Moon Lake

Hi everyone,

Today I wanted to make a very easy card, then show how easy it is to just add a couple of colours and not much more effort to make it just that much nicer.

 

 

The base card is Marina Mist (#121682). Whisper White (#106549) and Basic Black (#121688) have been used on both cards. The second card I have added Real Red card (#1065780 and Flashback DSP (133699). As you can see it doesn't take much to make a difference.

The stamp sets are  Moon Lake (#c138540, #w137149), Work of Art (#c134114, #w134111) and Big Day (from Sale-a-bration). The swish from Work of Art was stamped with Marina Mist ink (#126962) and the duck and sentiment were stamped with the Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708).

Scrapbook pages

Hello,

I don't seem to get enough time to do scrapbooking so thought it was time to make time do a couple of pages today.

The DSP for the base page is from the Park Lane DSP (#133694). The other cardstock is Blackberry Bliss (A4-133682, 12x12"-131195) and Very Vanilla (A4-106550, 12x12"-124301). The letters are cut using an electronic cutter using Very vanilla card. These were glued to circles punched with the 1-3/8" circle punch (#119860), then the Starburst Framelits (#132967). I used the On Film Framelits (#132969) for the small photo on the left page. I used the Candy Dots Brad Bases (132293) but instead of adding Candy Dots I used Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119247) which fitted nicely on the bases.

The Park Lane DSP, Starburst Framelits, On Film Framelits and Blackberry Bliss are all in the Retiring List. If you want any of these (if they are available) just contact me.

Butterfly Basics Bundle

Hello again,

Today I wanted to do the same design card as yesterday but for a female.




I used Coastal Cabana card (#131302), Bermuda Bay (#131286) and Very Vanilla (#106550). The stamp sets are Butterfly Basics (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154) and Sassy Salutations (#c126707, #w132070). I used Bermuda Bay ink (#131171) and Crumb Cake (#126975) was used for the honeycomb background on the Very Vanilla card. The butterfly was cut with the Butterflies Thinlits Dies (#137360). This can be purchased as a bundle with the Butterfly Basics stamp set, saving 15% (#c139323, #w139322). The Spiral Border (#119872) was the punch used on the Coastal Cabana card. The butterfly was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) and Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) were added to the butterfly.

The Open Sea

Hello,

The Open Sea stamp set (#c123032, #w128454) has been used for this masculine card.



The Very Vanilla background (#106550) was stamped using Crumb Cake ink (#126975) and Cajun Craze ink (#126965). The boat and anchors were stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Cajun Craze card (#121683) and Marina Mist card (#121682). Happy Birthday is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #137154). I used the Spiral Border punch (#119872) on the Marina Mist card. I sponged the edges of the Very Vanilla and Cajun Craze cards with Cajun Craze ink and the Marina Mist with the Memento ink.

Beautiful Bunch

Hi and welcome,

It's only a couple of weeks till Mother's Day, and I have been asked to make some cards so here is one card I have made.






The cardstock is Real Red (#106578) and Whisper White (#106549). The flowers from Beautiful Bunch (#c134282, #134279) are stamped on Real Red card using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The coordinating punch for this flower is Fun Flower (#133785). I scored and shaped the petals on the top flower. The leaves are stamped from the Stippled Blossoms stamp set (#c126747, #132076) using Wild Wasabi ink (#126959) and Crumb Cake (#126975). These are hand cut and taped to the card. The punches for the sentiment has been punched with the 1-3/8" Circle (#119860) and Label Bracket (#132153). A piece of Champagne Glimmer Paper (#127885) has been used for the flower centre.

Timeless Talk

Hello ladies,

Another stamp set in the retiring list is the Timeless Talk (#c126607, #w126605). It's sad to see some of the favourite products retiring but I am looking forward to a whole lot of new ones. Here is a very easy masculine card.




The cardstock is Daffodil Delight (#121680), Basic Black (#121688) and Very Vanilla (#106550). The inks are Daffodil Delight (#126944) and Tuxedo Black Memento (#132708. The background has been stamped with the Work of Art stamp set (#c134114, #w134111). Happy Birthday is from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (#c126707, #w132070). With the zig zag along the bottom of the card I used the stamping off method for a lighter image.

Postage Due

Hi everyone,

Today's card is made with many of my favourite retiring products.






