Birthday with Merry Patterns

It's great when you can use a stamp set for more than one type of celebration. I have used the Merry Patterns stamp set (#144973) which is basically a Christmas set but I have used the candles for this birthday card.

The base card is Elegant Eggplant (#108614) and the card front is from the Year Of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper (#144640). The candles and Happy Birthday are stamped on Whisper White card (#106549). I stamped the outline of the candles using VersaMark (#102282) and Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109129), which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then stamped the candles using Wisteria Wonder ink (#126985) and Elegant Eggplant (#126969), and the flames with Crushed Curry (#131173). The white oval was cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706) and for the Elegant Eggplant oval I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372). I attached the ovals with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) over the 5/8" Burlap Ribbon (#141487). Happy Birthday is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167) and stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink. I added some of the Gold Faceted Gems (#144141) to finish the card.

Merry Patterns stamp set

Hi again,

All orders over $450 till the 31st October will receive this beautiful stamp set - Merry Patterns (#p144973), as well as the normal Stampin' Rewards. This Two-step stamp set is photopolymer so makes it very easy to stamp the images together. Won't you have fun making your Christmas cards with this set!

The base card is Real Red (#106578). I stamped on Whisper White card (#106549) and Daffodil Delight (#121680) has been used at the bottom of the card. The inks I have used are Basic Gray Archival (#140932), Real Red (#126949), Daffodil Delight (#126944), Garden Green (#126973) and Pumpkin Pie (#126945). I added the Real Red Trim from the Mini Tinsel Trim Combo Pack (#144636) to the card for a bit of sparkle. Merry Christmas was punched with the Classic Label punch (#141491) and this was attached to the card with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (#144108).

Quilt Builder Framelits Dies

Another one of the beautiful products in the holiday catalogue is the Quilt Builder Framelits Dies (#144673).

Firstly I stamped "Celebrate" from Happy Celebrations stamp set (#p143012) onto the Whisper White card (#106549) using  Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708), then I embossed the card with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#139672). The Basic Black card (#121688) and  the Powder Pink from the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack (#144131) was cut using the Quilt Builder Framelits. All the pieces were glued with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309) to a piece of Whisper White card. This was then attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

The Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#144686) was used here to emboss the card front.

The cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and Soft Sky (#131292). I cut the small snowflake from Gold Glimmer Paper (#133719) with a die from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits (#143751). This was glued to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The sentiment is from the Flurry Of Wishes stamp set (#p139732), stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109129), then heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The sentiment was punched with the Everyday Label Punch (#144668). The edges were sponged with Soft Sky Ink (#131181), then the label was attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensioanls (#104430). The Year Of Cheer Washi Tape (#144644) was attached to the card under the sentiment.

Flourish Thinlits Sympathy card

Hello everyone,

I was asked to design a Sympathy card for a class. This of course could be used for any special occasion such as Wedding Anniversary or a special birthday. For sympathy cards I like simple but elegant.

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Silver Foil Sheets (#132178). I embossed the cardfront with the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (141493). The ribbon is Silver 3/8" Metallic-Edge ribbon. The flower and leaves were cut using the Flourish Thinlits (#141478), and the flower was attached to the ribbon with a Mini Stampin' Dimensional (#144108) and the leaves were glued with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (#144220) to the centre of the flower. With Sympathy is from the Rose Wonder stamp set (#p140697), stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109131) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The ovals were cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706) and attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Snowflake Sentiments Bundle

Here's a beautiful Christmas card using the Snowflakes Sentiments Bundle (#c146053, #w146052). The bundle includes the Snowflakes Sentiments stamp set (#c144820, #w144817) and the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits Dies (#144678).

The base card is Cherry Cobbler (#121681). The beautiful design on the Whisper White card (#106549) is cut with a die from the Swirly Snowflakes. I stamped the baubles from the Carols Of Christmas stamp set (#c144804, #w144801) using Crumb Cake ink (#126975), then stamped again on a small piece of card using VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109129). This was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then cut these with the co-ordinating die from the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies (#144674) and attached them over the originally stamped image on the white card, using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (#144108). The Foil Tape is the Year Of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape (#144644). The sentiment is from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and this was stamped Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966). The ovals are cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372) and Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706). This was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The holly leaves were coloured with Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers from the Brights Collection (#131259) and the berries were coloured with the Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write marker from the Regals collection (#131262). This was stamped on another piece of white card, then cut with a die from the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies and attached with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Move Me Thinlits

Hi,

This butterfly is cut with the Move Me Thinlits (#143732) from Tangerine Tango card (#116206). Doesn't it look great with the black and white.

The base card is also Tangerine Tango, and the other cardstock is Basic Black (#121688) and Whisper White (#106549). The white card is embossed with the Layered Leaves 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#143704). These dynamic folders create deep dimensional embossed impressions. When using these folders, because of the extra thickness, you only need one of the standard cutting plates in the "sandwich". So the sandwich consists of the Big Shot Platform on the base, followed by the Folder with a single sheet of card, then the standard cutting pad on top. The beautiful black and white Ribbon is the 7/8" Striped Ribbon (#144624). This ribbon has wire in the sides which make it easy to make beautiful bows. The butterfly was attached to the ribbon with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (#144108) and I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) to the butterfly and sentiment. Congratulations is from the Colorful Seasons stamp set (#p143726), stamped with Tangerine Tango ink (#126946) and punched with the Classic Label punch (#141491). This was also attached with Mini Dimensionals.
