Hi again,

Everyone loves this owl using the Owl Builder Punch (#118074), so here is a quick and easy card.

Zoo Review

Hi,

I love to use texture on my cards, (as you may have noticed) so I use the embossing folders on many of my cards.

I used The Honeycomb (#129378) and Stripes (#123128) embossing folders. The card stock used is Very Vanilla (#106550), Bermuda Bay (#131286), Coastal Cabana (#131302) and Basic Black (#121688).
The zebra from Zoo Review (#122199) and the sentiment from Sketched Birthday (#130426) are both heat embossed using Versamark (#102283) and Black embossing powder (#109133). The Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267) were used for the sentiment.

Thought for the day-

Clockworks and Framelits

Hello again,

I find the Framelits so versatile and with the new Magnetic Platform (#130658) they are so easy to use.

The card stock for this card is Cherry Cobbler (#121681), Basic Black (#121688) and Brushed Silver (#124914). Using Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (#130517) I heat embossed with Silver embossing powder (#109131) and Cherry Cobbler (#122949) with Versa mark ink (#102283). The clock from Clockworks stamp set was also heat embossed with the same colours. The Stamp-a-ma-jig (#101049) is great for positioning the different part of the clock.
For You is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (#126257).
The Framelits used are Apothecary Accents, Circles Collection (#130911) and Bitty Banners (#129267). Mini Brads(#122941) have also been used.

Thought for the day-

Enjoy whatever you are doing today.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.

Harvest Blessings

Hello and welcome,

Firstly, I just want to clarify something from yesterday's blog. You can't change the colour of the DSP in My Digital Studio, but you can change the colour of the embellishments.
Now, to today's card.

Card stock used are Smokey Slate (#131291), Basic Black (#121688), Real Red (#106578) and Crushed Curry (#131288). All the images were stamped with Jet Black Staz On Ink (#101406). The stamp sets are Harvest Blessing (#126452) and Label Love (#130622). I embossed the base card with the Chevron folder (#127749). The punch for the sentiment is the coordinating Artisan Label (#130920).

Thought for the day-

Have a great day, hopefully doing what you love to do.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.

The Open Sea and MDS

Hi to everyone,

What do you do if you want to use DSP for a card but don't have just the one you want? Solution - print it using My Digital Studio. That is what I did for this card.

I wanted to make a card with black and red but didn't have any DSP in black that was suitable for what I had in mind. I checked out the MDS and found these 2 papers and printed them on Whisper White card. The other advantage of this is you can change colours or make changes to suit. Why not try it, it is so easy. Don't have MDS? - you can get a free trial - just contact me for info.
The other card stock used for this card is Basic Black (#121688), Real Red (#106578) and Very Vanilla (#106550). The stamp sets are The Open Sea (#123032) and Tiny Teeny Sentiments. The boat is heat embossed with Real Red (#126949) and versamark (#102283). The punches used for the sentiment are Word Window (#119857) and Modern Label (#119849).

Thought for the day-

Thanks for taking the time to look at my cards. I hope I have inspired you.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.

Natural Composition Specialty Paper

Hello again,

I thought I would try sponging Whisper White Craft ink (#101731) onto the Natural Composition Specialty Paper (#126917), then wiping over with a tissue to remove the ink from the glossy patterns. This highlighted the pattern on this paper which I liked.

I then mounted it onto a piece of Tangerine Tango card (#116206), which is attached to the Early Espresso base card (#121686). The flowers from Flower Shop stamp set (#130942) were heat embossed using versamark (#102283) and White embossing powder (#109132), then punched with the Pansy punch (#130698). The leaves are from the Bird Builder punch (#117191) using Gumball Green card (#127543). The ribbon is Gumball Green Stitched Satin (#126848), Happy Birthday is from the Itty Bitty banners stamp set (#126257) and Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267) and also using the White embossing powder.

Thought for the day-

Hope you have a great day.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Framelits and Timeless Talk

Hi Stampers and Crafters

I embossed the Midnight Muse card (#127546) using the Chevron embossing folder (#127749). Then using the Brayer (#102395) I applied the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark ink (#126857) to the card to highlight the embossed area.

This was then taped to the Very Vanilla card (#106550). The stamp sets used for this card are Timeless Talk (#126607) and Bring on the Cake (#121958). The Framelits are Circles Collection (#130911) and Apothecary Accents (#127003). The ink is Midnight Muse (#126860). Stampin' Dimensionals are used to attach both the sentiment and the phone to the card.
