Stylish Christmas

Hi everyone,

I love these “distinctive” stamps. “These stamps add monochromatic dimension and artistic flair to your stamping. These stamps create different opacities in a single stamped image for realistic depth & intesity.”

The flower (and leaves which I didn’t use on this card) are distinctive images and are from the Stylish Christmas stamp set (#c146773, #146770). The swirls were stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111). I stamped the swirls twice onto Whisper White card (#106549). Then I stamped the flowers twice and fussy cut them. These were stamped with Real Red Ink (#147084) and I attached these flowers (offsetting them) with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). To finish the card I added the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#146924) to the flower centre and the card. The base card is Real Red (#106578). A great quick and easy card, especially when you have lots of Christmas cards to make.

Have a great day being creative.

Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hi friends,

This beautiful Designer Series Paper is from the Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper (#146277).

I attached this DSP to the Whisper White card (#106549). The “stitching” on the Silver Foil Sheet (#132178) was done with a die from the Stitched Labels Framelits (#146828). The ribbon is Black 3/8” Glittered Organdy (#147897) and this is wrapped around the card. The Basic Black card (#121688) and the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper (#147820) were both cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372). The owl from the Still Night stamp set (#c147670, #w147673) was stamped with Soft Suede ink (#147115), cut with the Night Owl Thinlits (#147920), then I spritzed it with the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (#147044). This was mixed with rubbing alcohol in a Stampin’ Spritzer (#126185). The owl was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment is also from the Still Night stamp set and cut with the Night Owl thinlits.

Have a great day.

Stitched All Around

Hi everyone,

The Stitched Labels Framelits Dies (#146828) make it so easy to have stitching on your projects, just by running the dies through the Big Shot. Each of the framelits have “stitching” on them and they co-ordinate with the Stitched All Round stamp set (#c146632, #w146629).

I used the border die with the crosses on it on the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper (146913) as well as a strip of the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622)
I attached the Designer Series Paper onto the Very Vanilla card (#106550). The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with the beautiful die from the Stitched Labels Framelits. I wrapped a piece of the Petal Pink ribbon from the Metallic Ribbon Combo pack (#146329) around the card on the gold foil. The bow was cut from All The Presents Thinlits (#147917), also from gold foil sheet. The sentiment and bow were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Have a great weekend.

Be creative!!

Dashing Deer Bundle

Hello,

The Dashing Deer Bundle (#c149935, #w149934) is one of my favourites in the Holiday Catalogue. Yes, I know, I have a lot of favourites but that’s not hard when there are so many gorgeous products.

The deer from the Dashing Deer stamp set (#c147728, #w147731) has been stamped with VersaMark (#102283) on Whisper White card (#106549) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), set with the Heat Tool (#129056) then cut with the die from the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies (#147915). I attached a piece of the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper (#147816) to the Whisper White base card. The Merry Merlot (#147005) oval was cut with a Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706), then embossed with the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#147923). Wow! Doesn’t the embossing look great. The corner swirls and flower were cut with dies from the Detailed Deer Thinlits. I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) on the back of the Merry Merlot card before cutting these. Seasons Greetings is from the Merry Christmas To All stamp set (#147702) and cut with the Classic Label punch (#141491). This sentiment has more words under “Seasons Greetings” but I didn’t want these included. So the easiest way to stamp part of an image is to add a piece of tape over the area you don’t want stamped. Ink your image and remove the tape before stamping. This was stamped with Merry Merlot ink (#147112). The sentiment and deer were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Have a creative day.

Botanical Bliss

Hello,

It’s very easy to make a beautiful tag with the Botanical Bliss Bundle (#c148333, #w148332). After making this tag I decided to add it to a card.

The cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550), Shaded Spruce (#147006) and Merry Merlot (#147005). I stamped the Merry Merlot card with the Handwritten background stamp (#c146524, #w146521). This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283), then I added Stampin’ Emboss Powder which is a mix of 50/50 Copper (#141636) and Silver (#109131) Stampin’ Emboss Powders to get a “Champagne” colour. This needs to be heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056) as usual. The tag was made with the Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies (#146824). The stamped images are from the Botanical Bliss stamp set (#c146612, #w146609) and stamped with Merry Merlot ink (#147112) and Shaded Spruce ink (#147088). I fussy cut the flower before attaching this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Before cutting the leaves from the Shaded Spruce card, I adhered the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) for ease of attaching these to the card.

Here is a tag I also made with the same bundle.

I used Mint Macaron card (#138344), Mint Macaron ink (#147106), Merry Merlot and Tranquil Tide from the Joyous Noel 6” x 6” Glimmer Paper (#147817) and Whisper White card (#106549). I punched the corners with the Detailed Trio punch (#146320). Happy Birthday is from the Botanical Bliss stamp set (c146612, #w146609). The framelit I wanted to use for the sentiment was too long so this is how I cut it to fit.

