Seasonal Bells Christmas card

Welcome,

I have embossed these bells with the Real Red Glitter Stampin' Emboss Powder (#142635). This gives a lovely glittery look but not sure if it shows on this photo. You need to useVersaMark (#102283) with the embossing powder, and set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

The bells are from the Seasonal Bells stamp set (#c142107, #w142104) as is the sentiment. The sentiment is stamped with Real Red ink (#126949).  The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Real Red (#106578). The stars were punched with the Confetti Stars Border punch (#135861) and the bells were punched with the Bell punch (#141846). One bell was glued to the card while the other was attached using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I added the bow, which I made from 1/8" Gold Ribbon (#134583), using a Mini Glue Dot (#103683).

Have a great weekend.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Merriest Wishes Bundle

Hello everyone,

There are so many bundles available in the holiday catalogue and the Merriest Wishes bundle (#c143520, #w143519) is very versatile with a range of tags that you can create with them. I have used them here on this card.

The stamp set (#c142066, #w142063) consists of 11 images and the co-ordinating Merry Tags Framelits Dies (#141835) has 7 dies. The precision Base Plate (#139684) is recommended to cut these detailed images. The tags were stamped with Cucumber Crush ink (#138324) and Real Red ink (#126949) on Whisper White card (#106549). I cut the bottom tag from Whisper White card, Cucumber Crush card (#138342) and Soft Suede card (#119982). I cut the trees from the green card and the reindeer from the brown card and glued them to the white card. I used the Copper Metallic Thread (#141696) to hang the tags. The base card is Night Of Navy (#106577) and the card front is Soft Sky (#131292). This was embossed with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#139672). The tags were glued to the card using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Botanical Builder Framelits

Hello again,

I often have ladies tell me they don't like stamping. Not sure why! However with all the beautiful framelits that Stampin' Up! have, you don't always need to do a lot of stamping to make a card.

All these pieces were cut using the Botanical Builder Framelits (#140625). I did stamp the green leaf with an image from the Botanical Blooms stamp set (#p140757) before cutting with the framelit. I used Pear Pizzaz ink (#131180) on Pear Pizzaz card (131290). I used Real Red card (#106578), Pacific Point (#116202) and Basic Black (#121688) for the flowers. The other cardstock is So Saffron (#108611) and Whisper White (#106549). Happy Birthday from Guy Greetings stamp set (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178) was stamped with Crushed curry ink (#131173). The red flower was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) and the others were glued with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

That's all for today.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Starlight Thinlits Dies

Hello ladies,

As soon as I saw these framelits -Starlight Thinlits Dies (#141840) I knew I just had to have them, as well as the Star Of Light stamp set (#p142110). There are 7 dies in the set which all mix and match, so lots of possibilities with this bundle (#143508).

The cardstock is Night Of Navy (#106577) and Whisper White (#106549) as well as Silver Glimmer Paper (#135314). I stamped the background with  Soft Sky ink (#131181) using the "star trail swirl" image from the Star Of Light stamp set. Happy Christmas, including the banner is from the Seasonal Bells stamp set (#142104). I used Night Of Navy ink (#126970). The co-ordinating Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488) were used to cut this. The sentiment was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The blue star was also attached with Dimensionals. The silver star was glued using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Paisleys and Posies

Hello,

A great advantage with the photopolymer stamps is that you can easily place the stamps on an acrylic block and stamp them all at once. This is particularly helpful when using embossing powder as I have on this card.

The stamps arranged on the acrylic block -

Another advantage with photopolymer stamps is that they are flexible, so you can be more creative with them. On this card I have curved the sentiment above the Paisley stamps, instead of it being straight.
The stamp set I have used is Paisleys & Posies (#p142196). The Watermelon Wonder image was cut with the  co-ordinating set of Framelits - the Paisley Framelits (#141849), which is also available as a bundle (#p143515), which means you save 10%.  All the stamped images were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder (#141636) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Watermelon Wonder (#138341). The greeting was cut with the framelit from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits (#135707) then attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Best Birds

Hi everyone,

A small piece of DSP can add an extra touch to a simple card. The DSP used here is the Moroccan Designer Series Paper (#141645)

I used Very Vanilla card (#106550) with Early Espresso (#121686) for the branches. The bird was stamped with Delightful Dijon ink (#138327), and the background behind the bird was stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#126975). I used Early Espresso ink (#126974) for the Happy birthday. All these stamps are from the Best Birds stamp set (#p141525). The co-ordinating Framelits used to cut the bird is the Birds & Blooms Thinlits Dies (#141477). These are also available in a bundle (#142315). The "branches" were cut using the Flourish Thinlits (#141478). I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the bird to the card and I glued the branches using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

That's all for another day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Seasonal Bells wedding card

Hello,

We have a wedding to go to next weekend and this is the card I made for the lovely couple.

