Foxy Friends Birthday

Hello,

I think any boy or girl would love this cute little fox from the Foxy Friends stamp set (#p141549). This set has 29 stamps so you can make a variety of foxes as well as other animals so very versatile.

The fox was stamped with Peekaboo Peach ink (#141398). The head was stamped a 2nd time and punched with the co-ordinating Fox Builder punch (#141470), then added to the card with a Stampin' Dimensional (#104430). Happy Birthday from the Birthday Banners stamp set (#p141506) was also stamped with Peekaboo Peach ink. The trees were stamped with Mint Macaron (#138326) and the mushrooms with Flirty Flamingo (#141397) and Crumb Cake (#126975). The trees were cut with the Perfect Pines Framelits (#139665). The cardstock is Peekaboo Peach (#141422) and Whisper White (#106549).

That's all for today.
Have a great week.

Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Best Birds bundle

Hi,

The Best Birds stamp set (#p141525) and the Birds & Blooms Thinlits (#141477) make up the Best Birds bundle (#p142315) which I have used on this card.

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549), Rose Red (#108613) and Blushing Bride (#131287). I stamped the background behind the bird using VersaMark (#102283) and White Embossing Powder (#109132), and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The flowers were stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#131173) and the leaves with Pear Pizzaz ink (#131180). The bird and sentiment were both stamped with Rose Red ink (#126954). The bird was cut with a framelit from the Birds & Blooms Thinlits and the sentiment was cut with one of the Tags & Labels Framelits (#138282). Both the bird and sentiment were added to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Have a great weekend.

Falling Flowers & Flourish Thinlits

Hi and Welcome,

I think you all know I use a lot of embossing powder but I don't often use the White embossing powder (#109132) - not sure why. So I have used it here for the beautiful flourish from the Falling Flowers stamp set (#c139556, #139553).

The Flourish was stamped onto Night Of Navy card (#106557), using VersaMark (#102283) and White embossing powder, then heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The banner from Birthday Banners stamp set (#p141506) was stamped with Real Red ink (#126949). The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I used Night Of Navy ink (#126970). With the photopolymer stamps you can curve them, which I have done with the Happy Birthday, so it fitted on the banner. The banner was cut with the Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488) then I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to attach this to the card. The Framelit for the flower is from the Flourish Thinlits (#141478) and I used the Red Glimmer Paper (#121790). I then glued this to a piece of Whisper White card (#106549) and handcut around the edges. The flower was attached with Dimensionals. Real Red (#106578) was used for the base card.

Have a great day.

Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Swirly Scribbles Thinlits

Welcome,

Today I have made  a wreath using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits (#141497). It's great when you have a product that can be used for various cards, so here is a simple Christmas card using the swirls.

The cardstock I have used is Real Red (#106578), Whisper White (#106549), Mint Macaron (#138344), and Emerald Envy (#141420). The Designer Series Paper is Presents & Cones DSP (#141986). I embossed the Whisper White card using the Brick Wall folder (#138288). Merriest Wishes from the Merriest Wishes stamp set (#142063) was stamped with Real Red ink (#126949). I made the bow using the  3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon in Real Red (#141693) and attached this to the wreath with a Mini Glue Dot (#103683). The wreath was glued to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

I hope it has been a great day for you.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Lovely As A Tree Christmas card

Hello everyone,

This tree is from the Lovely As A Tree stamp set (#c127793, #w128655) and I have used the Emerald Envy Glitter Stampin' Emboss Powder (#142668), so makes it perfect for a Christmas tree. This beautiful embossing powder also comes in Real Red (#142635), so both are great for Christmas projects. This embossing powder is applied like all the other embossing powders, using VersaMark (#102283) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

The base card is Emerald Envy (#141420) and the other cardstock used is Whisper White (#106549). Happy Christmas from the Seasonal Bells stamp set (#c142107, #w142104) is stamped with Emerald Envy ink (#141396). The co-ordinating framelit for the sentiment comes from the Bunch Of Banners  Framelits (#141488). The ovals were cut using the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706). The white card for the background was embossed with the Seaside folder (#141481). The Silver ribbon is from the Glitter Ribbon Combo pack (#142015) and Sweet Sugarplum is also included in this pack. I added 2 rows of ribbon to the card before attaching the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The ovals were also attached with Dimensionals.

