Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper

Welcome,

I will be sad to see this gorgeous Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper (#144147) retire. The good news is that the co-ordinating Eastern Beauty stamp set (#p143675) and  Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies (#143725) will still be available.

This DSP which has a beautiful gold foil design, has been attached to the Fresh Fig DSP from the same pack. This was then attached to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). I cut the Medallion from Fresh Fig card (#144248) with 3 dies from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits. I adhered one of the gold stickers from the Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers (#144150) to a piece of Very Vanilla card, then cut it with co-ordinating dies. I attached this to the Fresh Fig Medallion with a Stampin’ Dimensional (#104430). The sentiment from the Eastern Beauty stamp set is stamped with Fresh Fig ink (#144082). I added 3 gold Metallic Sequins (#144214) to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue pen (#138309).
Simply Elegant!!

That’s all for today.

Coffee Break Designer Series Paper

Welcome again everyone,

This week I am going to highlight some of our current Designer Series Paper, but will be retired with the current catalogue at the end of May.

The DSP I have used today is Coffee Break (#144155). The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the other cardstock is Soft Suede (#119982) and Pear Pizzaz (#131290). The sentiment is from the Balloon Celebration stamp set (#p140675) and stamped with Soft Suede ink (#126978). I cut this with a square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372). To cut a rectangle, firstly cut the square, but with it off centre. After cutting, move the die (as shown) to cut the rectangle, and roll through the big shot again.

The banner under the sentiment is cut 1” wide and the “v” is cut with the Banner Triple punch (#138292). The ribbon is 5/8” Burlap (#141487). I added the larger piece of Soft Suede card using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I hope you have a great week.

Cross Of Hope Sympathy card

Hi ladies & guys,

The Cross Of Hope Framelits (#145654) have been used to cut this beautifully detailed cross as well as the background cross.

I used Silver Foil sheet (#132178) and Wisteria Wonder card (#124389) for the cross. I cut the detailed cross with Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) on the back of the silver foil, so you just need to remove the release paper to adhere the silver foil to the Wisteria Wonder cross. The base card is also Wisteria Wonder and the card front is Whisper White (#106549). I stamped the images from the Timeless Textures stamp set (#c140517, #w140514) onto the background with Wisteria Wonder ink (#126985). I then applied the Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645) with a palette knife (#142808) and used the brickwork mask from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks (#144103). This gives a lovely shimmery texture to the card. With Sympathy is from Flourishing Phrases stamp set (#c141534, #w141531) and stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink (#126969). I used an oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372) to cut the sentiment, then this was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The cross was also attached with Dimensionals.
The Wisteria Wonder Card and Ink, and Elegant Eggplant ink are the retiring products used on this card.

Enjoy your day.

Hello Friend

Hello friends,

I have used the Hello Friend stamp set (#c144059, #w144055) for this card, and yes it is another retiring set.

The cardstock for this card is Crushed Curry (#131288), Very Vanilla (#106550) and Soft Suede (#119982). I embossed the Very Vanilla cardfront with the Brick Wall Emboss Folder (#138288) - also retiring. I stamped the wreath, firstly with Crushed Curry ink (#131288), followed by VersaMark (#102283), so I could emboss with Clear Emboss Powder (#109130) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The Stamparatus makes this so easy to be able to perfectly stamp the ink and the VersaMark. This allows you to emboss any colour you wish to use, by using the clear Emboss powder with any colour ink. The sentiment and the image on the smaller circle were stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#126975). The circles were cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372) and the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705). The largest circle was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Celebrate and the banner outline are from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set (#p141614) and cut with the Classic Label punch (#141491). This was attached to the Burlap Ribbon (#141487). I added the flowers and leaves from the Touches Of Nature Elements (#144216) using Mini Glue Dots (#103683). These wooden embellishments also have a light whitewash finish on the reverse side, but the wooden side was perfect for this card.

Have a great weekend.

Guy Greetings with True Gentleman DSP

Welcome friends,

Another retiring stamp set which is a favourite of mine is the Guy Greetings stamp set (#c#138828, #w138825, #p137178).

The True Gentleman Designer Series Paper (#145593) - (also be retiring from the Occasions catalogue) - has been attached to the Night Of Navy base card (#106577). I stamped the images onto Very Vanilla card (#106550). The sentiment, car and tools are all from Guy Greetings and the dots are from the Timeless Textured stamp set (#140517, #w140514). The inks I used are Night Of Navy (#126970) and Crumb Cake (#126975). The rectangular piece of card was attached to Tranquil Tide card and mounted to the base card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I punched the sentiment with the Tailored Tag punch (#145667), then punched a piece of Night Of Navy, cut it in half longways and taped it to the back of the sentiment and attached this to the card.

