Pretty Poinsettia Bundle

 Hello friends,

Here is my first Christmas card for the year. I have used the Pretty Poinsettia Bundle (#168147) for the beautiful flower and sentiment.

The Pretty Poinsettia Dies (#168146) are impressions dies which gives extra embossing. I used Poppy Parade card (#121694) for the flower and Peaceful Pine card (#167692) for the leaves. I attached each of these layers with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The centre of the flower was cut from Gold Foil (#132622) and this was attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

“Christmas Joy” from the Pretty Poinsettia stamp set (#168140) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Powder was used from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with a Stylish Shapes Die (#159183). Another circle was cut with a Spotlight On Nature die (#163580) and I attached the poinsettia to that with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I dry embossed a piece of Basic White card (#166781) with the Swirls Of Magic Embossing Folder (#168179) and matted this with Peaceful Pine card. The DSP is from A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper (#168223) and attached to the embossed card. The card front was attached to the Basic White base card.

The circle with the flower was taped to the card and the sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Wild Bunch stamp set

 Hi again,

I had a cow from the Wild Bunch stamp set (#167987) left from yesterday’s card so I couldn't resist making another card with this cute set.

The image was stamped with Basic Black Hybrid stamp pad (#166648) onto Basic White card (#166781), then the circle was cut with a die from the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580). This was attached to another circle cut with the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183) from Pecan Pie card (#161726).

The cow was coloured with the following Stampin’ Blends - Pecan Pie (#161674), Golden Glow (#167682), Bubble Bath (#161675) and Ivory (#154922).

The 2 pieces of DSP are from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393). These were attached to the Basic White card front which was dry embossed with the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing folder (#167120). This was matted with Pecan Pie card and attached to the Basic White base card.

“Hi Friend” is from the Wild Bunch stamp set and stamped with Pecan Pie ink (#161665). The sentiment and Pecan Pie card were punched with the Three Banners punch (#167050). The sentiment & circle were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Sunset Coast Dies

 Hi again my friends,

I am making a variation from yesterday’s card using the circular “rays” die from the Sunset Coast dies (#167780).

The “rays” were cut from Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) and the lighthouse was cut from Silver Foil (#163387). For the lighthouse I also used a die from the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580) to cut the circle but then cut away the top part of the circle, leaving just the “rocks” area and lighthouse.

These die cuts were attached to the Splash Of Sparkles Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167200). The lighthouse was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The card front was matted with Blueberry Bushel card and attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

“Happy Birthday” from the Cutest Crew stamp set (#167146) was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138) and cut with a Spotlight On Natures die.

The net, shells & starfish are also cut with dies from the Sunset Coast dies. The net was cut from Crumb Cake card (#121685) backed with Adhesive Sheet. I cut this in half and attached it to the card. The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The silver foil shells & starfish were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Paper Pumpkin Alternative

 Hi again friends,

I have made a Paper Pumpkin alternate card today, pairing it with the Relaxing Waterside bundle (#167928), which work well together for a masculine card.

I cut one of the card bases from the April Paper Pumpkin and matted it with Pretty Peacock card (#150886) and attached it to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I cut Pretty Peacock card with one of the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580) and the scene from the Paper Pumpkin was attached to this.

The chair from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set (#167922) was stamped with Pecan Pie ink (#161665) and I coloured it with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends (#154882). The grass from the same set was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink (#150083), as was the sentiment which is from the Paper Pumpkin stamp set.

The Relaxing Waterside dies (#167927) were used to cut the chair and grass. A Spotlight On Nature dies was used to cut the sentiment.

The Pretty Peacock circle, chair, sentiment and grass were all attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) & Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add some glimmer to the chair.

With the Paper Pumpkin kits you can make all the cards as shown in the kit or you can make your own designs. It’s fun whichever way you choose.

Notes Of Spring Stamp Set

 Hello stamping friends,

Each month Stampin’ Up! has a new Product Of The Month which in Australia you can purchase for $9 with a $125 order. These products will carry over if they are still in stock. I have used 2 products of the month on today’s card - Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper (#167977) and the Notes Of Spring Stamp Set (#167979).

I stamped the outline of deer from the stamp set with Pecan Pie ink (#161665). Then I stamped the inside with Pecan Pie ink but stamped off first to get the lighter colour.

I then stamped the deer onto Masking paper (#155480) and cut around the image. I placed this over the original stamped image and stamped the grass on either side of the deer. Using the masking method it avoids stamping over the deer and gives the illusion of the deer in front of the grass. I then stamped the smaller grass image at the front and sides. I used Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) for the grass. The deer was then cut with a Spotlight On Nature die (#163580).

The Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper was used for the card front and attached to the Basic White Base card (#166781).

I used one of the dies from the Nature’s Symphony dies (#166925) to cut the rows of dots along the bottom of the Vellum Specialty Paper (#167099). Another die was used to cut the “woodgrain” piece from Gold Foil (#132622).

“Happiest Birthday Wishes” is from the Notes Of Spring stamp set and I stamped this with Pecan Pie ink. This was cut with a (retired) Beautiful Butterflies die.

The Granny Apple Green card (#147014), backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) was used for the leaves cut with the Delicate Wishes dies (#167505).

When using Vellum, I add all the pieces to the vellum before attaching the vellum to the card. Then I attach the vellum using adhesive only in the areas that won’t be visible. The leaves were attached with the adhesive sheet, I taped the gold woodgrain, the Circle was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the sentiment with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and a Mini Glue Dot (#103683). The embellishments are the Natural Matte Dots (#167510).

Charming Day

 Hi again everyone,

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas as I did. We had Christmas Day with all the family and was very relaxing. I am back home after a couple of days away so am back in the craft room today.

