Product Of The Month

 Hi everyone,

Each month there is a new Product Of The Month which can be purchased at a reduced price with a qualifying order (in Australia it is $9 with a $125 order). These products are available while stocks last and will carry over if they are still in stock. This month’s Product of the Month is the Notes Of Spring stamp set (#167979).

I thought these cute little animals from this stamp set would make a great baby card.

The outline of the  rabbit, duck & deer were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) which were set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

I stamped the inside area of the rabbit with Bubble Bath ink (#161664), Lemon Lolly ink (#161666) for the duck and Crumb Cake ink (#147116) for the deer.

The circles were cut with the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183). The stamped images were attached to the coloured card - Bubble Bath (#161727), Lemon Lolly (#161729) and Crumb Cake (#121685) using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The card front is from the Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper (#167977) which is also a Product Of The Month. This was attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The circles were taped to the card. “Congratulations” is from the Extraordinary Flora stamp set (#165243) and also Gold Embossed. Another die from the Stylish Shapes dies was used to cut the sentiment. Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was added to each of the stamped images.

The embellishments are from the Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots (#162758). The dot under the deer was coloured with a Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend (#154882).

Fragrant Layers Bundle

 Hi crafty friends,

The Fragrant Layers Bundle (#167155) has been used for this card today. The bundle consists of the Fragrant Layers stamp set (#167150) and the Fragrant Layers dies (#167154).

(This was a bit hard to photograph with the shiny specialty paper, but looks lovely in real life.)

I stamped the floral image with Secret Sea ink (#165285) onto Basic White card (#166781). This stamp set is a Two-Step set which allows you to stamp the outline and the solid inside images separately. For the flowers I used Strawberry Slush ink (#165286), Summer Splash ink (#163808) for the leaves and Darling Duckling ink (#165277) for the flower centres.

The Tungsten Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772) was cut with a Fragrant Layers die, then I dry embossed this with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Powder (#161600). This was placed over the stamped floral image, then matted with Strawberry Slush card (#165297). The base card is Basic White.

“Just A Note” is from the same stamp set and stamped with Strawberry Slush ink. The die to cut the sentiment is also from the Fragrant Layers dies. I attached this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The embellishments are from the retired Two-Tone Sparkle Gems.

Scalloped Wishes

 Hi friends,

How cute are these dragonflies from the Scalloped Wishes Bundle (#167447). Do you find you use the larger images in a set and forget about the smaller ones? I do, so thought I would use the dragonflies without all the other images from this bundle.

The curved card and DSP were cut with a die from the Paradise Garden dies (#167120). The DSP is from the Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper (#167977) and the coloured card is Secret Sea (#165296). After cutting the Secret Sea card with the die, I cut it in half (longways) and attached this to the DSP & sentiment.

“Happy Birthday” is from the stamp set from the Virtual Card Retreat (#170026) and stamped with Secret Sea ink (#165285).

These die cut pieces were attached to the Basic White card front (#166781) which was dry embossed with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder (#161600). This was matted with Secret Sea card.

The die cut dragonflies were cut with dies from the Scalloped Wishes dies (#167452) using the Tungsten from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772). These were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The small stamped dragonflies are from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set (#167447) and stamped with Secret Sea ink and cut with a Scalloped Wishes die. I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) to attach these to the card.

Scalloped Wishes Bundle

 Hello stamping friends,

The Scalloped Wishes Bundle (#167453) which consists of the Scalloped Wishes stamp set (#167447) and Scalloped Wishes dies (#167452) have been used on this card.

I stamped the border from the stamp set on the Basic White card (#166781) with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111). This and the DSP from the Wood Grain Wonders (#167428) were cut with the dies.

The card front is from the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper (#166992) was matted with Crushed Curry card (#131288) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The leaves were cut with dies from the Delicate Whispers dies (#167505) and the Scalloped Wishes dies. I used Old Olive card (#106576) and Mossy Meadow card (#133683), both backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

The woodgrain scalloped oval was taped to the card front and the leaves were attached. The stamped scalloped oval was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Have The Best Day” from the Cutest Crew stamp set (#167146) was stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#147087) and cut with a retired Happy Hibiscus die. This was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The flowers and dragonfly were cut with dies from the Scalloped Wishes dies. The fancy corners are from the Beautifully Celebrated dies (#166974). The corners & dragonfly was cut from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772). I used Crushed Curry card for the flowers.

The flowers & dragonfly were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The corners were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Low Profile Sparkle Dots (#166157) were added to the flower centres.

Virtual Card Making Retreat stamp set

 Hi everyone,

This floral image is from one of the stamp sets from the Virtual Card Making Retreat (#170026). I had some leftover die cut pieces for this image, so stamped the image on that.

This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). The Heat Tool (#129056) was used to set the powder.

The flowers were coloured with Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends (#161675), Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends (#155518) and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends (#154887). For the leaves I used Pool Party Stampin’ Blends (#154894) and Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends (#163826). Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883) was used in the centre of the flowers.