The base card is Cherry Cobbler and cut at 22.5cm x 10.5cm and scored at 7.5cm. I embossed this with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing folder (#117335) on the front flap. The other card stock is Baked Brown Sugar (#131301 and Very Vanilla (#106550). The Baked Brown Sugar is cut at 14cm x 9.5cm and the Very Vanilla is 22.5cm x 8.5cm and scored at 13cm. I stamped on this Very Vanilla card with the Postage Due stamp with Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966). The "stamp " and sentiment are both stamped with Baked Brown Sugar ink (#131174). Happy Birthday is from the Sketched Birthday stamp set (#c130426, #w130423) and cut with the Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267). The "stamp" is punched with the Postage Stamp punch (#122344). The card that the stamp is attached to has been attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Only put the Dimensionals on the left side to allow you to tuck the flap under it. I also placed a "stamp" inside the card.

Well the wait is over for what is available on the retiring list. The retiring list is all the products which will no longer be available in the new catalogue (which comes out on 2nd June). Glimmer Paper Butterflies

Hello again,

I often have bits and pieces left over from projects so I put them into a box for use at another time. This butterfly, sentiment and the embossed Whisper White card were all in this box so it made this card even quicker to make.




The cardstock is Pacific Point (#116202), Real Red (#106578) and Whisper White (#106549). Red Glimmer Paper (#121790) was used for the butterfly which was cut with one of the Butterflies Thinlits Dies (#137360). " For You" is from the Tag Talk set (#c134252, #w134249), stamped with Real Red ink (#126949) and punched with the Label Bracket (#132153). As with most cards I make, I have used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment and butterfly.

Hexagon Hive Thinlits

Hello,

The Hexagon Hive Thinlits is one of the products available this week in the Weekly Deals for a great price of $32.21. I have used it for today's card. Check out the weekly deals here.



I stamped the Very Vanilla base card with Crumb Cake ink (#126975) and the Hardwood background stamp (#c133035, #w133032). The Hexagon Hive Thinlit cut the Baked Brown Sugar cardstock (#231301). I cut the bottom off the Hexagon Hive as I didn't want it to cover the whole card. This was then glued to the card using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue. This has a fine tip so easy to use on the narrow parts. Happy Birthday was stamped with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink (#132708) and this is from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (#c126707, #w132070). The flower from Beautiful Bunch (#c134282, #w134279) was stamped with the Memento ink as well, on Real Red card (#106578). The coordinating punch for this flower is the Fun Flower (#133785). I stamped the leaves from the Stippled Blossoms stamp set (#c126747, #w132076). These were stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#126975) and Garden Green (#126973). I love these stamp sets which are 2 step stamping. In fact, the first time I saw 2 step stamping was at a Stampin' Up! demonstration and I wanted to know more and it wasn't long before becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

Four Frames

Hi,

Today I used the Four Frames stamp set (#c123442) with the coordinating Decorative Label punch (#120907). I heat embossed this with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129).



Happy Birthday from the Petite Pairs (#c122497, #w128706) is stamped with Pear Pizzaz ink (#131180).
The base card and the "ribbon" is Brushed Gold card (#124917). The "ribbon" is punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch (#119275). On a piece of Whisper White card (#106549) I stamped the leaves from the Stippled Blossom stamp set (#c126747, #w132076) using Pear Pizzaz ink (#131180) for the base of the leaves, then gold embossed the second image. The DSP is from the Subtles Colour Collection (#130135). The butterflies are from the Papillion Potpourri (#c123759, #w132058) and punched with the Bitty Butterfly punch (#129406). These were also gold embossed. Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the butterflies and the sentiment to the card.

Hello Life Project Kit

Hello,




I have had fun putting this Hello Life Project Kit together (#137949). All I have to do now is print some photos and add them to the frames. Everything is included that you need and instructions are included so very easy to put together. This is available from the Occasions Catalogue so can be ordered till 2nd June. The frame size is approximately 430 x 350 mm.

I'm looking forward to changing this frame from time to time as I get updated photos of the family and with a variety of themes.

Delicate Designs

Hello,

Using Whisper White card (#106549), I cut the scallop with the Large Scallop Edgelit (#127019). Then I embossed with one of the Delicate Designs folder (#127023). I taped a piece of Pink Pirouette card (#116203) under the scallop.




On another piece of Whisper White I stamped using Pink Pirouette ink (#126956) with one of the images from the Stippled Blossoms stamp set (#c126747, #w132076) for a subtle background. This is the same image that was stamped in black on the 2 flowers. This card was added to a piece of Melon Mambo card (#119980). The flowers are stamped with Melon Mambo ink (#126948) and Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and hand cut. The sentiment is from the Label Love stamp set (#c130622, #w130619) and punched with the Artisan Label (#130920). This sentiment and one of the flowers was attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Butterfly Basics and Work of Art

The Work of Art stamp set (#c134114, #w134111) has a great range of images which work well for backgrounds. I used one of the images on this card.