Place the image to one end of the framelit, run through big shot, then move the framelit and cut the other end as shown.

That’s all for today. Have a great day.

Dashing Deer

Welcome friends,

This is one of the cards the ladies had a chance to make in what I call my “Full day workshop”. I generally have these a couple of times a year when a new catalogue comes out. We made all Christmas cards using the products from the Holiday catalogue (except for the DSP used on this card) which is from the Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper (#146277).

Whisper White card (#106549) has been used for the base card, card front, deer and Merry. The cardfront was embossed with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#147906). The deer was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083), then cut with the co-ordinating die from Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies (#147915). The DSP was cut with the Stitched Shapes framelits (#145372). Merry & Christmas are both from the Merry Christmas To All stamp set (#147702) and stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink. I used a die from the Merry Christmas Thinlits (#147912) to cut “merry” and this and the deer were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Enjoy your day.

Peaceful Poinsettia Bundle

Hi & Welcome,

The Detailed Poinsettia Thinits Dies (#147925) have been used to cut the flower and leaves on this Christmas card. This bundle can be found in the Holiday catalogue along with many other beautiful Christmas products.

Christmas Wishes from the Peaceful Poinsettia stamp set (#c147781, #w147784) was stamped with Merry Merlot ink (#147112). Then I lightly sprayed the Whisper White card (#106549) with Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint (#146886), then I cut the leaves with the framelits. The white card was then attached to the Tranquil Tide base card (#144252). I backed the Merry Merlot Glimmer Paper from the Joyous Noel 6”x6” pack (#147817) with the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) before cutting the Poinsettia. Just remove the backing and attach to the card. So simple!!

That’s all for today. Have a great week.

Springtime Impressions Thinlits

Welcome,

I have a stash of bits and pieces that I have cut but then decided it wouldn’t work for the card or whatever I am making. So today I have decided to make a card using a couple of these pieces. Great when you are in a hurry ( which I usually am).

The Springtime Impressions Thinlits (#146326) were used to cut the flowers from Whisper White card (#106549). I embossed the base card with the Tufted 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#146335) and attached the flowers to this. The flowers were backed with the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet making it very easy to attach this to the card. I then added some sparkle to the card by spritzing some Champagne Mist Shimmer paint (#147044). Wow, does this give a beautiful finish to the card. Not sure how well it shows up on the photo. Thank You is cut with the Thank You Thinlits (#146832) using Blackberry Bliss card (#133682). This was glued using the Fine Tip Glue Pen (#138309). I added some Pearl Basic Jewels (#144219) to the card to finish this simple but elegant card.

Have a great weekend. Hopefully, you will have some time to be creative.

Daisy Delight

Hello Ladies & Guys,

This Daisy is stamped with the Daisy Delight stamp set (#p143669) and punched with the Daisy Punch (#143713).

I stamped the daisy twice, using Grapefruit Grove ink (#147142) and after punching them I offset them when I put them together using a Stampin’ Dimensional (#104430). The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the Designer Series Paper is from Nature’s Poem (#146338) - for the Grapefruit Grove colour and Animal Expedition (#146902) for the Lemon Lime Twist. I glued a Pearlised Doilie (#146936) to the card, then attached the Daisy and leaves. These leaves are from the Rooted In Nature stamp set (#c146482, #146479), stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink (#147145) and cut with Nature’s Roots Framelits (#146341). Let’s Celebrate is from the Detailed With Love stamp set (#c146606, #w146603) and stamped with Grapefruit Grove ink, and punched with the Pretty Label punch (#143715). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to add this to the card. I added some Glitter Enamel Dots (#146934) to the daisy and card. I also added some shimmer to the sentiment and the daisy, before attaching them to the card. I sprayed them with Champagne Shimmer Paint (#147044). I added some rubbing alcohol to a Stampin’ Spritzer (#126185), then added a few drops of the Champagne Shimmer Paint, then just shake and spray. I used the Heat Tool (#129056) to speed up the drying.

Have a great day.

Country Livin’

Hi,

I embossed the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (#144177) with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#147906). Then I sanded it to highlight the texture.

I wrapped a piece of the Merry Merlot & Copper 5/8” Reversible ribbon around the DSP before attaching it to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). This ribbon has a Copper sheen on one side and Copper & Merry Merlot sheen on the reverse. Celebrate is cut using the Celebrate You Thinlits (#146840). I cut this from Merry Merlot card (#147005) and Very Vanilla card and glued these together using the Fine-tip Glue Pen (#138309), just offsetting the words to give a shadow effect. The boots are from the Country Living stamp set (#c141925, #w141922) and stamped with Merry Merlot ink (#147005). The Squares are cut with the Stitched Shapes framelits (#145372) and the Layering Squares Framelits (#141708).

