 Hello,

We all have left over designer paper which we just can’t throw away, so why not use it, like I have on this easy card.

Using the Tile Garden Dies (#168573), I cut a variety of pieces from the Scenic Coast Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167773).

I taped each of the squares to the Lunar Lustre Specialty Paper (#167199). This paper is in the Last Chance products, so available while stocks last. The card front was matted with Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) and attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The sentiment is from the Framed & Fabulous stamp set (#170573). This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was also cut with one of the dies and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The embellishments are from the retired Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments.

Country Woods Designer Series Paper

 Hello everyone,

I have used a mix of current and retired products on today’s card. I needed a card for an 18 year old apprentice carpenter so the retired Trusty Tools Bundle is perfect along with the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393).

I matted the 2 pieces of DSP with Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper (#165901). This is available from the Last Chance products while stocks last. The base card is Basic White (#166781).

I stamped the tools from the Trusty Tools stamp set, on Smoky Slate card (#131291) using VersaMark (#102283) with Black Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The tools were cut with co-ordinating Trusty Tools dies. I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add some glimmer to the tools. I added some colour to the paint brush bristles using the Golden Glow Shimmer Brush (#167662).

“Happy Birthday” is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042) and I used the Copper Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170553), on Basic White card.

The sentiment, 18 and tools were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The screws and washers also cut from Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper were glued with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

This is a larger card, using a full sheet of A4 and scored in half.

Elegantly Wrapped Bundle

 Hello everyone,

The latest catalogue is now available so I have used some of the products on today’s card.

I stamped the bow from the Elegantly Wrapped stamp set (#168474) using VersaMark (#102283) and Gold powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) on Poppy Parade card (#121694). This was cut with a die from the Elegantly Wrapped dies (#168480).

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Swirls Of Magic Embossing Folder (#168179), then matted with Poppy Parade card and attached to the Basic White base card.

The 2 squares are cut with the Tile Garden dies (#168573) from Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper (#167113). These were taped together.

I used a die from the Bordered In Beauty dies (#167550) to cut the Gold Foil (#132622) “ribbons” and these were attached to the “present” with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

“Happy Birthday” is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042) using Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170066). This is using the Negative foil with the Reverse Hot Foil Dies (#170043). When I do any hot foiling, I then do the negative image so I will always have lots of spare foiled pieces ready to use. “Happy Birthday was cut with the co-ordinating cutting die from the set.

I find when using the reverse image, I get the best results using smoother papers. Basic White, White Willow and Two-Tone card all give great results. The shine on the foil made this hard to photograph but the gold foiling is not mottled as it appears on this photo.

The ribbon and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I made my own embellishments using the excess gold hot foil from around the sentiment. These were cut with a die from the Noel Tidings dies (#168457) and attached with Mini Glue Dots.

August Paper Pumpkin Kit variation

 Hello friends,

After using the laser cut piece from the August Paper Pumpkin kit as a mask on yesterday’s card, I have now used the same piece for the card front on this card.

I had applied the Soft Sea Foam ink (#147012) and Pool Party ink (#147107) with Blending Brushes (#153611), so this was ready to be attached to the base card from the kit.

The sentiment and frames are from the Exciting Times stamp set (#167875). I used VersaMark (#102283) and the Gold Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) for the sentiment and radiating frame, and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was punched with the Rounded Rectangle punch (#167880). The outer frame was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The flowers are from the Detailed Flora Dies (#168664) and I used Coastal Cabana card (#131302) and Gold Foil sheet (#132622) and attached them to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

August Paper Pumpkin alternative

 Hi friends,

I have used some of the pieces on today’s card from the Kindred Greetings Kit, which is the August Paper Pumpkin Kit.

I used the laser cut leaf image from the kit as a mask. I used Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102) with a Blending Brush (#153611), then I used Pool Party ink 161678) on top but trying to get a bit of variation in the colour.

I cut the arch with an Everyday Arches Die (#164629) from Pool Party card (#124391) and I dry embossed this with the retired Exposed Brick Embossing Folder. I then used 2 of the Everyday Arches dies to cut the “frame” from Coastal Cabana card (#131302).

The butterflies are from the All AFlutter stamp set (#167564) and I stamped these with Calypso Coral ink (#147101) and punched them with the All Aflutter punch (#167569).

“Best Wishes” from the Framed & Fabulous stamp set (#170573) and also stamped with Calypso Coral ink. This was stamped onto the circle die cut from the kit and attached to another die cut piece with the leaves.

The background and the embossed arch were taped to the Basic White base card (#166781). The “frame” was attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). The butterflies & sentiment were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The embellishments used are the Shimmering Dots (#167949).

Framed & Fabulous Hot Foil Dies

 Hello friends,

Yes, more hot foiling on this card, using the Framed & Fabulous Hot Foil Dies (#170578) as well as others.

Many of the Hot Foil dies include both the hot foiled dies and cutting dies like this one.

