Boys Will Be Boys

Hello,

Our youngest grandson turns 1 this weekend, so this is the card for him. He loves playing with blocks so thought this was just ideal for him.

The cardstock is Pacific Point (#116202) and Whisper White (#106549). I used the Red Glimmer Paper (#121790) for the number 1 which was cut with  the Large Numbers Framelits (#140622). Happy Birthday is from the Happy Birthday Everyone stamp set (#c139958, #w139171) and stamped with Pacific Point ink (#111840). The blocks were stamped with the Pacific Point, Real Red (#126949), Garden Green (#126973) and Crushed Curry inks (#131288). Firstly I stamped the blocks using the masking method, that is, after stamping some blocks, place a cut out of the block directly over the stamped blocks on the card and stamp again. This allows the blocks to overlap without stamping on the original image. I then stamped more blocks on extra card, cut these out and attached them to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) for a great 3D effect.

That's all till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

All Gods Grace

Hello again,

I have been busy this week making cards for Grandchildren. This one is for a grand daughter who is being confirmed this weekend. I have made one very similar to this in the past.

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and I have also used Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) for the circle. I embossed the base card with the Softly Falling embossing folder (#139672). The sentiment, dove and cross were all stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129), then heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The cross and dove were cut by hand. The sentiment was punched with the Decorative Label punch (#120907). I also used the gold embossing powder around the edges of the sentiment. This was then attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The dove was glued to the sentiment with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I stamped the "starburst" from Kinda Eclectic stamp set (#c135350, #w135347) using Crumb Cake ink (#126975). I cut this and the Gold Foil with the Circles Collection Framelits (#130911) and attached the cross to this with Dimensionals.

All of these products will be returning in the new catalogue except the Circles Collection Framelits.

Have a great weekend.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Crazy About You

Hi,

Here's a lovely bright card using the flower from the Crazy About You stamp set (#c138859, #w138856, #p137137).

The base card is Crushed Curry (#131288). I stamped the background using Crushed Curry ink (#131173) with images from the Timeless Textures stamp set (#c140517, #w140514). The flowers were stamped with Real Red ink (#126949), and Island Indigo ink (#126986). I also stamped 2 flowers with Crushed Curry ink and cut off the outer petals and added these smaller flowers to the red and blue flowers. Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) were added to the flower centres. The leaves are cut with one of the Framelits from the Rose Wonder Framelits (#140697). I used Garden Green card (#108605) for the leaves and they were glued to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). The sentiment is also from the Crazy About You stamp set and stamped with Crushed Curry ink.

If you can't  get a good stamped image when using the photopolymer stamps, especially more solid images like these flowers, place your card onto a Stampin' Pierce Mat (#126199) then stamp the image and you will a great result.

That's all today,

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Birthday Bouquet DSP

Welcome,

The DSP on this quick and easy card is the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper (#140557).

The base card is Watermelon Wonder (#138341) which co-ordinates with the DSP. The greeting from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167) was stamped with Watermelon Wonder ink (#138323) then cut with the Ovals Collection Framelits (#129381). This was attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves, also from the Birthday Blossoms Stamp set, are stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (#133645), then hand cut and glued to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I added a bit of sparkle to the flower centres using the Clear Wink of Stella brush (#141897).

Watercolour Wings

Hello ladies,

On this card I have done butterflies "3 ways" - stamping, embossing and Framelits.

The base card is Pacific Point (#116202) as is the square under the sentiment. This square was cut with the Square Collection Framelits (#130921). The Whisper White card (#106549) was embossed with the Fluttering embossing folder (#139304). I taped the Pacific Point Stitched Satin Ribbon (#138427) to the white card. The sentiment is from the Watercolour Wings stamp set (#p139424) and stamped with Pacific Point ink (#126951). I cut this with the Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267), then attached it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The butterfly was stamped with Pacific Point ink using the Watercolour Wings stamp set. One image was stamped using the Stampin off method and the other stamped as normal which gives you the 2 tones of the same colour. The bottom butterfly was cut with the Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135) and the top butterfly with the Butterflies Thinlits (#137360). I taped the bottom butterfly to the card and used Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the top one. I added Brights Candy Dots (#130931) to the body of the butterfly.

The retiring products here are the Square Framelits, Bitty Banners Framelits, Stitched Satin Ribbon and Candy Dots.

Have a great day,

Happy Stamping!

Timeless Elegance DSP

Hello and welcome,

The DSP on this card is from the beautiful Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper (#138444).

The cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and Cherry Cobbler (#121681). The banners were cut with the Banners Framelits (#132173) and attached to the card. Feel Better is from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (#c126707, #w132070) and stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966). I punched the greeting with the Scallop Oval Punch (#119856), then attached this with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to an oval cut with the Ovals Collection Framelits (#129381). The larger flower is from the Flower Shop stamp set (#c130942, #w130939) and the smaller flower is from Petite Petals stamp set (#c133155, #w133152). The small flower was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Embossing powder (#109131). I was going to emboss the larger flower with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder but as this is already sold out in the retirement list I want to show how to emboss even when you don't have coloured powder. Firstly, ensure your stamp is thoroughly clean, then ink with VersaMark. Then immediately ink your stamp with your choice of coloured ink, in this case I used Cherry Cobbler. Stamp onto the card and cover the image with Clear Embossing Powder (#109130), remove excess powder and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The result is an embossed image in whatever colour you choose. This flower was then punched with the co-ordinating Pansy Punch (#130698). Stampin' Dimensionals were used to add the flower to the card. I glued the small flower with Mulitpurpose Liquid Glue (#110755), the added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (#119246) to the flower centre. The leaves were punched with the Bird Builder punch (#117191) from Garden Green card (#108605), then glued to the card.