That’s all today.

Thank You Thinlits

Hello,

Here’s a very quick and easy (and pretty) card using Designer Series Paper and some thinlits. Wow, No stamping!

I used Whisper White (#106549) for the base card. The Designer Series Paper is the beautiful Petal Promenade (#146913). Many of the Designer papers have a detailed design on one side and a more subtle design on the other side, just like this one. Thank You is cut with the Thank You Thinlits (#146832) from the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). The “ribbon” and bow are cut with a die from All The Presents Thinlits Dies (#147917). I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) on the back of the “ribbon” and Thank You to make it easy to attach these to the card. A Stampin’ Dimensional (#104430) was used to attach the bow.

Well that was sure quick and easy.

Eastern Medallions Thinlits

Hello everyone,

Here’s a pretty card using the Eastern Medallions Thinlits (#143725) with a background stamped with my latest favourite technique using a template and the Stamparatus (#148187).

The template is made using a piece of grid paper cut 18cmx18cm. Then I marked 2 - 10x10cm squares in the centre as shown below.

To stamp the leaves, I placed a 10 x 10cm piece of Whisper White card on the square. The leaves are from the Botanical Bliss stamp set (#c146612, #w146609).

I stamped the leaves with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). Once this was stamped I moved the card to the next “point”.

Continue stamping and moving the card till the 8 images are stamped.

The basecard is Soft Sea Foam (#147012) and I embossed this with the Tufted Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#146335). The stamped card was attached to the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). I used the Eastern Medallions thinlits to cut the Soft Sea Foam card and Gold Foil “flower”. The embellishment is a retired one. I also added some Gold Metallic Sequins (#144214) to the card. The sentiment is from Wishing You Well stamp set (#c147864, #w147867), stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129). This was cut with the Classic Label Punch (#141491) and attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

That’s all for today.

Country Home

Hi,

I grew up on a dairy farm and I love the old cream cans, so I just adore the old can in the Country Home stamp set (#p147678).

The base card is Very Vanilla card (#106550) and I stamped the can, flowers and sentiment on Very Vanilla as well. The can and flowers were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#141636) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The Designer Series Paper is from the Festive Farmhouse DSP (#147820) and I glued a piece of the Chicken Wire Elements (#147807) to the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I embossed a piece of the Copper Foil Sheet (#142020) with the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#148026). On top of this I attached the can with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and taped the flowers. Especially for You is from Botanical Bliss stamp set (#c146612, #w146609) and stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083). The die to cut this is from the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies (#147912). This was also attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy your weekend doing something creative,

Confirmation card

Hello friends,

I made this card for my Grand Daughter for her Confirmation. This card is 21cm x 15 cm - which is A4 cardstock folded in half.

I used the Shimmery White card (#121717) for the base card and card front. I edged the card front with the Champagne Foil Sheet (#144748), and also used this for the detailed cross. I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) on the back of the Champagne Foil before cutting the detailed cross.
Highland Heather card (#147010) was used for the solid cross. The crosses are cut with dies from the Cross Of Hope Framelits (#145654). The sentiment is from the Inspired Events stamp set (#p143693), and stamped with Highland Heather ink (#147103). The leaves are from the Hold On To Hope stamp set (#c145780, #w145776) and stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). I stamped the dove with VersaMark (#102283) and added Stampin’ Emboss Powder which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I mixed Copper (#141636) and Silver (#109131) Stampin’ Emboss Powders - approximate equal quantities - and this gives you a “champagne” coloured emboss powder which matches nicely with the Champagne Foil Sheet. The dove image can be found in the Serene Garden stamp set (#146501) and was cut with a die from the Garden Scene Framelits (#146355). The dove and cross were  attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The card was finished by adding some Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220).

Have a great weekend.

Not only will The Bring On The Presents Bundle (#p149926) be great for Christmas, but also suitable for Birthdays or any other celebrations.

The bows from the Bring On The Presents stamp set (#p147767) were stamped with Soft Suede ink on Calypso Coral card (#124392) and Grapefruit Grove card (#146995). The bows and the “ribbon” are all cut with the All The Presents Thinlits Dies (#147917). The Designer Series Paper is Grapefruit Grove from the 2018-2020 In Colour 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper (#146963). “Happy” is cut with a die from the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies (#147912). I cut this from Soft Suede card (#119982) as well as Calypso Coral card, and used the Soft Suede card for a shadow effect. This was glued with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). Birthday is from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set (#p143662) and stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#147101).

