Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hi again,

Another Christmas card using the Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165853). This floral image is part of the DSP and can be cut with the co-ordinating Christmas Greenery dies (#165872).

The Gold Foil (#132622) behind the floral image was cut with a die from the Sentimental Framing dies (#165476).

The Regal Distressed Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper (#164037) was matted with Gold Foil then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781). The die cut gold foil was attached to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment is from the Peace On Earth stamp set (#165918). These words are on one stamp, so I masked  the words so I only inked & stamped each word separately and punched the words with the Three Banner Punch (#167050). These were taped to the card.

Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hi everyone,

With all the Christmas cards I have made already this year I just realised today I haven't got enough. Here’s an easy one using the beautiful Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165853).

The DSP was matted with Real Red card (#106578) then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

“Merry Christmas” is from the Traditional Labels stamp set (#165854) and I stamped this with Real Red ink (#147084).

The Real Red and Basic White rectangles were cut with the Textured Notes dies (#165555). These were attached to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I stamped the flower from the Delicate Pines stamp set (#166067) with Real Red ink. The flower and Real Red & Granny Apple Green card (#147014) were all cut with the same die from the Delicate Pines dies (#166073). These were attached together with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and attached to the card.

Friendly Foliage Bundle

 Hello fellow crafters,

I love the simplicity of the foliage in the Friendly Foliage stamp set (#167021), then when cut with the dies takes it to the next level. There are 2 dies to cut the foliage. You can just cut the outline image, or you can use a second die to cut the pieces around the leaves inside the frame, which is what I have done on this image.

I stamped the image and sentiment with VersaMark (#102283) and added the Copper powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678), then set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). The foliage was then cut with the Friendly Foliage dies (#167023) and the sentiment was punched with the Three Banner Punch (#167050).

I cut the Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper (#167082) and the Copper from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772) with the Branching Out dies (#165775). I also matted another piece of DSP with the Copper Paper and attached it to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) to attach the foliage and the sentiment to the card. The Low Profile Dots (#164658) were added to the card.

Petals Of Beauty

 Hello again friends,

The Petals Of Beauty Bundle (#167096) consists of the Petals Of Beauty stamp set (#167093) and Petals Of Beauty dies (#167095).

The flowers & leaves were cut using the dies. The background of the flower was cut with Basic White card (#166781), then I added some colour with a Blending Brush (#153611) with Calypso Coral ink (#147101). I used Calypso Coral card (#124392) for the detailed flower and Mossy Meadow card (#133683) and Old Olive card (#106576) for the leaves.

The 2 pieces of DSP are from the Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper (#167082) and matted with Calypso Coral card. This was attached to the Basic White base card.

The Mossy Meadow card for the detailed leaf was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The Old Olive leaf was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

I stamped the sentiment from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) with Calypso Coral ink onto a label from the Foiled Frames & Labels Ephemera Pack (#165616). This was attached to the card.

The detailed flower was attached to the background flower with Mini Glue dots, then the flower was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the fine die cut flower. The embellishments are the Antique Pearls (#164679) which I coloured with the dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends (#154881).

Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hello again,

I usually go for the traditional Christmas colours but I do like this Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165990).

I attached the 2 pieces of DSP to a piece of  Gold from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772), then this was attached to the Basic White Base card. (#166781).

The label is from the Foiled Frames & Labels Ephemera Pack (#165616). The “Season’s Greetings” is from the Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#166208). These sentiments have an adhesive backing, so just peel off  the back and adhere to the label. The label was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I added the Gold sequins from the Traditional Sparkling Sequins (#165875).

Such an easy but elegant card.

Party Alphabet dies

 Hi friends,

I had a lovely relaxing day today with fellow demonstrators at a “Craft & Connect” gathering. It is always so much fun connecting with other demonstrators,

This card is one of the cards we made today.

The J & Y were cut with the Party Alphabet dies (#165263) from Real Red card (#106578).

I punched 5 circles from the Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165990) using the 2” Circle Punch (#133782). I also punched one from Real Red card. I folded each of the circles from the DSP in half then joined them together, then attached them to the Real Red circle.

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder (#164695) and matted with Real Red card. I wrapped the retired Open Weave Trim around the card front.

I attached the letters with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and taped the circles. I chose the Traditional Sparkling Sequins (#165875) for the embellishments.

Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape

 Hello again friends,

The Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape (#165269) has a beautiful range of floral patterns which can be cut with the Extraordinary Flora dies (#165244).

The Washi tape was adhered to a piece of Basic White card (#16681) then cut with the dies.

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder (#167097), then matted with Summer Splash card (#163798). This was taped to the Basic White base card.

The 2 strips of DSP are from the Country Woods Specialty Designer Series Paper (#163393). I attached the floral images with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the floral images. The Iridescent Faceted Gems (#163368) were added to complete the card.

An easy masculine card using the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper (#165196).

The card front and the house are both from the DSP. The card front was dry embossed with the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder (#164069), then matted with Mossy Meadow card (#133683).

I cut the house from the DSP and the Mossy Meadow card using the Branching Out dies (#165775). These were taped together then attached to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Happy Birthday” is from the Simply Said stamp set (#163756) and stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111) on Basic Beige card (#164512). A Stylish Shapes die (#159183) was used to cut the sentiment. This was also attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The base card is Basic Beige.