That's all for today.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Birthday Banners & Fancy Frost Specialty DSP

Hello ladies,

Have you seen the gorgeous Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper (#142014) from the Holiday Catalogue. It is the white background card I have used it on today's card. It is white on white textured design. You can use as is, which I have done here, or you can colour it with ink to emphasise the design. There are 6 different designs in the set.

The base card and flowers are Perfect Plum (#108615). I heat embossed the flowers and the banner using VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing Powder (#109129). This is set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The flowers were punched with the Pansy Punch (#130698). The leaves are cut using a framelit from the Flourish Thinlits (#141478) and I used the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). The sentiment and banner are from the Birthday Banners stamp set (#p141506). This stamp set is photopolymer which allows you to curve the stamp which I have done for the "Happy Birthday" as well as "it's your big day", so that it fitted on the curve of the banners. The banner was then cut with the Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488). The leaves were glued with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755), and one flower was attached with a Stampin' Dimensional (#104430).

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate

Hello again,

I'm back after a couple of busy days with a full day Christmas workshop. The ladies had lots of fun and I am holding another one next week. Now to today's card. I used the beautiful Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate (#141653) for the background. What I love about this Acetate, is that one side has gold and turn it over and the design is silver. There are 3 designs in the set.

The base card is Mint Macaron (#138344). The flower from Grateful Bunch (#p140691) was stamped with Mint Macaron ink (#138326). I then added the glitter to the petals using the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) and a Gold Metallic Enamel Dot (#141678) to the flower centre. This was  stamped on Very Vanilla card (#106550) as was the sentiment. Happy Birthday is from the Birthday Banners stamp set (#141506) and also stamped with Mint Macaron ink. The banner is also from the Birthday Banners stamp set and stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing Powder (#109129). The framelit to cut this is from the co-ordinating Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488) then attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

That's all till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Pretty Pines Thinlits with Presents & Pines DSP

Hello ladies,

I find that I am using more and more Framelits when making my cards and they certainly do make creating cards easier. I have used 4 different sets of framelits on this card.

Firstly, I embossed the Whisper White base card (#106549) with the Softly Falling folder (#139672). The DSP is from the Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper (#141986). The pinecone and leaves were cut with the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies (#141851) using Early Espresso card (#121686) and Whisper White card. I used Emerald Envy card (#141420) for the leaves. For the bird, I used the Red Glimmer paper (#121790) and this was cut with the Birds & Blooms Thinlits (#141477). The circles were cut with the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705) and the sentiment was cut with one of the Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488). This framelit allows you to cut the inner banner (white card) as well as the outside which I cut from Real Red card (#106578). Merry Christmas was stamped with Real Red ink (#126949) and is from the Flurry Of Wishes stamp set (#p139732). The bird, pinecone and sentiment were all attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves were glued with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

That's all for today.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Reason For the Season stamp set

Hi,

I have used the flower from the Reason Of The Season stamp set (#p139730) which is a Christmas set but didn't make a Christmas card.

I stamped the flower with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing Powder (#109129) which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The cardstock I used for the flower is Cajun Craze (#121683). The card for the leaves is Emerald Envy (#141420) and I stamped the veins with Emerald Envy ink (#141396). The leaves were punched with the Festive Flower Builder punch (#139682). The flower was cut by hand. The DSP is from the Moroccan Designer Series Paper (#141645). The sentiment from Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154) was stamped with Cajun Craze ink (#126965), then cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706). The flower and sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Don't forget that when you purchase 3 packs of DSP, you receive a 4th one free. DSP stacks and specialty papers are not included, but there is a great range to choose from. This offer is available till the end of October so don't miss out. Contact me if your want more information.

Santa's Sleigh Bundle

Hello,

The Santa Sleigh Bundle (#p143499) is one of many of the bundles available in the Holiday catalogue and has been used for this beautiful Christmas card.

