Spiral flower originals die

Hi,

The Spiral Flower Originals die (#129379) from the Occasions Catalogue was used to make these flowers.

The Cardstock is Elegant Eggplant (#108614) and Very Vanilla (#106550) for the base of this tag. They were cut with the Labels Collection framelits (#125598) and the Very Vanilla embossed with the Honeycomb Folder (#129378). The flowers are Wisteria Wonder (#124389), Daffodil Delight (#121680) and Pumpkin Pie (#108601) card.
The flowers are very easy to make. Just cut the image with the Big Shot (#113439), then using a bone folder (#102300), start curling the card stock. This makes it easier to to form the flower. Start curling from the narrower end towards to middle. The last piece in the centre forms the base of the flower. I used hot melt glue to glue the flower. The tighter you curl the flower the smaller the flower will be, so you can vary the size of the flowers.
Thank You is made from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (#126257) and Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267), and stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink (#126969). The ribbon is Very Vanilla Seam Binding (#120999).

Have a great weekend,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.

On Film Framelits dies

Hello and welcome,

Stampin' Up! continues to produce such a variety of fantastic products and the On Film Framelits dies (#132969) is no exception, available in the current Occasions catalogue.

I used the "Polaroid" die and camera for this card. These dies not only cut but emboss as well. To highlight the embossing I used Versamark (#102283) on the die before placing on the card, then put it through the Big shot (#113439).
Pumpkin Pie (#126945) ink pad was used for the lion and giraffe, and I used the Gumball Green Stampin' Write marker (#126856) for the grass.
The card stock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and Crumb Cake (#121685). The stamp sets are Zoo Review (#122199) and Sassy Salutations (#126707). I hand cut the giraffe and attached it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430)

Thought for the day-

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Peaceful Petals sympathy card

Hello ladies,

Yes, I have had another Sympathy card to make and couldn't go past these beautiful flowers from the new Peaceful Petals stamp set (#133107).

Shimmery White (#121717) and Brushed Silver (#124917) are the card stock used for this card. I love these together for a very special card. Petite Pairs (#122497) stamp set is used for the sentiment with Silver Metallic Encore ink (#132142). I heat embossed the flowers using Versamark (#102283) and Silver embossing powder (#109131). The Large Scallop Edgelits were used as well as the coordinating Delicate Designs to emboss the edge of the white card. The silver 1/8" ribbon is also available again in this new seasonal catalogue. One of the flowers was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to add dimension.

Hello again,

Today Sale - a -Bration has started, which means its that time of the year when you receive free products for every $90 purchase. Also, products are now available to order from the new seasonal catalogue. There are so many great products available. I have used some if the products in this card.

Card stock is Very Vanilla (#106550), Gumball Green (#127543), Daffodil Delight (#119677), Pool Party (#124391), Calypso Coral (#124392) with Epic Day This And That DSP (#130814).
The cute little flowers are from the Petite Petals Stamp set (#133155) and punched with the Petite Petals Punch (#133322). You can save 15% when you purchase these as a bundle (#134822). These are available from the seasonal catty. The banners are punched with the Banner Punch (#133519) and available from the sale-a-bration products. Thinking of you is from the stamp set Peaceful Petals (#133107) and cut with the smallest of the Frames Collection Framelits. The Labels Collection Framelits were used to cut the piece from the very vanilla card. I then used Stampin' Dimensionals to attach this to the Gumball Green card.
The inks used are Daffodil Delight (#126944), Calypso Coral (#126983), Pool Party (#126982) and Gumball Green (#126861). I added Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to the centre of the flowers. The flowers were attached with Glue Dots (#103683).

Open Sea

Hello,

The Open Sea stamp set (#123032) is of course a great one for a masculine card.

