Fancy Borders Bundle

 Hello friends,

I have used the Fancy Borders Bundle (#165381) for this card. The bundle consists of the Fancy Borders stamp set (#165379) and the Fancy Borders dies (#165380).

I stamped the leafy borders with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095). “Happy Birthday” from the With You In Mind stamp set (#164747) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I added the Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678), which of course was set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

I used one of the Fancy Borders dies to cut the top & bottom of the Basic White card (#159228). This was attached to the Wild Wheat card (#161734), then attached to the Basic White base card.

The Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) were added to the card.

A quick & easy card.

Memorable Blooms

 Hello again friends,

As I write this, the wind is starting to build as the cyclone comes closer to the Queensland coast and is expected to cross the coast tomorrow night. My craft room is the most exposed so we have boarded the windows and doors, just to be on the safe side. It is very rare for a cyclone to come this far south, so we are hoping it isn't too vicious. I hope everyone in the affected areas will be safe.

I have used the Baby Wipes technique again on today’s card. Check yesterdays blog for all the details on this technique. I usually stamp a variety of images when I use this technique so I don't waste the ink I have used to create the “ink pad”.

I stamped the image from the Memorable Blooms stamp set (#164816) onto Basic White card (#159228). This was cut with a Textured Notes Die (#165555).

The Real Red card (#106578) was dry embossed with the Modern Herringbone Embossing Folder (#164908) and attached to the Basic White base card. The stamped image was attached to the Real Red card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Congratulations” from the Translucent Florals stamp set (#162243) was stamped with Real Red ink (#147084). The sentiment and the Azure Afternoon card (#161728) were also cut with Textured Notes dies. These were taped to the card. The Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels (#158987) were added to the card.

Baby Wipes Technique

 Hi friends,

Today’s technique is the Baby Wipes Technique to give the lovely rainbow effect on the small butterfly & the Lace image.

For this technique you need alcohol free wipes. I used a double layer and placed it in a spare stamp case. Then using ink refills I squeezed the ink in strips along the wipes as shown below. I used 5 re-inkers - Azure Afternoon (#161668), Real Red (#103287), Coastal Cabana (#131164), Peach Pie (#163819) and Daffodil Delight (#119672) and repeated the colours. This is now your ink pad.

I used the lace image from Chantilly Lace stamp set (#163683) and stamped this onto Basic White card (#159228). I cut this card and the Azure Afternoon card (#161728) with the new Textured Notes dies (#165555). I also dry embossed the Basic White card with the (retired) Softly Sophisticated embossing folder. The 2 cards were taped together then attached to the Basic White Base card.

I stamped the larger butterfly from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set (#163490) with Azure Afternoon ink (#161663) onto Azure Afternoon card. The smaller butterfly from the same set was stamped with the Baby Wipes “ink pad”. Both butterflies were cut with the Sketched Butterflies dies (#163491).

“Happy Birthday” from the Adventurous Sky stamp set (#163439) was stamped with Azure Afternoon ink, then cut with a (retired) Happy Little Things die.

The blue butterfly & sentiment were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The small butterfly was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The Iridescent Faceted Gems (#163368) were added to the card.

There are now new products & kits available in the online exclusives, including the Textured Notes dies,  so make sure you check them out -

Spotlight On Nature Bundle

 Hi friends,

The Spotlight On Nature Bundle (#163581) consists of the Spotlight On Nature stamp set (#163579) and the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580). The dies are a variety of circles with decorative edges and don’t cut the images in the stamp set. This makes the dies very versatile for use with such a variety of stamps, designer papers etc.

I stamped the floral image and butterfly with Tuxedo Black ink (#132708) and the leaf image with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111). The flowers were coloured with Pretty In Pink Stampin’ Blends (#163824) and the leaves with Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends (#154902). I didn’t add any extra colour to the leaves stamped with Mossy Meadow ink. The butterfly was coloured with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. The butteryfl, leaves and floral image were fussy cut.

“Just For You” from So Sincere stamp set (#162283) was stamped with Pretty In Pink ink (#163807). The sentiment, Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) and Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) were all cut with the Spotlight On Nature dies.

The base card is from the Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes (#162177). The 2 larger circles were taped together the taped to the card base. The floral image & butterfly were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The other leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). With the Mossy Meadow leaves I cut the 3 leaves on the right & top off the other leaves and added them separately.

The embellishments are from the Adhesive-Backed Dappled Dots (#163353). As usual I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add glimmer to the flowers & butterfly.