I used a full sheet of Shimmery White card (#121717) and folded it in half so I created a large card. I used the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate (#141653) for the background. The labels were cut with the Lots Of Labels Framelits (#138281) from Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) and Shimmery White card. The white card was then embossed with the Elegant Dots folder (#138287). The bells and sentiment from the Seasonal Bells stamp set (#c142107, #w142104) are stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with the Gold Embossing Powder (#109129). The bells are punched with the co-ordinating Bell Punch (#141846). This stamp set and punch are also available as a bundle (#c143533, #w143532) and you can find them in the Holiday catalogue. The sentiment was cut with the Layering Oval Framelits (#141706). The ribbon is Gold 5/8" Satin Ribbon (#134547). I added a gold Metallic Enamel Shape (#141678) to the top of the bells.

That's all for today.
Happy Stamping!

Flourish Thinlits

Hi again,

The Flourish Thinlits (#141478) which I have used for this card, have a lot of intricate pieces, so the Precision Base Plate (#139684) is required to be used as part of your "sandwich" when cutting, which makes the removal of all the little pieces much easier. Also rolling it through the Big Shot several times will help.

The Die Brush (#140603) is another great product to help remove the small pieces from the dies. I have used Bermuda Bay (#131286) for the base card, flower and larger oval. The card front is from the Pop Of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper (#141648). I used the Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) for the stems and leaves. Happy Birthday is from the Rose Wonder stamp set (#p140697), stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder (#109129) on Whisper White card (#106549). The ovals were cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706) and attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The flowers were glued to the card using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Have a great weekend.

Happy Stamping!

Vertical Greetings

Hello,

There are times when you want a Vertical Greeting, so this stamp set, Vertical Greetings (#c141876, #w141873) is the perfect set with 6 different vertical greetings - Happy Birthday, For You, Congrats, Thank You, Just Because and I Love You.

There are also 3 pot plant images included in the set. I stamped the greeting and the pot and heart using the Rich Razzleberry Ombré Stampin' Pad (#141609). This gives you dark ink on one end and fading to lighter on the other end. I used the Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker from the Brights Collection (#131259) for the stem. The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the larger Label is Rich Razzleberry (#119981). The DSP is Irresistibly Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper (#141644). This is a white-on-white floral design which shows the design when inked. I rolled the Rich Razzleberry ink (#126950) onto this paper with a Sponge Brayer (#141714). When you have the required amount of ink, just rub the paper with a tissue to remove the ink from the raised images which then reveals the images. The labels were cut with the Lots Of Labels Framelits (#138281) and these were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Bloomin' Love

Hello,

The stamp set used for the heart and sentiment is the Bloomin' Love stamp set (#p140643).

Melon Mambo ink (#126948) was used to stamp these images as this co-ordinates with the Pop Of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper (#141648). The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Melon Mambo (#119980). I used the 1/8" Stitched Ribbon, also in Melon Mambo (#141650). The silver  flower was cut with a framelit from the Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits (#140621) with the Silver Glimmer Paper (#135314). The flower was attached to the card with a Stampin' Dimensional (#104430) and I also added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel the the centre of the flower. You probably can't see it on the photo but I added some glitter to the pink flowers using the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897).

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Best Birds Birthday

Hello ladies,

There is a great range of bundles available in the Stampin' Up! catalogues including the Best Birds Bundle (#p142315). The bundle includes the stamp set and co-ordinating framelits which makes life so much easier as you don't need to cut the images by hand. The Best Birds stamp set (#p141525) and the Birds & Blooms Thinlits Dies (#141477) can be purchased separately, but when you purchase any bundle you save 10%. The large bird and sentiment are both from the Best Birds stamp set.

The other bundle used here is the Swirly Bird Bundle (#p142353) which was used for the swirls and the small bird. Also you can purchase the Swirly Bird stamp set (#p141749) and the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits (#141497) separately.
The cardstock used is Dapper Denim (#141419), Cherry Cobbler (#121681) and Very Vanilla (#106550). The inks are Dapper Denim (#141394), Cherry Cobbler (#126966) and So Saffron (#126957). The small bird does have to be cut by hand as there is no framelit for that. The Dapper Denim swirlwas glued to the card with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). The birds were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Hope you are having a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Santa's Sleigh

 Hi,

I can't believe I have just made my first Christmas card for this year. There is a great range of Christmas stamp sets and framelits in the Holiday catalogue and today I have used the Santa's Sleigh stampset (#p142057). There are 15 stamps in this set and it co-ordinates with the Santa's Sleigh Thinlits dies (#142057) which were used to cut out all these pieces.