Petals Of Beauty

 Hi friends,

These flowers & leaves are from the Petals Of Beauty Bundle (#167096). The bundle consists of the Petals Of Beauty stamp set (#167093) and Petals Of Beauty dies (#167095).

I stamped the flowers with Calypso Coral ink (#147101). For the larger flower I used full strength ink for the outside and “stamped off” for the lighter colour. The flowers & leaves were cut with the dies. I used Old Olive card (#106576) for the leaves.

I dry embossed the Vellum Specialty Paper (#167099) with the Beautiful Pattern embossing folder (#167097) and matted it with the Calypso Coral card (#124392). The Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper (#167082) was also matted with Calypso Coral card then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The leaves and one small flower were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The other flowers were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the flowers and I added the white Hues Of Blue Flowers (#165930) to the flower centres.

Delicate Framing dies

 Hello again friends,

I have had a very busy few days, (sorry for my absence),  then yesterday we had a vicious storm which has left us and many others without power. Luckily we didn't have any damage, just a part of a tree down and lots of debris. So now I am back in the craft room.

I have used the Delicate Framing Dies (#167026) on this card. There are 11 dies in this set as shown below.

I used Basic Black card (#121688) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) for these die cuts.  I like to use this for all the finer die cuts making it easy to attach to the card. They were attached to the Crushed Curry card (#131288). The card front was attached to the Basic Black base card.

The sentiment is from the Peace On Earth stamp set (#165918) and stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#147087). I cut this with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183), then matted it with Basic Black card. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The flower is from the Extraordinary Flora stamp set (#165243) and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). I coloured it with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883) and Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends (#163826). Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the flower

Artistic Leaves

 Hi again friends,

This leaf is from the Artistic Leaves stamp set (#166162) and this is a Two-step stamp which allows you to stamp with 2 colours.

I stamped the first image with Cajun Craze ink (#147085) and the second image was also using Cajun Craze ink but I stamped off first to give a lighter colour. The leaf was fussy cut.

The 2 pieces of DSP are from the Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165969). The card front was matted with Old Olive card (#106576). A strip of Cajun Craze card (#121683) was attached between the 2 pieces of DSP.

“Celebrate Today” is from the Artistic Leaves stamp set and stamped with Cajun Craze ink. A Stylish Shapes die (#159183) was used to cut the sentiment.

The leaf & sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Low Profile Sparkle Dots (#166157) were added to the card.

This is an easy template which could be used with any Designer Paper and stamp.

Thankful Garden

 Hello Stamping friends,

The Thankful Garden Bundle (#165534) with the co-ordinating Thankful Garden Decorative Masks (#165538) have been used for this floral image.

I stamped the image from the Thankful Garden stamp set (#165526) with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#166781). I coloured this with the Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes (#153611). For the flowers I used Peach Pie ink (#163810), then Timid Tiger ink (#165278), followed by Pumpkin Pie ink (#147086).  I used Summer Splash ink (#163809) for the leaves. The first layer I applied a light colour, then the next layer I added extra colour to make it darker. The flower was then cut with the Thankful Garden die (#165533). I then used the masks for the flowers & leaves that I used for the darker layers and applied the Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645) on top.

The Everyday Arches dies (#164629) were used to cut the Peach Pie card (#163800) and Vellum Specialty Paper (#167099). I dry embossed the Vellum and the Summer Splash card front (#163798) using the So Swirly Embossing Folder (#163791).

The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped with Summer Splash ink and cut with another Everyday Arches die. I wrapped the Summer Splash ribbon around the arches and attached the arches to the card front.

The flower & sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I coloured the Antique Pearls (#164679) with the Dark Summer Splash Stampin Blends (#163826) before attaching them to the card.

I have added 3 strips of the DSP to Highland Heather card (#147010). This was matted with Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

“Happy Anniversary” is from the Layers Of Beauty stamp set (#163514) and stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099). The sentiment & the Gorgeous Grape card were cut with the Branching Out dies (#165775). Using a Blending Brush (#153611) I lightly added some Highland Heather ink on part of the card with the sentiment before attaching the flower. Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hello again friends,

If you are looking for a quick and easy Christmas card you can’t go past the beautiful Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165853), which I have used here for the card front.

I used the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) to matt the DSP. If you are wanting to save some of the Gold Foil, you can cut the Label from the middle of the gold, before attaching the DSP. The die I used was from the Traditional Labels (#165864).

I wrapped the Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon (#165599) around the card front then attached the card front to the Basic White base card (#166781). The gold label was taped to the card.

“Merry Christmas” is from the Christmas Words Collage Hybrid Embossing Folder (#165912). To get the ink outline, I applied the Real Red ink (#147084) over the inside of the front of the embossing folder. I placed the Basic White card inside the folder and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Embossing Machine (#149653). This gives the red outline to the words. I then placed the die over the card and cut out all the words. If you weren't adding the ink you can cut & emboss this in one go by placing the die inside the folder.

I attached “Merry Christmas” to the label with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The Faceted Snowflakes (#166077) were added to finish the card.
