Merry Christmas

Hello Everyone,

Well, it’s only a couple of days to Christmas, so this is the last Christmas card I will make for the year.

This is an easel card. I cut the A4 Cherry Cobbler card (#121681) in half lengthways, then scored in half, so the card is still the normal 10.5 x 14.9 cm. The Designer Series Paper is from the Festive Farmhouse (#147820). Merry Christmas is cut with dies from the Merry Christmas Thinlits (#147912). I had used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) on the Cherry Cobbler card before cutting. I stamped the sentiment Wishing You Peace... with  Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083) and cut this with a die from Merry Christmas Thinlits. The sentiment is from the Merry Christmas To All stamp set (#p147702). The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Blizzard Thinlits Die (#147902) was used to cut the snowflakes from the Silver Glimmer Paper (#146960), which also had Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet attached to the back.

I will be having a short break till the New Year, so I wish you all a Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year. Look forward to be back with lots of exciting new products from the new Occasions Catalogue which will be available from 3rd January, as well as Sale-a-bration.

Time For Tea

Hello friends,

The Time For Tea stamp set (#p147069) is where you will find this cup & saucer image.

I stamped the cup & saucer with VersaMark (#102283) and added the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). These were attached to the Very Vanilla card (#106550) which had been embossed with the Tufted Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#146335). I stamped on the square piece of card with another image from the Time For Tea stamp set. This was attached to the Bermuda Bay card (#131286). Happy Birthday was cut from Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) and Coastal Cabana card (#131302). Both these had the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) attached to the back before cutting with the Happy Birthday Thinlits (#143700). I offset them slightly to give a shadow effect.

I hope your week leading up to Christmas isn’t too hectic.

Happy Birthday Gorgeous

Hello friends,

The Stamparatus (#148187) is such a handy tool for stamping, and it has been used here to stamp Happy Birthaday perfectly on this masculine card.

Happy Birthday is from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set (#143662). This was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). I set up the Stamparatus so I could move the plate one hinge at a time, down the card tostamp each image. The first image was inked and stamped, the 2nd image was stamped without reinking, and I continued this down the card. Then without moving the card, I VersaMarked the 1st, 3rd and 5th images and added the Clear Stampin’ Embossing Powder (#109130) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then attached the piece of Wood Texture DSP (#144177) to the Blueberry Bushel card (#146991), then this was attached to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550).

Enjoy your day.

Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper

Hello & Welcome,

The Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (#146907) works beautifully with the Delightfully Detailed Note Cards (#146911) and I have used them together for these 2 cards.

These note cards are already printed with a colour wash in BlackBerry Bliss and Mint Macaron. There are 4 designs. The laser cut paper was glued to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). Thank You, for the top card is from the Stitched All Around stamp set (#c146632, #w146629) and stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink (#147092). This and the piece under the sentiment were both cut with Stitched Labels Framelits (#146828). Thank You was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).
For the second card, I used A Good Day stamp set (#c145873, #w145870) to stamp the sentiment, using Mint Macaron ink (#147106). I punched this with the 1-1/8” Scallop Circle (#146138), which fitted perfectly under the Laser cut paper.
The laser cut paper has Very Vanilla on one side and Whisper White on the other. One design is a 12”x12” pattern and the other has a variety of smaller designs which fit the note cards as well as pieces of border.

Have a great day.

Still Night

Welcome,

The Still Night stamp set (#147670, #w147673) is one of the retiring sets from the holiday catalogue, so if you have been wanting this beautiful set, don’t delay. The co-ordinating Night Owl Thinlits (#147920) are also retiring.

I stamped the owl from the Still Night stamp set using Soft Suede ink (#147115), then cut out with the Night Owl thinlits. I attached the Designer Series Paper from Festive Farmhouse (#147820) to the Basic Black base card (#121688). The ribbon is Black 3/8” Glittered Organdy (#147897). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attached the owl to the the red DSP, also from the Festive Farmhouse, which was cut with a die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372). Thank You was cut with the Thank You Thinlits (#146832) from Black Foil Sheets (#147898). I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) on the back of the black foil.

Hope this Christmas season isn’t too busy for you.

Have a great weekend.

Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper

Hello,

The Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper (#146902) has some cute animals which also co-ordinate with the Animal Outing stamp set (#c146600, #w146597). The Animal Friends Thinlits Dies also co-ordinate with the stamp set and DSP.

I have cut these giraffe from the DSP. There is only one die for the giraffe, but I have cut these giraffe with them facing different ways. To do this, I placed the die at the back of the DSP. You do need good light to be able to see if you have lined it up correctly. Then cut as usual. The 2 giraffe facing to the left were cut like this. The Whisper White base card (#106549) was embossed with the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#148026) and the DSP along the bottom of the card is also from the Animal Expedition DSP. The white square is cut with a die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372) and mounted onto a piece of  Shaded Spruce card (#147006). The leaves are cut with dies from the Animal Friends thinlits. Best Wishes is from the Stitched All Around stamp set (#c146632, #w146629) and stamped with Shaded Spruce ink (#147088). This was cut with a die from the Petals & More Thinlits (#145655), I attached the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and added some Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220).

The Corrugated Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is from the holiday catalogue. Many products are retiring but fortunately this one is being carried over. Check out the retiring products here.

Enjoy your day.

Z fold card

Hello friends,

This is a beautiful card using the Very Vintage stamp set (#c146801, #w146798). Most of my cards recently have had very little stamping, so this one has a bit more. This was a card I did for a class, so was easy to set up each of the stamps on the Stamparatus (#148187).