I stamped this with Pink Pirouette ink (#126956), Pear Pizzaz (#131180) and So Saffron (#126957). The flower from Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154) was stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#126983). Happy Birthday is from the Label Love stamp set (#c130622, #w130619) and punched with the Coordinating Artisan Label punch (#130920). I attached this to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The cardstock is Calypso Coral (#124392), Pear Pizzaz (#131290) and Whisper White (#106549). I added 2 pieces of the Sweet Dreams Designer Washi Tape (#137787) to the bottom of the card.

Beautiful Bunch

Welcome,

The Beautiful Bunch stamp set (#c134282,#134279) coordinates with the Fun Flower punch (#133785) and both have been used for today's card.



The flower was stamped with Melon Mambo ink (#126948). I stamped and punched 2 flowers and put these together with Stampin' Dimensionals. I stamped the background with Pink Pirouette ink (#126956) using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (#c130517, #w130514), then stamped the leaves from Kinda Eclectic (#c135350, #w135347) with Wild Wasabi ink (#126959). The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Melon Mambo (#119980). The tape down the side is Sweet Dreams Designer Washi Tape (#137787). Happy Birthday is from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (#c126707, #w132070) and stamped with Melon Mambo ink. I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) to the flower centre.

Postage Due

Hi,

A tool I find very helpful when making cards or scrapbooking, is the Colour Coach (#130118). This gives colour combinations for each of the Stampin' Up! colours. Today I wanted to used Baked Brown Sugar so checked the colour coach to see what colours were suggested. One of the colour combinations was Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler, so this is what I decided to use.


The cardstock used is Naturals Ivory (#108630), Baked Brown Sugar (#131301), Cherry Cobbler (#121681) and Garden Green (#108605). The stamp sets are Postage Due (#c126397, #w132064), Work Of Art (#c134114, #w134111) for the Zig zags on the Cherry Cobbler Card, and Sketched Birthday (#c130426, #w130423) for the sentiment. The inks are Baked Brown Sugar (#131174), Garden Green (#126973) and Cherry Cobbler (#126966). The "stamp" was punched with the Postage Stamp punch (#122344) and the sentiment was cut with one of the Bitty Banners framelits (#129267). The "stamp" and sentiment were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Butterflies Thinlits

Hello,



Time for some home décor. Of course couldn't resist using my favourite butterfly from the Butterflies Thinlits Dies (#137360). Since I have had these framelits I have been wanting to put these butterflies into a frame and I have finally found a suitable one.

For the background I used one of the Irresistibly Yours specialty DSP which was from SAB. I then cut some Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) with the Striped Scallop Thinlits (#133734) and glued them onto the background with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). Next I cut 3 butterflies with the Butterflies Thinlits dies using Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper (#135315), Champagne Glimmer Paper (#127885) and Red Glimmer Paper (#121790). I then layered these with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). This was then placed into the frame. I didn't include the glass which allows the butterflies wings to stand up nicely.

Alphabet Press Embossing folder

Hello ladies,

The technique I have used for the background today is using an embossing folder which I have inked with a brayer.



Using the Alphabet Press embossing folder (#130916), I added Pacific Point ink (#126951) with a brayer (#102395) to one side of the folder. I then embossed a piece of Whisper White card (#106549) and this is the results. The other cardstock is Pacific Point (#116202) and Real Red (#106578). The stamp sets are Sassy Salutations (#c126707, #w132070) and Cupcake Party (#c134126, #w134123). The cupcake base was stamped with Real Red ink (#126949) and the icing has been punched from Gold Glimmer Paper (#133719) using the Cupcake Builder punch (#121807). The cupcake was attached to a piece of real red cut with the Starburst framelits (#132967). The ribbon is Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon (#119251). I added some Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to the card near the sentiment and on the base of the cupcake.

Tip for today.
To remove the ink from the embossing folder, just wash under running water.

Everything Eleanor and Work of Art

Good morning,

I used the Work of Art stamp set (#c134114,#w134111) again today for the background on this card using Daffodil Delight ink (#126944) and Pink Pirouette (#126956).




Then I stamped the flourish from Everything Eleanor stamp set (#c124164, #131987) using Wild Wasabi ink (#126959). The butterfly is stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#126970. This butterfly is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154) and cut with the Butterflies Thinlits Dies #137360). Don't forget these are available as a bundle saving 15% (#c139323, #w139322, #p138865). The sentiment also from Work Of Art is stamped with Night Of Navy ink. The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Night of Navy (#106577). The Small Scallop Stampin' Trimmer Rotary Cutting Blade (#129410) was used for the decorative edge on the Night Of Navy card.

Work Of Art

Hi,

I have just received a Stampin' Up! order and it's always exciting to use a new stamp set, so couldn't resist making a card with this Work of Art stamp set (#c134114, #w134111) today.