That’s all for today.

Scrapbook page with Vintage Leaves

Hi,

Some more Vintage Leaves, this time for a scrapbook page.

The leaves are from Vintage Leaves stamp set (#p138802). I applied the different coloured inks using daubers (#133773). The inks I used are Crushed Curry (#131173), Cajun Craze (#126965), Garden Green (#126973), Cherry Cobbler (#126966) and Crumb Cake (#126975). These leaves were then cut with the co-ordinating Leaflets Framelits (#138283). I cut the flowers with the Flourish Thinlits (#141478). Very Vanilla 12”x12” card (#144239) was used for the base, and the other cardstock is Garden Green (#108605), Cajun Craze (#121683), Pear Pizzaz (#131290) and Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). I stamped with VersaMark (#102283) on the Garden Green card using an image from the Timeless Textures stamp set (#c140517, #w140514) to give a watermark effect. The flowers and leaves were attached to the page with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

I have been trying to organise my craft room over the last few weeks. One thing I have done is stamp all my stamp sets so it is easy to quickly look through a folder and find a particular image, especially when looking for sentiments. I have also cut all the framelits and put next to the co-ordinating stamp sets. Another thing I have done is to photograph each set of framelits and put a photo into each pack, so its easy to see what dies are in each set. It’s been a much bigger task than I first anticipated but know it will be worth it in the future.

Vintage Leaves

Hello Ladies & Guys,

At this time of the year I like to use as many as possible of the retiring products, so here are some on this card.

The Vintage Leaves stamp set (#p138802) and the co-ordinating Leaflets Framelits (#138283) are among the retiring products. I stamped the leaves with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Emboss Powder (#109129) on Very Vanilla card (#106550). This was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056) before cutting them with the framelits. I then coloured the leaves by sponging them with Crushed Curry ink (#131173), Garden Green ink (#126973), Cajun Craze ink (#121683) and Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966). The Very Vanilla base card was embossed with the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#141493). The Designer Series Paper from the beautiful Delightful Daisy pack (#144137)- (retiring)- was attached to the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). The square behind the leaves was cut with the largest square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372). Birthday Greetings from the Birthday Delivery stamp set (#p143660) - also retiring- was gold embossed as well, then cut with a die from Magical Mates Framelits (#145660) which is also retiring. I lightly sponged around the square and sentiment with Crumb Cake ink (#126975). A piece of Gold Foil sheet was also placed under the sentiment. The sentiment and the top leaf were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). A Glitter Enamel Dot (#144200) was added to the card.

Enjoy your day,

Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Hi again,

The Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (#145656) consists of 2 narrow folders so makes it easy to just emboss part of a card front.

I embossed the Whisper White card, then stamped Happy Birthday from the Vertical Greetings stamp set (#c141876, #w141873) with Night Of Navy ink (#126970). This was attached to Real Red card (#106578) then I added the 1/2” Night Of Navy Gingham Ribbon, before attaching this card front to the Night Of Navy base card (#106577). The 2 squares are cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372), and I stamped the flower image from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set (#c139950, #w138694). This was stamped with Night Of Navy ink but I stamped off twice before stamping on the Whisper White card to give a lighter image. The bird was cut with a die from the Birds & Blooms Thinlits (#141477) and attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). I Used Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430) to add the Night of Navy square to card.

Enjoy your day.

Flower Shop

Hi everyone,

I will miss these flowers from the Flower Shop stamp set (#c130942, #w130939) as they are retiring, but I am sure there will be something just as nice to replace them.

The flowers were stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink (#141397) onto Whisper White card (#106549). These were punched with the co-ordinating Pansy Punch (#130698).  I stamped the flourish from the Falling Flowers stamp set (#139556, #w139553) onto the square piece of Whisper White with Wild Wasabi ink (#126959). I used the Stamparatus for this. I then cut a heart from another piece of Whisper White card using one of the dies from the Sweet & Sassy framelits (#141707). I then placed this on top of the already stamped image, and stamped again, so I could easily position the heart over the top of the card front and have the image lined up. I then cut a slightly larger heart from Flirty Flamingo card (#141421) and attached the 2 hearts together, then attached this to the card front lining up the images. The sentiment (from a retired set, So In Love) was cut with a die from the Petals & More thinlits (#145655) and the detailed piece under the sentiment is also from the same set. I am so pleased to see this set along with the Petal Palette stamp set returning in the new annual catalogue, as it is definitely a favourite of mine. I glued the detailed piece with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309) and added the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Whisper White 1/4” Organza Ribbon (#145590) was used to make the bow, which I attached with a Mini Glue Dot (#103683). I finished the card by adding Pearl Basic Jewels (#144219). The base card is Flirty Flamingo and the finished card size is 13x13cm.

