Fragrant Layers Sympathy card

 Hello everyone,

I seem to be using the Fragrant Layers Bundle (#167155) a lot lately and today I have made a variation of one from a few days ago but for a Sympathy card.

This is a larger card as I used a full A4 sheet of Basic White card (#166781) and folded it in half. I dry embossed the card front with the So Swirly Embossing Folder (#163791). I cut 4 pieces with a die from the Natures Symphony dies (#166925) for the woodgrain pieces and these were taped to the card front.

The flowers were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Gold powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The inside of the flowers were stamped with Bubble Bath ink (#161664) and the leaves with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). Lemon Lolly ink (#161666) was used for the flower centres.

The sentiment is from a retired stamp set (Painted Glass) and this was also gold heat embossed. A die from the Everyday Arches (#164629) was used to cut this. The retired Cross Of Hope dies was used for the cross using Gold Foil (#132622).

The flowers & sentiment were all attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Fragrant Layers Bundle

 Hi crafty friends,

The Fragrant Layers Bundle (#167155) has been used for this card today. The bundle consists of the Fragrant Layers stamp set (#167150) and the Fragrant Layers dies (#167154).

(This was a bit hard to photograph with the shiny specialty paper, but looks lovely in real life.)

I stamped the floral image with Secret Sea ink (#165285) onto Basic White card (#166781). This stamp set is a Two-Step set which allows you to stamp the outline and the solid inside images separately. For the flowers I used Strawberry Slush ink (#165286), Summer Splash ink (#163808) for the leaves and Darling Duckling ink (#165277) for the flower centres.

The Tungsten Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772) was cut with a Fragrant Layers die, then I dry embossed this with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Powder (#161600). This was placed over the stamped floral image, then matted with Strawberry Slush card (#165297). The base card is Basic White.

“Just A Note” is from the same stamp set and stamped with Strawberry Slush ink. The die to cut the sentiment is also from the Fragrant Layers dies. I attached this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The embellishments are from the retired Two-Tone Sparkle Gems.

Fragrant Layers Bundle

 Hi friends,

These flowers & leaves are from the Fragrant Layers Bundle (#167155). The dies don’t actually cut these flowers so I have fussy cut them. There are a variety of dies which cut different parts of the flowers.

The flowers from the Fragrant Layers stamp set (#167150) were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (#132708) onto Very Vanilla card (#166785). The Stampin’ Blends to colour the image are Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Pretty In Pink (#163824), Bubble Bath (#161675), Strawberry Slush (#165290), Daffodil Delight (#154883) and Lemon Lime Twist (#161682).

The Very Vanilla card front was dry embossed with the Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder (#165170), the matted with Mossy Meadow card (#133683). The card base is Very Vanilla.

I used a die from the Natures Symphony dies (#166926) and this cut the rows of dots from the strip of Nature Walk Designer Series Paper (#166912). The Gold Foil (#132622) was also cut with a die from Natures Symphony. These 2 pieces were taped to the card.

The detailed die cut leaves were cut with the Fragrant Layers dies (#167154) using Mossy Meadow card and Old Olive card (#106576). The flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The sentiment is from the Friendly Foliage stamp set (#167021) and I stamped this with Strawberry Slush ink (#165286). The Three Banner Punch (#167050) was used to punch the sentiment and Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to attach it to the card.

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was added to the flowers and the embellishments are Low Profile Sparkle Dots (#166157).

Fragrant Layers Bundle

 Hi friends,

The Fragrant Layers stamp set (#167150) is a Two-Step stamp set, which allows you to use different colours on the one image.

I stamped the floral image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#166781). For the flowers I stamped with Poppy Parade ink (#147050) and the leaves with Summer Splash ink (#163809). For the lighter leaves I stamped off before stamping on the image. The flower centres were stamped with Lemon Lolly ink (#161666).

I cut the outline of the floral image with a die from the Fragrant layers dies (#167154) using Poppy Parade card (#121694). I placed this on top of the stamped image. The Poppy Parade card was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

For the card front I used the Mixed Up Patterns Mix-In Designer Series Paper (#166992). This was attached to the Basic Black card (#121688) then attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment is also from the Fragrant Layers stamp set. I stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) and added Black Powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165679). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

I cut the sentiment with a Fragrant Layers die. This die cuts 2 pieces at the one time - the inside for the sentiment and the outside “frame”. I cut a 2nd piece with Poppy Parade card and used the frame around the sentiment. The cute ladybugs are from the Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes (#167005).

Fragrant Layers

 Happy New Year to everyone,

I hope 2026 goes a bit slower as it doesn’t feel that long ago that we welcomed in 2025.

There will be new products available from 6th January from both the new Mini Catalogue and Online Exclusives. Here I have used the Fragrant Layers Bundle (#167155) which will be available from the Online Exclusives.

Firstly I stamped the floral image from the Fragrant Layers stamp set (#167150) onto Basic White card (#166781) with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). This stamp set is a Two-Step set, so the flowers were stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052), the leaves with Summer Splash ink (#163809) and the flower centres with Lemon Lolly ink (#161666). I then cut the outline floral image with a Fragrant Layers die (#167154) from Flirty Flamingo card (#141421). This card was dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (#161600). This was attached over the stamped image, then attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment is also from this stamp set and stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink. This was cut with a Fragrant Layers die. As this die cuts the inside & outside in separate pieces, I used Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back making it easy to attach the fine outside piece to the card.

I added glimmer to the floral image with the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) and the embellishments are from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743).
