Mixed Bunch birthday

Hello and Welcome,

I love this flower from the Mixed Bunch stamp set (#125537), and I have heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and White Embossing powder (#109132) on Calypso Coral card.

The Blossom punch (#125603) coordinates with the flowers from this set. The Card stock for this card is Calypso Coral (#124392) and Whisper White (#106549). The folder to emboss the White card is Framed Tulips (#121809). The flourish from Everything Eleanor (#124164) was stamped with Wild Wasabi ink (#126959). Gorgeous Grunge (#130517) was used on the background using Crumb Cake ink (#126975). The butterfly from Papillon Potpourri (#123759) was stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#126983) and punched with the Bitty Butterfly punch (#129406). I added the smallest of the Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to the butterfly, with a Large Pearl Basic Jewel (#129324) in the centre of the flower. Happy Birthday is from the Express Yourself stamp set and was heat embossed with White embossing powder. The punch used for this is the Modern Label (#119849). Stampin' Dimensionals were used to attach the flower, butterfly and sentiment.

Thought for the day-

Have a great weekend,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Christmas Star single stamp

Hello to all,

This lovely Christmas Star stamp (#134813) is available as a single stamp.

The card stock is Real Red (#126949) and Whisper White (#106549).
I stamped the Star using Versamark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold embossing powder (#109129) - ( yes I do love embossing powders).
Then using the masking method on the star, I stamped using the En Francais (#127790) background stamp with Crumb Cake ink (#126975). (To mask an image, stamp the image on a piece of paper, cut out and place over the image on the card. When you stamp another image, such as the background, it won't stamp over the original image.)
Peace in Earth is from the Calm Christmas set (#132736) with Real Red ink (#126949), and the Framelit used was the Oval Collection (#129381). The punch under this is the Decorative Label (#120907).

Thought for the day-

Have a great day,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Joyful Christmas Wishes

Hi,

I gold embossed onto Vellum for this beautiful flower from Joyful Christmas stamp set (#131805).

The card stock used is Whisper White (# 106549), Cherry Cobbler (#121681), Gumball Green (#127543) and the DSP is from the Season of Style DSP Stack (#132181). The White Vellum (#106584) was heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Gold embossing powder (#109129). I stamped 2 images of the flower, and cutting by hand, cut the full flower, then inner petals from the 2nd image. I used Stampin' Dimensionals on each layer. A Frosted Finishes Embellishment (#132150) was added to the center of the flower using Crystal Effects (#101055). This is a very strong adhesive (as well as using to create a glossy look to your image).
I stamped using Gold Metallic Encore ink (# 132141) with the En Francais background stamp (#127790) onto the Cherry Cobbler card.
The Finishing Touches Edglits were used on the Gumball Green card on the side of the card. Joyful Christmas wishes was also gold heat embossed. I cut 3 labels from Apothercary Accents framelits from the different coloured card and layered them for a nice effect.

Thought for the day-

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Timeless Talk with Chevron punch

Hello and welcome,

I used the " stamping off" method for the bicycle on today's card.

For this method, ink your image, stamp onto the card then continue stamping without re-inking to give a lighter image each time. I used the Timeless Talk stamp set (#126607), and for the sentiment I used Itty Bitty Banners (#126257). The ink used was StazOn Jet Black (#101406). Card Stock used is Crushed Curry (#131288), Basic Black (#121688) and Very Vanilla (#106550). The Chevron Border Punch (#132154) was used on Crushed Curry and Basic Black card, and I used the cut out pieces to add to the card. The ribbon is the Silver 1/8" ribbon (#132147). The Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267) cut out the sentiment and Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach this to the card.

Thought for the day-

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Harvest Blessings

Hi,

Today we had a family get together where we had a presentation by Frank Manthey, the "Bilby Man" about Bilbys. These are an endangered species and are being saved by Frank by building fences to keep out predators. This is a card I made to thank him for his time.

The card stock used are Cajun Craze (#121683), Midnight Muse (#127546), Very Vanilla (#106550) and Natural Composition Specialty DSP (#126917). Stamp sets are Harvest Blessings (#126452) and Fabulous Phrases (#120501) and both using the Cajun Craze ink (#126965). The Labels Collection Framelits were used as well as the Festive Piercing pack (#127857). I then added the Vintage Trickets (#118764) to the label. I embossed the Midnight Muse with the Honeycomb folder (#129378). The ribbon is Midnight Muse 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon. The punches used for the sentiment are Word Window (#119857) and Modern Label (#119849). Stampin Dimensionals were used for the Sentiment and to attach the DSP to the card.