I cut the Whisper White card (#106549) 28 x14cm and scored in half to give me a a square card. I embossed the card with the Softly Falling Embossing folder (#139672). The tree, sleigh, reindeer, presents and teddies are all images from the Santa's Sleigh stamp set (#p142057). Merriest Wishes is from the Merriest Wishes stamp set (#c142066, #w142063). The inks used are Cherry Cobbler (#126966) for the sentiment and presents, Daffodil Delight (#126944) for presents and Soft Suede (#126978) for the teddies. The tree was heat embossed with VersaMark (#102283) and White Embossing Powder (#109132) on Wild Wasabi card (#111850). The Reindeer was heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder (#141636) on Crumb Cake card (#121685) and the Sleigh and Bow were also heat embossed in Copper. Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies

Hello again,

The Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies (#141851) have been used to cut these leaves, pine cones and bow. There are 13 dies in this set, and it is advised to use the Precision Base Plate (#139684) when cutting these detailed images.

I embossed the Very Vanilla base card (#106550) using the beautiful Cable Knit Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder (#143537). This folder creates deep, dimensional embossed impressions. The folder is much thicker than the normal folders so you don't use the top standard cutting pad when rolling through the Big Shot (#143263). The circles were cut with the Layering Cirles Framelits (#141705) from Real Red card (#106578) and Very Vanilla. The cardstock used for the leaves are Garden Green (#108605), Always Artichoke (#108610) and Early Espresso (#121686). I used Crumb Cake (#121685) and Early Espresso card for the pine cones and Real Red card was used for the bow. Happy Christmas from the Seasonal Bells stamp set (#c142107, #w142104) and stamped with Real Red ink (#126949). The co-ordinating framelit to cut this is from the Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488), then this was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Enjoy your day.

Happy Stamping!

Time Of Year

Hi again,

The are times when you just want a simple card and this one would be perfect for many occasions.

The card is Whisper White (#106549). I scored some diagonal lines in the top right corner and bottom left corner of the card front.

Thinking Of You is from the Time Of Year stamp set (#p141790) and is one of the hostess products. This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder (#109129). I also used this for the butterfly from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set (#c123759, #w132058). The butterfly was punched with the Bitty Butterfly Punch (#129406) and attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Well you can't get much simpler than that, and very quick as well.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Birds & Blooms Thinlits

Hello,

There are 3 different sets of framelits used here on this card.

The bird is cut with the Birds and Blooms Thinlits (#141477), the leaves with the Botanical Builder Framelits (#140625) and the ovals with the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706). I embossed the Whisper White base card (#106549) with the Pretty Paisleys Embossing Folder (#141833). I stamped the background on the Whisper White oval with Crumb Cake ink (#126975) using an image from the Best Birds stamp set (#p141525). Real Red card (#106578) was used for the larger oval and. I used Always Artichoke card (#108610) for the leaves. The flowers from Petite Petals stamp set (#c133155, #w133152) were stamped with Crushed  Curry ink (#131173). These flowers were punched with the Petite Petals punch (#133322) then I added Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to the flowers. The Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) were used for the bird. The bird and the flowers were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves were glued with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). I didn't add a sentiment as I am often asked for cards without one, so it can be used for any occasion.

That's all for today. I can't believe the weekend is here again. Where do the weeks go?

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Paisleys & Posies Bundle

Hi again,

Yes, another bundle - the Paisleys & Posies stamp set with the Paisley Framelits Dies (#p143515) making a very pretty card. It's great to have so many products that co-ordinate and it certainly makes crafting so much easier.

The cardstock is Flirty Flamingo (#141421) and Whisper White (#106549). I embossed the white card with the Pretty Paisleys Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#141833). I stamped the flowers with Daffodil Delight ink (#126944) and the leaves with Mint Macaron ink (#138326) then cut them with the framelits and glued them to the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I cut 2 "flowers" from the Flirty Flamingo card also using the Paisley framelits Dies (#141849). I added a silver Metallic Enamel Shape (#141678) to these cutouts. Thank You is from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set (#p141614) and I cut this with the smallest framelit from Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488). This was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink (#141397). Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the sentiment to the card.

Enjoy your day.

Falling Flowers with Bold Butterfly Framelits

Hello,

I didn't have a lot of time to make a card today but was pleased with how this one turned out. I already had the gold butterfly cut so didn't take long to put it together.

