Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Series Paper

 Hello friends,

This designer paper is from the Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Series Paper (#166066).

The strips of DSP were taped to the Cherry Cobbler card (#121681), then this was taped to the Pretty Peacock card (#150886) and attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The tree from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set (#165991) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I added the Gold Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This Pretty Peacock card was cut with a circle die from the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183). The circle was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Merry” & “Christmas” were cut with the Words For The Season dies (#165797) using Cherry Cobbler card which I had backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The Adhesive Sheet is great for the more detailed dies, making it easy to attach the detailed cut outs to the card.

I added Glimmer to the tree using the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).

Ornamental Christmas Bundle

 Hello again friends,

I have used the Ornamental Christmas Bundle (#166001) for this easy Christmas card.

The sentiment from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set (#165991) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I added Gold powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678), then set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was then cut with the bauble die from the Ornamental Christmas die (#166000).

The Party Banners dies (#165264) were used to cut the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and the Basic White card (#166781). The Gold foil banner was dry embossed with one of the Glass & Garden Embossing Folders (#165597).The white banner was cut in half and attached to the gold banner at the top & bottom.

The Real Red card front (#106578) was dry embossed with the Forever Plaid embossing folder (#164049). The banners were taped to the card front. The bauble was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I threaded the Twine from the Black and White & Gold Bakers Twine (#166005), through the bauble and wrapped it over the card front. The card front was taped to the Basic White base card.

The Gold Flower Accents (#165171) were attached to the bauble.

I matted the DSP with Secret Sea card. Another piece of the DSP was attached to left side of the card front, then the matted DSP was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I stamped the sentiment from the More Messages stamp set (#165471) using Secret Sea ink (#165285) and cut it with the More Messages die (#165472). This was taped to the card.

Charming Day

 Hi again my friends,

The Charming Day Bundle (#166136) is currently one of my favourites. The bundle consists of the Charming Day stamp sets (#166126) and Charming Day dies (#166135).

I stamped the floral image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White. Card (#166781). The flowers were coloured with Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends (#163827) and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends (#165291). I used Pool Party Stampin’ Blends (#154894) for the leaves.

The stamped image and the extra leaves were cut with the Charming Day dies. I used Pool Party card (#124391) and Lost Lagoon card (#133686) for the leaves.

I cut 4 rectangles from the Basic White card and dry embossed them with the (retired) Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder. These were taped to the Timid Tiger card front (#165298), and then matted with Basic Black card (#121688). The Base card is also Basic White.

The floral image was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

“Happy Birthday” from the Year Of Flowers stamp sets (#165367) was stamped with Timid Tiger ink (#165278), and cut with the More Messages die (#165472). The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Brush Brass Butterflies (#158136) were added, and I added glimmer to the floral image with the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to finish the card.

Trusty Tools

 Hello friends,

I needed a card for an apprentice builder, so the Trusty Tools stamp set (#163274) and Trusty Tools dies (#162722) were perfect.

I stamped the tools with Basic Gray ink (#149165), Smoky Slate ink (#147113), Real Red ink (#147084) and Crushed Curry ink (#147087). The head of the wrench was stamped onto Smoky Slate card.

The spanner was cut from Silver Foil (#163387) and the tool box from a retired matt silver foil.

The “pegboard” was cut with a Trusty Tools die. This Basic White card (#166781) was matted with Real Red card (#106578), then attached to the Basic White base card.

“Happy Birthday” from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp sets (#164608) was stamped with Real Red ink. I cut this with the “Pencil” die.

The tool box & handle as well as the tape measure were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The tools and sentiment were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

I used Basic Black card (#121688) for the “17” (cut with an E-cutter) and this was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Etched Autumn Stamp

 Hi friends,

For today’s card, I have stamped the Etched Autumn stamp (#166082) onto the Basic White card (#166781) using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708).

Next I added colour with Blending Brushes (#153611) using Granny Apple Green ink (#147095), Crushed Curry ink (#147087), Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083) and Peach Pie ink (#163810).

The sentiment from With You In Mind stamp set (#164747) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

I used the Branching Out dies (#165775) to cut the stamped image, the sentiment and the Basic Black card (#121688). I taped the layers together and attached them to the Basic White base card.

The embellishments are from the retired Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems.

You can substitute any designer papers, instead of the stamping for the background. The possibilities are endless.

Layers Of Beauty

Hi again everyone,

A pretty card using the Layers Of Beauty Stamp set (#163514) with the co-ordinating Layers Of Beauty dies (#163518) and Layers Of Beauty Decorative Masks (#163517). These masks make colouring so easy.