I thought a bit of distressing on this card was appropriate. The Stampin' Distress Tool (#127562) was used to do this. I used Baked Brown Sugar (#131301) for the base card. Other card colours are Early Espresso (#121686) and Very Vanilla (#106550). The inks used are Early Espresso (#126974) and Crumb Cake (#126975). The ship was heat embossed. If you don't have the correct colour embossing powder, just use Versamark (#102283) on the image, then colour the image with the colour you want (I used Early Espresso), then stamp the image on the card. Sprinkle with Clear embossing powder (#109130) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). If you have the new ink pads, they are much "juicer" and you can just stamp the image with the ink (no versa mark needed) and add the clear embossing powder and heat as usual.
I hand cut the ship and anchor. The Circle Collection Framelits (#130911) and the Modern Label punch have been used. Happy Birthday Wishes is from the Petite Pairs stamp set (#122497).
Another tool which I find invaluable is the Stamp-a-ma-jig (#101049). I used this to place the compass image on the card. This helps you position your image exactly where you want it. I couldn't live without my Stamp-a-ma-jig!!!

Thanks for checking out my blog,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Hardwood and Papillion Potpourri

Hi to all,

The Hardwood background stamp is one that I will use for both male and female cards. It is available from 28th January from the Seasonal catalogue.

The card stock used are Very Vanilla (#106550), Rose Red (#108613) and Island Indigo (#124390) with Venetian Romance DSP (#130144). The Hardwood stamp (#133035) was stamped using Island Indigo ink (#126986). Rose Red ink (#126954) was used for the butterflies and sentiment. The stamp sets are Papillon Potpourri (#123759) and Itty Bitty Banners (#126257). The punches used are the Elegant Butterfly (#127526), Bitty Butterfly (#129406) and Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border (#119275). The Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267) cut the Happy Birthday. Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the butterflies and sentiment. I added Pearl basic jewels (#119247) to the butterflies.

If you would like me to send you a seasonal catalogue (anywhere in Australia) just contact me. There are lots of new exciting products available, like this hardwood background stamp used on this card.

Embossing

Hello,

I like texture and dimension on my cards, so many cards include embossing folders and or heat embossing. Both are used on this card.

The base card is Very Vanilla (#106550). The other coloured cards are Real Red (#106578), Bermuda Bay (#131286), Crushed Curry (#131288) and Cajun Craze (#121683). The flowers are from Everything Eleanor stamp set (#124164), with Best Wishes from Petite Pairs (#122497). All these images were heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Black embossing powder (#109133). The circles are cut using the Circles Collection Framelits. Each of these circles were embossed with different folders - Chevron (#127749, Stripes (#123128), Honeycomb (#129378) and Argyle (#127750. The flowers were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The background stamp is En Francais (#127790) and stamped with Crumb cake ink (#126975).

Have a great day.

Sympathy card

Hello,

Unfortunately I have needed a few Sympathy Cards recently. Simplicity is what I like.

I used Shimmery White card (#121717) and Brushed Silver (#124918). The stamp set is Secret Garden (#129144) and I heat embossed these images with Versamark (#102283) and Silver Embossing Powder (#109131). The coordinating Secret Garden Framelits (#129372) cut each of the flowers and the leaves. The larger flower was attached using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment is from a retired set.

I have a busy afternoon with lots of cards to make, so that's all for today.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

They work so well together. These are also available as a bundle (#134822) with a saving of 15%.

Hearts a Flutter Valentine card with Fancy Foil Designer vellum

Hello once again,

I'm sorry I have been a bit slow with my cards this year, but have been away with various family commitments since Christmas. Now I'm back I hope to have a new card each day.

With Valentine's Day not far away, I have been making some Valentine cards.

I love the new Fancy Foil Designer Vellum which I have used on this card. It's available from the 28th January from the new Seasonal Catalogue. It is available in both Gold and Silver and each pack has 9 sheets, 3 each of 3 single sided designs. I have used the Gold (#133363) today.

To make this card I stamped using Real Red ink (#126949) and the Heart from Hearts a Flutter stamp set (#129252), onto the Whisper White card (#106549). I then temporarily placed the Vellum onto the card, then cut the heart using the Hearts a Flutter Framelits (#130159) through the vellum and card. I then attached the heart to the inside of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Make sure that the heart is positioned exactly so that the card can be opened easily.