Enjoy your day.

Very Vintage Easel card

Hi Friends,

I have combined the Very Vintage stamp set (#c146801, #w146798) and the Tin Tile Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#147906) for this beautiful Easel card.

I embossed the Very Vanilla (#106550) cardfront and a small piece across the bottom of the card with the Tin Tile Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I stamped the flowers from the Very Vintage stamp set with Merry Merlot ink (#147112). This was cut with the Stitched Seasons Framelits as was the Merry Merlot card (#147005). I attached this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Happy Birthday is also from the Very Vintage stamp set and cut with a die from the Petals & More Thinlits (#145655). This was attached to the card with Dimensionals, which allows the card to sit nicely. The bow is made from the the Very Vanilla/Copper Ribbon from the Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack (#146893), and I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach the bow to the card.

Have a great day.

Still Night Bundle

Hello ladies & guys,

I have just received the Still Night Bundle (#c149978, #w149977) and couldn’t resist making a card with this immediately.

The owl from the Still Night stamp set (#c147670, #w147673) was stamped with Early Espresso ink (#147114) then cut with the co-ordinating die from the Night Owls Thinlits Dies (#147920) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The branch & leaves are also cut from the same die set. The branch was cut from Copper Foil Sheet (#142020) and the leaves from Mossy Meadow card (#133683). These were glued with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309) to the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper (#146284). I also used the Copper Foil to mount the DSP to. The Balmy Blue base card (#147105) was embossed with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#139672). The sentiment is from the Still Night stamp set using Night Of Navy ink (#147110). This, and the Night Of Navy label were cut with dies from the Night Owl Thinlits. I used Copper Foil for the little banners under the sentiment. I added some Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to some of the feathers on the owl.

Hope you have a creative day, doing what you love.

Detailed Baubles Thinlits Dies

Welcome,

A quick and easy Christmas card using new products from the holiday catalogue. There is a huge range of gorgeous products in this catalogue, most of them are for Christmas.

I attached the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper (#147816) to the Merry Merlot base card (#147005). The bauble was cut with a die from the Detailed Baubles Thinlits Dies (#147924) with the Merry Merlot 6” x 6” Glimmer Paper (#147817). The Whisper White card (#106549) was embossed with the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#148026), then attached to the Tranquil Tide card (#144252). I glued the bauble with the Fine Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The sentiment from the Beautiful Baubles stamp set (#p147765) was stamped with Merry Merlot ink (#147112) and I used the die from Petals & More Thinlits (#145655) to cut it, and attached this with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

That’s all for today.

Rooted In Nature

Hello & Welcome my friends,

On the 4th September I posted a card using a template with the Stamparatus (#148187), and have used the same technique here. Not sure what the technique is called but it is so easy to do. I have used the same set up as on that card, so check that out. You can get so many different effects by using different images and even just placing them in a different position on the card to start with.

All the stamped images are from the Rooted In Nature stamp set (#c146482, #w146479). The green leaves have been stamped with Garden Green ink (#147089) and the leaves which I used to make the flower were stamped with Poppy Parade ink (#147050). The first flower I stamped, I placed the leaf image further from the centre and the next one I moved closer to the centre. This allowed me, once I cut out the flowers to place one on top of the other but still have plenty of the petals showing underneath. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the top and bottom flowers together. I used Poppy Parade card (#121694) and DSP from the 2018-2020 In-Colour 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper. Whisper White (#106549) was used for the base card. The Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#146924) were used in the centre of the flower.

I was playing with these images a few days ago, just to see how they would look by placing the stamps in various parts of the card to start. I didn’t realise that I would be able to use each image on one card. Sometimes things just work without really trying, and this was one of those times and I just love the results.

I hope you are having a creative weekend.

Beautiful Baubles Bundle

Welcome,

This is the first Christmas card I have made this year, and I have used the gorgeous Beautiful Baubles Bundle (#p149920) from the Holiday catalogue.

I have used Very Vanilla card (#106550) and the Copper from the Joyous Noel 6” x 6” Glimmer Paper (#147817). I mixed the Bright Copper Shimmer paint (#147045) with rubbing alcohol, in a Stampin’ Spritzer (#126185), then sprayed onto the cardfront. This was then embossed with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#147906) and attached to the base card. I stamped the baubles from the Beautiful Baubles stamp set (#p147765) with VersaMark (#102283) and Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#141636), which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I cut this with a die from the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705). The Copper Glimmer Paper was cut with dies from the Detailed Baubles Thinlits Dies (#147924). These were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment is also from the Beautiful Baubles stamp set and embossed with Copper Emboss Powder. This was cut with a die from the Petals & More Thinlits (#145655).

Have a great weekend.
