Floral Boutique DSP

Hello,

The Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper (#141663) has been used for the background on today's card. This set of DSP has a lovely range of patterns in Night Of Navy and Whisper White.

 

I used Whisper White card (#106549) for the base card, the square and the banner for the sentiment. The square is cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (#145372). This was attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The dragonfly was cut with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies (#142749) from the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (#135315) and also attached with Stampin' Dimensionals. Happy Birthday is from the Guy Greetings stamp set (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178) and stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#126970) and cut with the Banner Framelits (#132173).

Delicate Details with Flourish Thinlits

Hi and welcome,

A pretty card today using the Delicate Details stamp set (#p143314) from Sale-a-bration for the background.

 

The "lace" was stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#126975) on Whisper White card (#106549). The base card and the flourish are Bermuda Bay (#131286). The flourish was cut using one of the dies from the Flourish Thinlits (#141478) and glued to the card with a Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The sentiment was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#131171). This stamp is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154). The oval was cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (#145372), then attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Watercolour Wash with Big On Birthdays

Hello again,

The Watercolor Wash stamp (#c139538, #w138708) is a background stamp which I have used for the background on this card.

 

The base card is Pumpkin Pie (#108601). I used Crumb Cake ink (#126975) to stamp the background on Very Vanilla card (#106550). The sentiment from Big On Birthdays stamp set (#p142877) was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink (#126945). The flowers were cut from Pumpkin Pie card (#108601) and Very Vanilla card, using the Flourish Thinlits  (#141478). The ribbon is from the 3/8" Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack (#143601) from Sale-a-bration. I added a Pearl Basic Jewel (#119247) to the centre of the flower. The Fine-tip Glue Pen (#138309) was used to attach the flowers to the card. Don't forget to replace the cap immediately on this glue pen so the tip doesn't get blocked.

Flourishing Phrases with Falling Petals

Hi,

For the embossing on this card I have used the Falling Petals Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#142761).

 

The cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and Peekaboo Peach (#141422). After embossing the card front I gently sponged the raised petals with Peekaboo Peach ink (#141398). The flower is from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set (#c141538, #w141531) and also stamped with Peekaboo Peach ink. The scalloped circles were cut using the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705). I added a Falling In Love Embellishment (#142791) to the flower. Happy Birthday is from the Balloon Celebration stamp set (#p140675). This was cut with a framelit from the Project Life Cards & Labels (#135707). You might be thinking that this looks shorter than the framelit in this set. Well yes it is. To make it shorter, firstly place the framelit closer to the "H", so there will be more space at the end. Then after cutting, place the framelit the same distance from the "y" and recut, as shown below.

 

The ribbon is the 3/8" Ruched Ribbon in Peekaboo Peach (#141427). When I attach ribbon to a card I put tape on the card rather than the ribbon. I find this easier for me. Then when possible, tuck it under the card front so ther are no raw edges showing on the card. The sentiment was then attached over the ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The circles were also attached with Dimensionals.

Hopefully today will see the end of this heatwave. Keep cool everyone.

Country Livin'

Hi everyone,

It's time for a masculine card. These boots are from the Country Livin' stamp set (#c141925, #w141922).

 

The boots and sentiment are stamped with Early Espresso ink (#126974) onto Very Vanilla card. The Very Vanilla card was cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (#145372). Happy Birthday To You is from the Circle Of Spring stamp set (#p138964).  The base card is Crumb Cake (#121685), and I have backed the DSP and the Very Vanilla card with Early Espresso card (#121686). The DSP is from the Moroccan Designer Series Paper (#141645). Both the sentiment and the boots were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stylish Stems Framelits Dies

Hello ladies and gents,

Here is a beautiful card I will be using for a Sympathy card, but would suit any special occasion.

 

I have used Shimmery White for the base card, the  card front and banner for the sentiment. The small flowers and the piece under the large flower is from the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (#135315). The flowers are cut using the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies (#142750). The silver and white ribbon is from the Sale-a-bration 3/8" Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack (#143601). With Sympathy is from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set (#c141534, #w1415310), stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with the Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109131) then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with a framelit from the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies. I lightly sponged the edges with Pink Pirouette ink (#126956). I used Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the sentiment to the card as well as the card front to the base card.

Falling In Love Designer Series Paper

Hi,

The Falling In Love DSP (#142788) has a beautiful range of designs including this one with butterflies,

 

The base card is Sweet Sugarplum (#141423), and the next layer is Soft Sky (#131292). I have used the Lace Doilies (#142793) under the circles which were cut with the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705) and Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (#145372). I stamped the sentiment from the Avant Garden stamp set (#p143272) using Sweet Sugarplum ink (#141395) on Very Vanilla card (#106550). The 3/8" Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack (#143601) is from the Sale-a-bration products as is the Avant Garden stamp set.  I used the vanilla and gold ribbon. The other ribbon in this pack is silver and white. Then I finished off the card with the Falling In Love Embellishment (#142791) which I attached to the ribbon using a Mini Glue Dot (#103683).

Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies

Hello,

Some framelits and DSP means a quick and easy card.

