Embossing On Vellum

 Hello again,

I love the look of dry embossing on Vellum (#106584) which I have done on the background of this card.

I used the beautiful Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder (now retired from Sale-a-bration) to dry emboss the Vellum. When attaching this to the Coastal Cabana card (#131302), I only used adhesive on areas that would be covered, as adhesive can be seen through the vellum.

I stamped the floral image from the Adoring Hearts stamp set (#162563) with VersaMark (#102283) onto Coastal Cabana card. I added White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This card and the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) were cut with the Thoughtful Expressions Dies (#162821). These pieces were taped together, then I attached them to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I wrapped the Gold ribbon from the Silver & Gold Trim Combo pack (#161633) around the card front, then attached the card front to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set (#162283) was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097). This was cut with an Autumn Leaves die (#162185) and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The cute little Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) were added to finish the card.

Adoring Hearts stamp set

Hello again friends,

These flowers are from the Adoring Hearts stamp set (#162563) and coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

The flowers were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). The Stampin’ Blends used are Lemon Lolly (#161673) and Parakeet Party (#159220). The flowers were fussy cut.

The Nature’s Sweetness 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162616) was matted with the Lemon Lolly card (#161673). I used a die from the Beautiful Balloons die (#161456) on the strip of Lemon Lolly card. I threaded the Lemon Lolly from the Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack (#161635) through the slots and wrapped it around the card front, then attached it to the Basic White base card.

“Happy Birthday” from the Garden Meadow stamp set (#162736) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and cut with a Sending die (#159271). This was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The birds are from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the flowers.

The flowers were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Adoring Hearts

Hi again,

Most of the designer papers in Sale-a-bration co-ordinate with stamp sets or bundles in the Mini catalogue. Some images can be cut with dies which is an added bonus. On this card I have used the Most Adored 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162976) from Sale-a-bration and the flower is from the Adoring Hearts stamp set (#162563).

I stamped the flower onto Basic White card (#159228) with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097). This was fussy cut (there isn’t a die for this). I cut the banner for the sentiment with a die from the Adoring Hearts dies which is part of the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder (#162569). I stamped “Just For You” from the Adoring Hearts stamp set (#162563) also with Coastal Cabana ink.

I matted both designs of the Most Adored Specialty DSP with Coastal Cabana card (#131302). I wrapped 2 ribbons around the smaller card front. These are the Gold from the Silver & Gold trim Combo (#161633) and the Gold & Vanilla Satin Edged Ribbon (#159555).

The flower and sentiment were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The dragonflies from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743) were attached to the card. The base card is Basic White. I added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the stamped flowers and leaves.
