Framed & Fabulous Hot Foil Dies

 Hello friends,

Yes, more hot foiling on this card, using the Framed & Fabulous Hot Foil Dies (#170578) as well as others.

Many of the Hot Foil dies include both the hot foiled dies and cutting dies like this one.

I hot foiled the circle of fine lines from the Framed & Fabulous Hot Foil dies using Green Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170555) onto Gold Foil Sheets (#132622). This was then cut with one of the cutting dies from the set. I then used the left over green foil on Basic White card (#166781) using the Reverse Hot Foil Plate (#170043), and then I cut this with another of the cutting dies with the scalloped edge. This was dry embossed with the Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder (#168220).

The flower is from the Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Dies (#170041) and I used Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170066). This flower was fussy cut from the larger image and was a left over from a previous project. I now have a huge range of “leftover” foiled images & sentiments which are very handy when making a card.

“Just A Little Hello” was also gold foiled and is from the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies (#170052). This also has a cutting die to cut all the sentiments in this set.

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with the now retired Dotted Circles Embossing Folder and attached to the Basic White base card. Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the die cut Gold Foil Sheet to the card. The green foil & flower were taped and the sentiment was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Bundle

 Hi everyone,

I always love some glimmer and shine on my cards so the hot foil and the Metal Effects Specialty Paper (#167105) doesn’t disappoint. Also my obsession with Hot Foiling continues.

I have used the Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies (#170558) with Copper Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170553) on Basic White card (#166781). The Lustrous Leaves Bundle (#170559) also includes the Lustrous Leaves Decorative Masks (#170557) which I have used to colour the leaves using Blending Brushes (#153611). The coloured inks used are Old Olive (#147090), Pecan Pie (#161665), Crumb Cake (#147116), Cajun Craze (#147085), Cherry Cobbler (#147083), Granny Apple Green (#147095), Pretty Peacock (#150083) and Golden Glow (#167676). It’s great to be able to get different shades of the one colour with using less colour and pressure for the lighter colour, or more colour and pressure for a darker colour, which I have done on some of the leaves.

The cutting dies were used to cut the leaves once they were coloured.

I used the Framed & Fabulous Hot Foil Dies (#170578) & Copper Foil for the circular image and cut it with a cutting die from the same set. “Best Wishes” is from the Framed & Fabulous stamp set (#170573). These are available as a bundle - Framed & Fabulous Bundle - (#170579).

The card front is the Copper from the Metal Effects Specialty Paper (#167105) and I dry embossed this with the Textured Tree Ring Embossing Folder (#168220) before attaching it to the Basic White base card.

The leaves & sentiment were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The embellishments on the sentiment are from the Glossy Garden Dots (#168577).

Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies

 Hi again everyone,

The Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies (#170558) will be available from 1st September, and have been used on today’s card.

I used the Copper Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170553) for the leaves and the sentiment. After hot foiling the leaves I then used the negative image with the Reverse Hot Foil Die (#170043), and I used a mix of these. I love how you can get double the foiling using the Reverse plate.

The card used for the leaves are all Two Tone cardstock as this is slightly smoother and I find especially for the reverse image it works better. The colours I used are Crushed Curry (#166670), Pecan Pie (#166688), Old Olive (#166683) and Peaceful Pine (#167698).

The leaves were cut with the co-ordinating cutting dies. I then cut some smaller leaves from the same set using some retired copper foils.

The sentiment is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042). This was also cut with co-ordinating dies.

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Ferns & Flora Embossing Folder (#167744). This was matted with Metal Effects Specialty Paper (#167105). I also used this paper to cut the label from the Paradise Garden dies (#167120).

The leaves were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The label was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and the sentiment was attached with Mini Glue Dots.

Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies

 Hello everyone,

I was having a long needed clean up of my craft table and came across a card base from the Beautiful Blues kit (which is now retired) and some other bits & pieces, so thought I would make a quick card with them.

I had used the Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Dies (#170064) on Vellum Specialty Paper (#167099) using Silver Stampin’ Hot Foil roll (#170067). I then cut this label with the co-ordinating cutting die. The Night Of Navy card (#106577) was also cut with one of the dies.

“Thinking Of You” is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042) and I also used the Silver Foil. The co-ordinating cutting die cut the sentiment. The labels were taped together and attached to the card and the sentiment was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The embellishments are from the Shimmering Dots (#167949).

I have a range of sentiments and other pieces from Hot Foiling put aside which makes it easy when I need a quick & easy card.

Tile Garden dies

 Hi & welcome again,

A sneak peek of some products available next week (1st September) from the new catalogue. I have used the Tile Garden dies (#168573) to cut the squares.

I cut 2 of the larger squares from Basic White card (#166785). I attached these together - one was placed as a square and the other as a diamond to create the shape. The small squares were cut from the Mosaic Garden Designer Series Paper (#168566) and attached them alternately to the larger white card.

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with the retired Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder, then matted with Hydrangea Hue card (#167688) and attached to the Basic White base card.

“Thank You” is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042) using Silver Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170067). This was hot foiled onto Hydrangea Hue card. The co-ordinating cutting die cut the sentiment.

The small circle was cut using a die from the Stylish Shapes (#159183), dry embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder and attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) to attach the sentiment and die cut “squares” to the card.

2026-2028 In Color Butterflies (#167656) were added to the card.

Gold Hot Foiling

 Hello friends,

Another card with Hot Foiling and using the Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil (#170066) for “Happy Birthday”.

I used the Luxe Alphabet & Numbers Hot Foiling Dies (#170044) for the letters for “Happy”. They have a co-ordinating cutting die to cut each individual letter at the one time. For “Birthday” I used the Gold Foil with the Reverse Hot Foil Die (#170043), then cut it with a Words & Wishes Die (#167894).

The DSP is from the beautiful August Product Of The Month which is Glow Of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper (#168598). I cut the front piece with a Perennial Postage die (#162607) and matted it with Cajun Craze card (#121683), then attached it to another of the Glow Of Harvest DSP. This was then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The sentiment was glued with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

Glow Of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Welcome everyone,

The floral image on today’s card is from the Glow Of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper (#168598). This is the August Product Of The Month which is available to purchase for $9 (in Australia) with a $125 order. This beautiful paper has a fine shimmer all over. I fussy cut this image.

The card front is Golden Glow (#167686) and this was dry embossed with the Softly Woven Embossing folder (#168466). This is available in the next catalogue from 1st September. I matted this with Pecan Pie card (#161726) and attached it to the Very Vanilla base card (#166785).

The Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Dies (#170064) were used for the label. I used the Silver Opal Stampin’ Hot Foil (#170554) on Two-Tone Crumb Cake card (#166671) and this was cut with the co-ordinating cutting dies. I also used the Silver Opal Foil for the sentiment from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042). Even though this is silver foil it picks up all the colours around.

The leaves were cut with the cutting dies from the (upcoming) Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil dies (#170558) using both sides of the Two-Tone cardstock. The leaves were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the floral image and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

I have used the (retired) Iredescent Faceted Gems to compete the card.