 

The DSP is from the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack (#141642). The base card is Old Olive (#106576), the DSP was mounted onto Basic Black card (#121688). The sentiment from The Big On Birthdays stamp set (#p142877)  was stamped on Whisper White card (#106549) using Archival Basic Black ink (#140931), then cut with the framelit from the Project Life Cards & Labels (#135707). I sponged the edges with Old Olive ink (#126953). The dragonfly was cut with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies (#142749) from Basic Black card and attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Special Reason Bundle

Welcome friends,

These flowers and leaves are stamped and cut using the Special Reason Bundle (#c144720, #w144719).

 

The base card and card front are Whisper White (#106549). I embossed the card front with the Sparkle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#141468) and I used the de-embossed side. Each of the flowers were stamped with the same coloured ink as the cardstock. The large flower is Rich Razzleberry ink (#126950) on Rich Razzleberry card (#119981). For the small flowers I used Tempting Turquoise ink (#126952) and card (#108598), Crushed Curry ink (#126966) and card (#131288) and Bermuda Bay ink (#131171) and card (#131286). For the leaves I used Silver Foil Sheets (#132178). The flowers and leaves were cut with the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies (#142750). The ribbon is a retired one from the previous holiday catalogue. The banner and "celebrate" are from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set (#p141614) and stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink. The banner is punched with the Duet Banner punch (#141483). The large flower and banner were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The Fine Tip Glue Pen (#138309) was used to attach the leaves. White Perfect Accents (#138416) were used for the centre of the flowers.

Cool Treats Bundle

Hello,

With all the hot weather we have had lately I am sure we could all enjoy one of these cute little ice-creams from the Cool Treats Bundle (#p145181).

 

The Cool Treats stamp set (#p142982) was used for the top of the ice-cream, using Pink Pirouette ink (#126956) and Real Red ink (#126949). The cones and ice-cream were cut with the Frozen Treats Framelits Dies (#142756). There are 36 photopolymer stamps in this set so lots of variety to make all types of ice-creams as well as a choice of greetings. The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549), Real Red (#106578), Tempting Turquoise (#108598), Crumb Cake (#121685) and Soft Suede (#119982). I embossed the Tempting Turquoise card with the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#141481). The ovals were cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (#145372). The Happy Birthday and the little heart are from the Any Occasion stamp set (#143348) which is one of the Sale-a-bration sets. I added some glitter to the red on the ice-cream using the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897).

Work Of Art

Hello,

Here is a super easy card, so great for those times when you need a card in a hurry.

 

I used Whisper White (#106549) for the card and Rich Razzleberry (#119981) for the flower. The background was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#131171), Calypso Coral (#124983) and Crushed Curry (#131173) using an image from the Work Of Art stamp set (#c134114, #w134111). The greeting is from the Avant Garden stamp set (#p143272), one of the free Sale-a-bration products. This was stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink (#126950). The flower was cut with the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies (#142750), then glued to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper

Hi,

Did you know that you can stamp on the Dazzling Diamond Glimmer paper (#135315)? Well, you can stamp on the other colours but would need to use a darker coloured ink.

 

I have stamped the balloons from the Balloon Celebration stamp set (#p140675) using Sweet Sugarplum ink (#141395) onto the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. The balloons were then punched with the Balloon Bouquet punch (#140609). These are the smaller balloons. The square was cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (#145372), then I coloured the card with Sweet Sugarplum ink using an Aqua Painter (#103954). The balloon strings are also from the Balloon Celebration set. The banner and greeting are from the Birthday Banners stamp set (#p141506) and the banner was cut with the co-ordinating Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488). This was attached to the card with Stamping Dimensionals (#104430). The bow is from the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies (#141851) that was in the Holiday catalogue and can still be ordered. This was attached with a Glue Dot (#103683). The Whisper White base card (#106549) was embossed with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#139672), the bow is Sweet Sugarplum (#141423) and the square is Shimmery White card (#121717).

So In Love Bundle

Hi and welcome,

These elegant framelits in the So Detailed Thinlits Dies (#142751) are ideal for a special occasions card, and I have teamed it with the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper (#142788). This is another simple but elegant card.

 

The base card is Blushing Bride (#131287) and I stamped the sentiment with Blushing Bride ink (#131172) on Very Vanilla card (#106550). Just for you is from the So In Love stamp set (#c143216, #w143112), which is part of the So In Love Bundle (#c144739, #w144738). Silver Foil Sheets (#132178) were used to cut the butterfly using the Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135) and the detailed band at the top using the So detailed Thinlits Dies. The sentiment and butterfly were attached with Stampin' Dimesionals (#104430).

Big On Birthdays

Hello again,

These cards were inspired by one of my ladies asking about colouring and blending colours on stamped images, then showing her water colouring backgrounds. It's not something I do very often so thought it was time to play with this method. I was happy with the results, so must do this more often.

 

 

For the top card, I used Shimmery White card (#121717) and the bottom card I used Watercolour Paper (#122959) to do the watercolouring. Both these types of cardstock are ideal when watercolouring. I used an Aqua Painter (#103954) to apply the ink to the card. Once you are happy with the colouring of the background, ensure it is dry before stamping. I dried it using the Heat Tool (#129056). The ink used was Pacific Point (#126951) for the top card and Bermuda Bay (#131171) for the other. The stamp set used is Big On Birthdays (#p142877) for the sentiment and flowers. I used Pacific Point card (#116202) with the Shimmery White card, and Very Vanilla (#106550) and Bermuda Bay (#131286) were used with the Watercolour Paper.