To attach the Vellum I usually use brads as I haven't found any adhesive that doesn't show through the vellum. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear from you.
I used Candy Dot Brad Bases (#132293) and Brights Candy Dots (#130931).

I added hearts, also from Hearts a Flutter set to hide the back of the brads on the inside of the card.

I then cut the "love" from the Expressions Thinlits Dies (#132171). These are still available from the Holiday Catalogue till 1st February ( so order now if you would like this set). The card stock is Real Red (#106578).

Thanks for your support, and I look forward to hearing from you in the future.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Love card

Hi again,

I was cleaning up my craft room today and came across this heart, card and DSP, all unused from previous projects, and realized they would all go together for an easy card. All I had to do was cut out Love and put it all together.

This was very convenient as I didn't have a lot of time.
The card stock is Real Red (#106578), with Whisper White (#106549) and Brights DSP stack (#130134). I used the Adorning accents Egdelits (#125595) and coordinating Adorning Accents embossing folder (#125601). The heart is from the Hearts a Flutter stamp set (#129252) and cut with the Hearts a Flutter Framelits (#130159). The ink is Real Red (#126949). The heart was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Love is cut using the Expressions Thinlits Dies (#132171) and I used 2 way glue pen (#100425) to adhere it to the card. I added Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to the heart.

Thought for the day-

😊Happy Stamping😊

Hello,

Cherry Cobbler and Silver look great together on this card.

The card stock used is Whisper White (#106549), Cherry Cobbler (#121681) and Brushed Silver (#124918). The Pretty Print embossing folder was used on the silver card. The flowers from Flower Shop stamp set (#130942) are heat embossed with Versamark (#102283), Silver embossing powder (#109131) and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder (#122949). Happy Anniversary is from the Express Yourself hostess set (#130339) and using one of the Apothecary Accents Framelits (#127003) for the label. Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966) was used. I also used the 1/8 Silver ribbon and the Rhinestone Basic Jewels. The punches used are the Scallop Trim Border (#118402) and the Pansy Punch (#130698). The sentiment and Cherry Cobbler flower are attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) , while the bow was attached using Glue Dots (#103683).

Sympathy card

Hi ladies,

Today's card is a sympathy card (which I needed after a recent death in the family).

I love the Shimmery White card (#121717) for special cards so that's what I have used for this Sympathy card. I also used Brushed Silver card (#124918). The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs (#122497) stamp set and I have used the Silver embossing powder (#109131) with Versamark (#102283). The butterflies are from the Papillion Potpourri stamp set (#123759), stamped with the Silver Metallic Encore ink (#132142) and punched using the Elegant Butterfly punch (#127526). I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) to the body of the butterflies. The flourish is from the Everything Eleanor stamp set (#124164) and also stamped with the silver ink. The butterflies were attached using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

I am looking forward to showing you a variety of cards again this year using Stampin' Up! Products. If you would like any info about Stampin' Up! just contact me. I am here to help.

Get well soon card

Hi once again,

Happy New Year to you all. I hope 2014 is good to you.

I needed a Get Well card for my daughter in law's mum, so this is the card I made for her.

I have made a few of these cards using the Thinlits Label Card (#133479) with the extension. They are very easy. To see full details how to make this card check out the Thinlits label card on December 19, 2013.
The Cardstock used is Whisper White (#106549) and Bermuda Bay (#131286) with the DSP from the Brights DSP Stacks (#130134). The ink for the sentiment is Bermuda Bay (#131171). The flowers from Everything Eleanor stamp set (#124164) are stamped with Versamark (#102193) and White Embossing powder (#109132). Perfect Polka Dots (#117335) is the Embossing folder used. I also used the Ovals Collection Framelits (#129381) and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch (#119275). The sentiment is from an old stamp set but was just what I needed for this card.

Thought for the day-

Once again, Happy New Year.
Till next time,

😊Happy Stamping😊
