Deco labels

Hi,

I had another Stippled Blossom flower already stamped so have used it for today's card.

The flower from the Stippled Blossoms stamp set (#c126747, w132076) was stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#126975), then embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129). I then cut this Very Vanilla card (#106550) with the Deco Labels Collection framelits (#130102) as well as the Basic Black card (#121688). The DSP is from the beautiful Gold Soiree (#133697). Happy Birthday is from the Hostess stamp set - Bloom with Hope (#c133952, #w133949) and was stamped with Basic Black ink (#126980). The punches used for the sentiment are Modern Label (#119849) and Postage Stamp (#122344). I added some 5/8" Gold Satin Ribbon (#134547) under the sentiment.

Thanks for visiting.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Butterflies Thinlits Dies

Hello,

Again today is another quick and easy card using the Butterflies Thinlits Dies (#137360). Yes, this was another butterfly I had in my leftover box.

I used Wisteria Wonder(#124389) for the base card, butterfly and banner. Whisper White card (#106549) was used for the background and sentiment. The splotches from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (#c130517, #w130514) were stamped with Pink Pirouette ink (#126956) and Elegant Eggplant (#126969). I did use the stamping off method with the Elegant Eggplant ink. It might be a bit hard to see the darker image under the butterfly. I also used Elegant Eggplant to stamp the sentiment which is from the Label Love stamp set (#c130622, #w130619) and punched with the coordinating Artisan Label punch (#130920). The banner under this is cut using one of the Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267).

Don't forget that tomorrow (31st March) is the final day to order any of the products from Sale-a-bration, so contact me now if there is still something you would like.

Bye for now,

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Beautiful Bunch

Welcome again,

My next quick and easy card features a flower from Beautiful Bunch stamp set (#c134282, #w134279) and punched with the coordinating Fun Flower punch (#133785).

The ink used for the flowers is Tempting Turquoise (#126952) and Melon Mambo ink (#126948) was used for the sentiment. Happy Birthday Wishes is from the Petite Pairs stamp set (#c122497, #w128706). The cardstock is Melon Mambo (#119980) and Whisper White (#106549) and the DSP is from the Brights DSP Stack (#130134). I embossed the Whisper White card with one of the Delicate Designs folders (#127023). The flower was attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430), then I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) to the flower.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Stippled blossom

Hi and Welcome,

Today's quick and easy card uses Stippled Blossoms stamp set (#c126747, #w132076) which is one of my favourite sets.

The inks are Wisteria Wonder (#126985) and Elegant Eggplant (#126969). The cardstock is Elegant Eggplant (#108614) and Whisper White with Regals DSP Stack (#130139). Happy Birthday is from Sassy Salutations stamp set (#c126707, #w132070). I don't think you could get anything easier than this but it's still a pretty card.

My hand is really good, so hopefully it won't be too long before I am back making cards. I've also got a lot of scrapbooking to do so can't wait to get back into my craft room.

Bye for now.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Adventure abound

Hello,

Here is a super easy card, again using the Adventure Abound DSP Stack (#137780).

The base card is Garden Green (#108605), and Whisper White (#106549) was used for the sentiment. Happy Birthday Dad is from the Guy Greetings stamp set (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178) and stamped with Garden Green ink (#126973). This was then punched with the Decorative Label punch (#120907). The circles in the Garden Green card under the sentiment was cut with one of the pieces from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies (#137547). So yes, this is super easy.

That's all today,

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Butterflies

Hello again,

The Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack (#138638) is one of four new Sale-a-bration products available but only till 31st March. There are 12 designs in this translucent vellum and the butterflies on this card is one of the designs.

The base card is Rose Red (#108613), the DSP is from the Regals DSP Stack (#130139), Whisper White (#106549) has been used under the vellum and for the sentiment, and the butterfly uses Silver Glimmer Paper (#135314). Happy birthday is from Sketched Birthday stamp set (#c130426, #w130423) using Rose Red ink (#126954) and cut with the Bitty Banners framelits (#129267). The Bitty Butterfly punch (#129406) was used to punch the butterfly. I attached the Vellum to the Whisper White card using the 1/8" Mini Brads (#122941). This was then attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430), as well as the sentiment and butterfly.

