Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper

Hello again,

The Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (#148812) is perfectly named, as it is beautiful. This pack consists of full 12”x12” sheets as well as smaller designs for cards as I have used on today’s card, and some border pieces.

One side of the paper is Petal Pink and the other is white. I used the white side. I glued this to the Blueberry Bushel base card (#146991) using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). I then added a frame around the outside of the Laser cut paper. This frame was cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits (#148551) from Whisper White card (#106549). The sentiment is from the Rooted In Nature stamp set (#c146482, #w146479) and stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). The ovals were cut with dies from the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706). I used Silver Foil Sheet (#132178) for the larger oval and the leaves which are from the Wonderful Florals Framelits (#148529). I added Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) to the sentiment. The ovals were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) for the leaves.

Lovely Lattice

Hi everyone,

Sale-a-bration is coming to an end for another year. But you do have a couple more days to get your free products before they are gone - till 31st March. The Lovely Lattice stamp set (#cling149730) used on this card is one of the beautiful stamp sets from Sale-a-bration.

I stamped the image onto a sheet of the Wood Textures 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#144177) using Tuxedo Black Momento ink (#132708). I also stamped it onto Real Red card (#106578) and fussy cut the flowers which I then attached over the original images, some with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I added some Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the stamens on each flower. The ribbon is Black/Silver 1/4” Striped Metallic ribbon (#148486). Happy Birthday is from the Cake Soirée stamp set (#c145745, #w145521) and stamped with Real Red ink (#147084) on Very vanilla card (#106550). The sentiment was punched with the 1-3/4” Scallop Punch (#146139) and the Basic Black card (#121688) under the sentiment was cut with one of the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705). The base card is Very Vanilla and Basic Black was used to matt the card front.

Beach Happy

Hello,

This is a card I made for a friend’s 90th Birthday. Hope he likes it.

The chair, umbrella and tree are all from Beach Happy stamp set (#p148585). I stamped the chair and umbrella with Blueberry Bushell (#146991), Balmy Blue (#147007) and So Saffron (#108611). The tree trunk was stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) and the leaves with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129). “Happy Birthday” is from the Botanical Bliss stamp set (#c146612, #w146609) and “Relax...” is from Beach Happy stamp set and both stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink. “90” is cut with the retired Number framelits using Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) and glued with the Fine -Tip Glue Pen (#138309) to the Whisper White card front (#106549). The base card is Blueberry Bushel. Using a dauber (#133773), I sponged Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104) for the grass and Balmy Blue ink (#147105) for the sky. I felt before sponging these colours, there was something missing on the card.

Let It Ride

Hi & Welcome,

Here’s a quick and easy card and great for any horse lover.

I stamped the horse from Let It Ride stamp set (#cling148756) using Soft Suede ink (#147115). I used Shimmery White card (#121717) as this is best for watercolouring. I added the green and blue colour with an Aqua Painter (#103954) with Olive Olive ink (#147090) and Balmy Blue ink (#147105). I cut the Soft Suede card (#119982) and the stamped card front with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (#148551). I think I use these framelits more than any other at the moment, they are so versatile. “For you” is also from the Let It Ride stamp set and this was cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits 145372) and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Floral Romance suite

Hello,

The Floral Romance suite consists of a variety of beautiful elegant products which I have used some on this elegant card.

The sentiment and floral images are from the Wonderful Romance stamp set (#cling148632). They were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). These were then cut with dies from the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies (#148529). The cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and the Designer Series Paper is Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper (#148586). This DSP is printed Vellum and is just gorgeous. I attached the DSP to Very Vanilla card using  Gold Metallic Brads (#146929). These brads also come in Copper, Rose Gold and Silver in the pack.  I then attached the card front to the base card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I coloured the 3 flowers using Light And Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends (#147272) and Light Crumb Cake (#144582) for the centre of the flowers. The bow was made with the Petal Pink/Whisper White 5/8” Varigated Ribbon (#148776) and attached to the card with a Mini Glue Dot (#103683).

