Wildly Happy

Hello friends,

I have a box of unused stamped images and bits & pieces which are left overs from various projects, so they come in very handy when I need a quick & easy card like this one.

I attached the pre-cut Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (#152493) to the Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) which I cut the same size. This was then matted with the Basic Black card (#121688) and then attached to the Basic White card (#159228).

The elephants are from Wildly Happy stamp set (#149408) and the sentiment is from the Borders Abound stamp set (#152627). Both were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). I fussy cut the elephants and cut the sentiment with a Tasteful Labels Die (#152886). I daubered the sentiment with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). I added a small amount of colour to the elephants with the Smokey Slate Stampin’ Blends (#154904), then added glimmer with the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897).

Both the sentiment and elephants were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaf was cut with a Forever Flourishing Die (#152714) from Pear Pizzaz card (#131290). This was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Borders Abound

Hi again,

This gorgeous designer series paper is from the Flowers For Every Season 6”x6” DSP (#152486). This pack includes floral images for each of the 4 seasons on one side and more subtle designs on the reverse, so a very versatile pack for the whole year.

I stamped the floral border image from the Borders Abound stamp set (#152627) using VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), which needs to be set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This stamp set has 4 border images, again 1 for each season. I coloured these flowers with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends (#154958), Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883) and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends (#154830).

We all like to save when we can, so when I use some of the specialty papers, like the Gold Foil (#132622) on this card, I remove the middle section (as shown below) and then can use that for another project, so no waste.

I attached the Designer Series Paper to Whisper White card (#106549) with the stamped border. I wrapped the 5/8” Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (#146912) around this card front. Before attaching the ribbon I coloured this white ribbon by sponging with Poppy Parade ink (#147050). The cardfront was then attached to the Gold Foil, then this was attached to the Poppy Parade base card (#121694).

“Best Wishes” is also from the Borders Abound stamp set and Gold embossed. I cut the ends of the sentiment and the Gold Foil under the sentiment using the Banners Pick A Punch (#153608). I used some of the Gold Trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack (#152475) and attached it under the sentiment and the sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Wonderful Gems (#153536) were added to the card & sentiment.

Borders Abound

Hello friends,

I have stamped the Whisper White card (#106549) using the Borders Abound stamp set (#152627) which have 4 different borders, representing each season. I have used the winter border for this Christmas card, even though we don't have winter at Christmas time in Australia.

I stamped these borders using the Stamparatus (#148187) by moving the plate one hinge at a time to stamp. I used Seaside Spray ink (#150085). This was attached to the Pacific Point card (#116202). I dry embossed another piece of Whisper White card with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder (#153577), then attached the triangular piece of Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper (#153512). I wrapped the Seaside Spray 1/4” Metallic Ribbon (#150446) around the card front, then attached this to the Whisper White base card. The sentiment is from the Gift Wrapped stamp set (#153432) and stamped with Pacific Point ink (#147098). The sentiment and the Pacific Point card were cut with Tasteful Labels Dies (#152886) and then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). To finish the card I added the sequins from the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment (#149498) using the Fine Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Borders Abound stamp set

Hello everyone,

I stamped the background of the Whisper White card (#106549) using 2 images from the Borders Abound stamp set (#c152627).

To stamp the background I used the “Hinge-Step technique” using the Stamparatus (#148187). I stamped the first image using Crumb Cake ink (#147116) then moved the plate down one hinge, re-stamped, then continued to the bottom of the card. Then I set up the 2nd image in between these images to fill in the gaps and using the hinge- step technique till all gaps were filled. I attached the card front to Pretty Peacock card (#150886). I cut a circle with the Stitched Shapes Die (#152323) from Pretty Peacock card, the embossed this with the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder (#152700). I attached one of the Gold Hoops Embellishments (#152474) to the Pretty Peacock circle. I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach the hoop, where the other elements would cover them. The sentiment is from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set (#c149306) and also cut with a Stitched Shapes Die. I used Pretty Peacock ink (#150083). The bird from the Birds & Branches stamp set (#p152570) was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and Crumb Cake ink. The bird was cut with a die from the Birds & More Dies (#152721). The dies for the leaves are from the Forever Flourishing Dies (#152714) and I used Pretty Peacock card and Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). The ribbon to make the bow is the Very Vanilla/Gold 1/4” Pleated Ribbon from the Boho Indigo Product Medley (#153132) and was attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Gold Glitter Enamel Dots (#152155) were attached to the sentiment and one for the birds eye.