This is one of my granddaughters with the "Bilby Man" and a Bilby.

That's all for today,

Another Epic Day This and That DSP card

Hello again,

I have used the same Epic Day This and That DSP (#130814) again as I did yesterday but highlighting different colours from the same paper.

I added a small amount of Basic Black (#121688) behind some of the elements. The other card stock used is Daffodil Delight (#121680) and Pool Party (#124391). The butterfly from Papillion Potpourri stamp set (#123759) was heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Gold embossing powder (#109129) and punched with the Elegant Butterfly (#127526). The black behind the (retired) Pool Party Ribbon was punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border (#119275). Happy Birthday is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (#126257). The Framelits used are Bitty Banners (#129267), Ovals Collection (#129381) and Chalk Talk (#129983). Embossing folders used were Perfect Polka Dots (#117335) and Woodgrain (#127821). The DSP from Epic Day This and That (#130814) have some of my favourite colours, so was able to use them for this card.

The stamp sets are Express Yourself (#130339) for the sentiment and Mixed Bunch (#125537) for the flower. The ink is Calypso Coral (#126983). The coordinating punch is the Blossom punch (#125603). I added an Antique Brad (#117273) to the flower centre, and the flower was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Everything Eleanor Birthday

Hi to all,

I have spent most of the day making my Christmas cards and decorations, so for a change for the day, here is a birthday card I've just made.

Daffodil Delight and Cherry Cobbler are the colours on this card.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) which has been embossed with the Pretty Print textured folder (#132175). Everything Eleanor (#124164) and Sassy Salutations (#126707) are the stamp sets used. I stamped the "label" using Crumb Cake ink (#126975), and fussy cut it (wish there was a Framelit to fit!!). Then I heat embossed the Happy Birthday with Versamark (#102283) and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder (#122949). I used Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966) to sponge around the label. The Daffodil Delight ink (#126944) was used for the flower and other image. The circles were cut using the Circles Collection Framelits (#130911), and the flower was also fussy cut. The ribbon is Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain (#126872). I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) for the label and flower to add dimension to the card. A rhinestone Basic Jewel (#119246) was added to the centre of the flower.

Thought for the day-

Well it's back to my Christmas cards, so till next time,

Gift box

Hello

This very versatile box is very easy to make using a piece of A4 card.

On a piece of Naturals Ivory card, score on the long side at 2", 5 1/2", 7 1/2" and 11". Then score 2" from the bottom. See image below. Then cut to the score lines from the bottom to the 2" score line, and the rectangle on the bottom right needs to be cut off. Another line can be scored at 1" and 6 1/2" but only to the score line at the bottom. This forms the gusset in the side of the bag.

The Christmas Star (#134813) was randomly stamped using Wisteria Wonder (#126959). Gorgeous Grunge was stamped with the Gold Metallic Encore ink (#132141).
Fold on the score lines to make the box. Use Sticky Strip (#104294) to tape the box. This is great for 3D projects as it is extra sticky.
2 holes were punched at the top for the Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon (#120999) to make the bow.
Another 2 stars were stamped using Versa mark (#102283) and Silver Embossing powder (#109131), then heat set. These were fussy cut, scored and shaped. A piece of Silver 1/8" ribbon was attached using hot melt glue. I also used this glue to put the 2 stars together. "For You" is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set(#126257). A Rhinestone Basic Jewel (#119246) was added to the centre of the star. This star can be taken off the gift bag and used as an individual decoration.

Flowering Flourishes

Hello,

This beautiful card was made at a card class presented by my friend, Susan.

The card stock is Naturals Ivory (#108630), Cajun Craze (#121683) and Always Artichoke (#108610). The Stamp sets are Flowering Flourishes (#126367), The Open Sea (#123032) and That's The Ticket (#128075). The flowering flourishes were inked with Always Artichoke (#126972), then the ink was removed from the flower and berries, and these were inked with a Cajun Craze Stampin' Write marker (#131262). Using a mask over the flourishes, the background stamp from the Open Sea was stamped. We then lightly sponged around the edges with Crumb Cake ink (#126975), then distressed using the Stampin' Distress Tool (#127562). The 7/8" Cotton Ribbon was used to make the bow. The sentiment was heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Gold embossing powder (#109129) and the punch used is the Ticket Duo Builder (#126883). I added Cherry Cobbler dazzling details (#125585) to the "dots" on the flourishes.