Climbing Roses & Gingham Gala DSP

Hi everyone,

I made a number of these cards in a variety of colours using the Gingham Gala 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#148554). These 2 cards are Highland Heather and Lemon Lime Twist.

I stamped the flowers from the Climbing Roses stamp set (#148658), using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto the DSP. Happy Anniversary is from the Well Said stamp set (#cling148796), stamped on Whisper White card (#106549) and cut with a die from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits (#148527). The heart shape that I used actually cuts 2 pieces at once - the inside heart and the border. So I also cut the heart in the colour card I required and used that around the white heart. The card colours I used here are Highland Heather (#147010) and Lemon Lime Twist (#144250). I used Basic Black card (#121688) to matt the DSP, as well as the fancy border piece which was cut with a die from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits. I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) before cutting the border and the coloured hearts. Alternatively, you can use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen

(#138309), but I find the adhesive sheets so much easier.

When making Multiple cards, the Stamparatus (#148187) is such a handy tool, as you only have to set it up once and just keep stamping. It also allows you to stamp more than once if necessary to give perfect results.

Climbing Roses Bundle

Hello & Welcome,

I have used the Climbing Roses Bundle (#cling150603) for this beautiful Sympathy card.

The only cardstock I have used is Whiper White (#106549). I stamped the flowers from the Climbing Roses stamp set (#148658) using VersaMark (#102283), added Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109131) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). There is a co-ordinating die in the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies (#148549) to cut the flowers. The “trellis” and label for the  sentiment were  also cut with the same set of dies. I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) on the back of the card for the “trellis”. The sentiment was also silver embossed and this sentiment is in the Painted Glass stamp set (#c147461, #w147458). The flowers and sentiment are both attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I added the Pearl Basic Jewels (#144219) under the sentiment.

Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper

Welcome friends,

You can get this beautiful Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper (#149574) free with a $90 order, or its also available with the co-ordinating Painted Seasons stamp set in a bundle (#150349) with a $180 order.

I have only used the DSP on this card. Each sheet of DSP has lovely floral images on one side and various all purpose patterns on the other. The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the other card stock is Poppy Parade (#121694). The sentiment from the Darling Label stamp set, which is part of the Darling Label Punch Box (#146855), was stamped with Poppy Parade ink (#147050). The hearts were cut with dies from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies (#148527). The ribbon is Poppy Parade Textured Weave (#147813). I added Red Rhinestones (#146924) to the heart.

Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Hello,

This beautiful Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#149698) is part of Sale-a-bration, but if you do miss out on getting it, it will be available to purchase in the next annual catalogue, but I am sure you would like to get it for free.

I used this folder to emboss the Champagne Foil Sheet (#144748). I attached this to Basic Black card (#121688), then to Real Red base card (#106578). The ribbon is Black/Silver 1/4” Striped Metallic Ribbon (#148486) and the bow was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). “Thank You” is cut with the Thank You Thinlits (#146832) from Real Red card. As usual I had used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) on the Real Red card before cutting the sentiment.

With such beautiful detail in this embossing folder, I think a simple card is best.

Painted Seasons

Hello friends,

The Painted Seasons stamp set (#cling149722) is the perfect set for all seasons, and is one of the sale-a-bration products, available till 31st March, so time is running out for you to get this beautiful set.

I stamped the flower and “birthday” with Lovely Lipstick ink (#147140) and the leaves with Lemon Lime Twist (#147145) on Whisper White card (#106549). “Birthday” is from the Well Said stamp set (#cling148796). “Happy” is cut with a die from the Well Written Framelits Dies (#148534). This stamp set and dies are available in a bundle - Well Said bundle - (#150609), which saves you 10%. The Well Said stamp set has 51 stamps for every occasion and there are 24 dies which pair well with the stamps. The Whisper White base card was embossed with the Pinewood Planks 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#143708). The other cardstock is Lovely Lipstick (#146993) and Lemon Lime Twist (#144250). I had adhered the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) to the Lovely Lipstick card before cutting “happy”.

