  (#c135350, #w135347) used on this card has coordinating punches for the butterflies.

The starburst and small butterfly were stamped with Wisteria Wonder ink (#126985). The larger butterfly was stamped with Perfect Plum (#126963). The label from Everything Eleanor (#c124164, #w131987) was stamped also with Perfect Plum with the stamping off method to get a lighter colour. I cut this by hand and attached it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals  (#104430). The ink for the leaves is Wild Wasabi (#126959). The punches for the butterflies are Elegant Butterfly (#127526) and Bitty Butterfly (#129406). These were also attached with Stampin' Dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) are added to the butterfly. The Cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Basic Black (#121688).

Bye for now.

Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Corner Garden

Hello and welcome,

This elegant Wedding card using just white and silver could also be used for a sympathy card, silver Anniversary card or for a special birthday.

I used Whisper White card (#106549) and White Vellum (#106584). I embossed on the Vellum using the Corner Garden stamp (#c134048, #w134045) with VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Embossing Powder (#109131) and then heat set this. I added a piece of the Silver 5/8" Satin Ribbon (#134548) to this before attaching the Vellum to the card using the 1/8" Mini Brads (#122941). The flower from Beautiful Bunch (#c134282, #w134279) and Wedded Bliss from the Tag Talk stamp set (#c134252, #w134249) were also embossed with the silver embossing powder on Whisper White card. These were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The flower was punched with the Fun Flower punch (#133785) and the sentiment with the Label Bracket (#132153).

Today's tip:
When using embossing powder or glitter, be sure to use the embossing buddy (#103083) to prevent unwanted powder or glitter sticking to your project. Just rub the embossing buddy across your paper before stamping.

Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Work Of Art

Hi,

The Work Of Art stamp set (#c134114, w#134111) is great for backgrounds and can be used with such a variety of stamps.

Using the "stamping off " method, I stamped the background with So Saffron (#126957), Daffodil Delight (#126944) and Crushed Curry ink (#131173). The trees from Lovely As A Tree stamp set (#c127793, #w1288655) were stamped with Early Espresso ink (#126974). "You" was stamped with Crushed Curry ink, then again with Early Espresso - using the stamping off method. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig (#101049) to offset the word slightly for a shadow effect. The Cardstock is Crushed Curry (#131288), Early Espresso (#121686) and Whisper White (#106549).

Today's tip:
The stamping off method is achieved by inking a stamp, then stamping it onto scrap paper, then onto the card. This gives a lighter image, which is great for backgrounds. You can also use just one ink and using the stamping off method, stamp it 3 times without re-inking to get a similar effect.

Have a great weekend.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

World of Dreams and Everything Eleanor

Hi everyone,

Today I have made 2 cards with almost identical products but changed them slightly. I often refer to my cards at a class as "inspirational" cards, which allows each person to make their card their way with the same card and stamps but are inspired by my design.

The card stock is Whisper White (#106549) and Rose Red (#108613) with Regals DSP (#130139). I stamped the leaves from the World Of Dreams stamp set (#c134186, #w134183) using Pear Pizzaz ink (#131180). I then embossed the Whisper White card with the Perfect Polka Dots folder (#117335). I will really miss this embossing folder as it is not in the next catalogue, but will be replaced by some other exciting folders. On the 1st card I added flowers from Everything Eleanor stamp set (#c124164, #w131987) which were stamped with Perfect Plum ink (#126963) and fussy cut. Happy Birthday is from Label Love stamp set (#c130622, #w130619) using Rose Red ink (#126954). This was punched with the Artisan Label punch (#130920). Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) and Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) have been used.

There are only a few more days to get what you want from this current catalogue, which means that the new catalogue is only a few days away as well - 2nd June. I'm sure you are looking forward to seeing all the great new products as I am.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Flowering Flourishes

Hello Ladies,

I Gold embossed one of the flourishes from the Flowering Flourishes stamp set (#c126367, #w131998) on today's card.

The Cardstock is Real Red (#106578), Whisper White (#106549) and Brushed Gold (#124917). For the gold embossing I used VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129) which was then heat set. I also used this to stamp the flower from the Flower Shop stamp set (#c130942, #w130939). The flower was punched with the coordinating Pansy punch (#130698). This was attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The ribbon is 5/8" Gold Satin. The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments (#c120024, #w130042) and stamped with Real Red ink (#126949). This was then cut with one of the hearts from the Hearts Collection Framelits (#125599) and also attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.