You Are Remarkable stamp set

 Hello again friends,

I have used the flower from the You Are Remarkable stamp set (#165445) again on today’s card. This stamp set doesn't include dies but there are many dies which can be used to cut various shapes like I have done here.

I stamped the floral image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). As this stamp set is a 2 Step stamping stamp set, I then stamped the leaves with Lost Lagoon ink (#161678). I cut this with the diamond shaped die from the Linked Together dies (#164808).

With another die from Linked Together, I cut the Silver Foil Sheet (#163387) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). This was attached to the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393) and the DSP was matted with Real Red card (#106578). The base card is Basic White.

I then stamped the flower again and fussy cut this. I coloured it with Real Red Stampin’ Blends (#154899) and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883), then attached it on top of the flower using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) to add dimension. The diamond shape was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Happy Birthday” from the Simply Said stamp set (#163756) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Silver Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). A die from the Heart Shaped dies from Sale-a-bration  was used to cut the sentiment. (Unfortunately Sale-a-bration is now over). The sentiment was also attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish the card I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the flower and added the dragonflies from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743).

Masking Technique

 Hello crafty friends,

I have used the Masking Technique to stamp the flowers on this card. This allows you to stamp several images without stamping over them and creating a layered effect.

Firstly I stamped the image from the You Are Remarkable stamp set (#165445) onto a piece of photocopy paper and fussy cut around the image, cutting right on the line and not leaving a margin as I would normally do when fussy cutting. This is used for the mask.

Next I stamped the image onto the Basic White card front (#159228) with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (#132708). I stamped this in the middle of the card. Then I covered this with the mask and stamped another flower. I continued this till the card front was stamped. You may need a second mask, depending on the image. I needed 2 for this. When you have 2 or more images stamped you may require more masks to cover the stamped images.

This stamp set is a 2 Step stamp which allows you to stamp the outline then stamp to colour the flowers & leaves in the colours you desire. Because of the masking I found it easier for this card to colour with Stampin’ Blends. The colours used are Lost Lagoon (#161680), Lemon Lolly (#161673), Bubble Bath (#161675), Fresh Freesia (#155518), Balmy Blue (#154830), Flirty Flamingo (#154884) and Ivory (#154922),

I added Glimmer to the flowers with the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).

The card front was matted with Basic Black card (#121688). I wrapped the Silver & White Sheer Ribbon (#162149) around the card front then attached it to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment is from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set (#161290), stamped with Highland Heather ink (#147103) and cut with a Happy Hibiscus die (#164879). This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The cute Tiny Bee Trinkets (#164714) were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Heirloom Arrangements Kit

 Hello stamping friends,

The beautiful Heirloom Arrangements Kit (#165007) is an all inclusive kit with detailed vintage designs. You can make 8 cards with different designs as shown on the instructions or you can be as creative as you wish and add or subtract elements and make more than the 8 cards by using extra card bases. I will be using some of these elements on scrapbook pages too.

The kit includes a stamp set, clear stamp block, Pecan Pie Stampin’ Spot, instructions, 8 printed envelopes, 8 card bases, pre-cut elements. specialty printed vellum and adhesive.

The card bases have a design on them. I stamped some butterflies from the stamp set included in the kit. I used Pretty In Pink ink (#163807), using the stamping off method for a subtle image. The elements were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“For You” was stamped with Pecan Pie ink, using the Stampin’ Spot included in the kit. The ribbon for the bow is the Gold from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack (#161633). This was attached with a Mini Glue Dot. The cute Tiny Bee Trinkets (#164714) were also attached with Mini Glue Dots.

Floral Delight Designer Series Paper

 Hello friends,

The Floral Delight 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#164700) has a beautiful range of bright & cheerful florals with more subtle designs on the reverse side. I have used one of the designs for the card front.

I folded the top corner over to reveal the reverse side of the DSP. I used a Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to adhere this in place. This was matted with Old Olive card (#106576) and attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The Hexagons were cut with the Meant To Bee dies (#166582) using Old Olive card backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). These were attached to the card front.

“Happy Birthday” was cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594). For the background of the sentiment I used Pecan Pie card (#161726) and Daffodil Delight card (#121680), also backed with Adhesive Sheet, for the words. These were adhered together then attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

I stamped the butterfly from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set (#163490) with Pecan Pie ink (#161665) onto Crushed Curry card (#131288). This was cut with a Sketched Butterflies Die (#163491) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Faux Glass Dots (#164060) were added to the card.