The cardstock is Mint Macaron (#138344) and Very Vanilla (#106550). The butterfly is cut from Gold Glimmer Paper (#133719) and I used the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate (#141653) at the bottom of the card. This Acetate has gold on one side and silver on the other so very versatile. The pack also has 3 different designs. The flourish and sentiment were stamped with Mint Macaron ink (#138326). The stamp sets are Falling Flowers (#c139556, #w139553) for the flourish and Time Of Year (#p141790) for the sentiment. The framelit to cut the birthday banner is the Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488) The gold butterfly was cut with the Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135) and the Mint Macaron butterfly was cut with the Butterflies Thinlits (#137360). I added the Gold 1/4" Natural trim (#131484) at the top and bottom of the acetate. This covers the tape that can be seen through the Acetate. The banner and butterfly was attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

That's all for today.

Happy Stamping!

Flourish Thinlits

Hello,

I was asked to make a Thank You card so here it is. I made a large one as there are a number of people to sign it, so I used a piece of A4 Elegant Eggplant card (#108614) and folded it in half.

I stamped on the border of the Very Vanilla card (#106550) with Wisteria Wonder ink (#126985) using the Timeless Texures stamp set (#c140517, #w140514). The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing Powder (#109129) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The sentiment is from the Mixed Borders stamp set (#p141932). This was attached to the gold Metallic Foil Doilies (#138392) with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The flowers and leaves are cut with the Flourish Thinlits (#141478) from Elegant Eggplant card, Wisteria Wonder card (#124389) and Always Artichoke card (#108610). I glued the flowers to a piece of Very Vanilla card and cut these by hand as I wanted to add these to the card with Dimensionals and that would have been difficult without doing this. The Fine-Tip Glue pen (#138309) is ideal for these delicate cutouts. I added some gold Metallic Enamel Shapes (#141678) the the flowers and sentiment.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

I heat embossed the Mint Macaron card (#138344) using VersaMark (#102283) and Copper Embossing Powder (#141636). I cut this with the Leaflets Framelits Dies. I also cut a piece of Copper Foil Sheet (#142020) with the same framelit. I stamped on the Very Vanilla base card with an image from the Touches of Texture stamp set (#c143251, #w141934) using Crumb Cake ink (#126975). The Very Vanilla square was embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder (#127821) and attached to a piece of Copper Foil Sheet. The sentiments from the Gift Of Love stamp set (#p141796) were stamped with Mint Macaron ink (#138326). I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the leaves to the card.

Foxy Friends

Hi,

The Foxy Friends stamp set (#p141549) is so cute and there are 29 photopolymer images in the set. It also has the co-ordinating Fox Builder punch (#141470) and of course is available as a bundle (#142326) which means you save $$$$.

I made this card for our grandson. He loves to look out the window to watch what's happening in the neighbourhood, so I thought having the fox look through the window was appropriate for him.

The base card is Very Vanilla (#106550), and I also used this to stamp the fox and the greeting on. The DSP is Moroccan Designer Series Paper (#141645) and the window is from Delightful Dijon card #138345). I stamped the trees from the Lovely As A Tree stamp set (#c127793, #w128655) using Garden Green ink (#126973) onto Soft Sky card (#131292). The window was cut out using the Hearth & Home Thinlits (#139666). The fox was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink (#108601) and the eyes and nose were stamped with Archival Basic Black ink (#140931). Happy Birthday and Banner are from the Birthday Banners stamp set (#p141506) and the banner was cut with the Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488). The inks used are Delightful Dijon (#138327) and Garden Green. I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the banner and the window to the card.

Till the end of October Stampin' Up! have a fantastic offer on Designer Series Paper - buy 3 get one free. The specialty papers or stacks are not included. For more information please contact me.

Merry Tags Framelits Dies

Hello and welcome,

These Merry Tags Framelits Dies (#141835) make it so easy to create a variety of tags. They are also great to add to a card.

For the card I used Real Red card (#106578), Daffodil Delight (#121680) and Whisper White (#106549). I embossed the Whisper White card with the Softly Falling embossing folder (#139672). The squares were cut with the Layering Squares Framelits (#141708). I stamped on the white square with the image from the Merriest Wishes stamp set (#c142066, #w142063) using Daffodil Delight ink (#126944). Merriest wishes was stamped with Real Red ink (#126949). The tag was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) and the ribbon is 1/8" Gold Ribbon (#134583).