Have a great day.

Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack

Hello and welcome,

The Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack (#144131) will be retiring when this catalogue ends on 31st May to make way for more exciting new papers.

I have attached the Berry Burst DSP onto the Whisper White base card (#106549). A Strip of the Silver Foil Sheet (#132178) was then added to the card, followed by a piece of Berry Burst card (#144249), which was punched on each end with the Banner Triple punch (#138292). The Silver Metallic Foil Doilie (#138392) was then attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment is from the Ribbon Of Courage stamp set (#c143855, #w143852) and stamped with Berry Burst ink (#144083). I punched this with the Everyday Label Punch (#144668) and sponged the edges with Berry Burst ink. A Pearl Basic Jewel (#144219 was added to the sentiment, and Petal Passion Embellishments were glued to the card using the Fine-Tip glue Pen (#138309). The bow was made with the Silver Bakers Twine (#145569) and attached with a Mini Glue Dot (#103683).

Have a great weekend.

Daisy Delight

Welcome,

The Daisy Delight Bundle (#p145361) consists of the Daisy Delight stamp set (#p143669) and the Daisy Punch (#143713) and have been used to stamp and punch this flower.

To make the daisy, just stamp and punch twice, then put together with Stampin’Dimensionals (#104430), offsetting the petals. I used Crushed Curry ink (#131173) on Crushed Curry card (#131288). The base card is also Crushed Curry and the card front is Very Vanilla (#106550). I stamped Thank You from the Daisy Delight stamp set with Crushed Curry ink. The ovals were cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706) and the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372). I embossed the card front with the Softly Fally Embossing Folder 139672). The leaves were cut with the Petals & More Thinlits Dies (#145655) from Wild Wasbi card (#111850). I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (#144106) on the Wild Wasabi card to make it easy to adhere these leaves to the card. A Gold Faceted Gem (#144141) was added to the centre of the daisy, and I added Glitter Enamel Dots (#144200) around the oval.

That’s all for now.

Inspired Events

Hello everyone,

Isn’t this a beautiful card for a very special occasion.

The Stamparatus (which will be available from 1st June) was very useful when stamping the ornate corners. I placed the image in place for one corner, then all I had to do is rotate the card to stamp each corner image. So easy!! These images and the sentiment are from the Inspired Events stamp set (#p143693) using Peekaboo Peach ink (#141398). The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Peekaboo Peach (#141422). The squares were cut with the Layering Squares Framelits (#141708) and the cross is cut with a die from the Cross Of Hope Framelits (#145654). I glued  the cross with the Fine Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The top square was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The finished card size is 15x15cm so I will make an envelope using the Envelope Punch Board (#133774).

Hope your day is great.

More Butterflies

Hello again,

Yes, another card with butterflies with another favourite colour combination - yellow and black.

The cardstock for this card is Crushed Curry (#131288), Basic Black (#121688), Shimmery White (#121717) and Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper (@144118). Firstly I cut the butterfly with the Move Me Thinlits (143732) on the Shimmery White cardfront, then cut another one to place over the top. I used a piece of the Designer Series Paper under the butterfly as well as on top of the cardfront which I stamped the sentiment onto. Thinking Of You is from the Colorful Seasons stamp set (p143726) and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (132708). The small butterflies are stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#131173). These butterflies are from the You Move Me stamp set (#144002) and cut with a die from Move Me Thinlits. These were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I used the Pick A Pattern Washi Tape (#144166) on the DSP and a Glitter Enamel Dot (144200) on the butterfly. I also added some of the Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the butterfly.

Enjoy your day.

Move Me Thinlits

Hi Ladies & Guys,

Most people would know by now that I love butterflies and purple, and as Elegant Egglplant, Wisteria Wonder and the Move Me Thinlits are retiring, I couldn’t resist making a card using these favourite products.

