Epic Celebrations

Hello Ladies & Guys,

The Epic Celebration stamp set (#c147236, #w147232) is a saleabration product with a qualifying $90 order and the images in this set are ideal for the male teenager - sports shoes, guitar and headphones.




I stamped the dots onto the Whisper White base card (#106549) using Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966) and Night Of Navy ink (#126970) using the stampin’ off method. The dots, boots and “Here’s to an Epic Celebration” are all from the Epic Celebration stamp set.  Happy Birthday is from the Party Pandas stamp set (#c147221, #w147218), another saleabration product. The banner is Cherry Cobbler card, embossed with the Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#145648) and the v shape was cut with the Banner Triple punch (#138292). The DSP is from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper (#144185). I cut the square with the shoes, with one of the dies from the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372). The sentiments were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The punch for Happy Birthday is the Classic Label (#141491).

Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits

Hi again,

A great masculine card using the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits (#142749).




The base card is Early Espresso (#121686). I embossed the Very Vanilla card (#106550) with the Pinewood Planks 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#143708). I attached a piece of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack (#144177) to the Very Vanilla card. I then embossed a piece of the Champagne Foil Sheet (#144748) with the Layered Leaves 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#143704). Both these 3D embossing folders only require 1 standard Cutting pad when making the “sandwich”, due to the thickness of the folder. The foil sheet was attached to Early Espresso card and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The dragonfly was cut with a die from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits (#142749) from Basic Black card (#121688), added to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108), then added some sparkle with the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897). Celebrate and You are cut with the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies (#146840), which is one of the Sale-a-bration products. Basic Black card and Champagne Foil Sheet were used for these words. I adhered the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (#144106) to the Basic Black card before cutting “celebrate”. “You” was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).  The ribbon is 3/8” Shimmer Ribbon  in Basic Black (#144129).

Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Hello,

The Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (#145656) has 2 narrow folders, one of which I have used on the top part of this card.





The card base is Whisper White (#106549) and the DSP is the Lemon Lime Twist from the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack (#144131). The label from the Sweet Cake Framelits Dies (#145617) was cut from Lemon Lime Twist card (#144250). Just For You is from A Good Day stamp set (#c145873, #w145870) and stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink (#144086). I punched this with the 1-3/8” Scallop Circle punch (#146139) and attached it to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I used the Whisper White 1/4” Organza Ribbon (#145590) on the card as well as for the bow. The bow was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Valentine cards

Welcome again,

With Valentine’s Day approaching, its time to make make some gift cards. Here are some I made today.










For the top left card I used Real Red card, Very Vanilla Card, Bundle Of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, Real Red ink, Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon, Painted With Love Vinyl Gold Stickers, Sure Do Love You stamp set and Lots Of Love Box Framelits Dies.
The top right card uses Whisper White card, Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, Painted With Love Gold Vinyl Stickers, Melon Mambo ink, Sure Do Love You Bundle, Stampin’ Dimensionals and a retired embossing folder.
For the he middle left card I used Melon Mambo card and ink, Whisper White card, Hold Onto Hope stamp set, Old Olive/Crushed Curry &Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Markers, Whisper White 1/4” Organza Ribbon, Metallic Sequins Assortment, Fine-Tip Glue Pen, Mini Glue Dots.
The middle right card uses Whisper White Card, Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, Gold Foil Sheet, Sure Do Love You Bundle, Rich Razzleberry ink and the Petal Burst Embossing folder.
For the bottom left card I used Whisper White card, Real Red card, Gold Glimmer Paper, Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set, Sunshine Wishes Thinlits, Classic Label Punch, Fine-tip Glue Pen, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The embossing folder and stamp set for “love you” are retired.
For the last card I used Party Panda stamp set, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Real Red ink, Lots Of Love Box Framelits Dies, Real Red card, Whisper White card, Silver Foil Sheet and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The embossing folder is retired.

Still got lots of cards to make, so better get back to them.

I have had a problem trying to post a blog the last 2 days so hope it works this time.

Lots Of Lavender

Hello,

The Lots Of Lavender stamp set is one of the Sale-a-bration products. This is a 2 step set, but I chose to use just the one image here on this card. I thought there was enough colour with the Lemon Lime Twist.



The base card is Lemon Lime Twist (#144250). The next layer is Whisper White (#106549) and on top of this is the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate (#141653). I used the gold side of this acetate, it has silver on the reverse. I then layered a small piece of the Lemon Lime Twist Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper (#144131) on top of the acetate. The next layers are Lemon Lime Twist and Whisper White. I stamped the flowers using VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). Lots of layers but very simple!

Sunshine & Rainbows Bundle

Hello,

When each of my grandchildren have started school, I have always been there on their first day. This year one granddaughter starts school but is interstate, so I thought I would send her a card. She loves rainbows so couldn’t resist using the Sunshine and Rainbows Bundle (#p145983). I hope she likes it.