I stamped the floral image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#166781). There are 5 different masks, which are numbered, so starting at number 1, and colouring with a Blending Brush (#153611), I used Fresh Freesia ink (#155611), followed by Highland Heather ink  (#147103), and Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099). The leaves were coloured with Summer Splash ink (#163809). For the first layer I very lightly blended the colour, then for the last mask I used the same colour but added extra colour for the darker finish.

This coloured image and leaves are cut with the Layers Of Beauty dies. I used Summer Splash card (#163798) and Coastal Cabana card (#131302), both backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) for the leaves.

I used a piece of Fresh Freesia Two Tone card (#166666) and tore it to show the White core. These 2 pieces were dry embossed with the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder (#165597). I used both the light & darker side. These were attached to the Basic White card front, then matted with Highland Heather card (#147010) and attached to the Basic White base card.

I cut off part of the floral image and attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves were attached.

The sentiment from Beautiful Motifs stamp set (#165198) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink. I cut the sentiment with a die from the Layers Of Beauty. However this die is too small for the sentiment, so I positioned the die and cut half of the sentiment, then re-positioned the die to cut the other half. This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hello friends,

We all have bits & pieces of Designer Series Paper, as we just might be able to use it one day. So here is an easy way of using some of these pieces.

I cut 5 pieces of the Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165159), 2cm wide and 12cm long. I cut the V’s at each end with a retired Banners Pick A Punch.

I stamped the Basic White card front (#166781) with the splotches from the Elements Of Text stamp set (#164774) using Misty Moonlight ink (#153118), stamped off. The card front was matted with Misty Moonlight card (#153086) and attached to the Basic White base card. The finished card measures 14cmx14cm.

The sentiment from Beautiful Motifs stamp set (#165198) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). A die from the Stylish Shapes (#159183) was used to cut the sentiment.

The leaves were cut from Gold Foil sheets (#132622) using a Charming Day die (#166135). The Gold Foil was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

The DSP was taped to the card and the sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves were attached.

Beautiful Butterflies

 Hi friends,

The inspiration for this card front is from the Brushed Gold cards which are no longer available.

I lightly wiped the VersaMark pad (#102283) down the top area of the Very Vanilla card (#166785), then sprinkled the Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I matted the card front with Basic Black card (#121688) and attached it to the Very Vanilla base card.

The butterflies were cut with the Beautiful Butterflies dies (#164614), using Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and Basic Black card. I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add glimmer to the black butterfly. The black butterfly was attached to the gold butterfly with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). I used Stamping Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the gold butterfly to the card.

“Thinking Of You” from Beautiful Motifs stamp set (#165198) was also Gold heat embossed. A Beautiful Butterflies die was used to cut the sentiment.

The embellishments are from the Traditional Sparkling Sequins (#165875).

Metallic Textures Rub Ons

 Hi again everyone,

The beautiful gold wreath is from the Metallic Textures Rub-Ons (#165270). There are both gold & silver in the set and they are very easy to apply to your card.

To apply these rub ons, cut the design from the sheet, peel away the backing sheet, and place the back (or silver side) to the card. Rub the image with your fingers until the image transfers to the card. Peel away the paper to reveal the completed image.

I then cut this with one of the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580).

The DSP is from the Regal Distressed Specialty Designer Series Paper (#164037) and matted with Cherry Cobbler card (#121681). A small strip of Cherry Cobbler card was attached to the card and the sentiment from the Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#166208) was attached on top  with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The flower was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083) using a stamp from the Delicate Pines (#166067). I stamped the flower twice and cut it with a Delicate Pines die (#166073). Using the same die, I cut a piece of the green All Seasons Velvet Specialty Paper (#166063). These 3 pieces were attached together with Mini Glue Dots (#103683), offsetting each one slightly.

The circle was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the flower with Mini Glue Dots. The embellishments are the Flower Accents (#165171).

Christmas Greenery Bundle

 Hello friends,

The Christmas Greenery bundle (#165873) is a favourite with the beautiful floral images. Even though it is a Christmas set, I feel the floral image I have used on today’s card can be used for any occasion.

I stamped the image from the Christmas Greenery stamp set (#165870) with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#166781). The Stampin’ Blends to colour the image are Fresh Freesia (#155518), Petunia Pop (#163828) and Granny Apple Green (#154885). I cut this image and the leaves with the Christmas Greenery dies (#165872). For the leaves I used Granny Apple Green card (#147014).

I cut the arches with the Everyday Arches dies (#164629) using Basic White card & Petunia Pop card (#163802). I added some colour on the Basic White arch using a Blending Brush (#153611) and Petunia Pop ink (#163811).