I used Elegant Eggplant card (#108614) for the base card as well as the solid part of the butterfly. Wisteria Wonder card (#124389) was used for the detailed butterfly and the butterflies were cut with the Move Me Thinlits143732). The card front is Whisper White (#106549). I stamped the images from Timeless Textures stamp set (#c140517, #w140514) using Wisteria Wonder ink (#126985). Then using the Pattern Party Decorative Masks (#144103) and a Palette Knife (#142808), I spread the Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645) over the card. The sentiment is from the Beautiful Day stamp set (#c145915, #w145912) and stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink (#126969). The die to cut this is from the Petal & More Thinlits Dies (#145655) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The butterflies were also attached with Dimensionals, then I finished the card by glueing the sequins from the Metallics Assortment (#144214) using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Have a great day.

Touches of Texture & Embossing Paste

Hello again friends,

Last week I attended On Stage in Sydney so just had to do a couple of scrapbook pages of the day. I made my own designer paper for this double page.

The base page is 12”x12” Very Vanilla card (#144239). I stamped the “splattered” image from Touches Of Textures stamp set (#c143251, #w141934) using VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). Next I applied the Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645) using a mask from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks (#144103) and spreading the paste with one of the Palette Knives (#142808). This doesn’t take long to dry, so it’s important to clean the mask and knife immediately under running water. I then stamped the other swirly image from Timeless Textures stamp set (#c140517, #w140514) with Crumb Cake ink (#126975). I matted the photos with Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) and Basic Black card (#121688). The titles are also from Basic Black card and cut with an electronic cutter. I adhered the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (#144106) to the back of the Black card before cutting to make it easier to apply the letters and numbers to the page.

Enjoy your day.

Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hello friends,

This gorgeous Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (#145580) with Gold foil accents, would be suitable for a card for any special occasion. There is a variety of colourful sophisticated designs in the pack. This is one of the many products on the retiring list. Don’t forget to check them out here for the occasions catalogue, and here for the annual catalogue.

The base card is Very Vanilla (#106550) as is the card for the sentiment. The DSP has been attached to a piece of Rich Razzleberry card (#119981). For the banners I used Rich Razzleberry card and Melon Mambo card (#119980). These were cut 2” wide, which allows you to cut the “V” with the Banner Triple Punch (#138292). I embossed the banners with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#139672) and the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#146841). This basket weave folder was a Saleabration product but will be available to purchase in the upcoming Annual catalogue. Thank You is from the Rose Wonder stamp set (#p140697) and this was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I used the oval from Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372) to cut the sentiment. Under the sentiment is a small Metallic Foil Doilie (#138392) and a piece of Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) cut with a die from the Petal & More Thinlits (#145655). I also added Gold Metallic Thread (#138401) and a wooden leaf from the Touches Of Nature Elements (#144216). I gold embossed this leaf using VersaMark & Gold Emboss powder and heat set it just the same as you would do on cardstock. The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I glued the leaf with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Have a great weekend.

Scrapbook page

Hi and welcome,

I was really pleased with how these scrapbook pages turned out using the Petal Palette Bundle (#c145974, #w145973) and the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper (#144155). They are simple pages - I don’t like to make them complicated.

The base page is 12”x12” Whisper White card (124302). The A4 cardstock I used is Early Espresso (#121686), Old Olive (#106576), Whisper White (#106549) for the flowers and Soft Sky (#131292) for the bird. I stamped the bird with Soft Sky ink (#131181) and the single flowers with Real Red (#126949). For the flowers at the bottom of the page, I used Real Red and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker from the Brights Collection (#131259) and Early Espresso from the Neutrals Collection (#131261) to add colour to the stamp. The branches and leaves were attached using the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (#144106) and the birds and flowers were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Enjoy your day.

Petal Palette

Hello ladies & guys,

Well I am back home after a fantastic weekend in Sydney at the Stampin’ Up! On stage event on Saturday. A huge thank you to Stampin’ Up! for putting on such a great day. It’s great to catch up with “old” friends and meet new ones, all who share their love for Stampin” Up!

OK, now for for today’s card. The Petal Palette Bundle (#c145974, #w145973) is a favourite of mine from the Occasions catalogue.

The Designer Series Paper is from Petal Passion DSP (#145589), and this was attached to the Cherry Cobbler base card (#121681). I embossed the Vellum cardstock (#106584) with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#139672). Best Wishes and the bird are both from the Petal Palette stamp set (#c145788, #145785) and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966). The sentiment, bird and the lacy border are all cut with dies from the Petals & More Thinlits Dies (#145655). I used Basic Black card (#121688) which I adhered some Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) to the back, before cutting this lacy border, which makes it easy to attach this to the card. Best Wishes & the bird were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Have a great day.