The base card is Real Red (#106578). I stamped on the Soft Sky card front (#131292) using Soft Sky ink (#131181) for the raindrops from the Sunshine & Rainbows stamp set (#p145821). The sun was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink (#126944) on Daffodil Delight card (#121680). The cards for the rainbow are Real Red, Pumpkin Pie (#108601), Daffodil Delight, Garden Green (#108605), Marina Mist (#121682), Perfect Plum (#108615) and Wisteria Wonder (#124389). For the clouds I used Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (#135315) and sponged the edges with Marina Mist ink (#126962). The clouds, rainbow and sun are all cut with the Rainbow Builder Framelits Dies (#145659). Wishing You A Lovely Day is from the Lovely Wishes stamp set (#p145924) and stamped with Real Red ink (#126949). I punched this with the 1-3/8” Circle punch (#119860). The sentiment, clouds and sun were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the rainbow glued with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Hold On To Hope

Hello friends,

Another bundle available in the Occasions Catalogue is the beautiful Hold on To Hope Bundle (#c145970, #w145969). This consists of the Hold On To Hope stamp set (#c145780, #w145778) and the Cross Of Hope Framelits Dies (#145654).



I embossed the Whisper White card front (#106549 with the Layered Leaves 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#143704). I then attached this to a piece of Melon Mambo card (#119980) allowing only 2 sides to show. To colour the leaves and flowers I used Stampin’ Write Markers in Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo. The Old Olive and Melon Mambo are from the Brights Collection (#131259) and Crushed Curry is from the Regals Collection (#131262). To do this, just colour in the parts of the image in the colours you choose. When you are ready to stamp, breath heavily onto the stamp in case the ink has started to dry, then stamp your image. I repeated this for the second image. This was cut with a co-ordinating die then glued to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The butterfly was stamped with Melon Mambo ink (#126948) as was God is Love and there are dies to cut these. These were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The larger cross is cut from a piece of Wood Texture Designer Series Paper (#144177) and the smaller cross from the Champagne Foil Sheet (#144748). I glued the smaller cross to the larger one then attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). 
 This turned out to be a very pretty card.

Daisy Delight

Hi everyone,

I like a simple card but with a bit of sparkle and this has both those elements.



The base card and card front are Whisper White (#106549). The sentiment was stamped with Powder Pink ink (#144084). This is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154). I embossed the card front with the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#145649) and I also sponged the edge of the cardfront with Powder Pink ink.  The curved lines under the flower are cut with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits (#141497) using the Iredescent Glimmer Paper from the Myths & Magic 6”x6” Glimmer Paper (#145601). This was glued to the card using the Fine-Tip Glue pen (#138309). I stamped the flower from the Daisy Delight stamp set (#p143669) with Powder Pink Ink (#144084) onto Powder Pink card (#144251). There is a co-ordinating Daisy punch (#143713) to punch these flowers. I offset the 2 flowers, assembling them with a Stampin’ Dimensional (#104430), then adding a Glitter Enamel Dot (#144200) to the centre. Before assembling the flower I added some sparkle to the petals using the Clear Wink Of Stellla Glitter Brush (#141897). I added sequins from the Iredescent Sequin Assortment (#144212) to the card.

Petal Palette with Embossing paste

Hello,

The beautiful Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645) has been used for this background, using the Sweet Soirée Decorative masks (#145643). I love that the sparklely bits don’t come off the card. This paste doesn’t take long to set so ensure you clean your mask and palette knife immediately.




The base card is Powder Pink (#144251) and the rest of the cardstock is Whisper White (#106549). The flowers, bird and sentiment are all from the Petal Palette stamp set (#c145788, #w145785) and stamped with VersaMark 102283) and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129). I coloured the flowers with Stampin’ Blends - Pink Pirouette and Old Olive. All the stamped images are cut with dies from the co-ordinating Petals & More Thinlits (#145655). This stamp set and framelits are also available in a bundle - the Petal Palette Bundle (#c145974, #w145973). I used the Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach all these images to the card. I used the beautiful Powder Pink 3/8” Shimmer Ribbon (#144151) and Glitter Enamel Dots (#144200) to finish off the card.

Sunshine Wishes Thinlits

Hi ladies & guys,

Valentine’s Day isn’t too far away and I was asked to make some cards, so here is one I made with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits (#141489).




I embossed the Rich Razzleberry base card (#119981) with the Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#145648). The Designer series Paper attached to the base card is from the Colour Theory DSP Stack (#144193) and the top DSP is from the Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (#145580). I used Gold Glimmer Paper (#133719) for the heart and love which were cut with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits and these were glued to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The ribbon is 1/4” Stitched-Edge Ribbon (#144121) in Rich Razzleberry. I have just realised there is no stamping on this card.

