Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hi again friends,

Another quick & easy Christmas card, this time using the Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165990).

I matted the Striped DSP with Real Red card (#106578), then attached the DSP with the stars. I wrapped the Real Red Shiny Ribbon (#165876) around the card and attached the card front to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The trees from the same DSP and the Real Red Circle were cut with the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183). These were taped together. The red circle was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment is from the Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#166208). This was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

An easy card and no stamping.

Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hello again,

I usually go for the traditional Christmas colours but I do like this Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165990).

I attached the 2 pieces of DSP to a piece of  Gold from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772), then this was attached to the Basic White Base card. (#166781).

The label is from the Foiled Frames & Labels Ephemera Pack (#165616). The “Season’s Greetings” is from the Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#166208). These sentiments have an adhesive backing, so just peel off  the back and adhere to the label. The label was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I added the Gold sequins from the Traditional Sparkling Sequins (#165875).

Such an easy but elegant card.

Party Alphabet dies

 Hi friends,

I had a lovely relaxing day today with fellow demonstrators at a “Craft & Connect” gathering. It is always so much fun connecting with other demonstrators,

This card is one of the cards we made today.

The J & Y were cut with the Party Alphabet dies (#165263) from Real Red card (#106578).

I punched 5 circles from the Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165990) using the 2” Circle Punch (#133782). I also punched one from Real Red card. I folded each of the circles from the DSP in half then joined them together, then attached them to the Real Red circle.

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder (#164695) and matted with Real Red card. I wrapped the retired Open Weave Trim around the card front.

I attached the letters with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and taped the circles. I chose the Traditional Sparkling Sequins (#165875) for the embellishments.

Gift card holder

 Hello friends,

Here is a quick & easy card great for giving gift cards, great for all occasions.

I attached the Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165990) to a piece of Thick Basic White card (#159230).

I cut the Basic Black card (#121688) 24cm x 7cm and scored at 12cm. I punched a half circle in the top of another piece of the DSP and taped it to the card, leaving the top so you can insert the gift cards. I added a piece of Basic White card (#166781) to the left side.

“Happy Birthday” from the Layered Thoughts stamp set (#165346) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Gold Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678), and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I used a Branching Out die (#165775) to cut the greeting and attached it to the card.

Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hi again friends,

Sorry for my absence for the last few days but have been unwell, so this morning I finally spent a short time in the craft room. So here is an easy but elegant Christmas card using the Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165990).

I cut the trees from the DSP using a Stylish Shapes Die (#159183), then with a larger die cut the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622).

The card front is from the Silent Snowfall Specialty Designer Series Paper (#166062). This paper is already embossed. This was matted with Gold Foil Sheet.

I wrapped the Twine from the Black & White & Gold Twine (#166005) around the Large Gold Hoop (#166004) then attached it to the back of the cardfront. This was then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The 2 circles were attached together then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment is from the Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#166208) and attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The Flower Accents (#165171) were added to the card.

Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hi friends,

The beautiful Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165990) has a range of designs in Black, Gold & White. I have used 2 of the designs on this card.

I attached 3 strips of the DSP to a piece of Basic White card (#166781), then matted this with Real Red card (#106578) and attached it to the Basic White base card.

I cut the trees, also from the DSP, with the Bauble die from the Bauble Blooms dies (#166095). Another die was used to cut the Gold Foil (#132622) for the top of the bauble. This was taped to the bauble. I also cut another bauble in Basic Black card (#121688) and taped it to the bauble with the trees, for a shadow effect. This was then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Merry Christmas” was cut from Real Red card (#106578) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). Just remove the backing and attach the words to the card.

Ornamental Christmas Bundle

 Welcome again my friends,

I have used the Ornamental Christmas Bundle (#166001) as well as the Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165990) for this Christmas card. These products are now available from the Online Exclusives.

The Designer Paper consists of contemporary black, white & gold with modern design patterns with Gold foil on one side. It’s sometimes hard to decide which side of the paper to use with so many beautiful designs. I chose the black & white trees for the card front. This was attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I attached one of the Large Gold Hoops (#166004) to the card front with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

“Tis The Season” from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set (#165991) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I added Gold Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678). The Heat Tool (#129056) was used to set the powder. This was cut with a die from the Ornamental Christmas dies (#166000). I used one of the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folders (#165597) to embossing part of the sentiment. This was taped to the card.

The Christmas trees are also from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set and Gold embossed. The co-ordinating Ornamental Christmas dies cut the trees. These were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The star is also cut with one of the dies and attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Traditional Sparkling Sequins (#165875) were added to the card.
