A super easy card today using the beautiful Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder which comes with the Bloom Dies (#155989). This embossing folder can be used with or without the dies, so here I have just used the folder and haven’t even used the stamp set to get this effect.
To achieve this, I have inked the inside of the front of the embossing folder using Pale Papaya ink (#155670). I placed a piece of Basic White card (#159228) on the inside un-inked side of the embossing folder and closed the folder gently, so not to move the card, then rolled through the Cut & Emboss Machine (#149653) as normal. This transfers the ink onto the card as well as embossing. Just wash off the ink off the folder after use.
I attached the card front to Pumpkin Pie card (#108601) as this co-ordinates well with the Pale Papaya ink. The base card is also Basic White.
I stamped the sentiment from Vine Design stamp set (#154488) with Pumpkin Pie ink (#147086) and cut it with the Many Messages Die (#154422).
The gold trim is from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766). This trim also comes with Silver in the pack. I daubered around the sentiment with Pumpkin Pie ink and attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).
I added some clear raindrop shapes and round shapes from the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials (#155567) to the finished card.
You can try this technique with any embossing folder and see what effect you can achieve. It will also give a different look if you ink the other side of the folder, so why not experiment.
Have a great day.