Hexagons 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Hello all,

Today I have embossed on the Vellum cardstock (#106584) using the Hexagons 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#143231). This folder embossing beautifully on the vellum.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the strip of Designer Series Paper is from The Wood Textures DSP Pack (#144177), then the embossed Vellum is attached on top of that. The dragonfly is cut with a die from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits (#142749) and I used Basic Black card (#121688). I added some shimmer to the dragonfly with the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897). The sentiment is from A Good Day stamp set (#c145873, #w145870) and stamped with Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Ink (#140931). I punched this with the 1-3/8”Scallop Circle Punch (#146193) and this was attached to the Soft Suede card (#119982) which was punched with the Pretty Label punch (#143715). Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the sentiment and dragonfly to the card.

I am heading to Sydney for “On Stage” tomorrow, so I will be back again next week. Looking forward to a fantastic weekend with fellow Stampin’ Up demonstrators.

Have a great weekend.

Hold On To Hope Sympathy Card

Hi & Welcome,

One question I am often asked about Vellum is can you heat emboss on it. Yes you can, just the same as any cardstock.

The base card and card front are Whisper White (#106549). I embossed on the card front with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#139672). The leaf/flower image from the Hold On To Hope stamp set (#c145780, #w145776) has been stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) on Vellum cardstock #106584) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was then cut with the co-ordinating Cross Of Hope Framelits (#145654). I glued these images to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). With Sympathy is from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set (#c141534, #w141531) and this was also Gold Embossed, then attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The cross is also from the Cross Of Hope Framelits using Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and glued to the card.

I hope you are having an enjoyable day.

Lovely Wishes

Hello,

I have had a number of customers ask me about vellum lately, and how to use it,  so thought I would use vellum in a couple of different ways over the next few of days.
On this card I have stamped on the Vellum (#106584) which I have used for the cardfront.

Using Wild Wasabi ink (#126959), I stamped the leaf images from the Lovely Wishes stamp set (#p145924) onto the vellum cardstock. After stamping on Vellum this needs to be heat set so the ink won’t smudge. The sentiment and butterflies were stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#131173) onto Whisper White Card (#106549). The butterfly is from the Hold Onto Hope stamp set (#c145780, #w145776) and cut with the co-ordinating Cross Of Hope Framelits (#145654). For the flower & leaf, also from The Lovely Wishes stamp set, I used Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker (#131262) from the Regals collection and Wild Wasabi Stampin’ Write Marker (#131263) from the Subtles Collection to add ink to the stamp. The circles were cut with the 2 largest of the circle dies from the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372). Usually I would stamp before I cut with a die or punch, but for this sentiment and image I wanted to ensure it would fit, so I cut the circle first then stamped. The largest circle is Wild Wasabi card. The ribbon is 3/8” Mini Chevron in Crushed Curry (#144197). The circles and butterflies were attached to the vellum with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). To avoid seeing the tape through the vellum when attaching the vellum to the base card, I only put tape on the areas where I have ribbon, butterflies and circles.

Enjoy your day.

Petal Palette

Hello friends,

I hope you all had a Happy Easter. We had a lovely day with family, so a nice way to celebrate.

I have seen a few cards with the “Black Ice” technique. I decided to put my spin on it and use other colours rather than black. Here I have used Flirty Flamingo and just love the results.

For this technique I used Powder Pink card (#144251) for the card front. Then using the Flirty Flamingo ink pad (#141397), I dragged it from the top to the bottom of the card about half way across the card, then repeated on the other side. Depending on how “inky” your ink pad is, how much pressure you will need to use. Also, you will get more ink on some parts and less on others depending on the pressure, so will give you a unique background each time. Next I stamped the flower image from Petal Palette stamp set (#c145788, #145785) with Basic Black Archival ink (#140931). I heated this with the Heat Tool (#129056) to ensured this was dry before the next step. Then I dragged the VersaMark pad (#102283) down the card, the same as the coloured ink, then applied Clear Embossing Powder (#109130) all over the card. This was then heat set with the Heat Tool which gives a lovely “icey” look to the card. This card was attached to a piece of Basic Black card (#121688), which was then attached to the Flirty Flamingo base card (#141421). The sentiment is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154) and stamped with Basic Black ink. This was cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372)) and Layering Labels Framelits (#141706) were used to cut the black card, then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I hope you can see how shiny and “Icey” this looks like. I love the effect. Hope you do too.