It's Wednesday so it's time for this week's WEEKLY DEALS.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Guy Greetings birthday

Welcome,

This old car is probably my favourite image in the Guy Greetings stamp set (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178) but there is such a variety of stamps in this set.

I stamped the car and Dad with Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966), and Happy Birthday was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The Cardstock is Basic Black (#121688), Whisper White (#106549) and Cherry Cobbler (#121681). The DSP is from Back To Basics (#133700). As usual I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the card with the car to the card front.
It's not much longer to wait (2nd June) till the new annual catalogue will be available. I'm pleased to tell you that this stamp set will continue in the new catalogue along with lots of exciting new stamp sets and products.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Decorative Dots and Butterfly Basics

Hello,

One of the many things I love about Stampin' Up! products is coordination. On this card it includes cardstock and ink, stamps with punches and Framelits.

The Cardstock is Blackberry Bliss (#133682) and Whisper White (#106549). The ink used is Blackberry Bliss (#133642). The butterfly is stamped from the Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154) and cut with the coordinating Butterflies Thinlits Dies (#137360). I also stamped a butterfly on the whie card and attached the cut out butterfly on top but this can't be seen on this photo. Happy Birthday comes from the Label Love stamp set (#c130622, #w130619) and the coordinating punch is the Artisan Label (#130920). I used the 5/8" Gold Satin Ribbon (#134547) as I always like gold and purple together. Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) were used to add the butterfly and sentiment to the card.

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Six Sided Sampler

Hello Ladies,

The Six Sided Sampler (#c130956, #w130953) and the Honeycomb embossing folder (#129378) have been teamed up on this card.

The base card is Blushing Bride (#131287) and I embossed and stamped on Very Vanilla card (#106550). I stamped the image from World Of Dreams (#c134186, #w134183) using Pear Pizzaz ink (#131180). Then I stamped a second image using Crumb Cake (#126975) and cut this with one of the Circles Collection Framelits (#130911) and attached this with Stampin' dimensionals (#104430) over the first image. The hexagons were stamped with Crumb Cake ink, Pear Pizzaz and Blushing Bride (#131172). Thanks Much is also from the Six-Sided Sampler stamp set and this hexagon was also attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Have a great weekend.

Hi,

When you are in a hurry and need a card, here's a quick and easy one.
The Lovely As A Tree stamp set (#c127793, #w128655) is a very popular one. These trees have been stamped with Early Espresso ink (#126974).

The base card is Early Espresso (#121686), with Tangerine Tango (#116206) and Very Vanilla card (#106550) also used. The leaves are also from Lovely As  A Tree set and stamped with Garden Green ink (#126973). Happy Birthday is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154). This was stamped Tangerine Tango ink (#126946).

Beautiful Bunch

Hello,

I was asked for a card in red and gold, so I have used the Gold Embossing powder (#109129) with Versamark (#102283) and heat embossed for the flowers and sentiment on this card. This is a very easy card but looks great in red, gold and white with a touch of black.

Whisper White  (#106549), Basic Black (#121688) and Real Red card (#106578) have been used as well as the Gold Soiree DSP (#133697). The flowers from the Beautiful Bunch stamp set (#c134282, #w134279) are punched with the coordinating Fun Flower punch (#133785) and I used the Decorative Label punch (#120907) for the sentiment. I scored  the down the centre of each petal then shaped the petals of the top layer of the flower and attached this the the bottom flower with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Banners Framelits

Welcome Ladies,

What would we do without Framelits and punches. They certainly make crafting so much easier and perhaps more creative.

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549), Wild Wasabi (#111850) and Calypso Coral (#124392). The DSP is from the Subtles DSP Stack (#130135). The banners are cut using the Banners Framelits (#132173). The flowers are from the Flower Shop stamp set (#c130942, #w130939) and Petite Petals (#c133155, #w133152). The larger flowers were stamped with Crisp Cantaloupe (#131175) and the small flowers were stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#126983). The punches for the flowers are Pansy (#130698) and Petite Petals (#133322). For You is one of the stamps from Tag Talk (#c134252, #w134249) and punched with the Label Bracket punch (#132153). Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the flowers and sentiment, then I added Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to the flowers.

That's all for another day.

Happy Stamping!