So this was another quick and easy card. All went well for my hand operation and I am managing to do most things with my left hand. Hopefully it won't be long before I am back in the craft room. I still have plenty of quick and easy cards to share with you till then.

Click here to view this weeks WEEKLY DEALS.

Guy Greetings

Hello,

As I write this I am waiting for a carpel tunnel operation on my right hand today, and yes, I am right handed so it will slow me down for a week or two. So for the next week or so I will have some quick and easy cards.

One way to make a quick and easy card is using DSP which is what I have done on this card. I used the Adventure Bound DSP stack (#137780). All the images are from Guy Greetings (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178), using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (#132708) and Cajun Craze (#126965). They were cut with the Circle Collection Framelits (#130911). The card used are Cajun Craze (#121683), Basic Black (#121688) and Very Vanilla (#106550).

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

The Open Sea

Welcome,

A quick and easy card today using the Open Sea stamp set (#c123032, #w128454).

The ship was stamped with Island Indigo ink (#126986) as was the sentiment which is from Label Love (#c130622, #w130619). The cardstock is Island Indigo (#124390), Real Red (#106578), Very Vanilla (#106550) and Flashback DSP (#133699). The punch I used for Happy Birthday is the Artisan Label Punch (#130920).

As I said, a quick and easy card.

Bow builder punch

Hello again,

I love how easy it is to make this gorgeous little bow using the Bow builder punch (#137414). I have made this one with Blushing Bride DSP from the Subtles Colour Collection DSP stack (#130135).

Using Blushing Bride card (#131287) for the base card, I cut the scallops on the bottom of the card with the Large Scallop Edgelit (#127019). I then embossed with the Delicate Designs folder (#127023). I added a piece of Whisper White (#106549) under this. Some DSP was then added to the front of the card, then a piece of 5/8" Organza ribbon (#114319) was taped to the card. The butterflies are from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set (#c123759, #w132058) and stamped with Perfect Plum ink (#126963). I stamped the first butterfly as usual, then stamped it again without re-inking - the stamping off method - giving a lighter colour the second time. I punched the butterflies with the coordinating Elegant Butterfly punch (#127526). Happy Birthday from Label Love stamp set (#c130622, #w130619) was also stamped with Perfect Plum ink and punched with the Artisan Label punch (#130920). Perfect Plum card (#108615) was also punched for the sentiment. The sentiment and butterflies were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the bow to the card.

That's all for today,

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Butterfly Basics bundle

Hello,

This is a card I did for one of my card classes recently using the Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154) and Butterflies Thinlits Dies (#137360). These are also available as a bundle (#c139323, #w139322, #p138865) with a 15% saving.

The base card is Pink Pirouette (#116203), with Whisper White (#106549), Strawberry Slush (#131300) and Pistachio Pudding (#131299). I also used Silver Glimmer Paper (#135314) which I punched with the Elegant Butterfly (#127526). The inks are Strawberry Slush (#131178) and Pistachio Pudding (#131177). The Large Scallop Edgelit was used to cut the scallops in the Whisper White and Pistachio Pudding card. I then embossed the White card with the Delicate Designs folder. Happy Birthday is from Crazy About You stamp set (#c138858, #w138856, #p137137). I cut 2 butterflies - 1 with Strawberry Slush card and the other with Pink Pirouette. I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) between each butterfly and to attach the flower which was hand cut.

Have a great weekend.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Something Borrowed DSP

Hi,

The Something Borrowed DSP (#137785) has a beautiful range of patterns in Sahara Sand and Whisper White.

I combined this with Pacific Point card (#116202) and Cajun Craze (#121683). These are the colours combinations suggested in the Colour Coach (#130118) for Sahara Sand. The flowers are from the Embellished Events stamp set (#c126497, #w131984). I used Stampin Write Markers to ink this image. The colours are Pacific Point and Old Olive, both from the Brights collection (#131259). I added some Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to the flower centres. The ribbon is the 5/8" Organza Ribbon (#114319). Congratulations is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (#c126257, #w132022) and cut with the Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267). This was attached on the ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Guy Greetings

Hi ladies,

This is a triple fold card using the anchor from Guy Greetings (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178).