I used the Masking method to stamp the leaves. To do this, stamp the flower onto a post it note and cut out the flower. Place this over the stamped flower on the card, so when you stamp the leaves the image will be stamped over the flower on the post it note. When that is removed you have the perfectly stamped image.

By The Bay

Welcome everyone,

Firstly, I have been reminiscing after coming across some old stamps I had as a kid and just loved stamping with them. Of course back then (about 55 - 60 years ago) we only had one coloured ink. So my love of stamping goes back a long way. These are the stamps -

Now to today’s card. I like the simplicity of this black and white card using the By The Bay stamp set (#cling149739).

I embossed the Whisper White base card (#106549) with the Subtles 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing folder (#143706). The scene and sentiment were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The white  and Basic Black card (#121688) were cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (#148551). The circles were cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372) and the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705). The ribbon is Black/Silver 1/4” Striped Metallic Ribbon (#148486). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the rectangle and circle to the card.

Botanical Butterflies DSP

Hello,

I am just loving this Botanical Butterflies Designer Series Paper (#149622) as part of  Sale-a-bration.

Each layer is cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (#148551), another favourite of mine. I used Whisper White card (#106549), Grapefruit Grove (#146995) and the Botanical Butterfles DSP. The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set (#p148580) and stamped with the Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708).  I punched a butterfly from the DSP which co-ordinates with the Butterfly Duet Punch (#148523). This was attached to the card with a Stampin’ Dimensional (#104430), then I added some Metallic Pearls (#146282) to the butterfly and card.

All Adorned - Sale-a-bration

Hi everyone,

I just received the All Adorned stamp set (#cling149728) which is a Sale-a-bration set and just had to start playing with it. I teamed it up with the doilies cut with the Doily Builder Thinlits Dies (#148553).

I stamped the image from All Adorned stamp set using Pineapple Punch ink (#147141). The Stamparatus (#148187) makes it so easy to stamp the images in each corner. I cut the Whisper White card (#106549) to 10cm x10cm and just rotated the card each time I stamped. The Doilies were cut from Pineapple Punch card (#146994) and I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) on the back. The white card was attached to a piece of Basic Black card (#121688). The base card was embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder (#139672). I also used Basic Black to cut “Celebrate” & “You” from the Celebrate You Thinlits (#146840).

Embossing on Vellum

Hello & Welcome,

I often have customers ask what can you do with vellum. Well the answer is basically whatever you can do with card. Here I have heat embossed the leaves onto vellum.

I stamped the leaves from the Wonderful Romance stamp set (#cling148632) onto Vellum cardstock (#106584) using VersaMark (#102283). I used White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109132) which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). Remember to rub the vellum (or card) with an Embossing Buddy (#103083) before stamping to prevent extra powder sticking to your project. If any powder is still on the card, a small paint brush can remove any unwanted powder before heating. The base card is Lemon Lime Twist (#144250) and the Designer Series Paper is from the Gingham Gala 6”x6” DSP (#148554). The ribbon is also Lemon Lime Twist from Sale-a-bration. I hope you were able to get this while it was in stock. Unfortunately it is sold out but there are still heaps of free products available. “Happy Birthday” is from the Birthday Wishes For You stamp set (#c145742, #w145739) and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). I attached the vellum in the corners with Mini Glue Dots (#103683), then added the Glitter Enamel Dots (#146934) on top so the dots aren’t visible.

Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper

The Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper (#149622) is one of the Sale-a-bration products, free with a $90 order. This DSP has one side which is coloured and the other side is black and white. For all the butterfly lovers (like me) you will just love it. You can colour the black & white images or leave them as is like I did on this gorgeous card.

