Pretty Party Kit

 Hello friends,

There is a large range of kits available from Stampin’ Up! and today I have used the Pretty Party Kit (#167998). You can follow the instructions or you can put your own spin on the cards. I have changed these slightly.

I took one base card and cut it in half, as there is a design on the back & front of the base card, then cut it to suit the Basic White base cards (#166781) to make 2 separate cards.

One of the sentiments from the stamp set included in the kit was stamped with Highland Heather ink (#147103) and the other with VersaMark (#102283) with Gold powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). These were stamped onto the labels from the kit.

“Birthday Wishes” was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I added retired embellishments to the card.

For the second card I added the die cut part balloon with Stampin’ Dimensionals then attached the sentiment. The Embellishments are from the kit.

Botanical Expressions die

 Welcome everyone,

I have a sneak peek of 2 new products which will be available in the July Online Exclusives. The die to cut these leaves is the Botanical Expressions die (#168152).

These were cut on the Coastal Cabana card (#131302). I then dry embossed the lower part with the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder (#167179). This was taped to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The butterfly is the other sneak peek and is in the Gilded Wings Accents (#169953). There is a full 12”x12” page of die cut butterflies of all sizes in gold, ready to attach to any project. I attached this with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Happy Birthday” from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set (#167639) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678), then set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). A die from the Nested Essentials (#161597) was used to cut the sentiment, then I attached it with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The embellishments are the retired Tinsel Gems.

Nested Essentials Dies

 Hello friends,

I have used 2 of the Nested Essentials dies (#161597) to cut the beautiful Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167904).

This paper has flocked designs on one side of each page. These die cut pieces were attached to the Shimmering Stripes Specialty Designer Series Paper (#168197). This was matted with Berry Burst card (#144249).

The sentiment is from the Delicate Whispers stamp set (#167500). This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Silver powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). A die from the Fragrant Layers dies (#167154) was used for the sentiment.

The White Bakers Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (#155475) was threaded through the holes of the frame for the sentiment and attached at the back of the card front. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment.

The flower embellishments are from the Dreamy Flowers (#167916).

The Designer Paper was matted with Fresh Freesia card (#155614) and attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I stamped the stem of flowers from the Lily Of The Valley stamp set (#167937) using Fresh Freesia ink (#155611). This stamped image, the die cut flowers and the leaves are all cut with the Lily Of The Valley dies (#167942).

Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper

 Hello friends,

The Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper (#167920) includes 2 pages of designs suitable for card fronts and I have used one of them on today’s card.

This DSP was attached to the Azure Afternoon base card (#161728). “Wonderful” was cut with a die from the Wonderful Scenes dies (#168665) - (a Paper Pumpkin add on). I used Azure Afternoon card backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), so just remove the backing and attach the word to the card. “Friend” is from the Wild Bunch stamp set (#167987) which is the June Product Of The Month. This was stamped with Azure Afternoon ink (#161663) and cut with the Three Banner punch (#167050). “Friend” was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The bikes are from the Bikes & Blooms Paper Pumpkin kit stamp set. They were stamped with Azure Afternoon ink and Calypso Coral ink (#147101), then fussy cut. The bikes were attached with tape and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Bikes & Blooms June Paper Pumpkin

 Hi again friends,

I just received my Bikes & Blooms June Paper Pumpkin kit so I have just had time to make just one of the quick & easy cards.

I have made this card as shown in the instructions except I changed the sentiment but also included in the kit. These kits include everything you need to make 9 cards, including envelopes, ink spot and stamp set.

The bike is printed onto the card so I stamped the butterflies onto the card, the sentiment onto the label and the flowers onto the co-ordinating die cut piece. The flowers & sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals, also included in the kit.

Kits are great to have on hand for a last minute card or if you just want a quick & easy card.

Phrases & Frames Bundle

 Hello again friends,

The dies from the Phrases & Frames Bundle (#167587) are “impression dies” which cut and emboss with extra detail, by using the Impressions Plate (#167767). These 2 frames on todays card have used these dies.

To use the dies, cut as usual with card. Then remove the base number 3 plate, so you have plates 1 & 2. Turn the die with the cut out upside down on plate 2, add the Impressions Plate on top, followed by the grey plate number 4. Roll this through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine to get a beautifully embossed piece.

I used the Hydrangea Hue card (#167688) for the 2 frames. The Basic White card front was dry embossed with the Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder (#167946). This was matted with Hydrangea Hue card and attached to the Basic White base card.

“Happy Anniversary” from the Phrases & Frames stamp set (#167581) was stamped with Hydrangea Hue ink (#167677). The frames & sentiment were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are from the 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies (#167656).

Geared Up Garage

 Hello everyone,

I have made this fancy fold card for my grandson who loves cars, so I have used the retired Geared Up Garage stamp set for the car.

I stamped the car with VersaMark (#102283) and added the Copper powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with a Garage Gears die (also retired).

The base card is 15cm x 29.7cm (the length of an A4 card). Along the long side, I scored this at 4.9, 9.8, 14.7 & 19.6. The Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393) was attached to the panels.

I cut another piece of Basic White card (#166781) 17 x 10cm and scored in half at 8.5. This was attached to the 1st & 4th panels. The Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper (#165901) and a piece of Basic White card were dry embossed with the (retired) Timber Embossing folder and attached to the Basic White card.

I used stamps from the Gears & Textures stamp set (#166851) for the “inside” of the card using Pecan Pie ink (#161665), Early Espresso (#147114), Crumb Cake (#147116) and Night Of Navy ink (#147110).  The numbers are also cut from the Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper.

The sentiment from the Notes Of Spring stamp set (#167979) was also Copper embossed. This was cut with a Perennial Postage dies (#162607). The car and sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Eyelet Blooms Die

 Hello again friends,

Here is a variation of a card I posted on 16th May (using the Moonlit Flora Suite). Today I have used a variety of products including the beautiful Eyelet Blooms die (#167984) for the card front.

The Basic White card front (#166781) was then matted with Bubble Bath card (#161727) and attached to the Basic White base card.

I cut 3 pieces of the Splash Of Sparkles Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167200) with a die from the Paradise Garden dies (#167120). These were attached to a piece of Window Sheet (#142314), then I cutnthe circle with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183). Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach this to the card.

The butterflies from All Aflutter stamp set (#167564) were heat embossed with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then coloured them with Stampin’ Blends - Bubble Bath (#161675), Fresh Freesia (#155518) and Highland Heather (#154887). The co-ordinating All A Flutter punch (#167569) was used to punch the butterflies.

Gears & Textures

 Welcome everyone,

A great masculine card using the Gears & Textures dies (#166853).

The gears were cut from Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper (#165901) and Gold Foil sheet (#132622).

The Party Banners dies (#165264) were used to cut the banners from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393).

The card front is from the Wood Grain Wonders Designer Series Paper (#167428) and attached to the Very Vanilla base card (#166785).

I dry embossed a piece of the Night Of Navy Two Tone card stock (#166684) with the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder (#167744). This was then sanded to reveal the white core. I also tore the edge, again showing the white core.

I taped the two tone card and the banners to the card. The 2 larger gears were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and the small gold gear was attached to the larger one with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The sentiment is from the Phrases & Frames stamp set (#167581) and this was stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110). A die from the Ferns & Flora dies (#168991) was used to cut the sentiment.
