Label Me Pretty stamp set

Hi everyone,

The current Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue will be retired on 2nd June, which means that some of the products will no longer available to purchase. I have quite enjoyed highlighting some of the retiring products over the last few weeks on my cards. Here is another one.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the Happy Birthday image from the Label Me Pretty stamp set (#151220) and the butterfly from the Painted Glass stamp set (#148220) were stamped onto Whisper White card. I used Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) for the Happy Birthday image and Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) for the butterfly. The Stampin’ Blends used for the colouring are Purple Posy Combo (#149566), Highland Heather Combo (#147276), Mango Melody Combo (#147945), Dark Pool Party (#144594), Soft Sea Foam Combo (#148059) and Light Mint Macaron (#147020). I punched this image with the co-ordinating Pretty Label Punch (#143715). The detailed border is cut from Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) using a die from the Stained Glass Dies (#146347). The butterfly is also cut with a die from the same set. The leafy pieces are cut with dies from the Birthday Dies (#153590). I used Highland Heather card (#147010), Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) and Silver Foil Sheet (#132178). The cardfront is So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper (#152313) and I attached this Purple Posy Vellum to a piece of Whisper White card which are the same size. That allowed me to attach the 2 pieces together with silver Metallic Brads (#146929), then attached it to the base card using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The butterfly and birthday image were also attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897) to add some sparkle to the flowers and butterfly.

The retiring products here are the Label Me Pretty stamp set, Pretty Label Punch, Painted Glass stamp set, Stained Glass Dies, Birthday dies, Metallic Brads and So Very Vellum Specialty DSP.

Good Morning Magnolia

Welcome,

I haven’t played with the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set (#c149298) for some time, so have used it on today’s card.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the Designer Series Paper is Magnolia Lane (#149484). The banners are cut from Whisper White card, Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and Soft Sea Foam card (#147012). I embossed the White card with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder (#152321). I used the Banner Triple Punch (#138292) to punch each of the banner ends. I stamped the flowers from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set using VersaMark (#102283), then added the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The flowers were coloured with Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Combo (#147272) and Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends (#144574).  The sentiment from the same stamp set was also gold heat embossed and cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#148551) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Gold Foil leaves were cut with the Magnolia Memory dies (#149578) and the Soft Sea Foam leaves with the Birthday Dies (#153590). 

The annual catalogue and 2020 Mini catalogue will be finishing on 2nd June, so there are many products retiring.

Fanciful Fragrance

Hi friends,

It is easy to forget some of the smaller images in a stamp set, and this flower is one that I think I have only used inside a card.

These flowers are from the Fanciful Fragrance stamp set (#c149281) and I stamped them with Crumb Cake ink (#147116). Using the Stamparatus (#148187) makes it very easy to align the images. I used Stampin’ Blends to colour the images. The colours are Dark Petal Pink (#146871), Purple Posy combo (#149566), Light Pool Party (#144595), Dark Sea Foam (#148058) and Dark So Saffron (#149556). All the cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) was also used. The die to cut the card with the flowers is from the Ornate Border Dies (#152724). The cardfront was embossed with the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder (#151801). The leaves and buds were cut with the Birthday Dies (#153590) and attached to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The sentiment from Peaceful Moments stamp set (#c151595) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) was added and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). A die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (#151690) was used to cut this, then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The ribbon is Gold 3/8” Metallic-Edge Ribbon (#144140). I sponged the edges of the cardfront and sentiment with Crumb Cake ink and finished the card by adding Glitter Enamel Dots to 3 of the flowers.

Birthday Dies and Happy Birthday To You

Hello,

I have used the Birthday Dies (#153590) which coordinate with the Happy Birthday To You stamp set (#152308), and these dies will be available on 4th February.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549). I stamped the splotches on the background with So Saffron ink (#147108). The Designer Series Paper is from the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper (#152311) and the blue card is Seaside Spray (#150889). I stamped the cake & flower image twice, using VersaMark (#102283) and embossed them with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129). One die cut the whole cake and the another die cut the flowers from the second image. I coloured the cake with Light So Saffron Stampin’ Blends (#149555). The flowers were coloured with Light & Dark Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends (#149569), Light & Dark Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends (#147283) and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#144585). I used Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) for the cake stand which was also cut with a die from the Birthday Dies. “Celebrate” was stamped with Seaside Spray ink (#150085), then cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#148551). The cake stand, sentiment and flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I finished the card with Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#150457).

Happy Birthday To You with Birthday Dies

Hello Ladies & Guys,

On 4th February, there will be 5 sets of dies and some Designer Series Paper available in the Coordination Product Release, and as the name suggests, they coordinate with stamp sets and punches that are available in the 2020 Mini catalogue and Sale-a-bration catalogue. An advantage of being a demonstrator is that we can purchase these products earlier, so couldn’t resist using them today.

Here I have used one of the dies from the Birthday Dies (#153590) which coordinates with the Happy Birthday To You stamp set (#152308) from Sale-a-bration. I love how you can just use the flowers and not the whole image with the cake, or you can layer each of the images.

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549). I stamped Happy Birthday from the Happy Birthday Stamp set using Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052). I then embossed the card front with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder (#149634). The flowers were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and coloured with Stampin’ Blends. I used Dark & Light Flirty Flamingo (#147278), Dark & Light Soft Sea Foam (#148059) and Dark Daffodil Delight (#144585). The Birthday Dies were used to cut the flowers and leaves. I used Soft sea Foam card (#147012) for the leaves. The leaves were glued with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309) and the flowers attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). Holiday Rhinestones Basic Jewels (#150457) were added to the card.
