Celebrate You Thinlits Dies

Welcome friends,

I hope you have been able to get the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies (#146840) from Saleabration. I love these dies. Time has almost run out to get them for free - till 31st March. However if you missed out, the good news is that they will be available to purchase from the new annual catalogue coming in June. Great news!!

I used “Celebrate” to cut the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (#147193), another very popular and gorgeous Saleabration product. I then cut this twice in Basic Black card (#121688) and attached the 3 pieces together for dimension. I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (#144106) on the back of each piece of card before cutting to make it easy to adhere each piece together. I then coloured “celebrate” using a Sponge Brayer (#141714) with Sweet Sugarplum ink (#141395). “Amazing” was cut from Basic Black card and I used Sweet Sugarplum card (#141423) for “You”. Sweet Sugarplum was used for the base card and Basic Black for the trim around the Designer Series Paper. The flowers are from the Hold On To Hope stamp set (#c145780, #w145776). The flowers were inked with Sweet Sugarplum Stampin’ Write marker from the 2016-2018 In-Colours (#141393) and Old Olive from the Brights Stampin’ Write Markers (#131259) was used to ink the leaves. The flowers were stamped on Whisper White card (#106549) and cut with a die from the Cross Of Hope Framelits Dies (#145654). 2 of the flowers were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I would like to wish you all a very Happy and safe Easter.

Happy Wishes

Hello,

The Happy Wishes stamp set (#c147227, #w147224) is a beautiful set from Saleabration which has such a variety of sentiments for so many occasions. Both words on this card are from this set.

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the images and as I was making a number of cards the same, this made it so easy. The Stamparatus will be available again from beginning of June when the new annual catalogue comes out. I inked “happy” with Wisteria Wonder ink (#126985), then using a Sponge Dauber (#133773) with Elegant Eggplant ink (#126969), I added the ink to the flowers on the stamp. I also used Elegant Eggplant ink for “anniversary”. Then I attached some of the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (#144106) to the back of the Very Vanilla card (#106550) and then cut the detailed image using the larger of the dies from the Detailed Floral Thinlits (#141482). This adhesive ensures that all the intricate pieces are adhered to the card. The card front was added to the Wisteria Wonder base card (#124389). The cute little hearts are cut with dies from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits (#141707) using Elegant Eggplant card (#108614) and Gold Glimmer Paper (#133719). These were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

That’s all for today.

Cross of Hope Sympathy card

Welcome again,

It’s always sad when you have to make a Sympathy card, but it is made a bit easier when Stampin’ Up! have beautiful products like the ones I have used on this card today.

I have used the Shimmery White card (#121717) for the base card as well as the next layer and the sentiment. The Designer Series Paper is from the gorgeous Springtime Foils Specialty DSP (#147193) which is one of the Saleabration products. Saleabration finishes on 31st March so if you are wanting this or any other Saleabration product contact me now before you miss out. I cut the oval with the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706), then attached this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The crosses are cut with dies from the Cross Of Hope Framelits (#145654), using Gold (#132622) and Silver (#132178) Foil Sheets. With Sympathy from Flourishing Phrases stamp set (#c141534, #w141531) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). Myths & Magic Suite

Hello friends,

Another cute little girls card using the Myths & Magic suite.

I used Whisper White (#106549) for the base card. The Designer Series Paper is Myths & Magic Specialty DSP (#145600. The DSP with the mermaids was cut into strips and attached to another piece of Designer Series Paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430). I stamped the mermaid from the Magical Day stamp set (#c145857) with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708), then coloured with Stampin’ Blends. The colours I used are Light Pool Party (#144595), Light Daffodil Delight (#144586), Dark Daffodil Delight (#144585) and Light Pink Pirouette (#144593). This was then cut with a co-ordinating die from the Magical Mates Framelits (#145660) then attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The sentiment was stamped with Pool Party ink (#126982), then this was cut with the die from the Magical Mates Framelits. I also cut another banner for the sentiment using the DSP, cut the ends and attached it to the banner with the sentiment.

Have a great day.

Birthday Wishes For You

Hello everyone,

Here’s a cute card which I am sure any little girl would love to receive.

I stamped Happy Birthday from the Birthday Wishes For You stamp set (#c145742, #w145739). This was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) which is the best ink to use when you are using the Stampin’ Blends. The Stampin’ Blends I used for the sentiment and Mermaid are Light Pool Party (#144595), Dark Pool Party (#144594), Light Bermuda Bay (#144580), Light Pink Pirouette (#144593) and Dark Crumb Cake (#144581). The mermaid is from the Magical Day stamp set (#c145857, #w145854). The base card is Very Vanilla (#106550) and I stamped the mermaid on Very Vanilla as well. The mermaid was cut with a die from the Magical Mates Framelits (#145660). I cut the swirl using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits (#141497) from Bermuda Bay card (#131286) and glued this to the Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper (#145600) with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The leaves were also cut with the Magical Mates Framelits from So Saffron card (#108611).

I hope you are having a great weekend.

Masculine card 7

Hello,

Here is my final masculine card this week. I have used the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack (#144177) on Sahara Sand card (#121695).

Each of the pieces of DSP were cut 9.5cm x 2.5cm which fitted nicely on the card. I stamped the guitar and the sentiment from the Epic Celebrations stamp set (#c147236) using VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), which needs to be heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). Both these were stamped onto Very Vanilla card (#106550). The sentiment and the Tranquil Tide square were both cut with dies from the Stitched Shapes framelits (#145372). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach both the sentiment and guitar to the card.

I often hear that people struggle with masculine cards so I hope I have inspired you with some easy masculine cards this week.

Masculine card 6

Welcome,

Here’s yet another of the masculine cards I have for you this week.

I have used Soft Suede (#119982) for the base card and on top of this is True Gentleman Designer Series Paper (#145593). The card for the banners are Soft Suede, Night Of Navy (#106577) and Tranquil Tide (#144252). The banners were cut with the Banner Triple Punch (#138292) which allows you to cut 3 sizes - 2”, 1-1/2” and 1”. The hats and sentiment are both from the Guy Greetings stamp set (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178). The hats were stamped with Soft Suede ink (#126978) and Happy Birthday with Night OF Navy ink (#126970). I cut this with the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372) and sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. This was then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I have one more masculine card to show tomorrow, so till then, have a good day.