Happy Birthday Thinlits

Hello and welcome,

Here’s a great masculine card using the Happy Birthday Thinlits (#143700) for the sentiment.




Firstly, I embossed the Very Vanilla card front (#106550) with the Pinewood Planks 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#143708). This dynamic folder creates deep, dimensional embossed impressions. Due to the thickness of the folder, you only use one of the standard cutting pads when building your “sandwich”. This was then attached to the Crumb Cake base card (#121685). The Designer Series Paper is from the Wood Textures DSP Stack (#144177) and I also added a strip of Early Espresso card (#121686). I cut Happy Birthday with both Pumpkin Pie card (#108601) and Early Espresso card and attached them so the top layer was slightly offset to give a shadow effect. I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (#144106) on the back of these cards before cutting with the thinlits. This makes it so easy to adhere these more intricate pieces to the card. The leaves are from the Vintage Leaves stamp set (#p138802) and stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#121685), Old Olive (#126953) and Pumpkin Pie (#126945). These were cut out with the Leaflets Framelits (#138283) and attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Lovely Wishes

Hi,

A very quick and simple card using the Lovely Wishes stamp set (#p145924) for the images on this card.




I stamped the outline of the flower on the right and the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The leaves on the left and the leaf with the flower were stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink (#144086). The flower was stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#131173). This stamp set is a two step stamp so makes it easy to use different colours on your images. The Myths & Magic 6”x6” Glimmer Paper was used for the swirly circles which was cut with a die from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits (#141497). There are 3 colours in this pack of glimmer paper - Iredescent, light green (which I have used here) and turquoise. The Whisper White card front (#106549) was attached to a piece of Basic Black card (#121688), then this was attached to the Lemon Lime Twist base card (#144250).

Sure Do Love You Bundle

Welcome,

I just love this gorgeous Painted With Love Specialty Paper (#145580) which is part of the Painted With Love Suite from the Occasions catalogue.



The DSP at the bottom of the card is the reverse side of the DSP at the top. Each paper in this pack has gold foil on one side along with beautiful designs on both sides. I stamped the heart image from the Sure Do Love You stamp set (#c145766, #w145763) onto the Designer Series Paper using Fresh Fig ink (#144082). The leaves and sentiment are from this stamp set as well and also using Fresh Fig ink. These were stamped onto Whisper White card (#106549). The heart was stamped with Powder Pink ink (#144084). This heart and the leaves were cut with the Lots Of Love Framelits Dies (#145653). Something different with this set is that there are 2 dies to cut the leaves, allowing you to cut 2 at the same time. What a great idea. The sentiment and heart were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I used Mini Glue dots (#103683) for the leaves. The base card is Fresh Fig (#144248). The gold heart on the pink heart and the one in the top left corner are from the Painted Love Gold Vinyl Stickers (#145586). The Calypso Coral ribbon from Sale-a-bration has been attached to the card were the Designer Series Paper join. This ribbon is from the Shimmer Ribbon Pack (#147243) which also includes Basic Gray and Bermuda Bay. The 3 ribbons are different sizes in width.
The Sure Do Love You stamp set and Lots Of Love Box Framelits Dies can also be purchased as a bundle (#c145966, #w145965) and of course you save 10%.

Amazing You

Hello,

There is a great range of free products (with a qualifying order) available from the Sale-a-bration catalogue, including the Amazing You stamp set (#c147215) which I have used for this card.




The base card is Elegant Eggplant (#108614) and the card front is Whisper White (#106549). I stamped the flowers with Wild Wasabi ink (126959) onto the card front. Then I stamped the flowers again in Elegant Eggplant ink (#126969), Wisteria Wonder (#126985) and Fresh Fig (#144082) onto a separate piece of card and cut out the flowers by hand. These were the attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430), over the top of the original stamped flowers. Let’s Celebrate was stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink, and the sun rays were stamped with Daffodil Delight ink (#126944). I added some Glitter Enamel Dots to the flower centres (#144200).

Party Pandas

Welcome everyone,

How cute are the little pandas in the Party Pandas stamp set (#c147221, #w147218) from  Sale-a-bration. These are a free set with a $90 order. There are 3 cute pandas in this set.



I stamped the panda with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Whisper White card (#106549). Love You and Happy Birthday, also from this set, were stamped with Peekaboo Peach ink (#141398). The cardstock is Peekaboo Peach (#141422) and Basic Black (#121688). The Designer Series Paper is Painted Autumn which is now retired. I punched Happy Birthday with the Classic Label punch (#141491) and this was attached to a piece of Basic Black card cut with a die from the Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488). I attached this with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).