I used Cherry Cobbler (#121681) for the base card and scored at 10cm and 20cm. I glued the DSP from Flashback (#133699) onto the front. Ensure you put glue on the entire area of the DSP. Then cut the front with the Deco Labels Framelits (#130102). I then stamped the anchor on Very Vanilla card (#106550) with Versamark (#102283) and Black Embossing Powder (#102133) and heat set it. This was then cut with the same Framelit as the front, then attached to the inside of the card. The right hand side of the card was cut with smallest of the Deco Labels Framelits. Happy Birthday is from Sketched Birthday stamp set (#c130426, #w130423) and it has a matching Framelit in the Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267). I used the Framelit with the holes from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits to cut the piece for the bottom of the card. I then used some Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine (#123125) and weaved it in through the holes and attached this piece of card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Bye for now.

Happy Stamping!

Big Day

Hello again,

I have had a very busy week but I am back again. For today's card I have used the Big Day stamp set (#c139112, #139109) from Sale-a-bration.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the other cardstock is Crushed Curry (#131288) and Melon Mambo (#119980). The DSP is from the Confetti Celebrations (#133692). To ink the Big Day stamp I used Stampin' Write Markers in Real Red, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point and Melon Mambo from the Brights Collection (#131259), and Crushed Curry from the Regals Collection (#131262). The cup cake from Cupcake Party (#c134126, #w134123) was stamped with Melon Mambo ink (1#26948) and Crushed Curry (#131173) and punched with the Cupcake Builder punch (#121807). The stars are one of the 10 dies from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits dies (#137547). The banners are cut with the Banners Framelits (#132173).

Have a great week,

Lotus Blossom

Hello,

The Two Step stamp set - Lotus Blossoms (#p139143) has been used today. It is a very popular set but is only available till 31st March with Sale-a-bration. It is free with any $90 order.

The cardstock is Pool Party (#124391), Island Indigo (#124390), Rose Red (#108613), Whisper White (#106549) and Subtles DSP pack (#130135). The inks for the blue flowers are Pool Party (#126982) and Island Indigo (#126986). The pink flowers are stamped with Pink Pirouette (#126956) and Rose Red (#126954). When stamping the flowers, I stamped the base image with the lightest colour (Pool party and Pink Pirouette). The next image was stamped using the stamping off method. To do this, ink your image (with Island Indigo or Rose Red), stamp onto scrap paper, then stamp without re-inking onto the card. This give a lighter colour. The 3rd colour was stamped as normal also using Island Indigo and Rose Red. Happy Birthday Wishes come from the Petite Pairs stamp set (#c122497, #w128706) and I used the Four Frames stamp set (#c123442, #w128589) and the coordinating Decorative punch (#120907) also for the sentiment. The Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch (#119275) was also used. The sentiment and pink flower were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Don't forget, time is running out to get this beautiful stamp set, so if you would like to get one free, just contact me.

Flashback DSP

Hello,

Red, Black and White (or on this card - Very Vanilla) is always a great combination.

The cardstock is Real Red (#106578), Basic Black (#121688), Very Vanilla (#106550), Flashback DSP (#133699) and Red Glimmer Paper (#121790). The flowers are from the Flower Shop stamp set (#c130942, #w130939) and For you from Chalk Talk (#c130634, #w130631). They were both stamped with Real Red ink (#106578). The flowers are punched with the Pansy punch (#130698) and the centres are punched with the eyes from the Owl Builder punch (#118074). Circle Collection Framelits (#130911) and Starburst Framelits (#132967) were both used to cut the other circles. As I usually do, I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment and one of the flowers.

Have a great day.

Guy Greetings

Welcome,

Just a simple masculine card today using the Guy Greetings stamp set (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178). This stamp set has 22 stamps which gives great variety for those men in your life.

