On Film Framelits Dies

Hello again,

I am still away and haven't had much time to make any cards, but as it has been raining non stop since about 1 am this morning, there's no sightseeing today so a great chance to make some cards.

Todays card is a very easy one. I used Calypso Coral (#124392), Early Espresso (#121686), Crisp Cantaloupe (#131303) and Whisper White (#106549) Cardstock. Stamp sets used are Papillon Potpourri (#123759) and Teeny Tiny Sentiments (#120024). The Stripes folder (#123128) was used to emboss the Crisp Cantaloupe card. The On Film Framelits Dies (#132969) are used for the film strip and arrow. I added 2 Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to the butterfly. I used Early Espresso ink (#126974) for the butterfly and sentiment. I also sponged some Crisp Cantaloupe (#131175) on the butterfly. The butterfly and sentiment were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

That's all for today-
So till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.

Hello again,

As I am away from home at the moment, I haven't had a chance to make as many cards as usual. Today's card uses the lovely Watercolour Wonder DSP (#132994) from the Occasions catalogue. I love the soft colours in this series.

The base card is Island Indigo (#124390), with Whisper White (#106549) and Crushed Curry (#131288) the other colours used. The inks are Island Indigo (#126986) and Crushed Curry (#131173). The stamp sets are Flower Shop (#130942), Petite Petals (#133155) and Bring on the Cake (#121958). The punches are Petite Petals (#133322), Pansy (#130698) and Scallop trim Border (#118402). The Framelit used to cut the sentiment is from Chalk Talk (#129983). I added a Pearl Basic Jewel (#119247) to the sentiment and flower centres.

Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Hexagon Hive Thinlits die

Hello again,

Another product from the Occasions catalogue is the Hexagon Hive Thinlits die (#132965).

I have started with Whisper White base card (#106549) and embossed with the Woodgrain folder (#127821). Then I cut the Hexagon Hive from Calypso Coral card (#126983) and glued it to the base card using the 2-way Glue Pen (#100425). The butterflies stamped with Bermuda bay ink (#131286) are from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set (#123759), and punched with the Elegant Butterfly punch (#127526). Pearl Basic jewels (#119247) are added to the body. The butterflies and sentiment are attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Best wishes is from the Petite Pairs stamp set (#122497), with the border from the Six Sided Sampler set (#130956) and punched with the coordinating Hexagon Punch (#130919).

Sweet Baby

Hi again,

I am having so much fun making cards with the new products from the Occasions catalogue, including the Baby, We've Grown stamp set (#133089).

I used Island Indigo (#126986) and Very Vanilla (#106549) cardstock. I embossed the background with the Alphabet Press folder (#130916). The images and sentiment were heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Gold embossing powder (#109129). The oval was cut with the Ovals Collection Framelits (#129381). The arrows are from the Chevron Border punch (#132154), (and were actually the pieces left from another project after using this punch). That's a very easy card!!!

Thought for the day-

"Always appreciate what you have. There is always someone out there who wishes they had what you have."

Secret Garden Birthday

Good morning.

The Secret Garden stamp set (#129144) coordinates with the Secret garden Framelits (#129372), so saves a lot of hand cutting, although I did hand cut the centre of the flowers.

The cardstock is Basic Black (#121688), Real Red (#106578) and Brushed Gold (#124917). The Fancy Fan embossing folder (#127751) was used on the gold card. I actually used the "de- embossed" side. Some embossing folders can be used either way to give a different look. The flowers were heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Gold embossing powder (#109129), and Black embossing powder (#109133) for the centres and the sentiment. Happy Birthday is from the Label Love stamp set (#130622) and punched with the matching Artisan Label punch (#130920). I used 2 rows of the Real Red 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain ribbon (#126875). Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to the flowers. Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the sentiment and flowers.

Thought for the day-

Hope you have a great day,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape

Hi everyone,

Watercolour Wonder Designer Washi Tape (#133000) have been used on the label and bottom of this card.

I put 3 pieces of the striped Washi tape on Whisper White card, then punched it with the Decorative label punch (#120907). Before adding the tape to the bottom of the card I embossed the top part with the Decorative Dots folder (#133520) from Sale-a-brations. The flowers from Everything Eleanor stamp set (#124164) are heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and White embossing powder (#109132) on Elegant Eggplant card (#108614). I added some Dazzling Details (#124177) to the stamens of the flowers.
Happy Birthday is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments (#120024) and punched with the Word Window (#119857. The ink is Elegant Eggplant (#126969). The Elegant Eggplant card under the sentiment had the corners rounded using the Envelope Punch Board (#133774).

Thought for the day-

Have a great day.

Peaceful Petals with Hardwood Background

Hello,

One of the flowers and leaves from Peaceful Petals stamp set (#133107) with the Hardwood background stamp (#133035) were used for this card.

I heat embossed the flowers with Versamark (#102283) and White Embossing powder (#109132), on Raspberry Ripple card (#127545). The leaves were stamped with Pistachio Pudding ink (#131177) on Whisper White card stock (#106549). These images were cut by hand. The hardwood background stamp was stamped with Pink Pirouette ink (#126956). The background for the sentiment is from Everything Eleanor (#124164) then cut with one of the Apothecary Accents Framelits (#127003). This doesn't coordinate with the stamp exactly but it works well together. Thank You is part of the Peaceful Petals set. The ribbon is Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin (#126848). The base card is Pink Pirouette (#116203).

Thought for the day-

I'll be back tomorrow with another card,
so till then,
😊Happy Stamping😊

Chevron punch

Welcome ladies,

We had a fun morning at my card class today making this beautiful card.

The lattice is made using the Chevron Border Punch (#132154). I cut 2 pieces of Daffodil Delight card (#121680) at 1& 1/4" x 5 & 3/4". Place the strip of card in the centre of the punch as shown, and punch.

Next, looking at the back of the punch, line up the card so that you are only cutting 2 chevrons - see below -

Then go to the other end and repeat.

Do this on the 2 pieces of card.
Then place one piece on top of the other with the chevrons going in opposite directions.

Then tuck in the points as shown. You can slide the 2 pieces of card to get the desired effect. Once you have the effect you want, tape the ends so they can't move.

I then attached this to the Basic Black card (#121688) and trimmed the Daffodil Delight to the same length as the black.

The base card is Pacific Point (#116202) which has been embossed with the Honeycomb folder (#129378). The flowers are from the Petite Petals stamp set (#133155) and punched with the Petite Petals punch (#133322). These are also available in a bundle (#134822) with a 15% saving. The leaves are punched with the Bird Builder punch (#117191) using Gumball Green card (#127543). The flowers and sentiments are stamped onto Whisper White card (#106549). The inks used are Melon Mambo (#126948), Pacific Point (#126951), Tangerine Tango (#126946), Tempting Turquoise (#126952), Real Red (#126949) and Gumball Green (#126861). Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) add some bling to the centre of the flowers.
The sentiment is from Petite Pairs stamp set (#122497) and cut with a little tag from the Hearts a Flutter Framelits (#130159). I cut some black card also with the Framelits to give the "shadow" effect on the end of the tag.

To finish this project we made and decorated an envelope using the Envelope Board punch (#133774). This is such a great tool, as there are 66 different size envelopes that you can make with it. There are also other projects that can be made with it as well. I will do some of those when I get a chance.

That's all for today,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.
