Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper

 Hi everyone,

Sorry for my absence the last couple of days, but I am away for a few days visiting family. I brought some bits and pieces with me to do some cards if & when I had a chance, so here is today’s easy card.

The scene is from the Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper (#167920) and I matted this with Pecan Pie card (#161726). I dry embossed the Shaded Spruce card (#147006) with the (retired) Birch Wood Embossing Folder and attached this to the Basic White base card (#166781). The matted DSP was attached on top.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042) and I used the Copper Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#1700553). This was then cut with the co-ordinating cutting dies from the Classic Greetings dies. I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) to attach the sentiment.

I have done a range of the sentiments from this set with various colours of the Hot Foil and put them aside ready to use on a card, so I don't have to heat the machine for just one sentiment. Very convenient. Also you can fit a few of the sentiments on the machine at one time.

Stylish Shapes dies

 Hello again crafty friends,

I have used the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183) for the circles on today’s card. You could use any stamps and designer papers on this easy card.

The Valley In Bloom Designer Series Paper (#167935) was used for 2 of the circles. I stamped the small floral image from the Lily Of The Valley stamp set (#167937) using Granny Apple Green ink (#147095). I coloured the leaves with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885) and the flowers with the Barely Blush Shimmer Brush (#167664). The other circles were cut from Granny Apple Green card (#147014).

The sentiment from the Begonia Belle stamp set (#168592) was stamped with Granny Apple Green ink.

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder (#168220) and matted with Granny Apple Green card. This was attached to the Basic White base card.

The circles were attached to the card with tape, Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies (#167656) were added to finish the card.

Exciting Times Bundle

 Hi everyone,

A quick & easy card using the Exciting Times Bundle (#167881), consisting of the Exciting Times stamp set (#167875) and the Rounded Rectangle Punch (#167880).

I used the Berry Botanical Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167985), which is now retired. However you could use any designer paper. I attached this with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to Basic White card (#166781). These pieces were then attached to the Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) then attached to the Basic White base card.

The outside frame and sentiment from the Exciting Times stamp set, were stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) and the radiating lines around the sentiment were stamped with Highland Heather ink (#147103). I used the Rounded Rectangular punch to cut the sentiment and the inside of the frame. The sentiment was taped to the card and the frame was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

This month Stampin’ Up! have specials on many of the Designer Papers, so make sure you check them out.

Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Dies

 Hi again friends,

Another beautiful but simple card using the Stampin’ Hot Foil System (#170012).

I used the Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Die (#170041) with Gold Foil (#170066) on Basic White card (#166781). I only used part of the image which I attached to the card front which was dry embossed with the Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder (#168442). This folder is a sneak peek from the next catalogue available from the 1st September. The card front was matted with Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) and attached to the Basic White base card.

“Thank You” was also Gold foiled and this is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042).  There is a co-ordinating cutting die to cut the sentiment. I also cut a piece of Gorgeous Grape card with the same die and attached this slightly offset for a shadow effect. I attached this to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The gold Flower Accents (#165171) were added to finish the card.

Lily Of The Valley Bundle

 Hello friends,

The Lily Of The Valley Bundle (#167943) used on this card, consists of the Lily Of The Valley stamp set (#167937) and the Lily Of The Valley dies (#167942).

I have used the Valley In Bloom Designer Series Paper (#167935) for the card front and matted this with Barely Blush card (#167690), then attached it to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I cut the Barely Blush Paper from the 2026-2028 In Color Pearlised Specialty Paper (#167766) for the  die cut pieces. This card was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), then attached to the card front.

The flowers were stamped with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) and I coloured the flowers with the Barely Blush Shimmer Brush (#167664). I stamped 2 of the longer stems of flowers and one of the smaller flowers and leaves.

The 3 larger leaves were die cut from Lemon Lime Twist card (#144250) and I attached these and the smaller floral image to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The 2 longer stems were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Happy Birthday” is from the same stamp set and stamped with Granny Apple Green ink. A Words & Wishes die (#167894) was used to cut the sentiment and then attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The embellishments are from the 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies (#167656).

Scalloped Blooms dies

 Hello,

A fancy fold card today using the Scalloped Blooms dies (#167646).

The largest scalloped circles were cut from the Lunar Lustre Specialty Paper (#167199).

I used the Botanical Glow Hot Foil die (#170056) with Silver Foil (#170067) on Basic White card (#166781), then I stamped the leaves from the Botanical Glow stamp (#170054) with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). I did 2 of these pieces and they were cut with a smaller Scalloped Blooms dies. I also cut a piece of the Hydrangea Hue card (#167688) with the same die, then dry embossed it with the Paradise Garden embossing folder (#167120). These 3 pieces were attached to the Lunar Lustre scalloped circles.