I hot foiled the circle of fine lines from the Framed & Fabulous Hot Foil dies using Green Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170555) onto Gold Foil Sheets (#132622). This was then cut with one of the cutting dies from the set. I then used the left over green foil on Basic White card (#166781) using the Reverse Hot Foil Plate (#170043), and then I cut this with another of the cutting dies with the scalloped edge. This was dry embossed with the Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder (#168220).

The flower is from the Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Dies (#170041) and I used Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170066). This flower was fussy cut from the larger image and was a left over from a previous project. I now have a huge range of “leftover” foiled images & sentiments which are very handy when making a card.

“Just A Little Hello” was also gold foiled and is from the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies (#170052). This also has a cutting die to cut all the sentiments in this set.

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with the now retired Dotted Circles Embossing Folder and attached to the Basic White base card. Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the die cut Gold Foil Sheet to the card. The green foil & flower were taped and the sentiment was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Bundle

 Hi everyone,

I always love some glimmer and shine on my cards so the hot foil and the Metal Effects Specialty Paper (#167105) doesn’t disappoint. Also my obsession with Hot Foiling continues.

I have used the Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies (#170558) with Copper Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170553) on Basic White card (#166781). The Lustrous Leaves Bundle (#170559) also includes the Lustrous Leaves Decorative Masks (#170557) which I have used to colour the leaves using Blending Brushes (#153611). The coloured inks used are Old Olive (#147090), Pecan Pie (#161665), Crumb Cake (#147116), Cajun Craze (#147085), Cherry Cobbler (#147083), Granny Apple Green (#147095), Pretty Peacock (#150083) and Golden Glow (#167676). It’s great to be able to get different shades of the one colour with using less colour and pressure for the lighter colour, or more colour and pressure for a darker colour, which I have done on some of the leaves.

The cutting dies were used to cut the leaves once they were coloured.

I used the Framed & Fabulous Hot Foil Dies (#170578) & Copper Foil for the circular image and cut it with a cutting die from the same set. “Best Wishes” is from the Framed & Fabulous stamp set (#170573). These are available as a bundle - Framed & Fabulous Bundle - (#170579).

The card front is the Copper from the Metal Effects Specialty Paper (#167105) and I dry embossed this with the Textured Tree Ring Embossing Folder (#168220) before attaching it to the Basic White base card.

The leaves & sentiment were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The embellishments on the sentiment are from the Glossy Garden Dots (#168577).

Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies

 Hi again everyone,

The Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies (#170558) will be available from 1st September, and have been used on today’s card.

I used the Copper Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170553) for the leaves and the sentiment. After hot foiling the leaves I then used the negative image with the Reverse Hot Foil Die (#170043), and I used a mix of these. I love how you can get double the foiling using the Reverse plate.

The card used for the leaves are all Two Tone cardstock as this is slightly smoother and I find especially for the reverse image it works better. The colours I used are Crushed Curry (#166670), Pecan Pie (#166688), Old Olive (#166683) and Peaceful Pine (#167698).

The leaves were cut with the co-ordinating cutting dies. I then cut some smaller leaves from the same set using some retired copper foils.

The sentiment is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042). This was also cut with co-ordinating dies.

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Ferns & Flora Embossing Folder (#167744). This was matted with Metal Effects Specialty Paper (#167105). I also used this paper to cut the label from the Paradise Garden dies (#167120).

The leaves were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The label was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and the sentiment was attached with Mini Glue Dots.

Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies

 Hello everyone,

I was having a long needed clean up of my craft table and came across a card base from the Beautiful Blues kit (which is now retired) and some other bits & pieces, so thought I would make a quick card with them.

I had used the Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Dies (#170064) on Vellum Specialty Paper (#167099) using Silver Stampin’ Hot Foil roll (#170067). I then cut this label with the co-ordinating cutting die. The Night Of Navy card (#106577) was also cut with one of the dies.

“Thinking Of You” is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042) and I also used the Silver Foil. The co-ordinating cutting die cut the sentiment. The labels were taped together and attached to the card and the sentiment was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The embellishments are from the Shimmering Dots (#167949).

I have a range of sentiments and other pieces from Hot Foiling put aside which makes it easy when I need a quick & easy card.

Tile Garden dies

 Hi & welcome again,

A sneak peek of some products available next week (1st September) from the new catalogue. I have used the Tile Garden dies (#168573) to cut the squares.

I cut 2 of the larger squares from Basic White card (#166785). I attached these together - one was placed as a square and the other as a diamond to create the shape. The small squares were cut from the Mosaic Garden Designer Series Paper (#168566) and attached them alternately to the larger white card.

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with the retired Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder, then matted with Hydrangea Hue card (#167688) and attached to the Basic White base card.

“Thank You” is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042) using Silver Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls (#170067). This was hot foiled onto Hydrangea Hue card. The co-ordinating cutting die cut the sentiment.

The small circle was cut using a die from the Stylish Shapes (#159183), dry embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder and attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) to attach the sentiment and die cut “squares” to the card.

2026-2028 In Color Butterflies (#167656) were added to the card.