Blossom punch

Hello,

I used the Blossom punch (#125603) to punch the flower from the Whisper white card (#106549).

The Base card is also Whisper White and the DSP is from the Brights Colour Collection DSP Stack (#130134). I embossed the Whisper White card (after punching the flower) with the Perfect Polka Dots folder (#117335). I attached this to the DSP with Stampin Dimensionals (#104430), then added an Antique Brad (#117273) to the centre of the flower.
Happy Anniversary is from Express Yourself stamp set (#130339), and stamped with Real Red ink (#126949). This piece of Whisper White was cut using the Finishing Touches Edgelits (#127010) and attached to a piece of Real Red card (#106578). The small flowers are punched with the Boho Blossoms from Real Red Card, and the Basic Black (#121688) was punched with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (#118309). I added the Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) to the centres and attached the flowers with Dimensionals.

Mixed Bunch wedding card

Hello again,

We have a wedding on this weekend, so this is here is the card I made for the lovely couple.

The colours on the invitations were silver and very similar to the Coastal Cabana, so just had to do the card in the same colours.
The base card is Coastal Cabana (#131302). Other cardstock are Whisper White (#106549) and Brushed Silver (#124918). The embossing folder used is Delicate Designs (#127023) and the die used is the Large Scallop Edgelits (#127019). I also cut a piece of Brushed silver with the scallop and attached to the bottom of the white card. This scallop coordinates with the embossing folder. Always cut your dies before embossing (otherwise the embossing will be flattened). The heart is from the Hearts A Flutter Framelits (#130159). The ink is Coastal Cabana (#131176). Congratulations is from Sassy Salutations (#126707) stamp set, and Petite Pairs (#122497) has the "For the New Mr & Mrs". Mixed Bunch stamp set (#125537) has this beautiful floral image which has been stamped with Versamark (#102283) and Silver Embossing powder (#109131). The punch to coordinate with this flower is the Blossom punch (#125603). I also punched a piece of Coastal Cabana, cut the petals and taped them to the back, just showing the edges. The beautiful Frosted Finishes Embellishments (#132150) were added to the flower using Crystal effects (#101055) to ensure a strong adhesion. The ribbon is 1/8" Silver ribbon (#132137) from the holiday catalogue. I added 2 rows of ribbon, then the bow was added using glue dots (#103683). Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the flower and heart.

Everything Eleanor

Hello Stampers,

The flowers from the Everything Eleanor stamp set (#124164) have been heat embossed with White embossing powder (#108132) and Versamark (#101731), on Raspberry Ripple card (#127545).

The base card is also Raspberry Ripple, with Whisper White (#106549) which has been cut on one edge with the Finishing Touches Egdelits (#127010). I then embossed with the Pretty Print folder (#132175). I stamped with Pink Pirouette (#126956) for the label which is from the Everything Eleanor set, then cut by hand. Happy Birthday is from Bring on the Cake stamp set (#121958) and stamped with Raspberry Ripple ink (#126859). I also sponged around this label. Chalk Talk and Open Sea

Hi,

The Chalk Talk tag (#129983) is a favourite, and works well on a card.

I used this design recently for a Christmas Card and liked it, so I wanted to make a Birthday card with the same design. It's interesting to see how different colours and stamps can make 2 cards so different.
The card stock is Island Indigo (#124390), Very Vanilla (#106550) and Cherry Cobbler (#121681). Happy Birthday is from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (#126707), and stamped with Island Indigo ink (#126986). I embossed the Very Vanilla card with the Pretty Print folder (#132175). The DSP is from the Venetian Romance (#130144). The ship from the Open Sea stamp set (#123032) is heat embossed with Versamark (#102193) and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder (#122949). The tag was cut with the Chalk Talk Framelits (#129983) and I sponged around the edges with the Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966). The Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch (#119275) was used for the Cherry Cobbler "ribbon". The Island Indigo ribbon is unfortunately retired, but looks great for this card.

Label Card

Hello all

Another variation for the Thinlits Label Card. This time I used the largest Framelit from the Labels Collection (#125598) as well.