The Merry Merlot base card (#147005) was cut 15cm x 29.8cm (the length of the A4 card). The strip at the bottom of the card is 4cm wide and the same length as the card. The 2 pieces of card are scored at 7.5cm and 15cm. I stamped on the Very Vanilla card (#106550) using Merry Merlot ink (#147112). The flowers, doily, Happy Birthday and floral border are all from the Very Vintage stamp set. Enjoy Your Special Day is from the Stitched All Around stamp set (#c146632, #w146629). Sending Love & Hugs to You is from the Ribbon Of Courage stamp set (#c143855, #w143852). A die from the All The Presents thinlits Dies (#147917) was used to cut the bow, and the bird was cut with the Birds & Blooms Thinlits (#141477). I used the Copper Foil Sheets (#142020) for both. The bow was attached with Mini Dimensionals (#104430) and I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) for the bird.

I made an envelope to fit the card using the Envelope Punch Board (#133774). This tool makes it a breeze to make an envelope, with up to 66 sizes to choose from for a perfect fit.

Have a great day.

Easel Desk Calendar

Hello Ladies & Guys,

This easel desk calendar is a great gift and easy to make and no stamping.

The base card is an A4 piece of Berry Burst card (#144249) cut in half lengthways, then scored at 7.5 cm and 14.9cm. You will need another piece of the same coloured card cut 10.5cm x 14.9cm. Attach the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper (#146913) to the Mango Melody card (#147013). There are 2 of these to do. One is then attached to the base of the calendar and the other to the 10.5x14.9 piece of Berry Burst card. This is then attached to the flap of the base card. The butterfly is cut with the die from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits (#146326). I cut 2 butterflies - one from Gold Glimmer Paper (#146958) and the other from Basic Black card (#121688). The gold butterfly was attached to the black butterfly with Stampin’ Dimensional (#104430). The calendar and post it notes (both non Stampin’Up!) were taped to the card.

Hope you are having a great day,

Glimmer Paper

Hi everyone,

All these flowers and leaves were cut using Glimmer Paper.  Nothing like a bit of sparkle on a card.

The colours of the Glimmer Paper used are Gold (#146958), Rose (#146959), Merry Merlot and Tranquil Tide. Merry Merlot & Tranquil Tide are from the Joyous Noel 6” x 6” pack (#147817). The framelits used for these are Flourish Thinlits (#141478) and Seasonal Layers Thinlits (#143751). The wreath was embossed onto Whisper White card (#106549) using the Seasonal Wreath Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#146833). Best Wishes is from the Petal Palette stamp set (#c145788, w#145785) and stamped with Shaded Spruce ink (#147088). I lightly sponged the edges of the card front with Soft Suede ink (#147115) before attaching this to the base card.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits Dies

Welcome,

I have just finished making all my Christmas cards. I have used this design for a number of cards but changed the Designer Series Paper, sentiments and dies for some variety.

I stamped the sentiment from the now retired Snow Is Glistening Stamp set, using Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083). I then embossed the Whisper White base card (#106549) with the Quilt Top Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#144687). The Designer Series Paper is Joyous Noel Specialty DSP (#147816). I cut the “ribbon” with a die from All the Presents Thinlits (#147917) using Cherry Cobbler paper (#121681). The Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) had been adhered to the back of the card before cutting it. This adhesive makes it so easy to adhere these detailed pieces to the card. The Poinsettia was cut with dies from the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits (#147925). For the base of the flower I used Copper Foil Sheet (#142020) and for the detailed flower I used Merry Merlot from the Joyous Noel 6” x 6” Glimmer Paper (#147817). The flower was then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Now I just have to head to the post office and post all my cards. Great feeling when they are all finished.

Bye for now.

Night Of Bethlehem

Hello again,

I think I am nearly finished making my Christmas cards, but still have a few to make, so here is a quick and easy one.

I attached the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper (#146284) to the Whisper White base card (#106549). Before attaching it I sprayed the DSP with Champagne Shimmer Paint (#147144) which gives a lovely glimmer to the paper. The sentiment from the Snow Is Glistening stamp set is stamped with Real Red ink (#147084) onto Whisper White card. I stamped Mary & Joseph from the Night In Bethlehem stamp set (#c145282, #w144809) using Night Of Navy ink (#147110). The stamped Whisper White card was attached to a piece of Real Red card (#106578). The star also from the Night Of Bethlehem stamp set was stamped with So Saffron ink (#147109) and cut with the co-ordinating die from the Bethlehem Edgelits (#144676). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the star to the card.

This is an easy card when you have a few to make with little time. The Stamparatus (#148187) makes it even easier for stamping.

Have a great day.

Broadway Bound DSP

Hello,

The Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper (#146277) has Gold Foil on one side of each of the designs and this pack has a great combination of designs suitable for a variety of occasions. I have used it for the card front on this card.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the detailed border is cut with the Delicate Lace Edgelits (#147053). Celebrate from the Celebrate You Thinlits (#146840) and the border were both cut from the Black Foil Sheets (#147898). I stamped the images for the balloons from the Balloon Celebration stamp set (#p140675) using VersaMark (#102283). This was stamped onto Silver Foil (#132178), Gold Foil (#132622) and Copper Foil (#142020), and embossed with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#146956), then heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The balloons were punched with the Balloon Bouquet punch (#140609). The balloons were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) & I glued “celebrate” using the Fine Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Have a great day.