I used Summer Splash card (#163798) for the green leaves and gold from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (3163772) for the smaller leaves. For the green die cut leaves, I cut this in half so I could tuck it under the floral image in 2 places.

I dry embossed the Highland Heather card front (#147010) with the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder (#167179). The Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper (#164607) was taped to the card front and this was attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The stamped flowers were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves were attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

The embellishments are the Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) and Two-Tone Sparkle Gems (#164633). I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the flowers.

Beautifully Celebrated Dies

 Hello & welcome,

Gold & white always looks elegant. Here I have used the gorgeous Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper (#166957) along with the Beautifully Celebrated Dies (#166974).

I cut the middle out of the DSP with one of the dies. This DSP was then matted with Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). This was attached to the Basic White base card (#166781)

I cut the detailed corners from Basic White card and Gold Foil, also with dies from this set. The Gold Foil corners were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683), then I added the White corners, offsetting them to show some gold.

“Best Wishes” from With You In Mind stamp set (#164747) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The sentiment was also cut with one of the Beautifully Celebrated dies.

The Flower Accents (#165171) were added to finish the card.

Beautiful Motifs Bundle

 Hi everyone,

I love the way the leaves partly cut out using the Beautiful Motifs die (#165205) which are part of the Beautiful Motifs Bundle (#165206).

The Pool Party & Lemon Lolly paper are from the Pastels Shimmer 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#167198). I cut the Pool Party paper with the Textured Notes dies (#165555). After cutting the top, bottom & left side I repositioned the die to cut the right side as I wanted a narrower cut. I then used the die from the Beautiful Motifs die to cut the leaves.

I stamped around the edges of the Lemon Lolly paper with a stamp from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set (#165198) using Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). This is very subtle so not sure if you can see it in the photo. This was matted with another piece of Pool Party paper and attached to the Basic White Base card (#166781). The Pool Party with the die cut leaves was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Thinking Of You” is from the same stamp set and stamped with Pool Party ink (#147107). A die from the Paradise Garden dies (#167120) was used to cut the sentiment. The embellishments are the Low Profile Sparkle Dots (#166157).

Garden Textures Specialty Foil Sheets

 Hi friends,

The Garden Textures 12”x12” Specialty Foil Sheets (#167125) has 3 beautiful vibrant colours - Berry Burst, Blueberry Bushel and Shaded Spruce - and I have used them on this card.

The card front is from the Delicate Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167498). I cut a piece of the Berry Burst Foil with a die from the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183). I cut this square in half from corner to corner and attached them to the DSP, then attached the card front to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The Blueberry Bushel Foil was cut with a die from the Paradise Garden dies (#167120). The Shaded Spruce Foil was cut with a die from the Forever Florals dies (#167443). I cut this leafy piece in half and attached it to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The Blueberry Bushel Foil was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The flowers from the Paradise Garden stamp set (#167114) were stamped with Berry Burst ink (#147143) and cut with the Paradise Garden dies. These were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots & a Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Celebrate” is from the Blooming Phrases stamp set (#165523) and stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). A die from the Paradise Garden dies was used to cut the sentiment and this was taped to the blue foil.

The embellishments on the flower centres are retired Garden Gems.

Garden Poetry Suite Collection

 Hi again everyone,

From today a large range of new products are available from the Online Exclusives including the Garden Poetry Suite Collection (#167127) which I have used for this lovely bright card.

The flowers, leaves and sentiment are all from the Paradise Garden stamp set (#167114). These were stamped with Shaded Spruce ink (#147088), Azure Afternoon ink (#161663), Berry Burst ink (#147143) and Coastal Cabana (#147097).

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Paradise Garden Embossing Folder (#167120). This is a hybrid embossing folder which means a die fits into the folder and cuts & embosses at the same time. It can also be used just as an embossing folder as I have used here.

The DSP is from the Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper (#167113) and attached to the card front. The card front was matted with Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment, flowers leaves and the blue foil from the Garden Textures Specialty Foil Sheets (#167125) are all cut with the Paradise Garden dies (#167120). The blue foil and some of the flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) for the leaves and the Azure Afternoon flowers.

The retired Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots were added to the card.

Fragrant Layers Dies

 Hi & welcome again,

I like to try to use products in more than one way, so on today’s card I have used a die from the Fragrant Layers dies (#167154) for the background. This die would usually be used for sentiments. Also, this die cuts the outside “frame” and the inside solid piece with the one die.

Using this die I cut several pieces from Basic White card (#166781), then I used the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper (#164607) for the inside pieces. I now have leftover white card from the inside & the DSP from the outside to use on another project. I glued these to the Basic White card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I attached the piece with “Happy Birthday” with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). “Happy Birthday” is from the Simply Said stamp set (#163756) and stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with the Gold Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

The flowers and leaves were also cut with the dies from the Fragrant Layers dies. The card used for these are Daffodil Delight (#121680), Balmy Blue (#147007), Fresh Freesia (#155614), Lemon Lime Twist (#144250) and Granny Apple Green (#147014). The flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the leaves with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The gold sequins are from the retired Traditional Sparkling Sequins.