The base card is Cherry Cobbler (#121681) and the DSP is from the Adventure Bound DSP Stack (#137780) from the Occasions catalogue. I also used Very Vanilla card (#106550). The inks are Early Espresso (#126974) and Cherry Cobbler (#126966). I randomly wrapped some of the Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine (#123125) around the DSP. The Framelits used are the Ovals Collection (#129381) and Banners (#132173). The ovals were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Today's tip: I use half an A4 to make most cards, so I cut the sheet of cardstock at 14.9cm and score at 10.5cm. When I am adding card or DSP as in today's card, I usually cut it at 1cm smaller than the card front, so it is cut at 13.9 cm x 9.5cm.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Deco Labels Collection Framelits

Hello,

The Stippled Blossoms stamp set (#c126747, #w132076) is a favourite of mine at the moment and it just looks beautiful when heat embossed.

The background image of the flower was stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#126975), then the top image was stamped with Versamark (#102283) with Gold Embossing powder (#109129) and heat set. This was then cut with the Deco Labels Collection Framelits (#130102). The cardstock used is Very Vanilla (#106550) and Calypso Coral (#124392). I stamped at the bottom of the card using Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154) for the honeycomb using Crumb. Cake ink. As I have the photopolymer set of these it makes it so easy to stamp this twice and line it up (without the stamp-a-ma-jig). The sentiment from Sassy Salutations (#c126707, #w132070) is also heat embossed in gold. I embossed the Very Vanilla card with the Perfect Polka Dots folder (#117335).

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Butterflies Thinlits dies

Welcome,

I had a piece of White Vellum (#106584) that I had embossed with Versamark (#102283) and White embossing powder (#109132) using the Something Lacy background stamp (#137155) but I hadn't used it. So I decided to use it for the butterfly for this card. I coloured the back with Daffodil Delight ink (#126944) using a dauber. I then cut this with the Butterflies Thinlits dies.

The card stock is Daffodil Delight (#121680), Baked Brown Sugar (#131301) and Whisper White (#106549). The embossing folders used are Honeycomb (#129378) and Woodgrain (#127821). Happy Birthday is from the Label Love stamp set (#c130622, #w130619) and stamped with Baked Brown Sugar ink (#131174). The punch that coordinates with this stamp set is Artisan Label (#130920). A beautiful Something Borrowed Embellishment (#137855) was added to the butterfly.

Bye for now,

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Apothecary Accents Framelits

Hi,

I cut the Strawberry Slush card (#131300) with one of the Apothecary Accents Framelits (#127003), then used the Essentials Paper Piercing template (#126187) to pierce around the edge.

I stamped one of the Flowering Flourishes (#c126367, #w131998) using Versamark (#102283) as I only wanted a subtle image on the Strawberry Slush card. The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the DSP is from Confetti Celebration (#133692). The flowers are from Petal Potpourri (#c138586, #w137141) and Petite Petals (#c133155, #w133152) and stamped with Strawberry Slush ink (#131178) and Bermuda Bay (#131171). Happy Birthday is from Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (#c126257, #w132022) and cut with the Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267). I added a Candy Dot from the Regals collection (#130932) to the flower.

Now it's time for this weeks WEEKLY DEALS. Click here to check them out.

Bow Builder punch

Hi and welcome,

How cute is the bow made with the Bow Builder Punch (#137414).

The base card is Crushed Curry (#131173) and Whisper White card (#106549) was added to this. I stamped this white card with the Something Lacy background stamp (#c138900, #w137155) using Daffodil Delight ink (#126944). I then re stamped Something Lacy with Crushed Curry ink (#131173) and cut out 2 flowers and added them to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The bow was made from the Subtles Colour Collection DSP (#130135) and I added a Something Borrowed Embellishment (#137855) to the bow. Happy Birthday from Sassy Salutations (#c126707, #w132070) was stamped with Crushed Curry ink and I used the Deco Labels Collection Framelits (#130102) to cut this. The Spiral Border punch (#119872) was used on the left side of the Whisper White card.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Butterfly

Hello again,

One of the butterflies from the Butterflies Thinlits Dies (#137360) was used for this simple but elegant card.

I cut the butterfly from a piece of Whisper White (#106549). I then attached this to the base card, also Whisper White, using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I then attached the cut out butterfly to the base card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755) and added some Pearl Basic Jewels (#119246) to the butterfly and on the corners. Happy Birthday is from Petite Pairs (#c122497, #128706) and I used Versamark (#102283) and Silver Embossing powder (#109131).

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.