The base card is Night Of Navy (#106577) and the card front is Soft Sky (#131292). I embossed the soft sky card with the Softly Falling folder (#139672). The greeting is stamped with Real Red ink (#126949). I stamped the reindeer with Soft Suede ink (#126978) onto Soft Suede card (#119982). The teddy was stamped with Soft Suede ink on Crumb Cake card (#121685). The presents and bows were stamped onto Whisper White card using Night Of Navy ink (#126970) and Real Red ink. The sleigh was cut from Basic Black card (#121688) and Gold Foil Sheets (#132622). These were glued together with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The reindeer and sleigh were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Guy Greetings

Hello and welcome,

It's a while since I made a masculine card so here is one today using the Guy Greetings stamp set (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178).

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Cherry Cobbler (#121681). The Designer Series Paper is from the Neutrals DSP Stack (#138435) and I used the gold from this stack. The car from Guy Greetings stamp set was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966). The ovals were cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706). The banner was cut with the Banners Framelits (#132173). The sentiment is from the Circle Of Spring stamp set (#138964) and also stamped with the Cherry Cobbler ink. The White Oval was attached to the Scalloped oval using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

That's all for today.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Flourish Thinlits

Hello everyone,

There is so much choice in Framelits from Stampin' Up! and this is one of my favourites (although I do have a lot of favourites). The ones I have used today are from the Flourish Thinlits (#141478).

The flower was cut from Elegant Eggplant card (#108614) and the stem was cut from the Silver Foil Sheets (#132178). I glued the flower to a piece of Whiper White card, then cut around the outside of the flower as I wanted to attach this to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) and found this the easiest way to do that. The stem was glued with the Fine Tip Glue Pen (#138309). Happy Birthday is from the Circle Of Spring stamp set (#p138964) and I stamped this with Elegant Eggplant ink (#126969). Whisper White card was used for the base and the card front, and I also used Elegant Eggplant between the 2 pieces of White. Now what do you do when you have finished the card and then find you have a little mark on the card? Well you cover it with some embellishments. I only had one little mark but I randomly added a few of the silver Metallic Enamel Shapes (#141678) as just one would have looked a bit odd. There are both gold and silver in the set with stars, hearts and circles, so a nice variety.

That's all for today,

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Paisleys & Posies

Welcome,

Well this is the first time in 6 weeks that I have been in my craft room, (after a relaxing holiday) so I have been eager to use some new products from the new Holiday Catalogue. Here I have used the beautiful Paisleys & Posies stamp set (#p142196).

I stamped on the Night Of Navy card (#106577) using VersaMark (#102283) and the Copper Embossing Powder (#141636) which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I placed the stamps onto an E Clear Block (#118486) as shown below. This makes it easy as all the images can be stamped at one time, especially when embossing all the images.

I then cut one of the Paisley Framelits Dies (#141849) from the Copper Foil Sheets (#142020) and this was attached to another piece cut from Cherry Cobbler card (#121681) using Mutipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). This was then attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment, also from the Paisley & Posies stamp set was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966) on the Whisper White base card (#106549). The Night Of Navy card was mounted onto Cherry Cobbler card.

That's all for today.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Floral Boutique DSP with Butterfly

Hello again,

The Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper (#141663) which I have used on this card has a beautiful range of designs in Night Of Navy and Whisper White.

The cardstock is Night Of Navy (#106577) and Whisper White (#106549) and the top butterfly was cut from the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (#135315). The butterflies were cut using the Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135) and the Butterflies Thinlits (#137360). These were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Have A Beautiful Birthday is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167) and stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#126970). I also lightly sponged the edges of the White card with Night Of Navy ink.

A fairly easy card but the glimmer paper and DSP adds some elegance.

That's all for today.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Botanical Builder Framelits

Hello Ladies,

I love this combination, the Botanical Builder Framelits (#140625) and the Timeless Textures stamp set (#c140517, #w140514).

The base card is Bermuda Bay (#131286) and the card front is Very Vanilla (#106550). I stamped around the edges using the image from the Timeless Textures stamp set using Crumb Cake ink (#126975) and the swirly image is stamped with Soft Suede (#126978) using the Stamping off method. The splotches were also stamped with Crumb Cake.  I used Bermuda Bay for the flower and sponged the edges with Bermuda Bay ink (#131171). This was attached to the card with a Stampin' Dimensional (#104430). The leaves and middle of the flower were cut from the Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) and glued with the Fine Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The greeting is from Butterfly Basics (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154) and I stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder (#109129). The ovals for the sentiment were cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706).