Year Of Flowers Bundle

 Hello & welcome,

There are a large range of new products available on the Online Exclusives from 4th March, including the Year Of Flowers Bundle (#165375) consisting of the Year Of Flowers stamp set (#165367) and the Year Of Flowers dies (#165374), and used for todays card.

There are 12 different flowers in this set, each including a month of the year next to the flower. However when these are cut with the dies, the month is removed, which is great if you don't want the month on it. The flowers were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The Stampin’ Blends to colour the images are Daffodil Delight (#154883), Azure Afternoon (#161672) and Granny Apple Green (#154885). These were cut with the co-ordinating dies.

The leaves were cut with dies from the same set using Granny Apple Green card (#147014) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The 4 pieces of Daffodil Delight card (#121680) was also cut with a die from the Year Of Flowers.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) with the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder (#165559) and matted it with Daffodil Delight card. This was taped to the Basic White base card.

The Daffodil Delight die cuts were taped to the card front, the leaves were attached (they have adhesive backing) and the flowers were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

I cut the small banner for the sentiment with a Countryside Corners die (#161471), then I stamped “Best Wishes” from the Sentimental Park stamp set (#160561). Normally I would stamp first then cut, but as this is a solid die you can’t see if the sentiment is lined up correctly. So I cut first then stamped. This is also easy to get right with these photopolymer stamps which you can see through.

The sentiment was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the flowers and added the Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels (#158987).

Fancy Borders Bundle

 Hi again friends,

The Fancy Borders Bundle (#165381) is a sneak peek from the upcoming new Online Exclusives available from 4th March. The bundle includes the Fancy Borders stamp set (#165379) and Fancy Borders dies (#165380.

I stamped the image of leaves from the Fancy Borders stamp set using Pretty Peacock ink (#150083). I turned the stamp around and re-stamped it leaving a space for the ribbon & sentiment. I coloured the leaves with Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends (#161680). This was then cut with one of the Fancy Borders dies. I cut the Lost Lagoon card (#133686) with another die from this set. These were then taped to the Pretty Peacock card ($150886).

The Wild Wheat Rustic Striped Ribbon (#164061) is on the Last Chance list, so available while stocks last. This was wrapped around the card front, then the card front was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

“Celebrate” was cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594) using Pretty Peacock card and Gold from the Silver & Gold Adhesive-Backed Glimmer Paper (#162288). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment, and the Flat Adhesive-backed Pearls (#160449) were added to finish the card.

Textured Notes Bundle

 Hi friends,

The Textured Notes Bundle (#165556) consists of the Textured Notes stamp set (#165548) and the Textured Notes dies (#165555). The set of 8 dies are all rectangular with a lovely design around the outside so these will be versatile for a range of cards and projects.

I cut 4 cms from the front right side of the Basic White base card (#159228).The 2 pieces of DSP are from the Regal Distressed Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper (#164037). I matted the White & Gold DSP with Pretty Peacock card (#150886) and attached it to the card front. The other piece of DSP was attached to the “inside” of the card. I also added 2 pieces of Basic White card as shown below.

I stamped the leaves from the Textured Notes stamp set with Lost Lagoon ink (#161678). This card and the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) were cut with the dies.

“With Sympathy” from the Unbounded Love stamp set (#163378) was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink (#150083) and this was also cut with one of the dies. There isn't a die this size so I cut the sentiment then repositioned the die to recut it smaller. Very easy to get just the right size.

The stamped image was taped to the gold foil sheet, then this was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Regal Foiled Adhesive Backed Dots (#164038) were added to the card front.

Mixed Florals

 Hi friends,

This floral image is from the Mixed Florals stamp set (#164639). It was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228).

The stamped image was coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Summer Splash (#163826), Shy Shamrock (#163825) and Daffodil Delight (#154883). I cut this with an Everyday Arches Die (#164629). Using the same die I cut a piece of Flirty Flamingo card (#141421) and attached it to the bottom of the stamped image. The Summer Splash Bordered Ribbon (#163786) was wrapped around the arches.

The 2024-2026 In-Color Designer Series Paper (#163777) was attached to the Basic White card base. The arches were attached on top.

“Best Wishes” is from the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#164862). This pack has a great range of sentiments for all occasions with Black on White sentiments as well as White on Black sentiments. All the sentiments are laser cut so you just need to release them from the card and it is ready to attach to your project.

The Iridescent Faceted Gems (#163368) were added to the card.
