Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hello friends,

We all have bits & pieces of Designer Series Paper, as we just might be able to use it one day. So here is an easy way of using some of these pieces.

I cut 5 pieces of the Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165159), 2cm wide and 12cm long. I cut the V’s at each end with a retired Banners Pick A Punch.

I stamped the Basic White card front (#166781) with the splotches from the Elements Of Text stamp set (#164774) using Misty Moonlight ink (#153118), stamped off. The card front was matted with Misty Moonlight card (#153086) and attached to the Basic White base card. The finished card measures 14cmx14cm.

The sentiment from Beautiful Motifs stamp set (#165198) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). A die from the Stylish Shapes (#159183) was used to cut the sentiment.

The leaves were cut from Gold Foil sheets (#132622) using a Charming Day die (#166135). The Gold Foil was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

The DSP was taped to the card and the sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves were attached.

Elements Of Text stamp set

 Hi again friends,

Sorry for my absence for the past few days. I’ve had a very busy week plus had cortisone injections in both shoulders, but I’m back to doing what I love - crafting.

I have stamped the text from the Elements Of Text stamp set (#164774), using Crumb Cake ink (#166787) onto Very Vanilla card (#166785). This card was matted with Mossy Meadow card (#133683), then attached to the Very Vanilla base card.

I dry embossed the strip of Crumb Cake card (#121685) with the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder (#165559) and taped it to the right side of the card front.

The leaves were cut with dies from the Thankful Garden dies (#165533) and Beautiful Motifs dies (#165205). The Mossy Meadow card and the Garden Green card (#108605) were backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), before cutting with the dies. This makes it easy to attach the detailed die cuts to the card.

I cut a piece of Mossy Meadow card and a piece of Pecan Pie card (#161726) with the Textured Notes dies (#165555). The Mossy Meadow die cut strip was taped to the card and the Pecan Pie card was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111), then cut with a die from the Inspiring Imperfections (#165166) and attached to the card.

The dragonflies are from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743).

Party Banners Dies

 Hi friends,

I am trying to get ahead with some masculine cards, so here’s another one today.

I stamped the text from the Elements Of Text stamp set (#164774) using Crumb Cake ink (#147116) onto Very Vanilla card (#166785). “Happy Birthday” from the Loveliest tree stamp set (#163714) was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink (#153118). The 3 banners were cut with the Party Banners dies (#165264).

The Timeless Plaid 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#164678) was matted with Misty Moonlight card (#153086) and attached the card front to the Very Vanilla base card.

I stamped the bike from the Along The Lines stamp set (#165352) using Misty Moonlight ink, then re-stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and added Clear powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165679). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

I taped the 3 banners together then attached them to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are the Earth Tone Shimmer Gems (#164070) which are still on the Last Chance list in Australia.

Gallery Blooms dies & Charming Day dies

 Hello again friends,

These leaves are cut using the Gallery Blooms dies (#165212) and the Charming Days dies (#166135).

For the background, I stamped an image from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set (#165198) onto Basic White card (#166781) with Crumb Cake ink (#147116), I then stamped the “blotches” from the Elements Of Text stamp set (#164774). This card was then dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (#161600), then matted with Pecan Pie card (#161726) and attached to the Basic White base card.

I stamped another image from the Elements Of Text stamp set using Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102), then cut this with a die from the Textured Notes dies (#165555). I attached this to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The leaves were cut with card which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The coloured cards used are Granny Apple Green (#147014), Pecan Pie, Cajun Craze (#121683) and Crushed Curry (#131288).

“Happy Birthday” from Simply Said stamp set (#163756) was stamped with Pecan Pie ink and cut with another Textured Notes dies. This was attached at each end with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Elements Of Text

 Hello crafty friends,

The Elements Of Text Stamp set (#164774) is great for stamping backgrounds with the text and splotches images.

Firstly I blended the Coastal Cabana ink (#147097) with a Blending Brush (#153611) onto Basic White cardstock (#159228). I then stamped the text with VersaMark (#102283), added White powder from the Wow! Basics Embossing Powder (#165679), then set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then tore the right side of the card for a jagged edge.

I dry embossed another piece of Basic White cardstock with the Starstruck Embossing Folder (this was part of Sale-a-bration). I matted this with Coastal Cabana card (#131302) and attached it to the Basic White base card.

The Silver Foil sheet (#163387) was used for the butterfly which was cut with a Beautiful Butterflies die (#164614). The body of the butterfly is cut separately so this was attached to the butterfly with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The butterfly was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I usually attach the butterflies under the body only so the wings can be lifted up for a nice effect.

The sentiment from the Sketched Butterfly stamp set (#163490) was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink and cut with an Around It All die (#164725). This was also attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and then I added the Opal Rounds Assortment gems (#163298) to finish the card.

Around It All dies

 Hello friends,

The Around It All dies (#164725) includes 12 irregular circles in a variety of sizes. I have used 3 of them on this card.

I stamped the text image from the Elements Of Text stamp set (#164774) with Crumb Cake ink (#147116). The sentiment from So Sincere stamp set (#162283) was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink (#147086). The sentiment, stamped text and the Pumpkin Pie card (#108601) were all cut with the dies.

I stamped the splotches, also from the Elements Of Text stamp set, using Peach Pie ink (#163810) onto the Basic White card front (#159228). I cut a piece of the 2024-2026 In Colour Designer Series Paper (#163777) with the Take A Bow die (#164102) and attached it to the card front. The card front was matted with Pumpkin Pie card.

The Pumpkin Pie circle and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The butterflies are from the Paper Butterfly Accents (#162612) and coloured with Pumpkin Pie ink & Peach pie ink using Sponge Daubers (#133773). The smaller butterfly was attached to the larger butterfly with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the larger butterfly was attached to the card also with Mini Glue Dots. I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on both butterflies.

The embellishments used are the Antique Pearls (#164679).

The boots and umbrella were cut with dies from the same set using Melon Mambo card (#119980) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). These were attached to the image.