I attached the 3 circles to a piece of Basic White card, the full length of an A4 card and 5cm wide, then scored at both ends at 9.5cm.

The butterflies are also hot foiled with Silver Foil on the Hydrangea Hue from the 2026-2028 In Color Pearlised Specialty Paper (#167766). The butterflies are from the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies (#170045) and I added some extra colour with a Blending Brush (#153611), Hydrangea Hue ink (#167677) and one of the Butterfly Flight Masks (#170076). I also used a small butterfly on Basic White card.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042) and cut with the co-ordinating die from that set. The butterflies & sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Sunflower embossing folder

 Hi everyone,

I love the look of an almost all white card with a pop of colour like today’s card.

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder (#166145), then attached to the Basic White base card.

The 2 scalloped circles were cut with the Scalloped Blooms dies (#167646). I stamped the floral image from the Fern & Flora stamp set (#167739) onto the smaller circle using the Basic Black Hybrid Stampin’ Pad (#166648). This was coloured with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#154883) and Granny Apple Green (#154885). The larger circle was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment is from the All Aflutter stamp set (#167564) and stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#147087). I chose to only use part of the sentiment so I masked “today” so it wasn't inked, then removed the mask before stamping. The sentiment was then punched with the Three Banner punch (#167050) and attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Silver Hot Foils

 Hi everyone,

I was having a clean up of my craft table (seems to be never ending) and came across some left over pieces so made this card with them.

The base card is Lemon Lolly (#161729). This was cut 10.5cm x 28.8cm and scored in half, then the card front was scored in half again.

The Luxe White Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167947) was attached to the card front. Another piece was attached to the inside Basic White card (#166781) using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I cut a piece of Lemon Lolly card with a Scalloped Blooms die (#167646) then dry embossed it with the Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder (#167946). The bottom half of the scalloped card was attached to the card front.

The butterfly and sentiment are both hot foiled with Silver Foil (#170067). The butterfly is from the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies (#170045) and the sentiment from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042). I used Daffodil Delight card (#121680) for the butterfly and added extra colour with the Butterfly Flight Masks (#170076) using Crushed Curry ink (#147087) and a Blending Brush (#153611). Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to attach the butterfly and sentiment. I added the extra butterfly embellishments from the 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies (#167656).

 Hi again everyone,

A great masculine card today using the Sunset Coast dies (#167780).

I cut the lighthouse image using the dies and used Silver Foil Sheets (#163387), then cut the circle with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183).

The card front is from the Shimmering Stripes Specialty Designer Series Paper (#168197). I coloured this with a Blending Brush (#153611) and Azure Afternoon ink (#161663). The circle was also cut with the Stylish Shapes die.

I dry embossed the Basic White card (#166781) with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder. I attached the Shimmering Stripes Paper to the embossed card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430), then matted this with Azure Afternoon card (#161728). The base card is Basic White.

The lighthouse image was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

I used the Silver Foil Sheets for the shells & starfish and Azure Afternoon card for the birds. These dies are also from the Sunset Coast dies. They were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots.

The sentiment is from the Begonia Belle stamp set (#168592) and stamped with Azure Afternoon ink, then cut with a Nested Essentials die (#161597) and taped top the card.

Echos Of Detail Hot Foil Dies

 Hello everyone,

I have used the Echos Of Detail Hot Foil Dies (#170048) for this beautiful silver background behind the leaves.

I used the Silver Foil (#170067) on Basic White card (#166781). This card and the Shimmering Stripes Specialty Designer Series Paper (#168197) were matted with Coastal Cabana card (#131302) and attached to the Basic White base card.

I used a Natures Symphony die (#166925) to cut the leaves from Coastal Cabana card. This was attached to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Happiest Birthday Wishes” from the Notes Of Spring stamp set (#167979) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used Silver Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with a Stitched Stocking die (#168230) - coming in the next catalogue on 1st September. The edges of the sentiment was daubered with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097) and then attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Botanical Expressions Die

 Hi again everyone,

The Botanical Expressions Die (#168152) has been used to cut the strip of leaves on today’s card.

Firstly I coloured the Basic White card front (#166781) with Pretty Peacock ink (#150083), Pecan Pie ink (#161665) and Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) using Blending Brushes (#153611). I then cut the leaves with the die and dry embossed the top & bottom of the card with the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder (#167179). This card was attached to a piece of the Natures Walk Designer Series Paper (#166912) then attached it to the Basic White base card.