Climbing Roses with Gingham Gala DSP

Welcome everyone,

Doesn’t this Highland Heather Gingham Gala 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#148554) make a beautiful background? 

I have 5 layers on this card, starting with Whisper White base card (#106549), Gorgeous Grape (#147011), Gingham Gala DSP, another Gorgeous Grape and Whisper White. The sentiment is from the Painted Glass stamp set (#c147461, #w147458) and stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099). The image under the sentiment is from the Climbing Roses stamp set (#cling148658). I stamped this also with Gorgeous Grape ink using the stamping off method. The 2 top rectangles were cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (#148551). I cut the flower/leaves image with a die from the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies (#148549) from both Gorgeous Grape card and Granny Apple Green card (#147014) which had the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#14416) adhered to the back. I cut the leaves off the Gorgeous Grape flower and then attached the flower on top of the Granny Apple Green flower, then attached it to the card.

Country Floral Dynamic TIEF

Hello friends,

The Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#149698) is a new Sale-a-bration product and isn’t it just beautiful, so doesn’t need a lot of other detail with it.

Before embossing the Soft Sea Foam card front (#147012) I brayered one side of the Embossing Folder with Lemon Lime Twist Ink (#147145), then embossed the card to give a lovely subtle colour to the card. Then I used the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) just on the Rose to add some glitter (you probably can’t see it in the photo). I attached the cardfront to Basic Black card (#121688), then wrapped the Black 3/8” Glittered Organdy Ribbon (#147897) around the card, before attaching this to the Lemon Lime Twist base card (#144250). Happy Birthday is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set (#c146667, #w146664) and stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink. I punched the sentiment with the Classic Label punch (#141491) and attached it to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Geared Up Garage

Welcome Ladies & Guys,

I needed a card for our grandson so this is the finished card.

The Designer Series Paper is from the Classic Garage 6”x6” DSP (#148482). I stamped the car from the Geared Up Garage stamp set (#cling148590) using Shaded Spruce ink (#147088), then cut it with the co-ordinating die from the Garage Gears Thinlits Dies (#148521). I attached this with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) over the same shape car on the DSP. Happy Birthday is from Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set (#143662), also stamped with Shaded Spruce ink on Whisper White card (#106549). The sentiment was cut with a Rectangle Stitched Framelits Die (#148551). I think these are my favourite dies at the moment. I used Shaded Spruce card (#147006) under the sentiment and Designer Series Paper. The gears were cut from Silver Foil Sheet (#132178) using dies from the Garage Gears Thinlits.

Beach Happy and By The Bay

Hi,

Today I combined the Beach Happy stamp set (#p148585) with the By The Bay stamp set (#cling149739).

All the images are stamped on Whisper White card (#106549) using Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138), Balmy Blue ink (#147105) and So Saffron ink (#147109). The chair and umbrella are from Beach Happy stamp set, Happy Birthday is from the Itty Bitty Greetings (#c146667, #w146664) and the birds and shells are from the By The Sea stamp set (#cling149739). I used the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (#148551) to cut the rectangle with the chair & umbrella. The blue card is Balmy Blue (#147007).

By the Bay stamp set is one of the Sale-a-bration products. You still have till the end of March to get some free products, but don’t leave it till it’s too late as I would hate you to miss out.

Dear Doily Bundle

Hello,

I have stamped the doilies from the Dear Doily stamp set (#cling148690), then cut a doily from the Doily Builder Thinlits Dies (#148553). These are also available together in  the Dear Doily Bundle (#150616).

The cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106549) and Flirty Flamingo (#141421). I stamped the doilies using the stamping off method, which means I stamped onto scrap paper first then onto the card to achieve a lighter image. I used Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052). I adhered the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) to Flirty Flamingo card before cutting the doily, then this was attached to the card front. The butterfly from the Butterfly Gala stamp set (#p148580) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109131), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I attached the butterfly to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The sentiment also from the Butterfly Gala stamp set was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink then cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (#148551). With 13 framelits in this set I find them very versatile.