There are a number of products recently placed on the Last Chance list and one of them is the Charming Day Bundle (#166136). These Last Chance products are available while stocks last and many at discounted prices.

The floral image from the Charming Day stamp set (#166126) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#166781). This was coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Bubble Bath (#161675), Pretty In Pink (#163824), Flirty Flamingo (#154884) and Pool Party (#154894). This was then cut with the co-ordinating die from the Charming Day dies (#166135).

I cut the circle with a Spotlight On Nature die (#163580) from Pretty In Pink card (#163794). I attached one of the small Lovely Doilies (#167104) on top of the circle. This pack of doilies are pink and red and the reverse is white, and there are 2 sizes.

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing folder (#163789), then matted with Pretty In Pink card. The base card is also Basic White.

The circle was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). “Congratulations” from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) was stamped with Pretty In Pink ink (#163807) and cut with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183). This was attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the floral image with Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430) and Mini Glue Dots.

I added shimmer to the floral image using the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897). The embellishments are Pearlized Faceted Circles (#166978).

Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hello friends,

I have used 3 different “autumn” products on this card.

The card front is Basic White (#166781). I stamped the Etched Autumn background stamp (#166082) with VersaMark (#102283) and added the White Powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165679), which I set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This card was matted with Cajun Craze card (#121683) then attached to the Basic White base card.

The 2 designs of DSP are from the Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165969). I matted the Leafy DSP with Cajun Craze card. This and the other piece of DSP were taped to the card.

I stamped the leaf from the Artistic Leaves stamp set (#166162) with Cajun Craze ink (#147085) and Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). A Spotlight On Nature die (#163580) was used to cut the circle. This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#04430).

“Happy Birthday” from Beautiful Butterflies stamp set (#164608) was stamped with Cajun Craze ink and cut with a Textured Notes die (#165555).

Elegant Pines Snowflakes Designer Series Paper

 Hi again,

The Elegant Pine Snowflakes 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#166066) is another DSP which has matching dies to cut some of the images. These are the Delicate Pines dies (#166073) which also co-ordinate with the Delicate Pines stamp set (#166067). I have used the DSP & dies for these pine snowflakes images.

I also cut the fine pine leaves with the dies using Shaded Spruce card (#147006) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

The circle was cut with a Spotlight On Nature die (#163580) using the Bright Copper from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772). I also used this metallic paper for the sentiment which were cut with the Words For The Season Dies (#165797).

The Traditional Wreath Embossing Folder (#165874) was used to dry embossed with the Basic White card front (#166781), then this was matted with Shaded Spruce card.

The circle was taped to the card and I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the larger snowflake. Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the 2 smaller die cut pieces to the centre of the snowflake. The small pine leaves were attached - these are backed with Adhesive Sheet.

The embellishments are from the retired Earth Tones Shimmer Gems.

Joyful Tidings stamp set

 Hi everyone,

The Joyful Tidings stamp set (#165944) was used for the stamping on this card.

I stamped the wreath with VersaMark (#102283) and added Gold Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678), then set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). The sentiment was stamped with Real Red ink (#147084).

The 3 circles were cut with the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580). The larger circle was cut from the Gold from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772). I also used this gold paper to matt the Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165969). To use this gold specialty paper very efficiently, I cut the circle from the centre of the square piece of gold. Of course this piece cut out is covered by the DSP.

The circles were taped together, then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). A Traditional Sparkling Sequin (#165875) was attached to the sentiment. The base card is Basic White (#166781).

Charming Day bundle

 Hi friends,

I have used the beautiful Charming Day Bundle (#166136) for today’s card but highlighting the dies

The Berry Burst card front (#144249) was dry embossed with the Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder (#164695) and attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

A triangle of the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper (#166125) was attached to the card front. The sentiment is from the Charming Day stamp set (#166136) and I stamped this with Blackberry Bliss ink (#147092). A die from Spotlight On Nature (#163580) was used to cut the sentiment.

The floral die cut image and sentiment were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The gold foil leaves were backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). Just remove the backing and attach them to the card.

Another Simple Scrapbook Layout

 Hello crafty friends,

Here’s another simple double page Scrapbook layout with more photos from our recent short get away.

I used the Cloud Cover Two Tone cardstock (#166708) for the base pages. I cut a piece of DSP from the Everyday You & Me Scrapbooking Workshop kit (#166628) and attached it to the sides of the base pages. I also cut this same DSP with Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580). I cut smaller circles with the Spotlight On Nature dies using Cloud Cover card (#165293) and Misty Moonlight card (#153086). These were taped to the pages.

The photos were matted with Basic Black card (#121688).

The die cut leaves are also from the Everyday You & Me Scrapbooking Workshop kit. I attached these with Mini Glue Dots (#152334). I used a Happy Little Things die (retired) and a Beautiful Butterflies die (#164614) for the small titles.

Terrific Toadstools

 Hello & welcome,

Before I put the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper (#165196) from yesterday’s card, I thought I would use it again on this card with a totally different look.

Again I matted the DSP with Mossy Meadow card (#133683). This was attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I used the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580) to cut the circles. “Best Of Luck” is from the Unbounded Love stamp set (#163378) and stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111).

The toadstools are from the Terrific Toadstools stamp set (#164783). These were stamped with Pecan Pie ink (#161665) and Timid Tiger ink (#165278). The stalks were stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) and the Terrific Toadstools Builder Punch (#164789) was used to punch the toadstools & stalks.

I used a die from the Mixed Labels dies (#164652) to cut the small leaves from Old Olive card (#106576).

The mossy meadow circle was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) were used to attach the sentiment and toadstools. Mini Glue Dots were used to attach the leaves. The Holographic Resin Dots (#165598) were added to the card.