Butterfly Basics birthday

Hello,

Another stamp set from the occasions catalogue that will be in the new catalogue is the Butterfly Basics (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154). I love this stamp set so am really excited it is continuing.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and this was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder (#117335). I am very disappointed that this is being retired as it my favourite embossing folder.  I punched the Rich Razzleberry card (#119981) with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch (#119275). This was taped to the Something Borrowed DSP (#137785). The inks used are Pear Pizzaz (#131180) and Rich Razzleberry (#126950). I used the Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Write marker (#120970) to add the ink to the flower of the stamp. The butterfly was punched with the Bitty Butterfly (#129406) and the oval was cut with one of the Ovals Collection Framelits (#129381). The butterfly was attached with a Stampin' Dimensional (#104430) and I added the Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) to the butterfly and flower.

Let me know if you would like to order anything from the retiring list.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Gold embossed Lovely As A Tree

Hi again,

This tree from Lovely As A Tree stamp set (#c127793, #w128655) has been heat embossed with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing Powder (#109129).

I used Whisper White card (#106549), Basic Black (#121688) and Daffodil Delight (#121680). The DSP is Parklane (#133694). The Crazy About You stamp set (#c138859, #w138856, #p137137) has a great range of mix and match sentiments and that's when you will find the Happy Birthday that I used on this card and stamped with the Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). Also with the photopolymer stamps it is so easy to stamp the words just where you want them. This stamp set is currently in the occasions catalogue and I am so pleased to see it will be carried over into the next catalogue. Now a little sneak peek of a punch that is in the new catalogue which was used to punch this banner. It is the new Banner Triple (#138292). This punch cuts 3 different width banners - 2.5cm or 1", 3.8cm or 1-1/2" and 5.1cm or 2" and they can be any length. Not long to wait now to see all the exciting products in the new catalogue as it will be available on 2nd June.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Baby Boy card

Hello,

I needed a card for a cute little baby boy who was born recently. It's nice to personalize a card with a name. This card measures 15x21cm - using A4 card and halved.

I love the "Chest of Drawers" which I made using the Shimmery White card (#121717) and embossed with the Woodgrain folder (#127821). The piece at the bottom was punched with the Decorative Label (#120907) to form the legs. I have used the Candy Dots Brad Bases (#132293) with the Marina Mist Candy Dots from the Subtles collection (#130933) for the knobs for the drawers. The drawers were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The little bunny from Baby We've Grown stamp set (#c133089, #w133086) has been stamped with Marina Mist ink (#126962). Welcome Baby is from the Petite Pairs stamp set (#c122497, #w128706) using Real Red ink (#126949). The heart to cut this is from the Hearts Collection Framelits (#125599). The cardstock other than the Shimmery White is Marina Mist (#121682) and Real Red (#106578) with Subtles DSP (#130135).

Well, the weekend is almost here again, so hope you have a great weekend and a chance to do some craft.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Cupcake Party

Hello friends,

A cute card today using the little cupcakes from the Cupcake Party stamp set (#c134126, #w134123).

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Bermuda Bay (#131286) and the DSP is from the Brights DSP stack (#130134). I embossed the Whisper White panel with the Woodgrain folder (#127821). The sentiment stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#131171) is from the Label Love stamp set (#c130622, #w130619) and punched with the Artisan Label Punch (#130920). "It's a cupcake kind of day" is from the Cupcake Party stamp set and this was stamped with Tangerine Tango ink (#126946). The punch used for the cupcakes is the Cupcake Builder (#121807). Of course I used Stampin' Dimensionals (104430) to attach the cupcakes and sentiment.

Here are this weeks WEEKLY DEALS.

That's all for today.

Adventure Abound DSP

Welcome,

As the end of the current catalogue and occasions catalogue comes to an end, I have been sorting out papers. I and came across the Adventure Abound DSP (#137780) which I haven't used for a while, so thought these logs would be appropriate for the background for one of the trees from Lovely As A Tree (#c127793, #w128655) to make a quick and easy card.

The base card is Garden Green (#126973). The other cardstock is Basic Black (#121688) and Very Vanilla (#106550). The tree and the sentiment were both stamped with Garden Green ink (#126973). The circles were cut with the Circles Collection Framelits (#130911). The sentiment is from the Guy Greetings stamp set (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178) and I cut this with one of the Framelits from the Project Life Cards and Labels (#135707).

