Year Of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone,

The Year Of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper (#144640) has 4 different foil designs suitable for all occasions. This gorgeous paper has silver, gold, copper and champagne foil in the designs. The pack includes 12 sheets with 3 of each 4 single sided designs.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the row of dots along the bottom were cut using the die from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits (#144678). Then I attached a piece of Copper Foil sheet (#142020) under the dots. I used the Year Of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape (#144644) above and below the piece of the Year Of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper. I cut a piece of Copper Foil Sheet (#142020) using the Eastern Medallions Thinlits (#143725) and the outside circle with one of the dies from the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705). I also cut another circle the same size from Whisper White card and attached it to the back of the medallion, then attached this to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The scalloped circle with the sentiment is also cut with the Layering Circles Framelits. The sentiment is from  Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154), and stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder (#141636), which of course needs to be heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The leaves are cut using a die from the Pretty Pines Thinlits (#141851) from both Copper Foil Sheets and Champagne Foil Sheets (#144748), then glued under the medallion using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The copper sequin from the Metallic Sequin Assortment (#144214) was also glued with the fine-tip glue pen. You only need a very small dot of glue for these sequins.

That's all for today,

Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper

Hello,

This beautiful Designer Series Paper is Painted Autumn (#144613) from the Holiday catalogue.

The cardstock used for this card is Very Vanilla (#106550), Cajun Craze (#121683), and Garden Green (#108605). The sentiment from Ribbon Of Courage (#c143855, #w143852) was stamped with Garden Green ink (#126973). Happy Birthday from the Balloon Celebration stamp set (#p140675)) was also stamped with Garden Green ink then cut with the die from the Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488). I also cut another banner from Cajun Craze card and placed behind the greeting. I used the Layering Square Framelits (#141708) for the scalloped square, and the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372) for the other square and circle. The die for the little swirls can be found in the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits (#144678). These were glued to the card using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). Both the sentiments were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Have a fabulous day.

Gift card holder

Hi & welcome,

If you are giving a gift card, this Gift card holder is perfect. Of course you can change it to suit birthdays or any special occasion.

The Crumb Cake card (#121685) which was used for the base is cut at 25cm x 10.5cm. On the long side it was scored at 7.5cm, 10 cm, 12.5cm and 20cm.  Fold the score lines as shown below.

Now tape the bottom of the mountain fold together and punch along the fold with the Classic Label punch (#141491) as shown. You will need to punch twice, leaving a small piece on each side. This is where the gift card will be held.

I cut the flowers on the front flap with the dies from the Card Front Builder Thinlits (#144674). Then I added a piece of Real Red card (#106578) under the flap. The DSP is from the Quilted Christmas 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (#144617). I stamped Merry Christmas from the Star Of Light stamp set (#p142110) using Real Red ink (#126949) on Whisper White card (#106549).
The circles for the belly band were cut with the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705) using Soft Suede card (#119982) on Whisper White card. For the tree I used Garden Green card (#108605) and Soft Suede for the deer. These dies are from the Card Front Builder Thinlits (#144674). The stars are stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#121685) and these are from the Carols Of Christmas stamp set (#c144804, #w144801). I attached the tree with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (#144108) and the circles were attached to the belly band with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

That's all for today.

Delightful Daisy DSP

Hi everyone,

Here's a pretty card using the beautiful Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (#144137).

I mounted the DSP onto the Whisper White base card (#106549). I stamped the Thank You from the Delightful Daisy stamp set (#p143669) using Wisteria Wonder ink (#126985), then I embossed the Whisper White triangular piece of card using the Quilt Top Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#144687). I used the de-embossed side for the front of the card. I cut a piece of Wisteria Wonder card (#124389) slightly bigger than the Whisper White and attached this to the DSP with the White card on top. The butterfly was cut with a die from the Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135) and attached to the card with a Mini Stampin' Dimensional (#144108), then I added a Metal Rimmed Pearl (#138394) to the butterfly to finish the card.

Be Merry Designer Series Paper

Hello,

This is one of the "make & takes" we did this weekend at the retreat.

An A4 piece of Smokey Slate card (#131291) was cut in half lengthways (10.5cm) then a piece was cut off one end at 8cm. This 8cm piece was used on the card front. Then I scored the longer piece at 7cm for the base card. The designer series paper is from the Be Merry DSP (#144111) and attached to the base card.  The Whisper White card (#106549) is 22cm x 8.5cm and scored in half at 11cm. The Smokey Slate card which was cut off  the longer piece was stamped with the Half Full stamp set (#c144999, #w144996) using VersaMark (#102283) for a subtle image. The images in the circle are also from the same stamp set, and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). Using a Blender Pen (#102845) and Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966), I coloured the "wine" in the glass. I used Smokey Slate ink (#131179) with an Aqua Painter (#103954) to add colour to the top part of the glass and the shadows under the glasses. I added some glitter using the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the glasses. The circles were cut with the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705) and attached to the cardfront with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

That's all for another day.

Acetate Card Box

Hello Ladies & Guys,

I'm continuing to have a lovely relaxing but productive time at the retreat. Another challenge was to use the Acetate Card Box (#145486). (Sorry but I was having trouble getting a good photo).

I embossed the box with a (retired) stars embossing folder. I wrapped one of the Pick A Pattern Washi tapes (#144166) around the box. Then I added the Red Glimmer Paper (121790) which was punched with the Everyday Label Punch (#144668). The sentiment is from the Ribbon Of Courage stamp set (#c143855, #w143852) and stamped with Real Red ink (#126949) on Whisper White card (#106549). This was cut out with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits (#141497), then I cut again using Basic Black card, and attached the swirly cut out to the box. The fine swirl was cut using a die from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits (#144678) and glued to the glimmer paper using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). I also added Black Rhinestone Jewels (#144639) to the Glimmer Paper.

These boxes hold 5 cards and envelopes but would be suitable for a variety of small gifts.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper

Hello,

I'm at a Stampin' Up! retreat for a few days and this card was one I made for a challenge. We were given the Designer Series Paper, the ribbon and gems and could make whatever we wanted using those products.

The base card is Basic Black (#121688), then the next card is Old Olive (#106576) which I mounted the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper (#144621) onto. Season's Greetings from the Snowflake Sentiments was stamped with Old Olive ink (#126953). This was then cut with the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372) and attached to the cardfront with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The 3/8" Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon (#144129) was attached to a strip of Old Olive card. The snowflakes are cut with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits (#143751), attached with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (#144108), then the Clear Faceted Gems (#144142) were added to the snowflake centres.

I'm having a great time at the retreat making cards and doing some long awaited scrapbook pages, so must get back to it.

Have a great weekend.