The butterflies are from the Gilded Wings Accents (#169953). For the detailed butterfly I used the back of the butterfly and coloured it with Pretty Peacock ink and a Blending Brush. This was attached to the gold butterfly with a Mini Glue Dot (#103683) and the gold butterfly was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Happy Birthday” from the Lily Of The Valley stamp set (#167937) was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and I fussy cut this and attached it with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Antique Pearls (#164679) were coloured with a Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blend (#161676) before adding to the card.

Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hello friends,

Today I have used the beautiful Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167904). Of course you could use any designer paper, and I am sure you have plenty to choose from, like I do.

I have used one of the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183) to cut the circles from the DSP & Berry Burst card (#147143). These were taped together, offsetting the circles.

I used a die from the Bordered In Beauty dies (#167556) to cut the right side of the Berry Burst card and this card was used to matt the Designer Paper. The base card is Basic White (#166781).

The sentiment from the (retired) Notes Of Spring stamp set was stamped with Berry Burst ink (#147143) and cut with another die from Stylish Shapes.

The circles & sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The  Dreamy Flowers (#167916) are the embellishments added to complete the card.

Botanical Glow Hot Foil Bundle

 Hello everyone,

You might think I am obsessed with the Stampin’ Hot Foil System (#170012), well you are right. I just love the professional look these foils give to your projects.

I hot foiled the leaves onto the Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper (#167113) from the Botanical Glow Hot Foil dies (#170056) using Gold Foil (#170066). I then stamped the leaves from the Botanical  Glow stamp set (#170054) using Pool Party ink (#147107). This was double matted with Berry Burst card (#144249) and Daffodil Delight card (#121680), then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I used the Light Pink Foil (#170068) for the butterflies from the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies (#170045). Using the co-ordinating Butterfly Flight Decorative Masks (#170076), I coloured the butterflies with Bubble Bath ink (#161664), Strawberry Slush ink (#165286) and Berry Burst ink (#147143). These were cut with the co-ordinating open dies.

“Sending Hugs” is from the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies (#170052) and I used the Gold Foil. The open dies were used to cut the sentiments. There are 11 sentiments which can all be hot foiled at one time then all cut with the die. I put the remainder sentiments aside so I always have some sentiments on hand.

The butterflies were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) for the sentiment. The die cut leaves are from the Butterfly Flight dies and they were cut from Peaceful Pine card (#167692) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The sentiments are from the Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots (#166139).

Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies

 Hello again friends,

When you purchase the Stampin’ Hot Foil System (#170012),  the Metallic Magic craft class is included (till the end of the year). This is such a fun and informative class. Today’s card is my variation of one of the cards demonstrated.

I used the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042) for the greeting and I used the Gold foil (#170066) on Basic White card (#166781).

I cut the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper (#167553) with the Happy Birthday open die. The sentiment was lined up with the cut out and the DSP was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). This was then attached to the Basic White base card.

I used Silver Foil (#170067) for the butterflies from the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies (#170045) on Two Tone Crushed Curry cardstock (#166670). I then added colour using the Butterfly Flight Decorative Masks which are included in the Butterfly Flight Bundle (#170076). I used Golden Glow ink (#167676) and Crisp Cantaloupe ink (#167680) and applied these colours with Blending Brushes (#153611). The open dies from the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies were used to cut the butterflies.

The butterflies were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The embellishments are from the 2026-2028 In Color Dots (#167546).

Relaxing Waterside bundle

 Hello & welcome,

The Relaxing Waterside Bundle (#167928) is great for masculine cards.

All the stamped images and sentiment are from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set (#167922) and stamped onto Very Vanilla card (#166785). I stamped the chair & sentiment with VersaMark (#102283) and used the Copper powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) and set this with the Heat Tool (#129056).

The grass was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111) and the cup with Crushed Curry ink (#147087). The chair, grass & cup were cut with the Relaxing Waterside dies (#167927). I used a Stitched Stocking die (#168230) to cut the sentiment. The Pecan Pie card (#161726) under the sentiment was cut with a Bordered In Beauty die (#167556). This was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), which I generally use for more detailed die cuts, making it easy to attach to the card.

The 3 strips of DSP from the Woodgrain Wonders Designer Series Paper (#167428) were attached to the Pecan Pie card, then the card front was attached to the Very Vanilla base card. The Faux Bronze Pentagons are the embellishments used.