Let It Ride

Welcome friends,

The Let It Ride stamp set (#cling148765) has 3 horse images plus sentiments. The horses can just be stamped or you can add some extra colour with your favourite colouring products.

I chose to heat embossed the horse using VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I cut the circle in the Very Vanilla card front (#106550) with a die from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies (#141705). I also cut circles from  Grapefruit Grove card (#146995) with the Circle Framelits. The card front was then embossed with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#147906). Before embossing, I applied Grapefruit Grove ink (#147142) with a Sponge Brayer (#141714) to one side of the embossing folder, then embossed as normal. This transfers the ink onto the card while embossing for a beautiful look. Happy Birthday is from the Balloon Celebration stamp set (#140675) and stamped with Grapefruit Grove ink. The 2 rectangles for the sentiment were cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (#148551) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I stamped a border under the horse with an image from the Stitched All Around stamp set (#c146632, #w146629).

Dear Doily Bundle

Welcome,

Have you seen the lovely Dear Doily Bundle (#cling 150616) in the Occasions catalogue. I can see so many possibilities with these for both cards and scrapbooking. I have teamed them up with the gorgeous Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper (#148586).

The base card is Fresh Fig (#144248). I have attached the DSP to a piece of Whisper White card (#106549). This particular piece of DSP is printed Vellum and looks very elegant. I have attached the DSP and white card together with Gold Brads from the Metallic Brads (#146929). I find using brads is the easiest way to attach Vellum to card. I cut 2 doilies with the Doily Builder Thinlits Dies (#148553) - one from Fresh Fig card and the other from Whisper White. I used the inside piece of the white to stamp the sentiment using Fresh Fig ink (#147144), attached this to the card then attached the outside Fresh Fig Doily. You can use the outside of the White Doily on another card. I had adhered the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) to the Fresh Fig card and Whisper White card before cutting. The sentiment is from the Dear Doily stamp set (#cling148690). The fancy cutouts along the bottom of the card are also cut with the Doily Builder Framelits.

Beach Happy

Hi everyone,

How cute are these images in the Beach Happy stamp set (#p148585). Images include a chair & umbrella, palm tree, picnic basket and hat as well as Greetings and some of the images have 2 step stamping.

I have used Whisper White card (#106549) and Blueberry Bushel (#146991) as well as Gingham Gala 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#148554). This DSP has 5 different colours - Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather and Lemon Lime Twist. One side has a small check design, the other a larger check. The chair and umbrella were stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). For the stripes on the chair I used Balmy Blue ink (#147105). The tree was stamped with Soft Suede ink (#147115) and Old Olive ink (#147090) and the basket with Soft Suede and Crumb Cake (#147116). I used the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (#148551) to cut the 3 pieces of Whisper White card. I cut the leaves of the tree and the basket by hand and attached these to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment was stamped with Blueberry Bushel.

Colourful Seasons

Hello again,

The technique I used for this card is the “Baby Wipes” technique. “An oldie but a goodie”. This works best with a solid stamp image like these leaves. All these images are from the Colorful Seasons stamp set (#p143726).

Firstly I stamped the sentiment using Soft Suede ink (#147115), then I stamped the outline of the leaves also with Soft Suede. Now to the Baby Wipes technique. Fold a baby wipe in half or quarters, and place on a plate or other flat surface. Add small amounts of Stampin’ Ink Refill randomly on the baby wipe. The ink will gradually spead, so if there are small gaps it won’t be a problem. I used Pear Pizzaz refill (#131160), Grapefruit Grove (#147181), Pineapple Punch (#147180) and So Saffron (#105225). When I inked each image I moved the stamp to a different area so the colours on the leaves were all in different places. Below is what the baby wipe looked like with the ink added.

The base card is Crushed Curry (#131288) and the cardfront is Very Vanilla (#106550). This is an easy technique but very effective. You will be able to make multiple cards with this.