There are only a couple of weeks left to get anything from the retiring list so if there is anything you want just contact me.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Hearts Framelits

Hi,

I was asked to make an Anniversary card in Red and White so here is the card. The finished card is 21x15cm so it is a piece of A4 card folded in half.

Whisper White (#106549), Real Red (#106578) and Brushed Gold (#124917) are the cardstock used. I used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder (#117335) for the top white card and the heart. The hearts are cut using the Hearts Collection Framelits (#125599). The large flower is from the Beautiful Bunch stamp set (#c134282, #w134279), stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing Powder (#109129) and heat embossed. This was then punched with the Fun Flower punch (#133785). The leaves were punched with the Bird Builder punch (#117191). The butterflies are both from the Papillion Potpourri stamp set (#c123759, #w132058) and they were stamped with Real Real ink (#126949) and punched with the Elegant Butterfly (#127526) and Bitty Butterfly (#129406) punches. The Happy Anniversary is from the Express Yourself  stamp set (#c130339) and cut with one of the Framelits from Project Life Cards and Labels (#135707). I added the flowers from Petite Petals (#c133155, #w133152) to the sentiment. The large flower, butterflies and sentiment were all attached to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I added Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to the flower and butterflies.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Everything Eleanor

Hello and welcome,

Today, using the same basic design, I have made a few slight changes from yesterdays masculine card for a feminine card.

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549), Bermuda Bay (#131286) and Tangerine Tango (#116206). The DSP is from the Something Borrowed DSP (#137785). The flourish and flower are both from the Everything Eleanor stamp set (#c124164, #w131987). These were stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#126975) and Bermuda Bay ink (#131171). Happy Birthday is from the Label Love stamp set (#c130622, #w130619), stamped with Tangerine Tango ink (#126964) and punched with the coordinating Artisan Label punch (#130920). The Bermuda Bay and Tangerine Tango cards were cut the same size as the Whisper White card, then each were offset slightly rather than just having one colour behind the white card. Both the sentiment and flower were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

I wish all the Mums a Happy Mother's Day and hope you get a bit spoilt today and have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Guy Greetings

Hello again,

The Guy Greetings stamp set (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178) is a great set as it has such a great range of images and sentiments for any masculine card. There are 22 stamps in this set.

The base card is Basic Black (#121688). Then I added DSP from the Confetti Celebration pack (#133692). Basic Black was used again, then Crushed Curry card (#131288), then Whisper White (#106549). Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and Crushed Curry (#131173) were the inks used.
I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig (#101049) to get all the images straight. I seem to use this on most cards to get images exactly where I want them. It's my most used accessory.

Have a great weekend.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Flower Shop and Petite Petals

Welcome,

There are some Stampin' Up! products which I use then seem to forget about them for a while (we do have so many great products to use, don't we), then realize I haven't used them and don't know why. Crystal Effects (#101055) is one of those products and it is so versatile. I have used it on a few cards recently and today I have used it for the centre of the flowers and on the cute little bow to give a lovely glossy finish.

The cardstock I have used today is Pistachio Pudding (#131299), Whisper White (#106549) and Calypso Coral (#124392). The background has been stamped with Gorgeous Grunge (#c130517, #w130514) using Pistachio Pudding ink (#131177). The larger flowers are from Flower Shop (#c130942, #w130939) and heat embossed with VersaMark (#102283) and Calypso Coral Embossing powder (#133752). Happy Birthday from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (#c126707, #w132070) has also been heat set with Calypso embossing powder. I cut this with one of the Oval Framelits (#129381) then placed this on a piece of Calypso Coral card cut with a Deco Labels Framelit (#130102). The small flower is Petite Petals (#c133155,#w133152) and stamped with Pistachio Pudding ink. The bow was cut with a thinlit from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies (#137547). This is another product that is easy to forget all the great pieces that are part of this set. As usual I have added flowers and the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The punches for the flowers are Pansy (#130698) and Petite Petals (#133322).

Bye for now.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Butterflies Thinlits Dies

Hello,

Unfortunately I needed a sympathy card and as the lady was a butterfly lover as I am, I just had to put a butterfly on the card.