The card front was dry embossed with the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder (#165928). The edges were daubered with Petunia Pop ink, then attached to the Basic White base card. The arches were taped together and attached to the card. The green leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the coloured floral images.

“Celebrate” from the Unbounded Love stamp set (#163378) was stamped with Petunia Pop ink and cut with the More Messages die (#165472). Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to attach the sentiment.

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the flowers. The embellishments are from the  Iridescent Faceted Gems (#163368).

Lights Of Aurora Designer Series Paper

 Hello again friends,

A super easy card today as I wanted to highlight the beautiful Lights Of Aurora 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#165755).

I matted the designer paper with Silver Foil Sheet (#163387). If you are wanting to save your paper especially the specialty papers, remove the middle for another project, as you are only needing a small border to matt the DSP.

I did this, then adhered Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the back of the Silver Foil which I removed from the centre and cut the letters using the Alphabet A La Mode dies (#160750). These were attached to the card front.

“Birthday” is from the Blooming Phrases stamp set (#165523) and I stamped this with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). I fussy cut this and attached it to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The card front was attached to the Blueberry Bushel base card (#146991).

Loveliest tree

 Hello friends,

A quick & easy card today using the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) and Loveliest Tree dies (#163715).

The tree was stamped with Garden Green ink (#147089) and cut with the co-ordinating die. I used Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends (#161674) to colour the trunk of the tree.

“Happy Birthday” from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set (#164608) was also stamped with Garden Green ink, then cut with a Beautiful Butterflies die (#164614).

The card front and brown strips are from the Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165969). This was matted with Garden Green card (#108605) and attached to the Basic White base card (#166781). I daubered the edges of the tree & sentiment with Garden Green ink. These were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The small leaves were cut with the Loveliest Tree dies from Garden Green card backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

Party Banners dies

 Hello again friends,

I have layered 2 of the banners from the Party Banners dies (#165264) for today’s card. There are 14 banner dies in this set so a great range of sizes for your projects.

The banners were cut from Summer Splash card (#163798) and Fresh Freesia card (#155614). I dry embossed the Fresh freesia card with the now retired Mini Corrugated embossing folder. The banners were taped together.

“Birthday” from the Blooming Phrases stamp set (#165523) was stamped with Summer Splash ink (#163809) onto the Basic White card front (#166781). This was matted with Summer Splash card and attached to the Basic White base card.

I stamped the floral images with the Extraordinary Flora stamp set (#165243) using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). These were cut with the co-ordinating Extraordinary Flora die (#165244). The  Stampin’ Blends to colour these are Fresh Freesia (#155518), Highland Heather (#154887), Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Summer Splash (#163826), Pool Party (#154894) and Shy Shamrock (#163825). These were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Happy” was cut with a die from Words For The Season (#165797) using Summer Splash card backed with Adhesive Sheet (#153334) making it easy to attach to the card.

The embellishments are the Frosted Iridescent Dots (#165766). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was added to the flowers to give some sparkle.

Peaceful Garden

 Hi friends,

The Peaceful Garden Suit Collection (#165932) includes products for Christmas and various other occasions. The Peace On Earth stamp set (#165918) has a variety of sentiments so is a very versatile set.

I cut the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper (#165917) with the doves, using the smaller “label” die from the Peace On Earth Dies (#165924). I then cut the Blue from the Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper (#165929) with the larger die. These were taped together.

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder (#165928), then this was I matted this with Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment is from the Peace On Earth stamp set. This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I added the Silver Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056), A die from the Beautiful Butterflies (#164614) was used to cut the sentiment.

The leaves from the Peace On Earth Dies were used to cut the Silver Foil (#163387) and this was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the sentiment and the glimmer paper.

Elegant Pines Snowflakes Designer Series Paper

 Hi again,

The Elegant Pine Snowflakes 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#166066) is another DSP which has matching dies to cut some of the images. These are the Delicate Pines dies (#166073) which also co-ordinate with the Delicate Pines stamp set (#166067). I have used the DSP & dies for these pine snowflakes images.

I also cut the fine pine leaves with the dies using Shaded Spruce card (#147006) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

The circle was cut with a Spotlight On Nature die (#163580) using the Bright Copper from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772). I also used this metallic paper for the sentiment which were cut with the Words For The Season Dies (#165797).

The Traditional Wreath Embossing Folder (#165874) was used to dry embossed with the Basic White card front (#166781), then this was matted with Shaded Spruce card.

The circle was taped to the card and I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the larger snowflake. Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the 2 smaller die cut pieces to the centre of the snowflake. The small pine leaves were attached - these are backed with Adhesive Sheet.

The embellishments are from the retired Earth Tones Shimmer Gems.