Starting with a piece of Whisper White card (#106549) cut at 139mm x 165mm. Place on Thinlits Label Card die (#133479) as shown below.

Once cut, fold as normal. Then using the largest die from the Labels Collection Framelits (#125598), place over folded card and cut using the big shot.

I embossed using the Stripes folder (#123128) on the left side of the card. The Red Glimmer Paper was cut with the label Framelit from the Thinlits Labels card set. Peace on Earth is from the Calm Christmas set (#132739), as well as the sentiment which is inside the card. Real Red ink (#126949) was used on the sentiments as well as sponging around the edges of the card. An oval from the Ovals Collection framelits (#129381) cut the Peace on Earth, and was attached using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The dove from Calm Christmas was stamped using Versamark (#102283) and Gold embossing powder (#109129) then heat set using the Heat Tool (#129056).

I made the envelope for the card using the fantastic Envelope Punch Board (#133774). This is such a great tool and now available to order. It will make 66 different size envelopes and is super easy to use. As well, you can use any colour card or DSP to brighten up your envelopes.

Extended Label Card

Hello again,

Another variation for the Thinlits Label card - an extended label card. This is one of the cards we made at my card class today.

Cut the card stock to 139mm x 220mm. This allows the card to fit into the Label card as shown below.

Cut using the Big shot (#113439). The extended part of the card won't get cut as its outside of the Framelit. It will however give a bit of a score line, so this is where you will fold the card. This gives extra space for writing as shown in the photos above.
I embossed with the Perfect Polka Dot folder (#117335) on the left side of the card. The DSP is from the Brights Colour Collection DSP Stack (#130134). The flowers are from the Flower Shop stamp set (#130942), and heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129). Card stock used are Whisper White (#106549) and Pacific Point (#108601) for one of the flowers. I also used the Champagne Glimmer Paper (#127885) and punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border (#119275), as well as the label under the sentiment. Birthday wishes is stamped using Pacific Point ink (#126951) and is from Bring on the Cake stamp set (#121958).

Thinlits Label Card

Hi,

I have been playing with the Thinlits Label card and wanted to do something a bit different, so this I what I came up with.

Yes, an oval card which is very easy. Just cut out the Whisper White card (#106549) with the Thinlits Label Card (#133479) as normal and fold in the usual way. Then I got the large oval scallop from the Ovals Collection (#129381), placed over the card and put it through the big shot to cut it. I love it!
I then embossed the left side using the Perfect Polka Dots folder (#117335). The Crisp Cantaloupe card (#131303) was cutbusing the label Framelit from the Label Card set, then embossed with the Fancy Fan folder (#127751). The DSP from Venetian Romance (#130144) was cut with an oval also from the Oval Thinlits. The flower from the Secret Garden set (#129144) was heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Gold embossing powder (#109129). This was cut with the Secret Garden Framelits (#129372). I taped the left side of the flower to the card. Happy Birthday is from Express Yourself stamp set (#130330) from the Hostess products. The punch used is the Modern Label (#119849)

Inside the card, the sentiment is from Petite Pairs stamp set (#122497).

Tomorrow I will have another variation using the Thinlits Label Card.

Thought for the day-

Have a great day,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

MDS

Hello Stampers and Scrapers,

I have had one of my granddaughters for a sleep over, so I just had to do a quick scrapbook page of her.

I don't have a list of exactly what I used, but I have added a background, added the photos which I matted and added a shadow. I then used embellishments, punches and stamps. It's easy just to browse what you have available and add to the page. I also matched colours to change some of the elements so it all coordinated.
There are always new downloads to add to your MDS so why not check out what's available. Just contact me if you want any more information.

Hearts a Flutter

Hi everyone,

Red is the typical colour representing love, but I decided I wanted to make a love card using other colours so I have used Bermuda Bay (#131286) Crushed Curry (#131288) and Whisper White (#106549).

On the base card I embossed with the Delicate Designs folder (#127023). The white card is embossed with the Pretty Print folder (#132175). The punch used on the Crushed Curry is the Scallop Trim Border (#118402). The Hearts are stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#131171) and Crushed Curry ink (#131173) And these hearts are from the Hearts a Flutter stamp set (#129252). The hearts are cut using the Hearts a Flutter Framelits (#130159). Love is part of the Expressions Thinlets Dies (#132171). After glueing to the card I used Crystal Effects (#101055) on the Love image for a nice shine.

Thought for the day-

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.