The base card and the top card is from the Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP which was from SAB. This paper has a lovely glossy pattern and is suitable for colouring but I just wanted to keep it plain. The gold is the Brushed Gold card (#124917). The butterfly is cut using the Butterflies Thinlits Dies (#137360) and for this I used the Gold Glimmer Paper (#133719).The sentiments from Petite Pairs (#c122497, #w128706) are stamped on Whisper White card (#106549). These were heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Gold Embossing Powder (#109129). The butterfly and the sentiments were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

That's all for another day.

Bloom With Hope

Hi everyone,

Today I have embossed 3 images on this car - 2 are embossed with White Embossing Powder and one with Calypso Coral. Not sure how well you can see the white embossed images but looks great on the card.

The cardstock is Calypso Coral (#124392) and Whisper White (#106549). The flowers from Bloom With Hope (#c133952, #w133949) were embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Calypso Coral (#133752) and White Embossing Powder  (#109132). Happy Birthday from the Label Love stamp set (#c130622, #w130619) was also embossed and then punched with the Artisan Label punch (#130920). This was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The ribbon is one from Sale-a-bration. I used some Crystal Effects (#101055) for the flower centres and added some Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter (133751) for a bit of bling.

Don't forget there are still lots of products available on the retiring list, so if you want anything just contact me. These are available till 2nd June when products from the new catalogue will then be available.

That's all today,

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Stippled Blossoms Birthday

Hello,

A pretty card today using the beautiful Stippled Blossoms stamp set (#c126747, #w132076) with various gold elements.

The base card is Perfect Plum (#108615) then I added a piece of the Gold Foil Sheets (#132622), then Very Vanilla card (#106550). I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (#c126707, #w132070) with Versamark (#102283) and then heat embossed with Gold Embossing powder (#109129). The leaves are from the Bloom With Hope stamp set (#c133952, #w133949) which is one of the current hostess sets. These leaves were stamped with the Gold Metallic Encore ink (#132141). The flowers are stamped with Perfect Plum ink (#126963) using the "stampin' off" method to get a lighter colour, for the base of the flower. I then added some Gold Glitz Dazzling Details (#133755) to the flower stamens. One flower was raised using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Hope you had a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Crazy About You

Hello Ladies,

The Crazy About You stamp set (#c138859,  #w138856, #p137137) has a great range of sentiments for so many occasions. I have the photopolymer set which allowed me to curve the words. To do this, just curve the stamp onto the Clear Mount Blocks before stamping. The leaves and large flower are also from this stamp set.

The cardstock is Rose Red (#108613) and Whisper White (#106549). The leaves were stamped with Pear Pizzaz ink (#131180) and the flowers and sentiments were stamped with Rose Red (#126954). The small flower is from Petite Petals stamp set (#c133155, #w133152). This was punched with the Petite Petals punch (#133322). The larger flower was punched with the Flower Medallion punch (#137417). I added a Candy Dot Brad Base (#132293) and a Candy Dot from the Regals Collection (#1309320) to the centre of the flower. I added some glitter to the leaves and flowers. To do this I used Crystal Effects (#101055) and sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter (#133751). The 2 flowers were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Tip for today.
Crystal effects is also great as an adhesive or for creating a glossy, lacquered finish. Just allow time for it to dry- the thicker it is applied the longer it will take to dry.

That's all today,
Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Postage Due

Hello,

Todays card shows a technique which I'm not sure what its called, but gives a nice effect to the stamping.

To stamp the Postage Due image (#c126397, #w132064), I used a couple of sheets of baby wipes, then using the ink refills, I randomly added ink to the baby wipes to cover an area large enough for the stamp. I used Crumb Cake re-inker (#121029) and Island Indigo (#122932). You can reuse this and each time you stamp it, it will be a bit different. When you normally ink your stamps you usually pat the stamp several times on the ink pad. With this method, just pat onto the inked wipes once. However you might like to experiment and get some really great effects.
The card stock is Cherry Cobbler (#121681), Island Indigo (#124390) and Very Vanilla (#106550). I used the Woodgrain embossing folder (#127821) on the Island Indigo card. Thank You is from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (#c126707, #w132070, using Island Indigo ink (#126986) and I punched this with the Decorative Label punch (#120907).
I hope you try this method as its so much fun. You can use more colours for some great effects. If you don't have baby wipes you can use kitchen paper with the same results. You can put these aside for use at another time. Just spray with water to re-moisten and re-use.

Hope you are all staying dry and safe. We've had an enormous amount of rain today with lots of thunder and lightning.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.