The tags were made with a variety of papers and inks, using the Merriest Wishes stamp set and Merry Tags Framelits Dies which come in a bundle (#c143520, #w143519), which means you will make a saving of 10%.

Enjoy your weekend.

Till next time,
Happy stamping!

Star of Light Bundle

Hello,

Another variation using the Star Of Light stamp set (#p142110) and the Starlight Thinlits Dies (#143508). The bundle is #143508.

For the base card and star I used Cherry Cobbler card (#121681). The card front is Whisper White (#106549). I stamped the star flourish with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed this with the Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109131), which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The star was glued using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755) directly to the card. The sentiment was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966).

As I usually like to add dimension to my cards I then made a second card with a slight variation.

I cut a piece of Whisper White card using the plain framelit and glued the Cherry Cobbler star to this. This then allowed me to add Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to the star, then attach it to the card. I also glued a small star cut from Silver Glimmer Paper (#135314) to the card.

That's all for today.

Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Star of Light Christmas card

Welcome,

Everyone seem to love this Star Of Light stamp set (#p142110) and the co-ordinating Starlight Thinlits Dies (#141840), and of course they come as a bundle (#143508) which you save 10%.

I stamped the star on Daffodil Delight card (#121680) with Daffodil Delight ink (#126944). All the images are from the the Star Of Light stamp set. The star was then cut with one of the Starlight Thinlits Dies. The greeting was stamped with Real Red ink (#126949) on Whisper White card (#106549). The cutout star was attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I added a Metallic Enamel Shape (#141678) to the centre of the star. The base card is also Daffodil Delight.

Well that was a quick and easy card, so would be great when you have lots of Christmas cards to make.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder

Hi ladies,

This new Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#143537) creates deep dimensional embossed impressions and is especially stunning when used with the new Copper Foil Sheets (#142020).

The base card is Bermuda Bay (#131286) and the card front is Very vanilla (#106550). The boots from the Country Livin' stamp set #c141925) were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with the Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder (#141636). The emboss powder was set with the Heat Tool (#129056) before cutting the boots out by hand. Happy Birthday is from the Birthday Banners stamps set (#p141506) and stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#131171). The framelit to cut the greeting is from the Bunch Of Banners Framelits (#141488). The boots and greeting were both attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

I hope you are having a good day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Gift Wallet

Hello,

A gift wallet is ideal when you want to give cash or a gift card which seems to be the common thing to do these days. Here is the one I made for the wedding we attended last weekend.

I used Shimmery White card (#121717) and Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). I cut the outside card 25cm x10cm and scored this at12.5cm. Inside cards were cut 24cm x 7cm and 2 pieces at 11 x 5.5cm and scored at 12cm. The outside card was embossed with the Elegant Dots folder (#138287). I pierced the 2 smaller pieces using the Paper- Piercing Tool (#126189), then I used the Crumb Cake Stampin' Write marker from the Neutrals Collection (#131261), so it appears that these pieces have been sewn. I sponged the edges of the card with Crumb Cake ink (#126975). The bells from the Seasonal Bells stamp set (#142104) as well as the sentiments from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set (#c141534, #w141531) were stamped with VersaMark (#102283). These were then embossed with Gold Embossing Powder (#109129) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The gold circle was cut with a (retired) circle framelit. I added a Gold Metallic Enamel Shape (#141678) to the top of the bells. One of the bells was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). When taping the pieces together you need a strong adhesive, so the Tear And Tape Adhesive (#138995) is ideal for this.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Bold Butterfly Framelits

Hello,

An easy card using DSP, framelits and just 1 stamp for the greeting.

The cardstock is Crushed Curry (#131288), Basic Black (#121688) and Whisper White (#106549). The Crushed Curry DSP is from the Regals Designer Series Paper Stack (#138436). Happy Birthday is from the Circle Of Spring stamp set (#p138964) and stamped with the Archival Basic Black ink (#140931). The framelit to cut the white card is from the Botanical Builder Framelits (#140625). The butterflies were cut with the Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135) and the Butterflies Thinlits (#137360). I glued the 2 butterflies together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755), and as usual I attached these to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

I hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.
