Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies

Hello again,

It’s getting late and I am running out of time again (as usual), so here is another easy card.

I attached the Color Theory Designer Series Paper (#144193) to the Whisper White card (#106549). The gold design strip is from the Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers (#144150). I cut the medallion with a die from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits (#143725) using the Myths & Magic 6” x 6” Glimmer paper (#145601). Then I stamped the sentiment from A Good Day stamp set (#c145873, #w145870) with Berry Burst ink (#144083). This was cut with another die from the Eastern Medallions thinlits and a circle from the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705), then attached to the larger medallion with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Balloon Celebration

Hi everyone,

After doing a week with various Designer Series Paper cards, I thought this week I would concentrate on kids cards. (Still have used a DSP) I don’t make a lot of children’s cards so time to make a few. This could really be given to anyone of any age.

I mounted the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper (#144118) onto a piece of Basic Black card (#121688), which was then attached to the Whisper White base card (#106549). I stamped the strings for the balloons with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). These strings and the balloons are from the Balloon Celebration stamp set (#p140675) The balloons are stamped with Lemon Lime Twist (#144086), Real Red (#126949), Tempting Turquoise (#126952), Pumpkin Pie (#126945) and Garden Green (#126973) inks. The balloons were then punched with the Balloon Bouquet punch (#140609). I adhered a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) to the back of the Tempting Turquoise card (#108598) before cutting 3 Happy Birthdays with the Happy Birthday Thinlits (#143700). These were mounted on top of each other. Then I inked the Happy Birthday with VersaMark (#102283) and added Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109130), which I then heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then added another layer of VersaMark and Emboss Powder. This gives a beautiful shine to the Greeting.

Petal Passion Designer Series Paper

Hello,

If you need a quick and easy card you can’t go past using Designer Series Paper. Today I have used the Petal Passion DSP (#145589).

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549), Basic Black (#121688) and Cherry Cobbler (#121681). The bird is cut with a die from the Birds & Blooms Thinlits (#141477) and attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). Happy Birthday is from You’re Inspiring stamp set (#c145808, #145805) and stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966). This was punched with the Classic Label punch (#141491). The ribbon under the sentiment is the Basic Black 3/8” Shimmer Ribbon (#144129).

 Yes, very quick and easy.

Coffee Break Designer Series Paper

Hi ladies & guys,

Today’s Designer Series Paper is Coffee Break (#144155), but no coffeee to be seen on this card.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549). I also stamped the bird, flowers and sentiment onto Whisper White card. The bird and flowers are from the Petal Palette stamp set (#c145788, #w145785) and stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#126983). The sentiment is from A Good Day stamp set (#c145873, #w145870). I used Calypso Coral Stampin’ Write Marker from the Subtles Collection (#131263) and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker from the Regals Collection (#126973) to add ink to the stamp. The circles were cut with dies from the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705). The leaves and detailed border are Garden Green card (#108605). These as well as the bird and flowers are all cut with dies from the Petals and More Thinlits (#145655). Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (#144106) was adhered to the Garden Green card before cutting with the framelits. The bird, flowers and sentiment are all attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Color Theory Memories & More Card Pack

Hi all,

The Memories & More Card Packs are not only great for scrapbooking but also for cards and you can add as much or as little to the beautiful designs.

The top designer paper is from the Color Theory Memories & More Card Pack (#144210). The Ombré paper attached to the Whisper White card (#106549) is from the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack (#144193). These 2 packs work beautifully together. I cut a strip from the top and added it to the bottom of the card which I stamped the greeting on. This greeting is from A Good Day stamp set (#c145873, #w145870) and stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#131173). The DSP with the leaves was attached to a piece of Soft Suede card (#119982). I then cut a leaf  with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits (#143751) also from Soft Suede card and attached it with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The chair is also from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits using Crushed Curry card (#131288) and attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hello,

Another one of my favourite Designer Series Paper is the Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP (#145564). Yes, I do have a lot of favourites! And I love the colour combinations they have used to create the beautiful designs on one side and silver foil accents on the other side to give a textured look to the hand painted designs.

I mounted the Designer Series Paper onto Old Olive card (#106576) which was attached to the Rich Razzleberry base card (#119981). The strip of DSP across the bottom part of the card is one of the sides with the silver foil and also attached to a piece of Old Olive card. The stamped leaves and sentiment are from the Painted Harvest stamp set (#p144783). The leaves were stamped with Old Olive ink (#126953) onto Old Olive card and punched with the Leaf Punch (#144667). These were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The sentiment was stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink (#126950), punched with the Everyday Label punch (#144668) and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Very quick and easy!

Bundle Of Love Specialty designer Series Paper

Hi friends,

Today’s Designer Series Paper is Bundle Of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (#144143). This pack has Gold Foil Designs on one side and vanilla with blue or pink on the reverse, and are great for special occasions.

I have used this for the background, and placed this over a piece of Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) which has been attached to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). The cake from Sweet Soirée stamp set (#c145745, #w145521) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) which was then heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The cake stand was cut with dies from the Sweet Cake Framelits Dies (#145617), again from the Gold Foil. Congratulations is from the Petal Palette stamp set (#c145788, #w145785) and cut with a die from the Petals and More Thinlits (#145655). I attached this and the cake to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The cake stand was glued using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).