The other stamp set is Moon Lake (#c138540, #w137149). Firstly I stamped the 3 "splotches" of colour with Soft Sky ink (#131181), Blushing Bride (#131172) and Pear Pizzaz (#131180). Bloom With Hope

Hello,

Bloom With Hope (#c133952, #w133949) is one of the Hostess stamp sets in this current catalogue. Time is running out to be able to earn one of these beautiful sets as there will be a new catalogue available from 2nd June (not the 30th as advertised on the back of the catalogue). Contact me if you want more info on how to get this or any other Stampin' Up! products.





I used 3 designs from the Back To Black DSP (#133700). The cardstock is Bermuda Bay (#131286), Basic Black (#121688) and Whisper White (#106549). Don't these colours look great together!!! I stamped the flower with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder (#109133). I handcut the flower then attached it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Happy Birthday is also from the Bloom with Hope stamp set. This was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and punched with the Modern Label punch (#119849). The edges of this were sponged with Bermuda Bay ink (#131171).

Textured Impressions Embossing folders

Hello ladies,

This is a beautiful card using just Whisper White card (#106549) and Gold Metallic Encore Ink (#132141).





I used 4 different embossing folders - Decorative Dots (#133520), Lovely Lace (#133737), Woodgrain (#127821) and Fancy Fan (#127751) for a variety of textures. The butterflies are from the Papillion Potpourri stamp set (#c123759, #w132058) and punched with the Elegant Butterfly (#127526). Wedded Bliss is from the Tag Talk stamp set (#c134252, #w134249) and it also has a coordinating punch - the Label Bracket (#132153). I added the smallest of the Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to each butterfly. The butterflies and sentiment were added to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I think this would also make a lovely sympathy card.

Bow Builder Punch

Hello,

Here's a pretty card which I have added a bow made with the Bow Builder Punch (#137414).





I embossed the Very Vanilla base card with the Woodgrain embossing folder (#127821). The other Cardstock is Blackberry Bliss (#133682). I stamped the image from World of Dreams (#c134186, #134183) using Pear Pizzaz ink (#131180). The flowers from Petite Pairs (#c122497, #w128706) were stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink (#133642) and punched with the Petite Petals punch (#133322). These were added to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) were added to the flowers, bow and sentiment. Happy birthday is from the Big Day stamp set (from sale-a-bration).

Stippled Blossoms

Hi again,

I am almost at the end of my supply of quick and easy cards which I made before my hand operation. I have actually been able to get back into a bit of crafting the last couple of days as long as I don't do too much at a time, which is fantastic. I find it hard not being able to do very much.




I had another flower from Stippled Blossoms stamp set (#c126747,#w132076) already stamped and cut. I seem to have a lot of these floating around. It was stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#126975) and VersaMark (#102283) with Gold Embossing Powder (#109129) which was heat set. The card stock is Very Vanilla (#106550), Basic Black (#121688) and Calypso Coral (#124392). I embossed on the base card with the Honeycomb folder (#129378). Happy Birthday is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (#c126257, #w132022). This coordinates with the Bitty Banners framelits (#129267) which was used to cut this. The sentiment and flower were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430.

Moon Lake

Hello,

I embossed the image from the Moon Lake stamp set (#c138540, #w137149) on Basic Black card (#121688) using VersaMark (#102283) and White Embossing powder (#109132).



I then cut this with the Labels Collection Framelits (#125598). The base card is Island Indigo (#124390 and the DSP is Adventure Bound DSP Stack (#137780). Happy Birthday is from the Guy Greetings (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178) and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). I added some Candy Dots from the Regals Collection (#130932).

Flower Shop

Good morning,

I love it when there is a coordinating stamp and punch as it makes card making and scrapbooking so easy. Today I have used a couple of these sets. Stampin' Up! have a special on some bundles they have put together till 17th April so check them out here and save 15%.




On this card the Flower Shop stamp set (#c130942, #w130939) has a coordinating punch - the Pansy punch (#130698). The butterfly from Kinda Eclectic (#c135350, #w135347) has the matching Bitty Butterfly punch (#129406). Other punches I have used today are Petite Petals (#133322) and Owl Builder (#118074) - used for the flower centres.
The cardstock used is Very Vanilla (#106550), Rose Red (#108613) and Champagne Glimmer Paper (#127885). Inks I have used are Crumb Cake (#126975), Rose Red (#126954), Garden Green (#126973) and Soft Suede (#126978). I also used one of the Framelits from the Deco Labels Collection (#130102). These framelits are part of the bundles which are on special so don't forget to check them out. The Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (#c130517, #w130514) was used for the image at the bottom of the card. Happy Birthday is from Big Day stamp set which was one of the Sale-a-bration sets, so hope you were able to get one of those while they were available.