The retired products are the Timeless Elegance DSP, Sassy Salutations stamp set, Ovals Collection Framelits and the Bird Builder Punch. The retired products are available till 31st May or while stocks last. The new catalogue will be available on 1st June which is very exciting as there as so many fantastic new products which I know you will love.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

The flowers were hand cut, one was attached to the card with a Stampin' Dimensional (#104430) and the other was taped. The Iced Rhinestone Embellishments were attached to the flowers. Happy Birthday is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p 137154) and stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink.

Everything Eleanor

Hello,

Everything Eleanor stamp set (#c124164, #w131987) has been a favourite for a long time and is now retiring which I'm sure will make way for some more exciting sets. The flourish and flowers are part of this set.

Firstly I stamped the background using the Work of Art stamp set (#c134114, #w134111) with Pink Pirouette ink (#126956), Pear Pizzaz (#131180), So Saffron (#126957) and Soft Sky (#131181). This was stamped on Whisper White card (#106549). The flourish was stamped with Soft Suede ink (#126978). The flowers were stamped with Watermelon Wonder ink (#138323) using the Stamping Off method - this gives a lighter colour. The flowers were hand cut and attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). To add some glitter to the flowers I used the Clear Wink of Stella brush (# 141897) as well as the Dazzling Details (#124118). Happy Birthday from Sassy Salutations stamp set (#c126707, #w132070) was also stamped with Watermelon Wonder ink.

Enjoy your day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the DSP is from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack (#138437). The sentiments and Cross are all from the Blessed By God stamp set. The cross was stamped on Elegant Eggplant card (#126969) with VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Embossing powder (#109131), then heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with the Ovals Collection Framelits (#129381) and attached to Silver Foil Sheet which was also cut with the Oval Framelits. The oval with the sentiment was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Botanical Builder Framelits Dies

Hello and Welcome,

I love bright colours, and don't these flowers look beautiful and bright. They are cut using the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies (#140625). I am pleased to say they are not retiring.

I couldn't decide if I liked it better on the Real Red card (#106578) or the Whisper White card (#106549).  The card used for the flowers are Real Red (#106578), Island Indigo (#124390), Elegant Eggplant (#108614), Crushed Curry (#131288), Melon Mambo (#119980) and Basic Black (#121688). The leaves were stamped with Garden Green ink (#126973) onto Garden Green card (#108605) using the Botanical Blooms stamp set (#140757). The leaves were glued to the card with 2-way glue pen (#104425) and the flowers were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The DSP is from the Everyday Chic (#138445). Thank You is from the Circle Of Spring stamp set (#p138964), stamped with Real Red ink (#126949), then punched with the Hexagon punch (#130919) and attached with Dimensionals. Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) were added to the flowers.

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Birthday Blossoms

Hi everyone,

The only retiring product I have used on this card is the Chalk Talk Framelits (#129983).

The cardstock used is Elegant Eggplant (#108614) and Whisper White (#106549). I used the Elegant Dots embossing folder (#138287) to emboss the White card. Then I stamped the small flowers and the greeting from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167) with Wisteria Wonder ink (#124389). The greeting was cut with the Chalk Talk Framelits and I sponged the edges with Wisteria Wonder ink. The 3 flowers were stamped with So Saffron ink (#126957), Blushing Bride (#131172) and Marina Mist (#126962). These flowers are also from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set and punched with the Pansy punch (#130698). These were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I added some sparkle to the flowers using the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897). The White Perfect Accents (#138416) were added the the centre of the flowers.

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

World of Dreams

Hi again,

Here's  a quick and easy card using the World of Dreams stamp set (#c134186, #w134183).

Firstly I "stamped" the background using the Honeycomb embossing folder (#129378). To do this I used a brayer (#102395) to add the Daffodil Delight ink (#126944) to the folder.  Then I placed the Whisper White card (#106549) on top of the inked folder. As I didn't want a perfect image, I roughly rubbed over the back of the card. Be careful when removing the card so you don't smudge the ink. Just wash and dry the embossing folder when you are finished. Next I stamped the leaf image and sentiment from the World of Dreams stamp set using Basic Black Archival ink (#140931). The sentiment was punched with the Decorative Label punch (#120907) and attached to the card with Stampin ' Dimensionals (#104430). The other cardstock is Daffodil Delight (#121680) and Basic Black (#121688).

The retiring products from this card are the World Of Dreams stamp set, Honeycomb embossing folder and the Brayer.

Bye for now.
Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.