Gold Hot Foiling

 Hello friends,

Another card with Hot Foiling and using the Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil (#170066) for “Happy Birthday”.

I used the Luxe Alphabet & Numbers Hot Foiling Dies (#170044) for the letters for “Happy”. They have a co-ordinating cutting die to cut each individual letter at the one time. For “Birthday” I used the Gold Foil with the Reverse Hot Foil Die (#170043), then cut it with a Words & Wishes Die (#167894).

The DSP is from the beautiful August Product Of The Month which is Glow Of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper (#168598). I cut the front piece with a Perennial Postage die (#162607) and matted it with Cajun Craze card (#121683), then attached it to another of the Glow Of Harvest DSP. This was then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The sentiment was glued with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

Glow Of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Welcome everyone,

The floral image on today’s card is from the Glow Of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper (#168598). This is the August Product Of The Month which is available to purchase for $9 (in Australia) with a $125 order. This beautiful paper has a fine shimmer all over. I fussy cut this image.

The card front is Golden Glow (#167686) and this was dry embossed with the Softly Woven Embossing folder (#168466). This is available in the next catalogue from 1st September. I matted this with Pecan Pie card (#161726) and attached it to the Very Vanilla base card (#166785).

The Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Dies (#170064) were used for the label. I used the Silver Opal Stampin’ Hot Foil (#170554) on Two-Tone Crumb Cake card (#166671) and this was cut with the co-ordinating cutting dies. I also used the Silver Opal Foil for the sentiment from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042). Even though this is silver foil it picks up all the colours around.

The leaves were cut with the cutting dies from the (upcoming) Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil dies (#170558) using both sides of the Two-Tone cardstock. The leaves were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the floral image and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

I have used the (retired) Iredescent Faceted Gems to compete the card.

Hot Foil Dies

 Hello friends,

I have used 4 different Hot Foil dies on this beautiful card. It is a bit hard to photograph with all the shine.

For the card front I used Basic White card (#166781) and used Red Stampin’ Hot Foil (#170552) with the Swiss Dots Hot Foil Dies (#170075).

For the flowers I used the Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Dies (#170041) with the Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil (#170066). I fussy cut the flowers and used part of the image.

“Thinking Of You” is from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies (#170042) and I also used Gold foil. This was cut with the co-ordinating cutting die.

The butterfly is from the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil dies (#170045) and I used Gold Foil on the Red  Timeless Metallic Specialty Designer Series Paper (#168548). This was cut with the co-ordinating cutting die.

The floral image was taped to the card front and the sentiment & butterfly were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Heartfelt Hexagon Punch

 Hello everyone,

I have punched the Delicate Designs Specialty Paper (#167509) with the now retired Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. I love how these fit nicely together to create a pattern.

I attached these pieces to an also retired foil and cut off the excess around the edges. I then matted this with another piece of the foil, and then this looks like one piece. Doing it this way makes it easy to cut the pieces the correct size. The base card is Basic White (#166781).

The sentiment is from the Exciting Times stamp set (#167875) and stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and added Copper from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056) and also punched with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment.

Delicate Whispers Bundle

 Hi stamping friends,

I have used a range of “leafy” products on today’s card, including the Delicate Whispers Bundle (#167506).

I used the Botanical Expressions die (#168152) to cut the leaves on the basic White card front (#166781), then I dry embossed this with the retired Beautiful Pattern embossing folder. This was attached to the Peaceful Pine card (#167692), then attached to the Basic White base card.

I stamped the leafy image from the Delicate Whispers stamp set (#167500) using Peaceful Pine ink (#167679). The sentiment is from Phrases & Frames stamp set (#167581) and also stamped with Peaceful Pine ink.

The 2 circles and square were cut with the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183). The larger circle is also Peaceful Pine card.

I cut the leaves and small flowers with dies from the Delicate Whispers dies (#167505). I used the Shimmering Stripes Specialty Designer Series Paper (#16197) for the leaves and the Crisp Cataloupe from the 2026-2028 In Color Pearlised Specialty Paper (#167766). I lightly coloured the leaves with a Blending Brush (#153611) and Peaceful Pine ink.

The stamped leaves were coloured with Peaceful Pine Shimmer Brush (#167665) and the small stamped flowers on the same image with Crisp Cantaloupe Shimmer Brush (#167661). This was taped to the card front. The die cut leaves & flowers were glued to the card with  Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The embellishments are from the 2026-2028 In Color Dots (#167546).

Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper

 Hello again friends,

For a quick & easy card you can’t go past some designer series paper and some dies, as I have used on today’s card.

The 3 strips of Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper (#167737) were attached to the Golden Glow card (#167686), then this was attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

“Happy Birthday” is cut with the Words & Wishes dies (#167894). I used Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) for the background of the sentiment and Golden Glow card for the words. This card was backed with Adhesive sheet (#152334) so it is easy to attach this to the background card. The sentiment was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The embellishments are from the 2026-2028 In Color Dots (#167546). I also used the Golden Glow Shimmer Brush (#167662) on the words to give some extra colour & shimmer.
